Absolutely stunning, the private pool was amazing, the rooms were very large and the bathrooms were very large too. The net around the bed meant we didn’t get bitten by mosquitoes. There was a kitchen in the garden where we could order our own food to the hotel and eat it there. The bed was extremely large and comfortable. The siblings were great too. The property provides free breakfast brought to your too every morning whenever you like from the menu. The food is delicious and we would really recommend the Indonesian breakfast options or the floating breakfast for novelty. The location is very very peaceful and beneficial with a few local restaurants. We would get grab bikes into central ubud which would take around 10 minutes which was great for us. The family who hosts your stay are amazing and very friendly. There is a laundry next door where you can get your laundry done for 25k per kilo and it’s beautifully pressed and folded for you. The facilities have so much charm and made for a perfect stay in ubud. I have already recommended anyone I know who is coming to Bali stays here!!

I liked the welcome drink, behaviour and welcoming nature of staff and the location of property. It was a soulful and lovely stay for us couples from India. The breakfast too was quite amazing, the lady owner also helped us in renting scooter.

That we could stay only for 02 days, we should have extended our stay in this abode.

Το μόνο πρόβλημα είναι ότι στην γειτονιά υπάρχουν κόκορες οι οποίοι από την στιγμή που ξημερώνει μέχρι το βράδυ δεν σταματούν.

Ho soggiornato qui per 12 notti e posso dire con assoluta sincerità che è uno di quei posti che mi è rimasto nel cuore. ❤️ La camera è ancora più bella di quanto si vede nelle foto: spaziosa, luminosa, piena di vetrate e con un bagno enorme che sembra quello di un resort. La vasca è meravigliosa per concedersi un bagno rilassante e, cosa non così scontata a Bali, c’è anche l’acqua calda. La colazione è inclusa, buonissima e viene servita direttamente sul proprio terrazzo privato, ogni mattina è un piccolo momento di coccola. La pulizia è impeccabile e ogni giorno chiedono con molta gentilezza se si desidera far pulire la stanza. C’è anche un servizio di lavanderia, tutto viene restituito velocemente e perfettamente piegato, pulito e super profumato, a un prezzo davvero economico. Ma ciò che mi ha conquistata più di tutto sono state Ayu e la sua famiglia. Ayu è una delle persone più dolci e squisite che abbia incontrato durante il mio viaggio a Bali. Mi sono sentita davvero accolta e coccolata, anche grazie alla loro dolcissima cagnolina. La struttura si trova in un contesto familiare e autentico, dove c’è anche il loro tempio privato. Ogni mattina è bellissimo vedere il momento della preghiera, con i fiori e l’incenso che profuma tutta l’area. È un’atmosfera davvero speciale e autentica balinese. La posizione è tra Ubud e Tegallalang, immersa nella natura e lontana dal caos. I paesaggi durante il tragitto in motorino sono spettacolari, sembrava davvero di essere in paradiso. Per me è molto difficile parlare così di un posto, ma Madawa Suite mi è entrato davvero nel cuore. Tanto che, verso la fine del mio viaggio, ho deciso di tornare per altre 3 notti. Non posso che raccomandarlo a tutti e spero davvero di poterci tornare in futuro! ❤️

I loved everything about it. The room is very beautiful and spacious, just like the bathroom! It was amazing. All very kept and cleaned. Staff is also wonderful and very kind. Loved the pancakes!

I loved everything, but if I can give you advice, I would spray something in the air conditioner because it doesn’t smell good. There’s a bad smell coming from it and I think it needs to be cleaned or something. Also, I suggest people to order their breakfast the day before for the day after, as you may wait a long time if you order it the same morning. And last thing, there should be a drying rack for every room, in case anyone wants to wash some clothes. This is something that I missed :(

We absolutely loved our stay here at Madawa Suites. The Villa we stayed exceeded our expectations. It was absolutely amazing & spotless. Stunning room as pictured and bathroom, with quality sheets, quiet local area. Beautiful view to temple next door. Private fridge, and patio area with small garden. Balinese family were delightful, and took me to the festival with them. I had a delightful and restful 2 weeks there.

