Increíble ambiente, la familia super amable y todo limpio. Son muy serviciales y siempre intentan ayudarte en todo lo que puedan. El desayuno es muy consistente y muy bueno, con tostadas, tortillas, café y smoothie.

It's a small house but just perfect for a short stay in Ella. The family is so nice and friendly. It seems like they genuinely like guests and try to help you with anything you need. The breakfast was great.

Avoid this scamming hostel I have made a booking through the site and after few minutes property owner called me and told that they will not accommodate locals in the hostel. This is a such a racist thing they are doing in sri lanka . I never recommend this kind of place to any other foreigners also if you are not supporting racism .

He have completely made my reservation as no show and totally act and behave in inappropriate way , never recommend this kind of cheap place for anyone , sadly owner also a local 😅

Great location with very frndly owner and his family. Breakfast was superb. Considering everything this was the best hostel during my srilanka tour.

Lovely spot! Very close to the train station and a great value. Yes it is a cheap hostel so facilities are simple, but very clean! Great hot water and it’s run by the sweetest family. The included breakfast was perfect and the fruit shake was sooo good. Also the guy running it was able to help with suggestions on things do to and directions for which onward bus to take. Awesome spot ❤️

It would be helpful to put a power strip beside the bed. One outlet for two people to share doesn’t work well.

The owners! Indrika is knowledgeable and knows how to use assets! I hope they get a healthy baby! He got two kids and I felt no noise from them. Well behaved! Breakfast is good! Location is superb! Stayed there for 2 nights.

Bit noisy, but cannot complain since it’s coz of wildlife. No one can control wildlife if you look for greenhouses for your stay!

This hostel was super cozy, very very clean, and the hosts were a beautiful family. The breakfast was really good too with a different fruit shake every morning. I really felt comfortable, clean and welcomed here. Its a good location too, with hostels infront and behind, so easy to meet people.

La atmósfera amigable y backpacker del hostal hace que te quieras quedar. Las camas son cómodas y las habitaciones equilibradas en cuanto a ruidos. El baño era sorprendente grande. El restaurante de al lado que es de los mismos dueños sirve al hostel. Las vistas a ella rock desde la terraza son una pasada. Dan ganas de quedarse a vivir ahí.

El personal parecía que estaba un poco de vuelta ya con la gente. No se les veía amigables en exceso para lo visto en sri lanka

Останавливалась в хостеле на 2 ночи. Хозяева очень гостеприимные, предложили кофе, проводили и показали место, где ждать автобус. Комната чистая, кровать высокая, удобная. Душевая и туалеты тоже чистые. В душе - горячая вода, что очень радует вечером, когда уже достаточно прохладно. Также удобное расположение хостела: остановка автобуса - в 50 метрах, поезда - в 400 метрах. Рядом лавки с фруктами магазины, кафе. До малого пика Адама можно добраться пешком, так же, как и девятиарочного моста.

Ein sehr süßes familiengeführtes Hostel. Es gab an jedem Bett ein Moskitonetz, das Wasser der Duschen war warm und man konnte die Küche mit benutzen :) Die Lage war zentral und man konnte alles gut erreichen zu Fuß oder mit tuktuk

Lediglich der Platz für die eigenen Sachen war sehr gering - ich wusste kaum wohin mit meinem Backpack

People were very kind and helpful.

There was stain on bed sheet and blanket. The place is bit congested and small. Bit of a walk / tracking to reach from bus stop.

Breakfast was nice. Hostel was easy to find. Service was great, personal was happy to help all the time.

Cozy House Hostel in Ella ist genau so gemütlich, wie der Name verspricht! Die Familie, die es betreibt, ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit – Sameera und die Eltern kümmern sich um alles, von täglicher Reinigung bis zu Tipps für Ausflüge wie Nine Arch Bridge. Die Lage ist perfekt: Direkt am Bahnhof und in der Nähe der Hauptstraße mit Cafés und Läden, man hat alles zu Fuß erreichbar. Betten sind bequem, Bäder sauber mit warmem Wasser, und es gibt eine Chill-Area mit Hängematte im Garten – ideal zum Zug gucken und Entspannen. Frühstück ist lecker und günstig, Küche kann man nutzen, und der Preis ist unschlagbar für Backpacker. Ich hab länger bleiben wollen und mich wie zu Hause gefühlt. Absolut empfehlenswert für Reisende wie mich!

Host super gentili e disponibili. Ci hanno aiutato molto. Posizione poco fuori dal centro. Doccia ampia. Abbiamo pagato per una stanza a 4 ci hanno dato una doppia senza supplementi.

