The apartment is stunning, beautiful decoration, super clean. Love the original features. Comfortable beds and pillows. Easy check in and bonus to park a bit later on check out if needed. Overlooking park and 5 minutes walk to Gloucester Quays for shopping and restaurants. Great base for our mini break.

It was a lovely, quirky apartment that was a joy to stay in for a couple of nights. I loved the huge windows and the feel of the apartment, overlooking the green. Some places you remember long after your stay and this will be one of them.

I booked a 3 bedroom apartment as it said on the description there were 3 separate bedrooms. However there were 2 separate bedrooms and the third bed was in the hallway. There was no privacy as the other bedrooms opened up into the hallway near the bed. Owner wasn’t willing to accept that this was actually a two bedroom apartment with a third bed. Booking.com wasn’t able to contact him either. Please check properly before you book, otherwise everything else was good

I liked the large size of the appartment and the quirky decorations. The paintings of famous judges and criminals are interesting. It has a whiff of one of these National Trust mansions. The living room is bigger than the floor plan of my house, so quite unique. The building manager was friendly and welcoming. She helped us find the car park at the back of the house. It has space for over 10 cars so no worries. Judge House location is very close to the harbour and the outlet centre. There are many restaurants and breakfast places nearby.

My wife didn't like the interior. Someone put a glass full of water in the kitchen cupboard which ,when she grabbed it, sprayed on her head.

Huge apartment, clean, everything you need facility wise and free parking! Right next to the quays and opposite a small park for the dog! I would definitely stay here again and recommend highly to others! Very peaceful too! And staff were very friendly..perfect! Loved the paintings and art in the hallways too!!

The only thing I would say for those who can’t do stairs, make sure you request a ground floor apartment-for anyone else, I was on the top floor and it’s not actually as daunting as you think..it says 4 flights but it’s more like 2..and I was knackered after a long drive with lots of bags! The apartment was worth it though!

Well equipped property in a historic building, lovingly furnished with quirky interesting paintings and decor. Board games and books supplied for rainy episodes. Big comfortable bed. Well located for exploring the historic docks.

Very quirky apartment, clean and very spacious. We stayed for one night on our way down to Cornwall. Easy to find and instructions were easy to understand to find the apartment and the parking was included. There was a lovely balcony to sit out on too.

Apartment 16 did not have a terrace and only a view of the car park. TV is old and small. The plum wine coloured walls throughout made it dark and the decor could be freshly painted

Excellent location within very easing walking distance of Gloucester city centre and the docklands area. Leafy street with mature trees and looking directly down over club bowling greens. Lovely. For the price, this place is an absolute gem. We'd have spent the same each - or more - on a hotel room and got this instead. Can't recommend highly enough. If I'm back in Gloucester again, wouldn't think twice about rebooking.

There was nothing I didn't like. The rooms are huge - I was only sharing with a friend so we had a large double room each. Plenty room for another guest on the big comfy sofa in living room - very well equipped kitchen and huge dining table set out for 8 people. The decor and artwork will keep anyone occupied for a bit as well. Very entertaining ! Good hot powerful shower as well.

Lovely place - gorgeous inside - comfie beds - top notch !!! We got in so late and just needed advice from Charles - so helpful and we were so sorry ringing him late - but no negatives anx positives - perfect location we loved it !!!

Plenty of room and the kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed. The location was perfect being just a short walk from Gloucester Docks and a range of eating places. Gloucester Park was a 2 min walk, which was so convenient as we took our 2 dogs away with us. During our stay, we ordered a takeaway from Aroma Indian restaurant, which was honestly the nicest we’ve ever tasted. The Paneer butter masala was delicious. Joining instructions were clearly communicated.

We didn’t find that there were enough binbags provided (only 1 for the 2 night stay). Nobody wants to have dog food hanging about in the bin in the hot weather! We bought more. We checked each day for ice for our drinks, which was mentioned in the Welcome Pack but found the freezer empty each time.

Large well appointed ground floor appartment. Beautifully decorated with plenty of furniture. well stocked kitchen with cloths and detergent. both bathrooms had a bath and shower option. Free and readily available parking. 10 minute walk to the city centra and Gloucester Quays. Pets allowed. communal terrace to sit outside. Well maintained sash windows which opened. Fans provided in the bedrooms

A few steps needed which might be a problem with severe disability. Hot water wasn’t brilliantly hot but not bad enough to seek help from housekeeping. would have appreciated a dishwasher tab. i brought my own washing capsules! Freezer with ice was empty :-(((

Everything! all the furnishings and the paintings, decor - all so interesting. Kitchen was great. we had a 2 bedder as elderly family stayed with us and they also found everything very comfortable.

