It was a suite with kitchen area, sitting room, dining table, bedroom and bathroom, all spotlessly clean with everything in good working order. Full size fridge with freezer. Thanks for the chocolates! Great place to stay.

It was clean with a well equipped kitchen area

It’s the most welcoming and lovingly set up place we’ve stayed at during our whole trip. The bed is so plush and comfortable. The bathroom is squeaky clean. Karen is very helpful. We loved the flowers on the decking, and the deer coming to visit in the grounds.

The views of Discovery Strait are interrupted by a building across the road and a hedge/fence, and the highway can be a bit noisy.

Everything! It’s so quaint and perfect! The manager Karen is lovely.

Our cottage was wonderful—clean, cozy, and well cared for. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking your own meals. Complimentary coffee, tea, and cream was a thoughtful touch. Location awesome. Beach just steps away across the road. It’s rocky but a beautiful spot to enjoy!

Lovely little apartment with everything you need onsite. Karen was so friendly and sorted out a little blip right away. You are well positioned to drive into town and to everything else you might need. The sea is just across the road from the property.

The cabin was cosy, comfy and very well equipped. Karen is doing a wonderful job.

The highway was quite busy.

Excellent location with well appointed cabin that facilitated use of the kitchen facilities. Loved that it was nice and clean and in great shape - appeared recently updated.

While there were 2 fans in the cottage, it did get quite hot. Having an extra fan or one on a stand to help move air thru the unit would have been nice. Also a king size bed would be perfect.

Had everything we needed for a 3 day stay and a beautiful outlook to the river. Close to town (5 minute drive) and shops.

Well equipped accommodation with everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. Convenient location for exploring Campbell River, Elk Falls, Strathcona Park and trips to the islands.

Only drawback was a over sensitive smoke detector which made frying salmon a noisy experience!

Very clean and comfortable. It was great to have an equipped kitchenette. Easy walk to restaurants and the beach. Watched cruise ships going by. Also had visiting deer on the property.

Everything about the driftwood by the sea is amazing. Perfect location, short walk into town plus the beach is right across the road. The owners are beyond kind and helpful and have made it feel like a second home. With cooking facilities for those nights you need a home cooked meal!

Could use some locks on the windows, so the windows can be left open a crack for ventilation, yet not affect security of belonging left unattended during the day.

The shower head is very noisy. It should be replaced.

The room had everything to make you comfortable.we were able to make meals,which was great for us.

Really liked having cooking facilities, comfy lounge/ dining area and seating outside on the veranda (amongst beautiful hanging baskets) The cottage was spacious and clean.There was lots of local information available in the cottage which was helpful. Appreciated the tea, coffee, creamer etc. provided in the cottage. Karen the host was very friendly and helpful. Laundry facilities on site was a bonus and Karen even gave us laundry capsules for free. Parking was right outside the cottages. Lovely to see deer wandering around the site every morning and evening. Great location right across the road from the beach and a few minutes drive from the attractions of Campbell River.

The shower in the cottage is extremely small The road outside was busy therefore noisy. However once inside the cottage it wasn't an issue and the bedroom was at the back of the cottage therefore quiet.

Very clean and great location

Very convenient on main drag. We had a cottage & loved it. Also, having a coffee in the morning, or a drink in the evening, on the beach across the road was extremely nice. The deer on the property were cute too.

The first I liked a lot about the cottage is the designated living area with a dining table. This makes our almost-a-week stay much more comfortable. I also really enjoyed the ocean view, partially obstructed however, from the dining table. I also found the kitchenware to be surprisingly in very good shape, compared to many other vacation rentals I stayed at. The cottage is also clean and has enough room for a moderate amount of luggage. The location is great as it's in town and doesn't take long to get to grocery stores, restaurants, and EV chargers. The no-contact check-in was also straightforward.

The plumbing was quite loud. We only noticed this when our next-door neighbor turned on the water in the morning or at night. The shower fits one person, but even that it's a bit of a tight squeeze for a larger person.

