Super liebe, flexible Gastgeberin, hat versucht, all unsere "Extrawünsche" zu erfüllen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist zentral und das Frühstück war gut.

Sheeba und Ihre Familie ist sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück war sehr gut, man konnte auch nachbestellen. Im oberen Stockwerk würde ich die Aufzahlung für die Air-conditioning empfehlen.

Die Gastgeberin reißt es raus! Wer typisch indisch wohnen möchte und in Familie frühstücken will, ist hier genau richtig! Europäische Ansprüche in Sachen Ausstattung und Sauberkeit muss man vergessen. Dafür bekommt man aber einen wirklich authentischen Einblick ☺️

Sheebah ist eine liebe Gastgeberin! Keralesisches Frühstück köstlich. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet! Bei Bedarf AC. Wasserkocher und Wasserspender.

Wir hatten einen super Start unserer Reise bei Sheeba! Sheeba ist total nett und hat uns jeden Tag ein super leckeres indisches Frühstück zubereitet.

Un homestay très propre avec des lits confortables. Les chambres disposent de ventilateurs mais climatisation possible moyennant un supplément. Tres bon petits déjeuners servis par Sheeba avec des spécialités locales tous les jours.

Sheeba herself greeted us cheerily as we walked down the narrow, quiet, dead-end alley to the homestay on arrival. She was very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. We were very glad that we opted to pay the very reasonable extra charge for A/C. That made the room a cool respite in the hot afternoons of late March. The location is great - a quiet neighborhood within easy walking distance of Fort Cochin attractions. The other guests were an interesting lot. We lingered far longer than our usual wont around the communal breakfast table, enjoying conversation with others from India, France, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Belgium.

I was confused during the initial booking process and thought I was booking the entire three-room apartment, when I was really only booking one of the rooms. It worked out fine in the end (and was quite inexpensive), but we were (obviously) more cramped in one room than in an apartment.

The location was very near to everything in Fort Cochin.

The shower didn’t work in our bedroom.

Sheeba ist eine tolle Gastgeberin. Das ist mal ein echter Homestay, wo man mitten im Familienleben wohnt und morgens im Wohnzimmer das frisch zubereitete, leckere Frühstück nach Kerala Art zu sich nimmt.

Clean, easy access to town’s main attractions. Host was very polite and most helpful.

Nothing to really detract from our stay, however it is worth knowing that whilst we were offered a choice of a room upstairs or on the ground floor, we chose the latter, all of which feed off the shared sitting area which can be little noisy as the evening wears on.

Sheeba is a caring and easy going person. The facilities were in really good condition. Good location for exploring fort kochi.

I ended a month-long solo trip at Sheeba's and it was a great place to do so. Felt very comfortable in the room and overall clean space. Truly feels like you are at home. WiFi is available, water is provided and Sheeba makes a delicious breakfast each morning. I also appreciate her kindness is giving advice for travel plans. As a solo woman traveler, the venue and her help made me feel very safe. The property is in a peaceful area, with lots of greenery, but also very close walking distance to the main beachfront, as well as the bus stand, water metro and ferry jetties. Lots of small supply shops and good restaurants nearby.

Sheebas was warm and friendly. Great breakfast a great source of local knowledge would and have highly recommended .

Lovely family atmosphere

The room had two separate twin beds an ensuite bathroom (cold water shower) a high speed fan and the added option of air con, which we made full use of for 300INR per night.

Everything was as expected

Loved the location and warmth of hosts, large rooms, nice balcony and a lovely breakfast. Sheeba also let us leave our bags on the last day which was so helpful.

Sheeba and George were very warm, friendly and helpful. Sheeba’s breakfast was delicious . We felt really looked after and the location is excellent .

A wonderful stay in Sheeba’s home! She’s such a lovely host and the room was very sufficient. Paid a bit more for A/C as I wasn’t able to do without in the heat and it was worth it. Breakfast was really nice and a highlight. Would book again.

This homestay is great located, next to the main area Room is clean and worth the money Sheeba is very friendly and helpful I highly recommend

The best things about this place were the location and the host. The place is close to the main attractions of the city, and Sheeba is very helpful and nice 🙂

Breakfast was kind of basic… Chapati and fried egg with chai. The bathroom was a bit tight with the shower (open) very close to the toilet which made it a bit uncomfortable.

Great stay in a comfortable, clean room and very nice owners. Great location. Good value.

The place is close to a major street so it can be noisy. But I suppose that is the case with many homestays in Fort Kochi

Sheeba’s homestay was my partner and I’s first stop on our travelling journey in India. Sheeba was a perfect host, she was very kind and helpful when we had any questions. She cooked and served a different breakfast every morning, all of which were so tasty. The room was a good size, and decent size washroom too. Everything was clean and well presented when we arrived. The location was great, walking distance to fort kochi beach and easy access to the ferry when we needed it (again only walking distance)

Not their fault but there are lots of mosquitoes around. They have tried to keep them out with screen doors and screens on the windows.