Comfortable, clean and quirky with ample space to relax. Good location with just a short walk to the docks. We had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend.

Only one parking space provided per apartment but you can pay extra if you need another which is close by. Would be useful to have a small amount of cooking oil in the kitchen.

We arrived after travelling 2 hours to find the cleaners still in the room and them not expected us. Check in is 3pm and we didn't arrive till 4pm. We had no communication off the property till I messaged them. They did respond saying we could check out at 2pm but I had plans so couldn't. We ordered food and because its so badly sign posted they couldn't find us and my food was stolen within 13 mins of drop off. Not the hosts fault but there no signs pointing the building out till you get around the back. Wouldn't come back the area is definitely not somewhere to he waling around.

Lovely apartment, quirky decor and lots of space. All amenities included, a nice foothold for a small family to visit Gloucester. Great instructions to find the apartment received before we arrived, love the library area.

A few little signs of wear in the apartment that could do with some attention but nothing major. The fish in the block behind the front door is a bit creepy 🫣😂 especially for anyone sleeping in the single bed right behind the front door. We chose to use the sofabed instead as our teenager didn't feel right sleeping behind the main door with the fish looking at her.

The location was very central, and we could book multiple apartments to accommodate our group.

The code for the lockbox wasn't scrambled before we arrived, so we found other guests who had got confused wandering around in our apartment. The "single bedrooms" in both apartments were just beds in the entrance foyer and not separate private bedrooms. This meant the guests in those rooms had no privacy when people entered and exited the apartments. Apartment 4 didn't have a shared bathroom either, which meant the guest in the single bedroom had to enter other people's rooms to use the bathroom. I complained to the Judges Lodgings, but they said they stand by their descriptions and don't find them misleading in any way.

Ideal location situated a few minutes walk from the lovely Dock area.The apartment is lovely and very spacious with beautiful stunning artwork and some wonderful quirky touches.

On reflection it probably is more suited to a couple our adult son was sleeping on the sofa bed and you have to go through the bedroom to reach the bathroom so sometimes a bit awkward.

On arrival cleaning had not been done. No clean sheets or towels. I phoned and within 10 minutes the lady arrived and resolved by contacting cleaners and the whole place was cleaned promptly. Was very apologetic.

A beautiful and comfortable space for 3 travelers in need of immediate accommodation near the Quays due to a car hire transition. We especially liked the ease of entry, the wonderful linens, kitchen facilities, and the pleasant neighborhood. It was like being at home while on holiday. We will definitely return when possible. It was quiet yet a convenient location for shopping, dining, and key interests of the area.

Very spacious quirky apartment. Nice quiet location but easy waling to both the quays and town centre. Well equipped with everything you would need for a short stay. The parking was easy and very convenient.

Some of the fittings (eg. the fridge door cover) were a bit loose and could do with tightening.

The central location is great, and there was parking available at the rear. It is within easy walking distance to the Quays and the city centre, but is in a nice quiet location. The apartment was well furnished with nice, quirky antiques. I would definitely recommend.

It would have been good to have had better information about how to access the car park on arrival.

Beautiful properties with an excellent location! They have lots of information of what to do in the Cotswolds and the staff are generally quick to respond. We had a great trip overall. And while it was extra being able to get late checkout until 1pm was great.

We were told the apartments would be joined but where in two different places of the building. Ultimately this really wasn't a problem. However the booking was for 10 and the second apartment was smaller than the first apartment so it was more of a squeeze for five people, the size of the sofa bed was only really comfortable for one adult, two if the second was a small person and only had one bathroom so sometimes one of us would walk to the other apartment to shower. So ideally it would have been nice to have a second similar sized apartment even if the two apartments were not next to each other. The booking was for 10 people and we had to pay extra for an additional car. It would have been nice to have that included or discounted. I also found more success organising it directly through the Judges Lodging website rather than through booking.com.

Stunning duplex in a perfect location only a few hundred metres from the quayside pubs and restaurants, could not fault it in anyway private parking around the back was an added bonus , would 100% book here again

Fantastic location walkable to many grocery stores and the cathedral. Parking was tight with our large people mover and the hosts advised us on a larger lot we could park in. Hosts were responsive and helpful answering questions even when the answers could easily be found in the book provided in the flat. Cooking equipment was enough to make a simple meal with ease. The flat was spacious, beautifully decorated and comfortable. If I ever go back to Gloucester I would love to stay there again!