Friendly staff, extras like pillows and a cozy blanket. Handy kitchen. Nice view. Saw deer.

Dining chairs were hard, but there were extra pillows to sit on. Couch was a little uncomfortable, but the big blanket made it nice.

Cottage was spotlessly clean. Adequate towels etc for stay. Great location (across road from sea) 10 min walk into middle of Campbell River. Beautiful place with outdoor seating and barbecue area. Launderette which is useful and free detergent!! Staff very helpful and informative

Exceeded our expectations. Highly recommend staying at this quaint stop. Will be booking every year from now on. Room was clean well prepared, accommodating staff! beautiful views, easy access all the amenities of home!

Proximity to highway and traffic noise

Karen had left the cottage open for us to do a self check in, which was very convenient. She was an amazing hostess and even sent a nice text message to me on the morning of our arrival date. The coffee, and cream and chocolates were a nice surprise. The cottage was very cozy and Karen was so welcoming, and told us to let her know if we needed anything. Having free access to the barbecue on site was really nice too. The bed was cozy too. And we loved that the beach was across the street, where we could sit and watch the cruise ships pass by and just sit and watch the water. Very relaxing.

I wish that the shower was a little bit more roomy, but it worked and the water was hot and it had good water pressure. Air conditioning would have been a bonus, but there were two fans that helped cool the room down and there were no mosquitoes, so we could leave the door open to let the breeze in while we were in the living room. The highway in front of the hotel was quite busy and noisy, but you did not hear the traffic from inside the cottage.

Very clean & very friendly

Our host Cindy, was lovely and looked after us so we’ll in her beautiful home. Everything was spotless, the enormous hot tub was great and the breakfasts were out of this world!!

The unit included a kitchenette that had all the essentials including a real stove. The linens and pillows were great. The bed was really comfortable. Very clean. Karen was wonderful, always at the ready to assist or respond to your requests. Karen also stocked the mini fridge with cream and oat milk and chocolates.

Very quiet and peaceful

The place itself was nice. I liked that it was close to town & right across the street was a walking path & the Ocean where one could walk for miles & pick Driftwood. The Cabin itself was nice & clean with lots of Towels & anything else one might need.Restaurants were close by.

There was a gap under the front door big enough I could put my thumb under. If you wanted to use the Coffee Pot you had to unplug the Microwave because the top plug- in outlet was a Light Switch.They could have put a light switch on the inside wall beside the sink.The Shower was way too small. One could hardly move in it. The Cold water tap in the Kitchen leaks.Tried to get a hold of the Staff a few times during the day but no one answer the Office door.

The place was absolutely spotless and very comfortable. Nice and quiet even though it's close to road. I appreciated having access to a laundry room as well.

Quietness, well installed windows and walls. sound proof and maintain the heat all day and night. The appliances, kitchen utensils, bedding, toiletry, leaving space setting with all available channels on TV.. excellent stay.

Had no cardboard recycling set up. Had to bring all my cardboards back home to get it recycled.

It was cute, cozy, convenient and friendly staff.

Small shower no tub but I never noticed that upon booking so just a mention to people who would like that. I also suggest a extra nice thing to have would be to go coffe cups. Thanks for everything it was great.

The location is ideal close to lots of different places great waking trail on the ocean front. Service was great a personal touch all the way. Could use some ventilation to control humidity. But was very nice.

This is a most welcoming and comfortable cabin next to the sea. Well equipped and very clean-very highly recommended.

The Driftwood Inn is a great property and the owners went that extra mile to make our stay more memorable. The camp fire buckets as well as the cruise ship schedule was a nice touch. The location was convenient and had plenty of options around it. Would recommend this place to stay.

Great location and clean throughout!

Check-in was a delight. We got a quick overview of the cottage and all additional features were mentioned. A wonderful book filled with information and maps, a list of recommended restaurants, and a campfire beach bucket - loved it
