The convenience of the location...everything was great sbout the room apart from the bathroom

Unfortunately, the bathroom cleanliness was a major disappointment. When we arrived, there was a very strong smell of urine, and it was clear that the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly. The bathtub still had a visible ring around it, the toilet area smelled of urine, and when showering, the tub did not drain properly and quickly filled with water up to around ankle level. I reported the problem to the front desk, and they told me that the bathroom would receive a deep clean. However, when I returned, I was disappointed to find that very little seemed to have improved. There was still visible dirt and dust around the base of the toilet, the ring around the bathtub was still there, and the drain had not been unclogged, as the tub continued to fill with water while showering. The smell had improved slightly, but it was still noticeable. At that point, I decided not to complain again. I really think the hotel needs to improve its bathroom cleaning standards and make sure reported maintenance issues are actually addressed. The room itself was quite small and appeared fairly new, so I had no complaints about the cleanliness of the main room. My concerns were specifically with the bathroom.

So expensive for what it is. Not even super close to shibuya station. Seems targeted at influencers. You can get more convenient places to stay for much cheaper.

Fabulous location & lovely staff, breakfast & facilities all great.

The room was VERY small. It is pictured correctly in the listing so that wasn’t a surprise, and for a few days would be fine but we struggled a little being there a whole week. That’s on us though! 😆

Location is very convenient. Close to Shibuya center, walkable distance to so many things. Onsite laundromat available.

Gym is small, not really accommodating multiple guests.

The hotel is in a great location and the staff were always friendly and helpful. I really appreciated the luggage delivery service, they can send your bags directly to the airport or even to your next hotel in another city, which made traveling around Japan so much easier and stress-free.

Very well located - very close to the Shibuya crossing. Rooms are small. Super friendly statt at the reception desk and at the breakfast. Definitely recommendable.

Joli hôtel moderne. Les chambres ne sont pas très grandes, mais pratiques et suffisantes pour dormir.

La salle de bain dénote un peu par rapport au reste de la chambre qui est plus moderne et lumineux et on entend les bruits.

Non può essere nella categoria 4 stelle , non c’è frigobar, prodotti da bagno di scadente qualità , neanche una bottiglietta di acqua in camera , non c’è una sala a disposizione dei clienti né un distributore di caffè,non mi è piaciuto nulla conoscendo l accoglienza del Giappone qui proprio siamo lontani mille miglia, e per di più costo medio alto , peccato .

Great location. Comfortable beds. Communal room useful for eating meals brought in. I like the availability of laundry although we didn’t use it. If you open an ASR account you get an extra hour for check in and check out.

Nowhere to put luggage in rooms. They should put a drawer or cabinet or basket or something under the beds. They have breakfast available with a voucher but the staff didn’t tell us about it when we checked in and when we tried to buy a voucher at 9:20am they told us we’re too late (kitchen closes at 10) and recommended a nearby cafe that I didn’t like much. The most annoying thing was the ASR app. The OTP code to add our booking either takes for more than the 5 minutes before the app times out, or never arrives at all. The hotel sends auto messages saying to be sure to use the app but we couldn’t get it to work. Annoying.

De ligging van de accommodatie is ideaal: het is een goede uitvalsbasis om de stad te verkennen. Het station is op loopafstand en een goede bakker ligt 5 minuten verderop. Hetgeen wij heel fijn vonden was het kunnen gebruiken van een wasmachine en droger. Op die manier hoefden we geen vuile was mee te nemen naar ons volgende hotel. In de tijd dat de was liep, konden we een potje pingpongen. De kamer is schoon en elke dag werd een kleine schoonmaak gedaan.

De kamers zijn relatief klein, maar dat is voor Nederlandse begrippen. In Japan is dit vrij normaal. De airco staat recht op het bed gericht, waardoor dit in de nacht soms als storend ervaren kan worden.

Hôtel génial ! Le personnel est vraiment à l’écoute, très serviable et toujours disponible pour aider. C’est un vrai plus, surtout dans un pays où il peut parfois être difficile de communiquer. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour et nous recommandons cet hôtel sans hésiter !

Die Lage des Hotels in Shibuya ist unschlagbar. Direkt neben dem Parco Shoppingcenter. Die Zimmer waren sauber und zweckmässig eingerichtet. Das Hotelpersonal sehr freundlich und sprechen gut englisch.