Can't think of much except that the recommended parking was very tight, but the host provided a secondary parking area that was manageable in our peoplemover.

Het matras was zeer versleten, met een kuil, stak circa 20 cm uit tov de onderkant van het bed en had voor 2 personen veel te krap dekbed. Totaal onvoldoende!

Nothing really but I would recommend you speak to whoever put the under unit lights in the kitchen because the screws are too long and the sharp ends are projecting into the wall cupboard, you might catch your hand on these. Poor workmanship.

Wir haben die versprochenen Informationen (schlüsselpin) nicht erhalten. Die angegebene Telefonnummer war ein Telefonbeantworter , der aber nicht funktionnierte (mind. 10x probiert). Erst nach wiederholten Anfragen bei Booking.com konnten wir das Appartement beziehen - nach etwa 2 Stunden. Schade um die verlorene Zeit, und zudem war es bemühend, als betagte Ausländer telefonisch kommunizieren zu müssen.

Definitely not the usual bland hotel decor, this was something different - a bit special, and we loved it. Location was spot on for us - just a few minutes walk to get to the docks, and there's a park opposite which was great for the kids.

The seagulls are quite noisy which didn't bother me but hubby lost a bit of sleep. I had requested for a cot to be put up in the bedroom for us, and that was overlooked but it was no trouble sorting that out ourselves.

Beds were comfy and the location was great for us, attending a function at Llanthony Secunda Priory.

The apartment wasn't really suitable for a party of our size due to both bathrooms being ensuite. My Mum, who was sleeping in the single bed, which is technically in the hallway, and 23 year old son had to use other people's bedroom enquites to shower and use the bathroom in the night, which was not really convenient.

The bed was comfortable and clean

To be honest, our stay did not meet our expectations. While we did have a great night's sleep and found the beds clean and comfortable, there were several significant issues during our stay. First, despite booking for five guests (four adults and one child), we were only provided with four towels. Second, there were several housekeeping issues. Since we were only staying for one night, we didn't want to go through the hassle of contacting the head of housekeeping at the time, but the neglect was obvious. The extractor fans in both toilets were covered in a thick layer of dust. I actually work in housekeeping myself, and by the look of it, those fans haven't been cleaned in months. Third, the shower hose was covered in black mold. While we were showering, pieces of the mold actually broke off, leaving us standing in moldy water. Fourth, the kettle was badly in need of descaling. Please tell me how this is acceptable when paying £200 per night? I understand general wear and tear, especially given that it is an old building, but the basic cleanliness of the place needs a lot of work. The carpets were so sticky that our feet and socks turned black (we do not wear shoes indoors), and I couldn't even let my four-year-old son play on the floor. Furthermore, there was a questionable stain on the sofa that smelled of urine. Lastly, regarding the instruction to take the bins out: I expected this service to be included in the £200 nightly rate. Guests should not be required to take out the trash during a hotel or serviced apartment stay; this is not an Airbnb.

Very comfortable, well appointed flat. Some great artwork both in the apartment and in the public areas. Well equiped kitchen. Fantastically comfortable bed. The location is withing easy walking distance of the City Centre, Quay area (Bars and Restaurants) Cathedral and park.

The property was probably the best ABB that we have ever booked. The location was quiet, well placed for access to the city & the sports stadium. Parking was secure & the additional parking place was very accessible & value for money !. Communication with those in charge was only an email away with prompt responses. As for the accommodation.. it was beautiful.. charming & a little bit quirky , clean , well appointed & comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Thank you.

in apartment number 4 there is a very unpleasant smell from the sewage system.

I liked the facilities the property offered. Bed was super comfy and it was in an easy walkable area.

Shower was very hot and couldn’t cool it down but not too much of an issue. There is some noise feedback from other apartments but it wasn’t too disturbing for me.

We had a very pleasant stay. The property is ideally located, with everything within easy walking distance. It was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and beautifully furnished, making it a relaxing place to unwind. The owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable, providing all the information we needed about the local area and dining options. Everything was thoughtfully prepared in advance, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We also really appreciated being able to use the carport until 2:00 pm, which was a great bonus. Overall, a wonderful experience and highly recommended

The whole lace was fantastic, just a shame were only staying the one night. Would definitely use it again for a visit to Gloucester. The location was peaceful but a short stroll into the city centre, so a perfect balance. Very helpful stall who sorted out a little accident we had and tidied up without any fuss.
