Bachelor by Orchard House

J’ai particulièrement apprécié l’emplacement, qui était très pratique : les arrêts de bus, les commerces et la plage se trouvaient tous à proximité, ce qui facilitait vraiment les déplacements et le séjour.

Ce que j’ai le moins apprécié concerne principalement le bruit. Le réfrigérateur faisait régulièrement un bruit très important, par intermittence, ce qui était particulièrement gênant la nuit et empêchait de dormir correctement. Le logement est également trés mal insonorisé et situé près de la route, avec le passage des voitures que l’on entend beaucoup. Enfin, la communication avant notre arrivée était moyenne : plusieurs messages ont été envoyés, mais nous n’avons pas reçu de réponse.

Etant proche d un axe hautement fréquenté, c'est bruyant le soir.

The accommodation is ideally located. A short safe walk to restaurants, bars, ATMs and shopping mall. A very good bar to watch sports and enjoy good food at reasonable prices Keebees. Beaches also within a short walk. The accommodation is comfortable, clean and modern. Michael is an excellent host and was on site to resolve the few minor queries I had. There is a small balcony to sit outside an enjoy the evening. Local buses and taxis run along road a few yards from the property. I traveled by local minibus from Vieux Fort to Rodney Bay via Castries which is leisurely and enjoyable if you do not mind sharing and taking a bit longer. People very helpful in advising where to get buses.

Not really a dislike but a micro wave would have been useful.

Très bel petite maison très calme juste en face du centre commercial de Rodney Bay. Michael est super gentil !

Locatia este chiar in centu, la aproximativ 15 minute de mers pe jos pana la plaje, statie de microbuz chiar in fata locatiei, un Mall la 200 de metri care are un supermarket bine aprovizionat, locatia este chiar in fata ta dar nu exista o pancarda ceva sa o gasesti, trebuie neaparat sa suni proprietarul, daca nu o gasesti exact pe colt, te uiti in curte si te orientezi dupa pozele ce sunt postate pe cazare. De la si la aeroport se poate ajunge cu microbuzul dar trebuie sa mergi pe jos intre pista de aeroport si cimitir aproximativ 1,3 km pana la un sens giratoriu apoi statia este la cativa metri.

Michael is a great host, is there if you need him but leaves you to it. The cabin is great the space has been used well planned. The location is spot on right in Rodney bay and there is a taxi rank opposite aswell as local mini buses you can catch 2 min walk from cabin.

This property does not include meals. It is a charming beach style cottage which is attached to the owners home. It is located in the heart of Rodney Bay. Walking distance to restaurants, shopping, beach and street vendors . It is affordable to eat out and the food is delicious! We love St. Lucia. We stayed for 1 month. We were provided with a charcoal BBQ which we used regularly. Good views and good vibes!!

It is located on a busy hwy and is noisy. If you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. Also barking dogs. Water pressure is low and can experience temporary shut offs as the area is going through a drought phase .

Die Unterkunft ist leicht zu finden. Sie wäre super leicht zu finden, würde der Eigentümer hinzufügen: "gleich gegenüber Bay Gardens Hotel". Was soll die Bezeichnung "Bachelor by Orchard House? Es ist dies leider eine fehlgeleitete Masche vieler Vermieter: Sie wollen Ihre Unterkunft durch einen bombastischen Namen aufwerten. Auch im Falle von "Bachelor by Orchard Garden" gibt es keinerlei Plakette mit diesem Namen. Einfach nichts. Tatsächlich handelt es sich bei dem "Studio" um den Teil oder den Anbau eines ortstypischen Flachbaus. Das war es auch schon. Alleinreisende sollten wissen, dass sie vollständig auf sich selbst gestellt sind. Die Kommunikation mit dem Eigentümer ist auf das absolut Notwendige (Bezahlung) limitiert.

Host was gracious and courteous. Location easy to move around and had an awesome experience with Michael.

This was so clean tiny an great the host was exceptional. This place is perfect for a night for two it’s a wonderful location. Would differently stay here again 🙂‍↔️

The bathroom should have hot water

Excellent communication with the owner. The owner is very helpful, helpful, kind. Everywhere is within walking distance. To the supermarket, to the bus stop, to the beach, to the marina.... Beautiful outdoor seating with a view of the garden. I highly recommend it. 10/10

Really nothing I didn't like.

The location is very convenient. Shopping malls, restaurants, supermarket and banks are literally right across the street. I bought my groceries, went into the bank to withdraw US dollars and had two dinners all in one big place. There are varieties of restaurants to choose from. The bus stop is right there as well. For the price I pay, I get the best value.

My only concern was that it got very loud at night because it’s close to the main road. As a light sleeper, I barely got any sleep. Even though I had my trusted earplugs

Cute little bachelor house in the backyard of the owner’s main house, very close to the local supermarket but a bit of a walking distance to other attractions (ie Signal Hill). Good facilities with kitchen and bathroom. Kind owners, good communication.

Located right by a busy road so lots of loud music and noisy cars even late at night, a bit difficult to get a good sleep.

The location was great in terms of proximity to Rodney Bay. It was easily accessible by taxi and public transportation.

There was no microwave.

The amount of money I paid when I got there was like a hundred dollars more than what was on online when I booked the room.

Along with an amazing host, this apartment is in the most ideal location in Rodney Bay. you've got a mall a few minutes walk away and a beach with is just over 10 minutes walk away. The room definitely met my expectations and also the bathroom, with air conditioning to keep you cool during the day and night.

A lovely granny flat/annex attached to the back of the main house but totally private with its own entrance. It had everything you needed including a kitchen and toiletries. The Redoubt beach was just 5-10mins walk away and the main Rodney Bay mall was just across the road with restaurants and a large supermarket. The host was very very helpful and lovely.
