The whole facility is unmanned. When I checked in the key was not inside the passcode key holder. I messaged the owner and the owner only provided robotic, generic response not specific to my case. It took me long searching through the reception counter to locate the key hidden away. The check in experience was a mess! If you left your key inside the room, you will be helpless.

Reviewed Sep 10, 2026La chambre est belle et très bien située. Le parc d’Ueno est à deux pas, le métro est juste en face et il y a plein d’autres choses à proximité. La télévision avec YouTube et Netflix déjà installés est également un vrai plus ! L’hôtel répond également très rapidement aux messages, ce qui est super appréciable.
Pas de chaussons, et on rentre donc avec nos chaussures sur la moquette. La douche n’est pas très pratique : même s’il y a une porte en verre, il n’y a aucune séparation au sol, donc l’eau se retrouve partout dans la salle de bain. Une prise est également à moitié démontée. Et surtout, une forte odeur d’humidité dans la chambre, impossible d’aérer car la fenêtre est fermée.

Reviewed Sep 3, 2026Just arriving the room, we found a huge cockroach in the bed area and the shower with very poor cleanning conditions. There is no staff in reception, hence requested a new room via chat. Said there was no availability so we were forced to change hotel. A week has passed and no reply regarding my reimbursement! The hotel is not making responsible of their hygiene conditions. Not recommended at all.

歯ブラシなどのアメニティがない。 チェックインの時間が遅い。(掃除が早く終われば大丈夫) 無人フロントなため、荷物を預ける場所はあっても放置する形になってしまう。主にスーツケース用だから鞄は置きにくい。

Reviewed Aug 31, 2026Location is the only good thing about this place, which you can not call a hotel. Ueno park saved us.
This is not a hotel, there are no services, no staff, no security as the main doors are open 24/7. The room was big enough, but poorly mantained and the biggest problem was humidity of the bathroom. Bathroom was with no AC, wet and mouldy, with terrible smell. We stayed facing towards the street, traffic was not a problem, the problem were bars in the neighbourhood and their loud drunk guests. Overall, it is a budget option, but not comfortable and dirty.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026La ubicación es perfecta. Estaba aceptablemente limpio. Un poco más pequeño de lo normal tal vez para Tokio, pero para pocas noches está bien.
La puerta del baño estaba rota, tenía el hueco de lo que fue la cerradura o pasador. A parte no había colgadores para las toallas en el baño, que parecían haberse caído y no los habían sustituido. No poder entrar hasta las 16h y no poder dejar las maletas en el alojamiento es un poco latoso, pero lo comprendo. Solo ténganlo en cuenta, aunque en frente, cruzando el paso de peatones, está una entrada a la estación y hay taquillas allí, pero siendo Ueno tienes que estar rápido y dejarlas temprano o no encontrarás sitio donde dejar maletas grandes, por ejemplo.

Reviewed Aug 23, 2026We got here and immediately was turned off how they had an open door the the public with no receptionist or security, we usually feel safe around all Japan, but we got there late and there was 2 people passed out on the ground in front of the hotel. Once you walk into the room, it looks nothing like the photos, the photos showed that we get room around the bed for luggage and walking, in reality the bed is up against the wall on 3 sides of the bed, and then you have a small little side to get on and off and there is one small walkway for luggage and changing. AND WE BOUGHT THE BIGGEST ROOM THEY HAD!!! We ultimately was forced to not even stay for more than 10 minutes and we left. The key system was with old physical keys instead of rfid keys as well. 0/10 and we have been traveling to lots of different budget hotel options.

Nous avons loué 2 chambres pour la famille et n'étions pas au même étage: jai oublié de le préciser dans ma réservation.

Reviewed Aug 20, 2026Posizione ottima, accanto al parco di Ueno. Akihabara, nezu, asakusa raggiungibili a pochissima distanza. A pochi metri dalla fermata Ueno, comoda anche per l'accesso all'aeroporto di Narita. È stato possibile lasciare i bagagli nella mattinata del giorno della partenza.
La stanza è molto piccola, se si ha necessità di spazio potrebbe essere scomoda.

Reviewed Aug 6, 2026Очень хороший, чистый отель. Отличный персонал всегда отвечают на сообщения и всегда помогают. На каждом этаже есть бесплатная стиральная машина и сушилка. Расположение очень удобное. Близко к метро и шинкансэну.
Был неприятный запах из кондиционера, но мы почти не пользовались кондиционером, поэтому для нас это была не проблема и мы не стали просить исправить. Я думаю, если бы мы сказали персоналу, то всё исправили бы быстро

The hotel is just in front of the subway entrance which is very convenient and very near from ueno station for trains. Reviewed Jul 26, 2026What I liked the most is the location. It is right next to Ueno Park and Ueno station. The communication with the property was really efficient in order to do your self check-in.
I don't know if it affects all rooms, but the one I got was on the ground floor and at night you could hear and feel (a little bit) music that came from what I think was a night club. I put some earplugs and I was actually fine. If you are sensitive with noise, you might need to consider that.

The location was great and close to public transport. The area also has a lot of tourist activities such as art exhibitions, local parks, and a large outdoor food market.
The mattress suddenly shifts after moving a little on it. It was a bit annoying to constantly pushed the mattress back into its place.

Zepsuta klimatyzacja w hotelu, prawdopodobnie niewymianiany filtr. Z klimatyzacji śmierdziało prawdopodobnie grzybem przez co szybko ją wyłączyłem. A bez klimatyzacji było bardzo duszno w pokoju, przez co spanie w takim pomieszczeniu było wielkim dyskomfortem.

The Lift feels a bit dangerous as it almost smashed my baggage. It looks like it is not having enough sensors to detect objects in the door… and the part where you put out a magnet on the door that you need fresh towels didn’t worked.

我看过别的review我自己也有做准备，不过去到我还能接受，其实都是小问题对我而言，厕所如果不用手握发洒，整体上那个水不会怎样跑到上厕所的地方，因为他那个排水的斜度还是有的不过还是需要改一点点，如果能的话冲凉和厕所的地方分两层比如厕所的地方高个2cm就够了这样冲凉洗澡的时候那个水不会一直跑去厕所的地方，也比较冲凉不用担心漏过去。

使用後のバスタオルをかけるフックがあると良かった。 電気ポットがあったので、紙コップかマグカップがあると良かった。