Kaldığımız villa çok güzeldi. Kendi sonsuzluk havuzu vardı. Yatak çok rahattı. Kahvaltı iyiydi. Tv büyük, netflix ve benzeri uygulamalar vardı. Mutfak bahçede ve büyüktü. Çalışanlar çok ilgiliydi. Motoru buradan kiralayabiliyorsunuz. İsterseniz özel şöför ayarlıyorlar.

In my case, I was traveling, looking to disconnect, and discover beautiful places in Bali — and this accommodation was perfect. Ayu helped me with the tours and was very kind. The room was comfortable. For breakfast, you simply send a message via WhatsApp, as is common in most places in Ubud, and it is delivered directly to your room.

My partner and I stayed here for four nights. The bed was very comfortable, and the hosts were lovely and welcoming throughout our stay.

Unfortunately, there were some cleanliness issues that detracted from the experience. The coffee cups provided in our room were dusty and appeared unclean, and the cutlery and crockery served with breakfast each morning often felt greasy or had not been cleaned thoroughly. We also noticed that the shower floor, which is made up of loose stones, had a build-up of grime between the rocks and an unpleasant odour. With a bit more attention to cleaning and maintenance, this could be a much more enjoyable place to stay.

Amazing stay at The Madawa Suites! The room was perfect and exactly as pictured. Ayu was helpful and lovely and I was able to book an extra night very easily, I would have booked more if it were an option. The breakfast included was delicious, I don’t normally eat pancakes but I could eat them everyday 😍 along with scrambled egg on toast and fresh juice - perfect start to the morning. I was also able to rent a scooter through Ayu which was convenient because you are a little far from town (about 15 minute bike). The bed was REALLY comfortable, the most comfortable at the 6 places I have stayed while I’ve been in Bali this time!! I would definitely stay here again. Just for people that might have trouble sleeping there are roosters that start crowing quite early in the morning, and a lot of light can come through the bathroom glass door if you are sensitive to the light.

Thank you so much for such a beautiful and memorable stay. The room was spotless, peaceful, and had the most incredible view. Waking up to the sounds of daily life and witnessing the morning blessings at the temple felt truly special and grounding. What made the experience even more meaningful was being able to see and feel the warmth of your family life — full of joy, kindness, and connection, even with your lovely pets. It gave a rare and genuine glimpse into Balinese life, which I will always cherish. The surrounding neighbours were also incredibly kind and welcoming, including the children, which made everything feel even more heartfelt and authentic. Being in the middle of nature, surrounded by such beauty, and being able to see the stars at night made both the days and evenings equally magical. I absolutely loved my stay and would be so happy to return again. Thank you for your kindness and for sharing such a special place.

De mensen zijn ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. Wij waren met ons dochtertje en ze waren altijd beschikbaar voor een praatje, of om met de dieren of hun kindjes te spelen. Daarnaast waren de bananen pannenkoeken de lekkerste die we op hebben op Bali! De kamer was schoon en groot, echt uitstekende prijs/kwaliteit verhouding.

Het enige mini puntje is dat er geen raam open kan in de badkamer voor wat frisse lucht. Verder helemaal goed!

部屋の目の前がお寺や植物で自然豊かで趣きがあり、静かで落ち着きました。お寺から聞こえてくるガムランの演奏や、虫や鳥やカエルの声が、心地よかったです。 朝食のサービスも豪華でとても美味しかったです！ お湯もすぐに出るしバスタブ付きで快適でした😍 ウブドの中心から離れているので、タクシーは必須かと思いますが、自然豊かで朝のお散歩も気持ちよく、私はとても好きな地域です✨

Madawa と付くお宿が近くにもう一軒あったので、夜遅くに帰った時、建物を間違えて怖くなりましたw 部屋に何故かゴミ箱がなくて、トイレの横にのみゴミ箱がありまして。

Dream room.

