They have everything you need in the room, even the adapter so you can use your eu charger. The host is very nice and very responsive. The area around the apartment was also pretty and worth checking out, very close to the train station.

Reviewed Jun 28, 2026Host allowed me to enter the property earlier than the check-in time, which was greatly helpful on the tight schedule I was working with. Although relatively small, it was more than sufficient for me as a solo traveler with all of the necessary amenities I needed while in the area (washer, microwave, small kitchen area), and the loft bed was more comfortable than I was expecting.
The principle of having a loft bed did make it admittedly a bigger hassle to navigate around the room, though that was expected as part of the description. The sink did leave a bit to be desired, as the drain underneath the food trap did not emit a very pleasant smell when cleaning up the sink.

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026Sehr schön gelegenes Apartment im entspannten Stadtteil Koenji mit einer sehr lieben Gastgeberin Selina, welche noch während des Aufenthalts ein kleines Präsent an der Türklinke hinterließ. Das Apartment ist sehr kompakt und gemütlich eingerichtet und es gibt alles was man braucht. Die Lage ist auch hervorragend,an geht gefühlt nur 5 Minuten zum Bahnhof von Koenji und ist schnell in Shinjuku und Shibuya oder auch beim Meiji Schrein. Ich würde hier wieder herkommen! Danke (:

Reviewed Jun 2, 2026The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive. They even helped us send our luggage on to our next hotel, which was amazing! The kitchen had everything we needed for our week long stay. The mini fridge was useful to fit in a few food items and drinks. The beds up in the loft were super cozy, we found it very easy to sleep, it also helps that the location is in a quiet part of town! Koenji is a fantastic place, everything we needed/wanted was practically on the doorstep.
The toilet room was too cramped and made it very awkward to sit up and down all the time. Taller folk may find it hard to get comfortable. We could hear people through the walls and ceiling but thats expected for Tokyo. Ear plugs were provided by the host though, which helped.

Reviewed Apr 25, 2026Das Apartment hat uns einen guten Einstieg in japanische Wohnverhältnisse gewährt. Es ist zwar klein, aber wirklich gemütlich. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Bett fanden wir sehr bequem. Selina ist ein zuvorkommender Host. Sie hat uns die Möglichkeit gegeben unser Gepäck nach Check-out unterzustellen. Das Angebot benötigten wir letztendlich nicht, aber es ist super die Option zu haben. Bei allen anderen Unterkünften mussten wir zuvor unsere Pässe abfotografieren und uploaden. Hier lief es sehr entspannt ab und wir konnten während unseres Aufenthaltes einfach ein Formular ausfüllen. Der Zugang zum Apartment war unkompliziert. Die Lage ist auch zentral. Der nächste Bahnhof ist fußläufig erreichbar.
Nebenan wohnt ein extremer Schnarcher, den wir durch die dünnen Wände gehört haben und was unsere persönliche Schlafqualität negativ beeinflusst hat. Hieran kann der Host aber natürlich nichts ändern.

Reviewed Apr 8, 2026Das kleine Studio ist ausgestattet mit allem, was man benötigt. Es gab auch eine Waschmaschine, was sehr praktisch war. Self-Check-In war sehr unkompliziert. Für uns war die Lage ein Highlight - nicht mitten in der touristischen Zone, doch trotzdem sehr nah am Bahnhof Koenji, von wo aus man schnell im Zentrum ist. In der Umgebung gibt es viele tolle Secondhand-Shops, Restaurants, Cafés und Supermärkte.
Die Check-Out Zeit um 10.00 Uhr ist etwas früh, wie hätten es geschätzt, zumindest eine Stunde länger Zeit zu haben. Auch kann es in der Unterkunft zu zweit mit Gepäck etwas eng werden, was jedoch vielerorts in Tokio der Fall ist.

I didnt sleep anywhere as good as here, and let me tell you im travelling for the past 4 months. it had perfect location for food at any time of the day. I loved the neighbourhood. Suoer quite, peaceful, but you turn a corner and the bars restaurants are there are open until 5am. The heated floor, Japanese toilet was a luxury! And its such a goid value for money that i cant wait to come back!!! Thank you 🙏🙏🙏

Reviewed Feb 25, 2026Location was lovely! Quiet neighbourhood in a more local zone of Tokyo. Lots of good shopping and shops near by. Selina was clear and quick with communication and left a little gift at the end of our stay! Beds were comfy and welcoming after a long day of walking around.
Sitting area wasn't the comfiest, would have loved some tea or coffee in house to have in the morning. But it was a nice place between big Tokyo exploring days.

GPS occasionally don’t take me to the right place; could be user error. If you get it right, it is a super easy L-shape from the train station, and a short walk to it, groceries, an onsen and lots of eateries and shops.

There are a lot of smokers in the area and the smell of cigarettes can be quite strong. However, the room smells okay when the windows are shut.

It is a tight space, but we knew this going into it, and it ultimatley made the experience for us. Selina was a great host, very responsive and considerate.

A little too small for my personal preference if I had to stay longer. But it did the job and I would definitely stay again because the area/location was great.
