This isn't average hostel; they prioritize convenience and comfort during your stay. Abderahim, the host, is incredibly kind and will organize everything you need (if you ask in advance). The food they prepare is delicious. I recommend ordering dinner in addition to breakfast. I must admit that I really enjoyed the cardamom coffee he prepared. The cleanliness is also noteworthy. I recommend a room with a balcony, which has a great view. Abdul is also a licensed Toubkal guide, so you don't have to worry about organizing your stay before your arrival.

Excellent host, incredibly accommodating and welcoming, very knowledgeable on the area and with suggesting hikes and guides. Great chef, very flexible with times and offering food and tea every time you come back through the door.

À mon arrivée, l'hôte m'a informé que l'établissement était complet et qu'il n'y avait plus de chambre disponible. J'ai dû repartir sans pouvoir séjourner, malgré une réservation confirmée et déjà payée. L'hôte a accepté verbalement d'annuler, mais je n'ai toujours pas reçu mon remboursement. Je demande une intervention urgente de Booking.com pour obtenir le remboursement intégral de ma réservation

Todo salió bien; Abdelrahim era una persona muy amable que se preocupaba por nuestra comodidad. La verdad es que ese lugar merece más de tres días de visita

Velmi laskavý pan majitel, který nám poskytnul všechny důležité informace pro okolí a udělal vše, abychom se u něj cítili jako doma. Hovoří dobře anglicky. Ubytování je velmi čisté, autentické a má k dispozici teplou vodu. Nabídnul nám vynikající místní snídani a také jsme si u něj koupili skvělou tříchodovou večeři. Je velká škoda, že jsme nemohli zůstat déle.

V ubytování bohužel není Wi-Fi, ale pan majitel nám nabídnul hotspot.

Abu é uma pessoa espetacular, sempre pronto a ajudar e a fazer a minha visita memorável.

Si quieres alojarte en un sitio auténtico tienes que quedarte aquí, lo mejor la amabilidad del anfitrión que nos ayudó en todo momento sobre todo a solventar nuestros problemas para encontrar un guía para subir al Toubkal. El desayuno estaba muy bien y tenias la opción de comer allí si querías. Recomiendo tu estancia ahí porque definitivamente son super hospitalarios.

Der Gîte liegt etwas oberhalb von Imlil mit einem schönen Rundumblick. Die Unterkunft ist recht einfach, aber Abdul gleicht das mit seiner freundlichen, hilfsbereiten Art wieder aus.

Es könnte ein bisschen sauberer sein. Außerdem fehlt funktionierendes wlan.

Accueil exceptionnel d’Abdou. Chaleureux, drôle et bienveillant. L'emplacement est exceptionnel et les rando aux allentours sont magiques. Logement simple et suffisant. Très bon rapport qualité prix !

Abdul is ver uit de warmste gastheer! We voelden ons meteen thuis en hij hielp met de organisatie van onze trektocht! Ik zou hier opnieuw verblijven zonder twijfel.

Un endroit qui ne merite pas d’etre noté 9/10 , au debut à notre arrivée ils nous ont declaré qu’il n ´ya plus de chambre alors qu’on a déjà payé le sejour puis ils nous ont preparé une chambre sans equipement on a du demander le papier toilette , et nous ont ramené les draps et les serviettes plus tard ,, pas de savon dans les toillettes Le seul point positif un bon dinner avec un delicieux tagine malgré que la soupe d’entrée , la salade n’etait pas bon et un prix de 80 dhs par personne ne le vaut pas

This place is a gem. In a town where you can easily pay triple the amount, the owners provide private rooms in a hostel-like experience which is greatly enhanced by their warmth, kindness and hospitality. We visited during Ramadan and ate at the Gite every night until Eid. The evening meals were simple, delicious and healthy: full of vegetables: prefect after a long day hiking, biking, etc. A bonus was condiments we asked for appeared the following day. The dining room was cosy and everyone ate their meals together. This created a convivial atmosphere and we met many interesting people of all ages. The owner was full of local knowledge and able to organise a guide for people wanting to visit toubkhal, direct us to the best shops for local produce and advise on routes, weather conditions and more or less everything else. I chose to stay here after reading many reviews about the hospitality and I'm happy to say they were all true. A truly heartwarming place to stay.

The construction of the building means that the rooms get quite damp overnight. This is remedied by opening the windows every morning to fully air the rooms and I took my clothes onto the roof to air them. I don't think there's much to be done about it and it's a minor gripe.

I stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. I arrived late the first night, and the guys was kind enough to wait up for me. After returning from the Toubkal summit on my second night, I received a wonderful welcome with tea and local snacks. Everything was perfect—thank you!

Excellent breakfast on the tarrace with a nice view and a very polite owner, location is pretty solid.

Problems with hot water and no towels, also not the most comfy place.

Abdul est un hôte au petit soin et le cœur sur la main ! Il met tout en œuvre pour nous faire plaisir et conseille aussi des randos si besoin. Le petit déjeuner est très bien. On se sent à la maison. Deux gros gros + : - Le tajine légume du soir était vraiment délicieux, les légumes étaient super bien épicés ! - La terrasse avec une vue incroyable sur la montagne, complètement à l’abris du bruit !