Die Zimmer sind sehr klein. Kaum Platz um den Koffer zu öffnen

The location was amazing, next to Shibuya Parco, it's near all the attractions at Shibuya and by extension Omotesando and Yoyogi Park. The rooms are small but smartly designed so it's still very comfortable to stay in. It's very useful to have washing machines and dryers and a kitchen area on the second floor too! There's also a gym for those who would like to use it. This has been my favourite funky little boutique hotel in Tokyo, especially for the Shibuya area. Highly Recommended!

The rooms are a bit small but that's expected of most hotels in Tokyo generally anyway. Also, if you open the window in the evening or night it might get a bit noisy from the Main Street but that's because the hotel is at a very convenient and central location.

I work in tourism and have been to a lot of 5 stars luxury hotels, as well as budget ones. Lyf is by far one of the best experiences I ever had at a hotel. Considering the low cost, the property is super clean, complete, staff super helpful and nice, all the amenities. I loved the candy bar at entrance and the nice box with snacks they left in my room when I arrived! The scent of the lobby was great! Gym is small but empty. Laundry is good and complete. Not to mention the perfect location. Although it's at a busy area, the hotel is still quiet, perfect blackout curtains as well. I will certainly come back - either for work or tourism. Rooms are a bit small so for couples traveling with more than one big piece of luggage can be tight.

Location was great, close to everything in Shibuya. Bed was super comfortable, reception staff lovely, booked us a taxi on check out. breakfast was nice.

While the room was nice and clean, it did smell a bit like a dog or cat had been in the room. the smell went away once the air con was on for a bit.

Super Lage und sehr modern! Würde das Hotel sofort wieder für einem Tokyo Aufenthalt buchen.

Wie überall in Japan sind die Zimmer eher klein und man hat wenig Platz um sich auszubreiten. Der Rezeptionsbereich wird auf 19 Grad heruntergekühlt. Bei 36 Grad Aussentemperatur ist das weder gesund, noch sinnvoll. Die Japaner und Amerikaner scheinen es zu lieben.

Very clean hotel and very kind staff. The hotel is located just a 7 minutes walk from Shibuya station so it is very easy to go just about anywhere. There is a water dispenser in the lobby area and on the second floor which is really useful if visiting during summer.

The breakfast was quite limited. There were six main dishes that you had to choose from like bagel with salmon, bagel with bacon etc, plus some extra self service items such as cereals, sausages, hard boiled eggs and fruits. There is no coffee machine apart from a small espresso one. Nevertheless the quality of everything met and surpassed our expectations.

Having laundry and water and other accessible amenities was good. The beds were also comfortable. Staff were incredibly helpful.

Rooms too small especially if sharing with another person. I thought that it was overpriced for what it was. For the price I expected more. Maybe we booked late, not sure.

Die gemeinschaftliche Bereiche waren toll, mit Waschmaschine, Küche, Gym und Wohnzimmer. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und haben uns geholfen, als unsere Tochter krank wurde uns ins Krankenhaus musste. Die Lage kann nicht besser sein.

Der Preis ist überteuert für die kleinen Zimmer, aber ich gehe davon aus, dass es in Tokyo normal ist. Im Rest von Japan haben wir weniger für die Übernachtung bezahlt.

Location is great — very much in busy Shibuya but in a less busy area. Property itself if very modern and vibrant. Having the washer/dryer units available was very useful.

Bathroom could have been cleaner, a DEEP clean. You could see where a basic clean is always done, but there were moldy areas under the toilet rim and in the drainage part of the sink.

Sehr gute Lage im belebten Shibuya Quartier, direkt neben dem Parco-Kaufhaus mit dem Pokemon Center. Sehr moderne Zimmereinrichtung, sehr auf westlich/Englisch eingerichtetes Personal, sehr hilfsbereit beim Buchen von Gepäckservice. Waschmaschinen zur selbstständigen Reinigung stehen zur Verfügung.

Aufgrund der Lage leicht lärmiges Zimmer gehabt.

Loved the location of the hotel, our room and the facilities (kitchen, gym, games room & laundry area)! Every staff we came across, from those at the FO to the Housekeeping team, were so warm & friendly to us. We'll definitely come back!
