Horel staff were very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The hotel suite was really nice witha good balcony. Overall, an excellent stay.

Our stay at Domus Blanc Hotel was amazing from start to finish. The staff were the highlight of our experience. They were incredibly welcoming, helpful, and genuinely hospitable, assisting us with everything we needed and even helping us plan our entire trip around Crete. The hotel was immaculate with great facilities, service and food. The staff were exceptional and we can't thank them enough for their service!!! We would definitely stay again if visiting Crete.

The hotel was a good 15 min walk to the harbour which we picked and was happy with so not an issue for our group.

Très beau séjour ! Les réceptionnistes et l'équipe sont bienveillants, souriants et très sympathiques. L'hôtel est très beau, les chambres grandes et lumineuses et la piscine agréable. Le petit déjeuner est copieux et qualitatif. Il est situé légèrement à l'extérieur du centre dans un quartier moins touristique et non loin de la mer. Nous recommandons !

Depuis notre chambre au 2eme, nous entendions beaucoup les discussions de la réception qui remontent dans la cage d'escaliers. Un détail mais il n'est pas possible d'arrêter les stores : ils sont soit fermés soit ouverts, donc très lumineux au réveil.

We stayed in the Ambassadors' suite which was spacious and quiet with a pretty garden and plunge pool. All of the staff were very attentive and friendly and the ambiance of the hotel made for a relaxing stay.

We acknowledge this is a boutique hotel but we thought the outdoor areas would be more spacious than they were.

Truly terrific. Hotel staff were happy to offer alternatives if you asked.

Fabulous boutique hotel located in Halepa on the outskirts of Chania . Recently completely refurbished with stunning interior and exterior .

Choice of food especially for one with allergies was limited . Although the staff were very helpful and tried their best to accommodate . The dinner menu was also disappointing .

דומוס בלאנק חאניה הוא מלון שחידש מבנה היסטורי בשכונה יוקרתית של חאניה. משהוא כמו בית הקונסול הבלגי המדהים בטלביה ירושלים. זה אכן היה בית הקונסול הצרפתי שקראו לו בלאנק. מי שעשה את חידוש המבנה ההיסטורי הזה שפך שם מיליונים של יורו. המלון מדהים ביופיו. השילוב בין המודרני להיסטורי הוא ברמה של מלון ממילא בירושלים. פשוט עבודת אמנות אדריכלית. הבריכה נסתרת לה בגב המלון היא לא גדולה אבל מוקפת צמחיה יפיפיה . זה מלון יוקרה והצוות כולו מתנהג לאורחים כאילו כל אחד הוא הקונסול ממדינתו. אני מורה דרך מוביל קבוצות שנים רבות ולא ראיתי מלון שנותן כזו תמורה לכסף . ארוחת הבוקר..מצויינת. אכלנו גם במלון ארוחת ערב כי ראיתי את התפריט ואוכלים בחצר יפה. אז אחרי הפלגת שקיעה מנמל חאניה חזרנו למלון לארוחת ערב מעולה. הכל היה ברמה הגבוהה ביותר. מהקוקטיילים הייחודיים עד למוס אבוקדו בסיום. אוכל מעולה במחירים שכל ישראלי יכול לעמוד בהם. יש גם בונוס ...המלון צמוד לבית וניזלוס- מוזיאון בביתו ההסטוריה של אבי ההלניזם המודרני. אם הייתם בבית בן גוריון אז וניזלוס- היה בן גוריון של היוונים. לא בכדי אנחנו קוראים לנתבג על שם בן גוריון. באתונה נקרא שדה התעופה וניזלוס-. אבל הוא היה יליד כרתים. הבית שלו צמוד למלון. וזו פינת חמד.

העיר נמצאת מרחק 7 דקות במונית שעולה 9 עד 11 אירו. יש אין ספור מלונות בעיר העתיקה של חאניה. אבל אין מלון ברמה הזו בעיר בכלל. אנחנו בילינו לילה בעיר העתיקה ולילה בדומוס בלאנק. אין מה להשוות. החדר שלנו שהיה סויטה בעליית הגג שבה הכל מופעל אלקטרונית היה אחת הסוויטות היפות שראיתי בחיי.

Everything. This might be the best stay at a hotel I’ve ever had. The property itself is beautiful - with a Wes Anderson style pool. Our room was incredibly comfortable and the staff were the best - so attentive. We had a flight late the next day and the staff were so accommodating - we had the best day by the pool. If I could give them more stars I would.

La localisation est parfaite : on est près du centre (20mn à pied le long de la mer) et le quartier est très calme et sûr. Il est facile de stationner pour la nuit. Le site est très beau. Bâtiment magnifique et personnel très agréable. L'accueil est chaleureux et les conseils donnés sur les centres d'intérêt touristiques sont utiles.