Le lieu est rustique mais correspond totalement au prix, voir mieux, ça dépend de ce que vous cherchez ! (Il n’y a pas vraiment de wifi)

Je recommande vivement cet hébergement. Accueil repas emplacement au top. Endroit très sympa. Merci à notre gentil hôte très dévoué.

Líbilo se nám, že se o nás starala celá Abdulova rodina. Ubytování mělo přesně to, co mít má. Snídaně je opravdu v ceně a večeři si můžete za dobré peníze dokoupit.

Teníem una habitació reservada amb una sèrie de coses que deia l’anunci i no hi havia absolutament res. Al lavabo tampoc. Wifi tampoc. Lesmorçar molt pobre

Le village , la vue et les montagnes

Arnaque!!!!Surtout ne pas faire confiance au gérant..il nous a fait la faveur de prendre un taxi pour nous,il nous a ensuite demandé 200 dhirams pour faire le plein d'essence, mais le taxiste n'était pas au courant!!!il a gardé l’argent pour lui..en faisant croire qu'il nous traité comme ses amis Bonne arnaque !!! L'hôtel est a moitié construit, le lavabo n'a pas de conduis !! Jamais aller là bas.

I recommend this place with all my heart. I went to Imlil completely on my own, but thanks to the owner, I felt as if I were with my best friend. He is an incredibly kind, helpful, and warm-hearted person — thanks to him, you feel in this place as if you were at home. From the very first moment, he makes you feel safe, comfortable, and truly cared for. The place is charming, with a beautiful view, and the food is absolutely delicious — the best tagine I had in Morocco!!!!! If you plan to stay here and go to the mountains, then only with Abdul. After a bad experience with a commercial group trip, I will definitely come back — only to this place and only with this guide (the owner is also a guide). I am very grateful for his kindness, support, and genuine hospitality.

Nous sommes venus avec nos deux filles de 3 et 8 ans. Nous avons aimé l’emplacement en dehors du cœur du village qui nous emmené à faire des rencontres sympatiques. L’hôte Abdu a été aux petits soins avec nous.

Het ontvangst was heel gastvrij, we hebben een heel erg fijn verblijf gehad!

Der Besitzer ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Er hat uns eine Wanderung empfohlen und auch für andere Gäste Touren mit und ohne Guids organisiert. Das Frühstück war top! Der Ausblick von der Dachterrasse ist wunderschön.

Best hospitality I've encountered in Morocco

L'accueil d'Abdou a été exceptionnel, nous avons été reçues comme à la maison et avons partagé de beaux moments avec lui et sa famille. L'endroit est simple, en cohérence avec le prix mais tout est impeccable et Abdou veillera à ce que vous passiez un agréable moment. Parking pratique dans la rue peu fréquentée, sur les hauteurs du village, au calme. Nous espérons revenir une prochaine fois pour l'ascension du Toubkal avec lui.

Fantastic location. Excellent breakfast. The tagine evening meal was delicious. The owner is incredibly hospitable and helpful. I was regularly offered Moroccan tea and as it was so cold soup was made for me. The bed was very comfortable and a portable gas heater was provided to keep guests warm. The shower was lovely and hot.

Due to location the WIFI was hit and miss but the owner shared his own mobile data with me when needed which was very kind.

Abdul nagyon kedvesen fogadott minket, és mindenben segített. Ő intézte a hegyivezetőt, tőle béreltünk jégcsákányt, sisakot. A hegymászás után isteni vacsorával várt minket. Végül segített megszervezni a kirándulásunkat a Szaharába. Mindig nagyon finom menta teával kínált minket.

Le séjour chez Abdou nous a ravi ! Il est un hôte accueillant et chaleureux, toujours prêt a discuter et conseiller pour découvrir les meilleurs coins d'Imlil. Nole gite est un peu a l'écart du village, ce qui plaira aux personnes recherchant le calme et la belle vue sur la montagne. Nous recommandons vivement de passer chez Abdou lors de votre voyage dans l'Atlas et le massif du Toubkal.

Abdoul est super gentil et arrangeant. Il nous a préparé l’un des meilleurs repas de notre voyage et nous a même prêté des affaires de randonnées. Je recommande vivement surtout vu le prix extrêmement faible.

Nous avons passé un bon séjour chez Abdou. Il est très accueillant et arrangeant ! Les repas et les petits déjeuners sont très bons. La chambre est correcte pour le prix (il ne faut pas s’attendre au grand luxe). La vue depuis la terrasse au petit déjeuner est superbe. Abdou nous a indiqué de belles randonnées à faire au départ du gîte, et les bergers nous ont également bien orientés sur le chemin. Superbe expérience, même dans la neige au pic du mont Tasghimout.

Le confort est simple mais correspond au prix.