Nice location, room very comfortable, the mattress is so good, bathroom is quite amazing too Ms Ayu is such a beautiful and kind person, she made my stay so easy. That was such a pleasure to stay at her house.

I had a room downstairs and Humidity in the room was a bit much, it is wet season but compare to other places I found it a bit tricky. Also there is a rooster on property which for me wasn’t a problem, but I guess it is good to know.

Просторный чистый и свежий номер, есть огромная ванна! Персонал выше всяких похвал! Огромное спасибо Аю, которая оперативно решала наши вопросы. Прямо напротив нашего номера был вход в храм так что мы во время завтрака любовались красивыми воротами. Кстати завтрак шикарнейший, так как можно выбирать сразу две позиции из меню.

La struttura si trova in una posizione privilegiata, con un affaccio suggestivo sui templi e sulla vegetazione di Ubud: un panorama autentico, silenzioso, profondamente balinese. Svegliarsi con questa vista e con i suoni della natura crea un’atmosfera unica, molto diversa dalle sistemazioni più turistiche della zona. Le suite e le ville sono spaziose, curate nei dettagli, sempre impeccabili nella pulizia. L’equilibrio tra comfort moderno e stile locale è perfettamente riuscito: ambienti eleganti ma caldi, dove ci si sente subito a proprio agio. Un ringraziamento speciale va ad Ayu, sempre professionale, attenta e disponibile, capace di gestire tutto con grande naturalezza. Anche la sua famiglia contribuisce con discrezione a rendere il soggiorno piacevole e ben organizzato. Viaggiare da sola significa scegliere luoghi in cui sentirsi sereni, e questo è sicuramente uno di quelli. Tornare è stato naturale — e lo sarà ancora. 🌿

Me gustó todo. Comodidad, lujo, amabilidad, y tranquilidad, podía poner más adjetivos y todos buenos. Esta al lado de un pequeño templo. Todo esta perfecto el desayuno te lo sirven en la mesa de la terraza. El tea excelente. Le escribes por WhatsApp y automáticamente te lo gestionan. Desde Ubud puedes hacer tu centro de operaciones para ir a las diferentes excursiones, es importante ir motorizado,se aparca en la puerta si vas en moto.

The hotel owner family and the lady who looked after us were very kind; they helped us with every problem we had and cared more about us than we did ourselves. Even though we left early on our last night, they prepared a small breakfast plate for us. We were truly impressed by their service. A thank you to Yoga, who brought us breakfast every morning. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Our stay at this villa was absolutely perfect. The cleanliness was outstanding, the rooms were spacious, luxurious, and very well maintained, and the breakfast was excellent. What truly made the experience special was the staff and the family who owns the property. Their warmth, care, and hospitality made us feel completely at home. The location is slight from the Ubud city center, but it turned out to be a great advantage. It is peaceful and ideal for experiencing authentic Ubud culture, while still being convenient enough to explore Ubud and nearby areas. Overall, an exceptionally satisfying stay. Everything was perfect, and we would happily return and highly recommend this villa.

Séjour absolument parfait ! Nous avons passé un moment exceptionnel dans ce logement. L’hospitalité d’Ayu et de sa famille est tout simplement remarquable : accueil chaleureux, gentillesse et disponibilité à tout moment. L’endroit est très calme, tout en étant idéalement situé à proximité du centre d’Ubud, ce qui en fait un emplacement vraiment stratégique pour visiter la région. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, délicieux et servi à la carte, un vrai plaisir chaque matin. Nous avons séjourné dans la villa avec piscine privée et la vue est à couper le souffle, un véritable havre de paix. Petit plus très appréciable : une laundry se trouve juste en bas du logement, super pratique, et des scooters sont disponibles à la location directement sur place, ce qui facilite énormément les déplacements. Honnêtement, tout était parfait du début à la fin. Nous recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés et y reviendrons sans hésiter !

