Central location with spacious bright room and large bathroom with daily housekeeping. Excellent breakfast every morning that went from 7:30am-11:30am with wide range of dining selections. Staff were incredibly helpful and available at all times. Proper front desk service, loved the old school keys that had to be left at the front desk every time we left so they could monitor who was coming and going.

The pool was very disappointing, it was much smaller than expected and no where to really sit around it. Having access to a rooftop pool was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel and it felt difficult to use. Also a bit tricky to access taxis because the hotel is literally on a Main Street but there was a taxi stand nearby.

Location, pool on rooftop, good breakfast, comfortable beds, nice towels & staff extremely helpful.

Room was a bit tired, door difficult to get in, sink in bathroom didn't drain properly & cups for coffee instead if paper cups would be preferable.

O hotel é antigo e os serviços não correspondem a um hotel ****S, nomeadamente: 1 - Pequeno almoço pouco variado e de baixa qualidade. Os ovos mexidos eram intragáveis. 2 - O nosso quarto não foi arrumado num dos dias!!! Questionámos o porquê e ninguém nos soube explicar nem resolveram a situação. 3 - Pedimos uma cama de casal, o que não foi satisfeito. Tivemos 2 camas separadas. 4 - Pedimos check-in às 13:00, o que não foi satisfeito. Só podemos entrar às 15:00. 5 - O corredor do hotel, durante a manhã, cheira a esgotos. É insuportável! 6 - Pelo acima descrito, com um preço de ~1.200€ para 4 noites, a relação preço / qualidade é muito baixa.

Un hotel cu istorie, intr-o locatie excelenta! Multumiri in special Gabrielei de la receptie, care a fost foarte prietenoasa si ne-a ajutat cu multe sfaturi utile legate de Barcelona. Vom reveni cu drag.

O check-in foi muito antecipado. Recepção muito surpreendente. Há um Hall para descanso, com agua, banheiro e local para trocar de roupa. Localização muito central. Quarto muito bonito, bem decorado. Oferecem amenities. Tudo muito caprichado. Excepcional. É um lugar para voltar muitas vezes. Obrigada.

The staff were amazing! Very kind and went above and beyond. The last day they arranged to open the rooftop a little early so we could have one last morning look at the Barcelona skyline before we have to go to the airport.

It is a beautiful hotel is a great location. We had 5 rooms for our group. All the rooms varied in size. Some were remodeled and some weren’t. The remodeled rooms are much nicer. Check in took a long time and became a bit frustrating for us since we had somewhere to be. Otherwise everything was perfect.

They say the pool is open until 10 but they make you leave at 9:30

どこに行くにも便利で立地はよかった。 屋上のプールは狭いが、混雑もせず、サグラダファミリアも見える点。

室内にあるドアの建て付けが悪いのか、最後まで閉まらなかった点。 少し暑く感じる時がありエアコンの温度を下げたりしたが、変わらなかった点。

soundproofed, and we could clearly hear loud parties from other guests. We contacted reception, but they were unable to resolve the issue, which made our stay very uncomfortable. There was also construction work taking place at the hotel, and the drilling noise was extremely loud due to the poor soundproofing. We stayed for three days, and when we requested bottled water, we were told that complimentary water is only provided on the first day, which I found unreasonable. Additionally, when I tried to discuss these concerns with the receptionist, I did not feel that I was given a proper opportunity to speak or explain the issues. Overall, despite the good location, the noise and the way our concerns were handled made the stay unpleasant

La posizione, la gentilezza e disponibilità del personale al check-in ed al check-out e del personale ai piani, la piccola ma accogliente piscina all'ultimo piano. La colazione favolosa.

Il personale del bar della piscina, piuttosto scorbutico e poco professionale. Le griglie dell'aria accondizionata erano piene di polvere e mio marito, che soffre di allergia, ha trascorso una brutta nottata di continui starnuti. Manca il bidet, che poteva essere stato inserito al posto del doppio lavandino.

