There was honestly not one bad thing I could say about this hotel. The team were so welcoming, friendly and attentive. Our room felt like a home away from home. Very clean, spacious and comfortable. The "cowboy" theme was modern and quirky but not OTT. The facilities in the room were great. Had everything we needed so we could pack light. The location is fantastic. The staff were more than happy to share their knowledge about the history behind the building and it's surroundings. The food was exceptional, especially breakfast which is served until 12pm!!! Which is also the checkout time, so we had a very relaxing morning before our journey home. Excellent price too. Great value for money!!

Our room was facing a busy road so we could hear a bit of traffic noise BUT this wasn't a problem for us and it didnt interfere with us getting a good restful sleep.

Great location if you're visiting a Pantiles restaurant or to watch performers on the lovely Bandstand as it's about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The staff were so very friendly and welcoming from the moment we sat foot on the premises, nothing was too much trouble. Easy and free car parking is always welcome and this hotel doesn't disappoint here either. Similarly, the generous and very tasty breakfast was part of our package too. The room was neat, clean and well appointed with a mini bar that included Wagon Wheels, something I'd not seen for decades. I should add that the Cowboy/Western theme throughout the hotel is tastefully done, we particularly liked the saddle seats at the bar!

Everything! Great place to stay, would absolutely stay again as well. The details and research on native american tribes and decor I absolutely loved too. Places like these tend to hold more focus on cowboys rather than natives usually so this was something that made it even more special for me. The staff were all absolutely lovely, very kind and generous too, get great value for your money here. Only criticism would be about the power cut that occurred during our stay (which wasnt their fault) but could do with having maybe a mobile phone on divert to the night staff as we were a little worried for those few hours we were in the dark but I guess sh** happens! Foods great, bars cool as hell too 🙌🏼. Thanks so much guys, might be my go to hotel when I have to stay in Kent from now on 🫡

Personal ist super - freundlich, kompetent, zuvorkommend, ... Essen ist sehr gut und reichlich .. und hat eine tolle Auswahl .. absolut empfehlenswert Zimmer sind funktional, praktisch und tadellos sauber .. am WE durch die Lage über dem Restaurant jedoch sicher nicht ganz leise / ruhig - unter der Woche jedoch absolut in Ordnung und zu empfehlen Das Western-Konzept wird bis ins Detail durchgehalten und gelebt ... Respekt :-) Parkplätze sind auf hoteleigenem Parkplatz ausreichend vorhanden ... super !!

Die Zimmer könnten etwas größer sein .. falls man etwas trocknen lassen muss, ist das eher eingeschränkt möglich ..

We liked it's quirkiness ( it's cowboy decor), it had a nice ambiance and a good restaurant on site. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

The only negative were the pillows were cheap and nasty.

Lots of interesting things to look at, western themed, really friendly staff, the room was very well decorated and lovely furniture, very clean and comfortable, great location for the spa valley railway, it’s just over the road

The Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss, the tv was through Wi-Fi and it kept losing connection which was a bit of a pain when in the middle of watching a program

Friendly staff, the whole vibe of the hotel is funny and not something I’ve seen before. The room was clean, and I liked the complimentary tea, coffee and cold water in the room. There are decent products in the bathroom too. A real plus that the included breakfast is a variety of proper cooked options

The bed wasn’t particularly comfy, but fine for one night. The lamps were also a bit flickery in my room

Loved the location, the style of the place is fun, staff without exception were brilliant. Room and bathroom were nice. Service very quick, especially at breakfast.

The room was comfortable (a teeny bit small).except for during hot weather it felt rather hot, even with an electric fan available. This is the only reason for not a perfect score. [Cree Room]

The main member of staff was very rude as soon as we arrived. The other staff were pleasant but she had already put us off with her attitude. The bed was very uncomfortable. No air con.

Location was convenient. The staff member who checked me in was helpful and friendly. Breakfast was very nice.

No air-conditioning, curtains did not close properly letting light in. I arrived early so left my suitcase downstairs and was told it would be put into my room. It was not soni phoned reception and was told by the person who answered she was the only one non duty so could not help me. I went to get it myself but was annoyed as I have a sore leg so it was not easy to get upstairs.

The location near the Pantiles is excellent. The food was good, especially the rancher breakfast. The staff were very nice. Comfortable bed.