We stayed at Madhawa Suites in Ubud for three nights and had a wonderful experience. On one of the nights we went on an overnight excursion, and the staff was incredibly kind and helpful — they kept our luggage for us without any issues, which made everything much easier. One very convenient detail is that laundry service is available on site, which is great when traveling and staying multiple days. The people working there are extremely kind, welcoming, and always available to help. Breakfast is included, and it’s very well organized: you can choose both what you want to eat and the time you prefer for breakfast. I highly recommend the pancakes, they were delicious. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant stay, with great service and attention to guests. Highly recommended when staying in Ubud.

Miss my homestay in Bali already We stay at the Madawa for a week and it's the best decition ever. We arrived super late because our flight was delayed, so we have to confirm it to the owner, we were so afraid that time but surprisingly She (The owner+the one serving us during the whole week) gave us a warm welcome. We got the free breakfast for our one week stay , and the breakfast is soo goodd. Big applause to the chef . Please give me extra banana pancake for my next stay😚I love it . Every morning, we ate our breakfast with the temple view and there's one woman praying every day there , Such a good view and vibe. We were not in good contion for few days, so we ask help to make us hot lime drink with seperate sugar, The owner is so kind to fully satisfied us with our sudden request. She made our heart warm during this one experience, We order the hot lime drink super late because we just got home from scrolling around, She looks tired, yet still greet us super warmly and made us the hot lime drink.Thank you so much kak<3 They also clean your room every two days or if you have special req , you can tell them. Highly recom this place. The Owner, The room, The hygiene, The Service, The food are so perfect. Definitely will stay there again if we have the chance travel to Bali again. Not paid review, just sincere and grateful review for them.

Ayu nous préparait de super petit déjeuners à la carte! Elle a été adorable et tellement serviable! Nous avons adoré nos chambres ma petite fille et son compagnon ont logé dans la villa avec piscine privée c’était superbe L’endroit excentré par rapport à Ubud et nous ne l’avons pas regretté nous nous sommes trouvés immergés dans le vrai Bali et nous avons eu un séjour parfait grâce à Rofik de Booking Bali.com il a été notre chauffeur et guide en nous organisant dés journée à la carte que nous n’aurions pas pu programmer par nous mêmes d’autant plus que la conduite dans Bali relève de la performance et surtout de la patience Ubud en soi est un vrai labyrinthe pour la conduite Nous avons trouvé dans notre rue 2 hôtels avec piscines et restaurants où nous étions bienvenus !Dans les photos que je joins il y a des photos de la rue et également des 2 autres établissements où nous avons pris nos repas

Lovely space located in a Balinese home compound, in the village of Kelabangmoding. I don't recall hearing traffic sounds, just beautiful village sounds. Because it's a Balinese home compound, you get to see everyone doing their part, whether it's preparing ceremony items (it was Kuningan when I was there), to taking care of guests, taking care of the littles ones, or preparing food for the household. Great hosts who were friendly, responsive and thoughtful. Bathtub worked very well. The space was more than adequate (spacious bathroom and mostly private balcony). Location is also perfect, quick bike ride and you'll find Ubud center. A space I would want to stay at again. Matur suksma Kak Ayu and family for your care during my stay!

Quiet living within the nature, away from busy city life. Wake up in the morning to rooster's crowing and birds chirping with the temple in the middle of the property. Exceptional hospitality from Ayu, she is one in all. It's like an homestay. Nice breakfast.

The location is little far from the centre of Ubud. However, you have grab taxi available anytime.

The family was more than friendly and the room was nice and clean. When we checked out we could leave our bags for the day because we had a trip planned.

The location is not ideal, you have to go trough Ubud center to get there and there is always traffic. Also in the morning it can be quite noisy from all the animals around.
