Reviewed Sep 5, 2026Location is good, parking in driveway was helpful. The studio and bed are comfortable. The kitchen was large and well equipped. Towels, bedding and small blankets were good quality. Access to outside for dog walk was easy
There are 13 stairs down to basement studio apartment. The footsteps and activity upstairs can be loud. There was vacuuming on the last morning that was very loud. Needed more counter space in bathroom.

Rapporto qualità/prezzo eccezionale

Reviewed Jul 25, 2026The basement suite was very clean, practical and nicely decorated. We stayed with two small kids, and they kindly provided us with a high chair and toys. The information sheet told us not to worry about disturbing the hosts with a crying child, which was a really nice gesture. The suite is in a neighborhood, not very far from a beautiful forest. We stayed for a family event in the same neighborhood, so a perfect location for us. You do need a car to get around.
We could hear thumping from walking upstairs pretty well. If you are a light or early sleeper, it could be disturbing. The fold out sofa bed wasn't super comfortable (we stayed for 10 days), but that is kind of to be expected.

I especially liked the washing machine and dryer as we were half way through our holiday. Cathy was able to book a whale watching trip for us and offered a discounted price.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The decor, the extra supplies and thoughtful touches. Its really well designed, laid out and stocked with everything you can think of! Nice entrance, signage, privacy etc.
Instructions to work the lock weren't clear; hosts were not timely in responding to issues; noise from upstairs (people watching tv) was filtering downstairs; air conditioning is not available for guests to adjust - it is controlled by the hosts upstairs... not fair to advertise the suit has air conditioning in my opinion.

We travelled with a dog and finding him a place to “go” in the mornings was a bit of a walk given that the property is in a very residential area. Not a deal breaker though and we’d definitely stay again!

I didn't enjoy the cold white lights, but there were very warm bedside table lamps. A small stool or bench in the shower might be helpful.