As ruas adjacentes estão minadas por indivíduos do norte de África, que efetuam roubos por esticão, tendo eu sido alvo de roubo por esticão ao pé do parque de estacionamento com protocolo, sentimos muita insegurança nas ruas, existe falta de policiamento das ruas em Barcelona, especialmente onde existe mais turismo.

Sehr schönes Hotel. Optimale Lage an der Metrostation und nahe der Altstadt. Freundliches und super hilfsbereites Personal. Wir möchen uns noch einmal bei Jose-Luis von der Rezeption für seine Hilfe und Tipps bedanken. Frühstück war sehr fein.

Der Pool am Dach könnte grösser sein, war aber trotzdem sehr entspannend nach einem langen Tag.

Staff were super helpful, the rooms were always cleaned to an impeccable standard each day, and the pool and bikini bar were a highlight. It was really close to transport and walkable to a lot of the main sights.

Cool med ett anrikt och stolt hotell mitt i city med välbevarad inredning och det är nära till mycket! Väldigt trevlig takterrass med en enormt fin utsikt över staden! Väldigt bra, varierad och vällagad frukostbuffé med fantastisk ratatouille och äggröra, fräsch frukt och juice! Alert och trevlig personal!

…men det är alldeles för långt till stranden. Ingen balkong.

The only thing we were not particularly impressed with was the breakfast. The selection was quite limited, and around 50% of the options were bread and pastries. It would be great to have a wider variety of hot dishes, vegetables, fruits, and other options

The staff are great, like a big family. The chemistry between them is wonderful and marriages and kids seem inevitable. The shared areas are rather grand and glorious. The rooftop pool and bar is less than perfect in many ways, but even so, it's a lovely place with an amazing view. The location is wonderful. Just round the corner from Placa de Catalonia - can't really get much better than that.

There are two types of rooms - the old ones with key or the new ones with cards. Everyone online grumbled about the old ones so we chose new ones. The decor is functional but uninspiring. Low ceilings, cheap furniture. A bit Mercure. Our room had a window which looked out onto a light well. Yes technically it's a window but only just so. Couldn't see the sky and at nigh it was lit up so who knows if it even goes out. The staff are great but they are kids. They do what they think appropriate rather than what they should do. The pool was milky rather than clear. There was a band aid stuck on the side which was still there three days later when we left. No one ever cleared up the left over glasses or towels. When there was a power cut there were no managers there to oversee. Again just kids left to fend for themselves. They did their best but frankly they were out of their depth. And frankly the lack of management is a scandal. What on earth are they paid for? High time for a little reshuffle.

The room was comfortable and the staff were great. The breakfast is delicious. I'd highly recommend making sure you get a package with the breakfast included. It's really close to public transportation and to major sites. A lot of things are within walking distance. This is an excellent place to stay. All the positive comments that I read before choosing this hotel were right on point.