Letti scomodi e duri. Bagno poco luminoso. Faceva freddo in camera e non c'erano lenzuola.

Problems with the electricety.

Vriendelijke eigenaar. Klamboes voor de muggen. Toiletten en douche apart en in een apart gangetje. Locatie is dichtbij het centrum. Het is inderdaad cozy.

De kamers zijn wat klein. Het is lastig bereikbaar als je moeilijk te been bent. Niet al het personeel komt vriendelijk over.

It got really cold at night so probably you should ask for another blanket. Also the room is not too big

The owners were very friendly and helped me with suggestions on how to move or what to do there. Breakfast was amazing and the location is very good, 5mins walk from the city but still away from the caos.

The mattresses are very good and comfortable. The hot water is really appreciated. The location is unbeatable, very close to everything but without being in the middle of the noise. The place is super clean. And what can I say about Indika’s family… I would stay and live with them. They are wonderful, good people with unbeatable kindness and great vibes. Always with a smile. The place has such a healthy, positive energy. I think it’s the best place I’ve stayed in Sri Lanka. 11/10

Super bien placé à ella, les chambres sont simples mais efficaces. Petite terrasse au dessus de l’hébergement et petit déjeuner copieux et très bon. Indica le propriétaire est super sympas et gentil. Il nous a arrangé poir la location d'un scooter ce qui nous a permis d'aller voir les cascade à plus de 30 km de ella et c'était génial ! Merci encore pour tout et à bientôt

Posto veramente super per rapporto qualità prezzo, molto grande e spazioso. Ho prenotato una stanza condivisa ed ero da sola con bagno solo per me. Durante il soggiorno sono stata male e il proprietario è stato gentilissimo e si è preso cura di me!!! Lo consiglio a tutti, posto tranquillo e colazione molto buona :)

If you’re planning to stay at a hotel in Ella, don’t think twice and come to Cozy House. The owner, Indika ,is charming and gave me great tips on places to visit in the area while we chatted. You get free coffee and tea, plus laundry service. The beds are comfortable with mosquito nets and the bathroom is clean. Great value for money. Definitely recommended! 😁

Sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso del luogo, posiziona alta subito vicino alla stazione di Elle. L’host e la sua famiglia sono veramente persone buone e disponibili che oltre ad un ottima colazione possono offrire anche un servizio di lavanderia veloce. I loro consigli sui percorsi e le cose da visitare sono stati essenziali. In essenza un posto molto “cozy” ;) sarei rimasto di più , mi sentivo come a casa

I stayed here one night. The room was basic but met all my needs. Staff & breakfast was over the top good. The facilities, WiFi and beds were all great.

It’s a little hard to find it’s not a negative at all just be aware ☺️

駅から、またセンターからのアクセスが良かったです。 オーナーにはエラまでのバスの行き方、近くのバス停がどこなのかまで教えてもらえました。 あとはお湯の出るシャワーもあり良かったです。

この値段で日本と同じ清潔感を求めるのはお門違いで特に無し。

清潔でスタッフのホスピタリティが素晴らしかった！！ お茶を無料で何杯も出してくれた！ ハンモックが素晴らしい スタッフがバス停まで見送りをしてくれ、バスが来るまで、待ってくれた！

La struttura è piccola e molto semplice, si crea subito una piacevole atmosfera familiare . La posizione è semplicemente perfetta, gli host molto apprensivi , cordiali e pronti ad aiutarvi.

Todo estaba muy limpio. La familia es muy amable. Hay mosquitera en la cama. Había reservado una noche pero extendí a dos. Me sentí muy cómoda aquí y ver pasar el tren en la hamaca de la terraza era maravilloso.

El hostel de al lado tiene música alta y la habitación es pequeña para 4 personas.

Cute homely hostel, with the hottest showers I’ve found in Sri Lanka. The owner is super sweet and will give you recommendations on walks and shortcuts. It’s close to the ella rock and waterfall walks.

Sotto l’ostello passa il treno perciò se si ha il sonno leggero è un po’ difficile

The owner is really gentle and open mind to talk,

A cozy, very clean place with a lot of character. Great rooftop. Comfortable beds. The owner and his family are very friendly. Everything is very close, especially railway and bus station. You can tell they do it with love, and if I’m ever back in Kandy, I’ll be happy to return here. I extended my stay because it really feels like home.

The owner Indica is a very sweet and generous host. He is great at guiding and helping with doubts and recommendations. The room is safe and clean. I had a very comfortable sleep. Well worth the money.