Many mosquitos in room but mosquito net provided All areas that are made to be used are super clean, areas like i.e. on top of the bathroom cupboard could be a little more clean.

Great host who even held a cooking class for me alone although she normally only does it for groups. Central location. Nothing fancy, but wholesome and well kept.

Clean and in a cute neighborhood in fort kochi. We arrived really late (11p) and Sheeba was so accomodating. She even came out of the house to greet us. Breakfast is a homely affair. Simple and Delicious.

Very friendly, helpful owner, good breakfast, convenient location. The room was spacious and clean. For this price you couldn’t ask for more.

I think it was too cheap 😜 The owner should charge at least twice that what she asks for.

The best things about this homestay is undoubtedly the host (Sheeba), the breakfast she serves and the location. Sheeba is the warmest host, available around the clock for responding to all of our needs. She had local recommendations and within minutes booked us a comfortable and reliable cab to the airport. We got breakfast everyday at 9 AM and in our 6 night stay, breakfast was different every single day and absolutely amazing! As a tourist this was such an excellent way to have access to homely cooking with food from the region. To be honest, we would not have been able to ensure that we tried all the lovely dishes served at breakfast, if we were on our own. The main reason for this is that Fort Kochi is definitely touristy and offers cafes and outlets that serve food that isn't as wholesome as a home made meal, as restaurant meals can be a bit fancy. This also brings me to the third big plus of Sheeba's homestay, the location is beyond perfect. We were walking distance from all the main attractions in Forth Kochi and would spend the day walking around as we had such great access to everything.

It was a great central starting point to our trip . Sheeba, her family (the other guests) were lovely giving great advice of the area. Sheeba made extra effort at breakfast to accommodate my partner who is medically gluten free, she also helped arrange onwards travel.

The host is very nice. Very close to points of interest in Kochi. The bathroom and room were clean. Space to hang clothes on the roof.

The window to my bathroom lined up with the steps to the roof so when I went to hang clothes I could see the entire bathroom. The plastic shields that block the window were broken and sitting on the stairs so they know about the problem. She only accepts cash payments but doesn't keep change on the property to complete transactions so she kept extra money and didn't even mention that she was going to keep it. I noticed when I counted my change.

Sheeba and her husband are super friendly and very helpful. This was my first time in India as a solo female traveler and they made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. The location is great for wandering around the local area, shops, restaurants and more. Sheeba recommended places I might like to visit and also arranged transport for me. The breakfast Sheeba cooks is amazing and very delicious.

Fort Kochi is a place, where yo would want to spend some time and roam on the streets. So, this has got the perfact location - in the heart of the Fort area - Fishing nets were less than 5 min walk. Mrs. Sheeba is of very helpful nature and more importantly flexible in adjusting small things. They live on ground floor and have 3 rooms on first floor for homestay. I felt very safe environment for my wife, whenever I had to go out for work during our stay. Breakfast was good and was served with personal care. AC and hot water were available. Overall - Not a luxury but met the necessities.

Room size was a bit smaller but that wasn't problematic. Approx. 9x9 ft room was filled by 6x6 ft bed. Table was there. No TV, but wifi was there. Window was there but next house was very near, so we had to kept the curtains on. Attached bathroom was also relatively small but clean.

The host is very kind. Breakfast was delicious. She catered to our needs perfectly. Location is also very convenient for all tourist spots in Fort Kochi.

The listing shows 3 bedroom apartment but you only get the 1 room. You have to book the other rooms separately (not sure how though). We were surprised that we were only allotted 1 room where we expected 3.

Location is great because it’s close to everything, but if you’re sensitive to light or noise, this might not be for you. It was clean, however it could’ve been cleaner and was a bit cluttered in the common area due to a family staying there (it was clean after they left). Sheeba, the host, does the best she can to keep the place clean. She’s the sweetest and provides some good Kerala breakfast accompanied with a little conversation. She has a warm heart. Basically, if all you’re looking for is a bed and a shower, it’s a no brainer thanks to the price.

Sheeba is warm and welcomes you into her home with an always present cheerful smile. Close to most of the major attractions in Fort Kochi area, can be easily covered by foot. Homestay was clean, neat and perfect for our family of 7 members who had the entire 1st floor to ourselves. Its complete value for money. Special mention to the wonderful, tasty yet simple breakfast that was to the liking of the old and the young in the family.

Not much. If i have to nitpick then probably a kitchen with running water would have helped in washing our plates after eating. Some ceiling fan regulators were missing which made changing the speed of fans quite a challenge.
