Stunning apartment in Beckton with Private Entrance

We booked this last minute as our flight out of nearby London City Airport was cancelled and this was nearby. The owner made it very easy for us to gain access and was quick to answer any questions we had once we arrived. This was a great little apartment, very well appointed, clean and comfortable and a relief to find, with hundreds of other cancelled flights and thousands of travellers all looking for accommodation. It was also close to various restaurants making it convenient to get Uber Eats for dinner. Very close to London City Airport by car/taxi and surprisingly quiet for the density of the neighbourhood and proximity to the airport. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our stay despite the unusually hot weather. The owner was friendly and easy to reach by phone. He returned the deposit for the damage on the same day we checked out, which we really appreciated. The only downside was that the weather was exceptionally hot during our stay, and there was no air conditioning. However, that's understandable, as temperatures above 30°C are relatively uncommon in London. Overall, we had a great experience and would happily stay here again.

Great location, near LYC airport and had shops nearby. Host was attentive and avaliable when needed.

The location of the property was ideal for the tones of beauty event that was hosted at the excel. Location i can't complain about.

Firstly. Parking. Was told by the host I could park at the property from 10am (we requested a 9 or 10am check in which he couldn't honour). He did say we could park there from our arrival though, which at first I thought was a very kind gesture as parking around london can be scarce and or very expensive. What he failed to mention was that you can't park at the front of the property (I received a parking ticket) and the allocated parking for the no.6 property we stayed in someones was already parked in and overnight, once we were made aware parking was at the rear of the propert on a separate small car park. No information was provided of this upon the booking or included in the description. Secondly within the app the code for key safe did not send clearly so had we were unable to get In and stood at the front door for 20/30 mins until the code was sent on a different email. The the sockets in the property tripped out at 3am, randomly. I solved this the morning after by flicking the switch back up in the electric box at the bottom of the stairs. Thankfully im 6'2 but anyone under 6 foot probably would have struggled to reach the box. Host offered to pay for half for the parking ticket (I thought he should have paid it in its entirety). He then sent £10 less than what we agreed. Needs improving.

The apartment was cosy, clean, and exactly as described. It was comfortable for our stay, and the check-in process was straightforward. We had a pleasant stay overall.

All rooms were very tidy and came with water and ice lollies in the fridge which was a good touch in the heat

Communication wasn't the best and had no power overnight

Great price and location was perfect for our group. The car parking space with the booking was a great benefit a well. The host was easy to contact and the house suited perfectly for our group of 3.

Wir haben sehr kurzfristig buchen müssen, daher hat es ca. 1h gedauert, bis alles bestätigt war. Der Ansprechpartner Abbe war etwas überrascht, aber sehr freundlich.

Der Schlüssel ist in einem elektronischen Fach für das es einen Zahlencode braucht. Der Code wurde mir erst auf Nachfrage übermittelt und die Bedienung der Schlüsselbox war, obwohl unkompliziert, leider nicht beschrieben.

Le calme et la propreté

What a fab little gem! We stayed here for the weekend as we where working at London card show - owner was very kind in letting us use the parking space before check in time (we had an early start). This property was spotless, comfortable and the area was quite. Also a pleasant 20min walk to the Excel, just around the corner from a cheeky shortcut that lead to an overpass for pedestrians. Will definitely try and book again for next time we are that way. Thank you so much!

miscommunication over number of people staying perhaps as we only had bedding for two and there were four of us. two kids weren't worried for a short night's stay though. we arrived so late though, and had had an issue over the deposit - our fault, that we just made do.

Nice modern decor, safe space for children. Biscuits and water were left which we appreciated! The property was very clean and comfortable.

No spare sheets or blanket for the sofa bed.

It was very good location for Excel London. 10min walk and 2 min tube ride. Abbe is a reliable host. The apartment is cozy, warm and equipped with everything we needed. It's very male bachelor style apartment, we still loved it.

We were mentally prepared not to expect Japanese level cleanliness, so we were fine.

The inside of the property was really nice. Clean, tidy, and tastefully decorated. It’s really nice, but not stunning.