- El hotel se encuentra en un punto estratégico tanto para llegar como para planificar distintas visitas a las diferentes zonas, por su cercanía y por la presencia de paradas convenientes inmediatas de metro, bus y aerobus: andando a 10 minutos de la catedral, en bus a 10 minutos de la Sagrada Familia, en bus a 15 minutos de Montjuic, a Sants en bus en 20 minutos. La salida de metro está al lado, en el paseo central de la calle de Corts; hay que tener cuidado porque suele haber 3-4 individuos merodeando para hurtar. El resto de los accesos, la zona de la llegada de buses, etc, es totalmente segura. En general, la zona -Paseo de Gracia, Eixample, Universidad- es totalmente fiable y se puede ir tranquilo. - Tiene adyacente la línea de restaurantes de la Rambla Catalunya. Ciutat Condal es el más solicitado y merece la pena esperar un poco cuando hay lista de espera: son muy rápidos y hay constante recambio. Aunque parezcan turísticos, los locales son lugares que frecuentan los barceloneses, por rapidez, calidad y precio. - Habitación muy amplia, con dos duchas, papeleras, etc. Limpieza impecable; si se deja la marca en la puerta, se hace la habitación rápido. No se aprecia ruido. - Personal muy amable y cercano en todas las secciones: limpieza, recepción, bar y desayuno. - El buffet es completo y tiene un horario extendido de 7:30 a 11h todos los días. No hay aglomeración, salón grande. El personal no agobia ni interviene, no está continuamente llevándose platos vacíos como en otros sitios. El café se hace en máquina normal o de cápsula; hay máquina de leche caliente aparte. El fiambre y la comida caliente tiene buena calidad. Dispone de varios tipos de aceite de oliva virgen. Fruta fresca variada y cortada. - El bar forma planta con la recepción. No permite hacer una comida completa, pero se puede merendar. Hay restaurante adyacente, especializado en marisco y platos sofisticados. - En la azotea, se pueden apreciar vistas panorámicas - En resumen, muy buena elección.

Everything! Wonderful hotel and the best location we could have asked for

Unfortunately, apart from the location and the rooftop pool, I did not find many positive aspects of this hotel. I would definitely not choose this hotel again for my next stay in Barcelona. In my opinion, the price is far too high for the quality offered. The rooms are in need of renovation, the walls and doors are poorly soundproofed, so you can hear almost everything from the surrounding rooms and corridors. Our room was on the 9th floor, but unfortunately there was no view at all. The room was also very noisy, with a constant sound coming from what seemed to be some kind of generator or ventilation system. However, the worst problem was the terrible smell in the room. We reported it to the hotel, and they brought a machine that was supposedly meant to eliminate the smell, but unfortunately it made no difference. Every time we entered the room, there was a very strong and unpleasant smell. Even my child noticed it and complained about it. What was particularly disappointing was that, during check-in, another guest was already reporting exactly the same problem and asking to change rooms. She was told that unfortunately there was no possibility of changing the room. This made us feel that the problem was known to the hotel but was not being properly addressed. Another issue was the shower. The water was cold when we first turned it on, and we had to wait around five minutes before the water finally became warm. I very rarely leave reviews, but I know how important they can be when choosing a hotel. I chose this property largely because of the many very positive reviews, so I honestly did not expect this experience. Perhaps we were simply unlucky, but I believe these issues are important to mention so that future guests can make a more informed decision. The location is definitely a plus, and the rooftop pool is nice, but in my opinion these advantages do not justify the price.

Did not get the room booked, we were supposed to have had a terrace and only had a very tight balcony. Noisy Airconditioner, cut in and out all night. Unable to temperature control as it is one system throughout the hotel. We were advised by staff that the tap water dId not taste good however in spite of the fact that it was very hot, only one bottle of water per person was provided free of charge for the entire stay. Our room cost approximately $600 AUD a night. Could have had earlier breakfast time; 6.30am instead of 7.30 as most guests were already waiting for the breakfast room to be open. The property is a little pedantic and not easily willing to help.

Das Außengerät der Klimaanlage war nachts trotz geschlossenem Fenster sehr laut, wodurch der Schlaf gestört wurde. Außerdem kam aufgrund der Lage des Zimmers kaum Tageslicht hinein. Insgesamt war der Aufenthalt deshalb weniger angenehm als erwartet.

Everything. The hotel itself is just beautiful. The rooms were clean, nicely styled and set up and the staff were just amazing. We felt like family by the end of our stay. The location is so central - I couldn’t believe we got so lucky.

Struttura ottima, posizione eccellente ma fate attenzione al fatto che l’Hotel è in fase di ristrutturazione pertanto chiedete il piano nuovo. I vecchi piani come il nostro sono un tre stelle anni 70, nonostante le foto siano della nuova struttura. Non ci hanno potuto cambiare stanza perché i piani nuovi erano tutti pieni (hanno detto).