Abdul fue muy amable desde el primer momento. En la terracita, mientras tomas el té que Abdul muy amablemente comparte, se ve la montaña espectacular. El frío; con el calefactor y las mantitas, se maneja muy bien. Volvería siempre :)

Todo estuvo muy bien

Reservamos por una noche y nos quedamos 3. El dueño es muy amable, el desayuno esta muy bien, la terraza tiene una vista increible, pero la casa es muy fria. Probablemnte en verano sea una buena eleccion, pero si sos muy friolento, en invierno lo pensaria... No hay Wifi, si necesitas enviar algun mensaje el puede compartirte el de tu telefono. Pero no hay Wifi. Nosotros elegimos el lugar porque decia que tenia cocina. La usamos! Y simpre que quisimos agua caliente la tuvimos, pero al.final de la estadia nos sugirio una colaboracion por usar su cocina. Tambien tiene la opcion de cocinarte, a nosostros nos cocino tajin y eataba muy bueno! Si vas a quedarte mas tiempo de lo que reservaste, hacelo por booking o pacta el precio con el dueño con antelacion.

We arrived very late and still the host was waiting for us so checking in was very easy. It was unusually cold in the valley and thankfully the host took well care of us by bringing electric heater into the room in addition to the several blankets already available. The breakfast was delicious: warm local bread, peanutbutter, jams, boiled egg, cheese, caffe and hot tea.

Nothing. Gite Tamsoult gave everything that could be expected.

Abdoul a un sens incroyable de l'accueil. On se sent bien et accueilli chez lui. Et il cuisine divinement bien. Son tagine (poulet ou boeuf) est le meilleur que j'ai goûté lors de mon voyage! Son gîte est situé sur les hauteurs d'Imlil (15 minutes à pied depuis la gare des grands taxis), offrant, depuis la terrasse, une superbe vue sur la vallée et les villages accrochés à flanc de montagne.

Tout était parfait. Je reviendrai :-)

Abdull - the owner is so helpfull, so funny and so nice that I couldn’t resist to stay another night. He can help with hiking, equipment, maps, we even cooked together!

Host was lovely Rooms comfortable and great value for money He cooked us a great (albeit slightly expensive) dinner one night and even let us move rooms to a warmer one.

Zero insulation and the heater is in the hallway. If it is cold outside you will probably be colder inside. Plenty of blankets provided for sleeping though.

Hace frio en esta época del año en Imlil, pero Abdoul consiguió que nos sintiésemos confortables con mantas y estufa de gas en el alojamiento.

Great location, just far enough out of town to be quiet but not a hard walk The breakfast was good Owner is helpful and speaks good English There was good hot water in the evenings. Good value for price paid. It was busy all the nights I was there despite it being relatively slow season, which is a good sign.

The rooms get very cold, at least in November when I was there. There’s not a real shower, but rather a shower faucet you need to hold to spray yourself - especially with the very cold room temp it made it uncomfortable. There’s no wifi, towels or toilet paper - probably pretty standard for the area especially at this price, but important to know.

I enjoyed my stay as Abdou and his family are great hosts, who made me well very welcome. He also gave good advice te the hiking trails. The breakfast was simple but filling and tasted good. The roof terrace was a nice place to sit on the sunshine. Well located steep walk up from town but easy to walk everywhere.

Towels and toilet paper I think are available on request but I had my own. No WiFi but cheap to buy a SIM card with data in town.

Abdu nous a fait un accueil très chaleureux. Il veille à notre confort. Nous y avons mangé un excellent tajine et petit déjeuner bien complet. Il faut garder à l’idée que c’est un gîte de montagne et ne pas attendre le confort d’un hôtel mais n’est ce pas l’authenticité que l’on recherche quand on vient en montagne ?

Tout est très bien. Si quelque chose manque (comme par exemple l’eau chaude, il faut le signaler à Abdu qui règlera le problème).

It’s a short walk uphill just out of town so it’s nice and peaceful.

Za tyto peníze bylo ubytování naprosto perfektní. Ve skvělé, klidné lokalitě. Abdul je velmi přátelský. Jeho syn s námi absolvoval výstup na Toukal - jeho služby můžeme také doporučit.

We have just stayed for four nights here at Gite Tamsoulte. The accomodation is pleasant as advertised, however what makes it exceptional is the hospitality of Abdou and his family, the wonderful hosts. We arrived with a loose plan that we wanted to do some day hikes, and Abdou sat down with us to help plan walks and also day trips to nearby towns that matched our needs. He is a hiking expert and a very genuine person - and a great cook. We enjoyed a beautiful traditional Berber breakfast, with many of the jams and spreads being homemade. His dinners are very filling with simple, authentic flavours that showcase the beautiful Moroccan and Berber cuisines. I recommend getting your taxi to drop you at the accomodation if possible, rather than the grand taxi rank as it is approximately another 10 minutes walk uphill, so will make things easier for you (but not essential). We felt very safe and welcomed here and in Imlil, the locals are very friendly and always happy to help. You must try their local amlou (almond butter) - it is amazing. Although it can be hard to find legitimate reviews in Morocco, I promise, this place is not to be missed.

Le gîte Tamsoulte est une excellente adresse. Je vous la recommande vivement. Abdoul est un super hôte, il a de très bons conseils à donner pour randonner dans la région. Tout est parfait!