The outside of the property needs some attention. Entrance was overgrown, with litter on grass area generally untidy. Doesn’t give a great 1st impression.

Very comfortable and short uber ride to ExCell and nearby metro.

The stairs are quite steep. Not great if you have big heavy suitcases. Otherwise no problem.

The location was perfect. I drove so parking was important to me. There was free parking right outside property which was amazing. The house was so clean and modern. I wanted somewhere to get away while on my work break and it was perfect. I would book again!

It was an excellent and very quiet location, and the beds were very comfy.

The apartment was very cold, it would have been improved by having the heating on for a few hours before we arrived, but we just put the storage heaters on as soon as we arrived.

It was a beautiful location, very quiet, safe and right next to a lovely park. We stayed here as we were attending a two day conference at the London ExCeL so it was a perfect 20minute walk or 7min taxi to the conference centre. Very clean, great size and private entrance also. Host was very contactable and kept you in the loop when required.

The sofa-bed was quite hard, but cannot detract from the property as it is what you would expect from a sofa-bed!

The position of the house is comfortable for Excel, but that's it. There is no supermarket (or market), no restaurant that you can reach by foot. The house is beautiful but be aware you will need an uber or a bus to buy everything. That's our fault actually, since we could have look for services around before booking. For this reason, the price for this house is higher than it should, in my opinion. In addition, there is a 250 pound deposit to pay, and good luck in having it back. I had to stay behind it for more than a week, going on insisting, calling the customer service. It's a pity, since the host was available at first, but then disappeared

Poor communication, pin to key box wasn’t supplied, request for security deposit of £250 for one night stay… to go to an unknown or unverified account. Booking.com couldn’t make contact with the host to resolve so we had to book another hotel and the host has refused to refund We received a message 4am in the morning after the room had been cancelled apologising they were out of the country and to try contacting them via WhatsApp Be very wary of this host! I would suggest finding somewhere else - this is the first bad experience we have had with booking.com and unless we get a resolution we will be taking our custom elsewhere

Clean and well looked after. Having a subtle fragrance in the property is a nice touch. Excellent shower and good facilities

My only advice is to put a couple of trays in the kitchen as my guess is most people will eat while watching tv and the lounge table isnt a dining table

The location was great. The flat was very clean and tidy. It had all the amenities required.

We had issues with parking as there was limited parking outside the flat and neighbours were not happy about us parking immediately outside.

The problem I encountered had nothing to do with the property or the owner, but rather with Booking.com. This location was suggested after my previous booking was canceled. After spending two hours on the phone with Booking.com support, I ended up choosing this place. When I arrived, I discovered there was a £250 damage deposit required, payable via bank transfer, which I couldn't do. As a result, we had to leave and lost the entire fee. Additionally, we had to find alternative accommodations on our own. When we requested a full refund from Booking.com, they claimed it was mentioned in the Important Information section. This was the first time I encountered such a deposit payment method (bank transfer instead of credit cards). Keep in mind that every time you have to contact Booking.com support team by phone, there is a 20min of waiting time.

The blinds weren't great. Sometimes, they rolled back up on an angle, and they didn't block out the sun in the morning. This is just preference.

The property was perfect, everything that I needed for my stay was easily accessible. All details and information was presented in a easy access picture.

nice and clean accommodation that is less than 10 minutes from the train (DLR). The trip to the center takes about 20 minutes, the docks 10. It is a low brick house in a green area. The kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Communication with the owner is fast and pleasant. We spent 4 days with our family and we were very satisfied. We would love to come back sometime.

Everything was perfect

This flat is absolutely stunning. Really comfortable, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The location was really handy. Basically you cannot fault it and I will be staying again and recommending it to everyone I know.

You are not that far from London City Airport, so you hear the airplanes take of or land, luckely they don't fligh at night. When you are a bit less mobile, the entrance might by a bit tricky for you, and its also upstairs.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb! The place was immaculately clean, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Its proximity to transportation. Moreover, the owner provided exceptional customer service, ensuring that my stay was comfortable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay!"