Shame it doesn’t have AC, or a big ceiling fan. The music from the bar/ restaurant does carry into the rooms, especially the Friday night live music, although it ends by 11pm, so it’s not the end of the world. An early check in option would be nice.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel, ruime kamers dit het oude treinstation, goede douche, fijne bedden. Het ontbijt was echt Amerikaan, dus veel en vet! Uitstekende locatie, dichtbij alles wat Royal Tunbridge Wells en Kent te bieden heeft.

Tja, ook al hou je van countryrock, dat gaat vervelen als het de hele dag door wordt gedraaid. Er is een airco dus aan de achterkant van het hotel is het erg warm en voor is het soms erg druk op de weg.

The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The food was great, really good portions. Cold drinks were in an ice cold glass. It has a lovely vibe about the place. Plus it's only a two minute walk to the Spa Valley Railway and a leisurely 15 minutes walk to the Pantiles.

We stayed during a heat wave and there was only a fan in the bedroom which only circulated the already hot air.

Excellent staff. They gave a warm welcome and were helpful. The room was very clean and spacious. A great location near to the Pantiles. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

The shower head needed a clean. The hotel is on a roundabout so there was road noise. You can also hear the music from the bar until 11pm, also this didnt bother us.

As soon as we arrived we were met by a lovely friendly young woman who checked us in, sadly cant remember her name. Room and breakfasts where great but most of all every staff member we came across where smiling, very attentive and couldn't do enough for us . Didn't quite know what to expect as it's a themed hotel but was pleasantly surprised

The location for this hotel was ideal . The room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was of a high standard and the staff were very friendly.

The service was excellent, quirky setting with Cowboy theme was Novel ,made me smile. Food very good. Bedrooms very quiet and comfortable.

The constant music got a bit OTT, ok in the evening but during breakfast was not necessary.

The heated towel rail in my bathroom would not turn off and I asked the staff to turn it off but they couldn't. I stayed during a heat wave so it was 35 degrees with a heated towel rail adding to it!

We stayed in 35 degree heat and there wasnt any AC only a small fan. This only happens once or twice a year so its not a big deal.

Das Westernhotel zieht konsequent sein Motto durch, auch die Zimmer sind thematisch angepasst, dabei geräumig und sauber. Ich hatte ein Doppelzimmer zur Einzelnutzung. Das Badezimmer war für mich ebenfalls gut in der Größe, die Dusche hatte guten Wasserdruck. Frühstück gab es im Restaurant a la carte und war ebenfalls gut. Einmal habe ich dort auch gegessen, als Hotelgast erhält man einen Discount. Direkt neben dem Hotel ist ein großer Sainsbury's. Mein Zimmer hatte Blick auf den Parkplatz, dadurch war es nachts ruhig. Die Lage ist zentral.

Das offene WLan ist nicht sehr stabil, ständig musste ich mich neu anmelden (ohne Passwortschutz).

Great location and price, comfortable room, brilliant big breakfast served until 12pm (and also a generous checkout time of 12pm).

The Wi-Fi was intermittent (my room was at the end of the corridor). Also the taps needed to be run for quite a long time in order to run hot/cold as needed.

With the exception of the manager ALL the staff were very friendly and helpful. Location was ideal to get around on foot or by car.

The manager whose attitude was very unfriendly and her very unnecessary reprimanding of staff in public. This was done with attitude, and if that is how she treats them then I am surprised they stay. Very poor behaviour and leadership.

The room was very clean. Everything was of a good standard. The bed was very comfortable. The room was quirky but stylish witha cowboy theme. The shower was efficent. We are definitely planning on coming back.

stair carpet was badly marked and stained. if not eating in the evening there was nowhere comfortable to sit and read. it was rather dark in the communal places. Breakfast was mediocre.

Room was unbearably stuffy in the recent hot weather. There was a fan but it didn't help much. Couldn't open bathroom window. Bedroom window opened only a small amount (possibly for safety). No decaff coffee available. No lift. Bed is a double and not room for a bigger one. The mattress could be better.

Missed out on breakfast on the Saturday as we had to leave early to return hired car to Enterprise Canterbury. Went down at 8.00am to find doors locked, back to room to find out breakfasts at weekend start at 9.00am.

The room was lovely. Bed very comfortable.

There was not a real bar area to sit in the evening as it is mainly a restaurant. On top of that the drinks on tap had broken so we had no choice to pay and go somewhere else for the evening