Même si le personnel est attentif et courtois, la partie "restauration" ne donne que partiellement satisfaction: => Au petit déjeuner, il faut commander des plats (assez élaborés et plutôt caloriques) puis attendre d'être servi : une formule "buffet", même assez simple, serait plus adaptée et informelle. => Au dîner, le rapport qualité / prix n'est pas optimal : il est supérieur en ville, dans les restaurants entourant le port.

This hotel deserves all the stars. The staff are fantastic and make everything so easy-booking dinners, cars, excursions, finding what you need. You will not want for anything.

Incredible breakfast every morning and the staff were so helpful. The rooms are exceedingly comfortable and the the locations is fantastic - just on the edge of Chania.

Ein richtig schönes Hotel mit wunderschönen Zimmern. Auch das Frühstück war köstlich, es gab jeden Tag frischen Saft und kleine Smoothies. Dazu konnte man sich noch ein extra Frühstück aus der Karte wählen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hat einen viele Tipps für Ausflüge gegeben. Der Pool ist sogar etwas beheizt und der Sportraum gut ausgestattet.

My wife was pregnant during our stay, and the team went above and beyond to accommodate all our needs and ensure we were well looked after. From the warm welcome on arrival to the delicious daily breakfasts, every detail was thoughtfully handled. The waiting staff at Atelier Bistro were wonderful—attentive, kind, and a pleasure to see each morning. A special thank you to Maria, Anna, and Vasiliki for their warmth and care, making our stay truly memorable.

Sehr schönes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Hotel, ruhig gelegen, sowohl das Zimmer als auch die allgemeinen Räume waren sehr sauber. Besonders aufmerksames und freundliches Personal, wir waren zu Ostern dort und erhielten vom Personal alle Informationen zu den Feierlichkeiten in der Stadt.

Das Frühstück entsprach nicht der Hotelkategorie hinsichtlich Qualität und Auswahl.

The neighbors next door could see the jacuzzi area amd our room and we could hear the reception in the morning as we stayed on the ground floor.

From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel genuinely cared for. They were attentive, courteous, and always ready to help — whether arranging taxis, organising bike rentals, or offering thoughtful recommendations for restaurants and outings. Their approach felt personal without being intrusive, and it really added to the stay. We also appreciated the complimentary dinner on our first evening and the proseccos waiting in the room. A special thank‑you to all staff and Anna, Maria and Vassiliki in the reception. The hotel itself is a beautifully restored historical building, once home to the French embassy. It has a quiet dignity, and the atmosphere gives you the feeling of stepping into a different era — almost as if you were living inside a Hemingway or Fitzgerald novel. We stayed in the attic suite, Maurice. The space is large and comfortable, with a separate living and sleeping area divided by sliding doors, two toilets and showers. The renovation has been done with taste and care, and the interior has a quiet charm that makes the room feel like a small retreat. The hotel is not directly on the seaside or centre but several small streets lead along the waterline toward the town or the port. The walk takes about 20–30 minutes (and is much more pleasant from waterline than the main road suggested by Google Maps, which is rather busy with cars). I liked that the hotel sits slightly away from the centre — it felt peaceful and calm after a full day out. After a rainy hike, warming up in the sauna and taking a dip in the pool was a real bonus and a great way to end the day. A comfortable stay with thoughtful service and a quiet atmosphere — easy to recommend.

Breakfast was served à la carte. It worked well for us, though I would have welcomed a few more whole‑grain or healthier options on the three‑tier stand. Still, it was enjoyable overall.

This is a beautifully restored old mansion offering excellent services in a stylish atmosphere. The very professional staff pays attention to every detail, everyone is always cheerful, helpful and well informed. The room was very comfortable, with top quality bedding, towels and toiletries, while the breakfast was excellent, especially the à la carte options, and coffee was awesome.

Ενα ξενοδοχείο κόσμημα στα Χανιά ! Μόλις 15 λεπτά από το αεροδρόμιο 5 λεπτά από το παλιό λιμάνι σε μια άκρως ήσυχη τοποθεσία που επιτρέπει να είσαι δίπλα στο κέντρο για όλες τις υποχρεώσεις αλλά προσφέρει επιστρέφοντας μια όαση χαλάρωσης . Τα δωμάτια έχουν καθαριότητα που θα ζήλευε χειρουργείο και αισθητική που θα ζήλευε γκαλερί ! Το προσωπικό σε κάνει να νιώθεις μοναδικός και είναι εκεί για κάθε επιθυμία σου πάντα με χαμόγελο ! Οι παροχές τόσο του ξενοδοχείου όσο και των δωματίων προσεγμένες στην παραμικρή τους λεπτομέρεια ! Είναι το ξενοδοχείο που επιλέγουμε και θα επιλέγουμε σε κάθε απόδρασή μας στα Χανιά !

This is a beautiful old French consulate. The front desk staff are kind and helpful. The rooms are clean, spacious and the bed is amazingly comfortable. There are lots of little touches to the way the hotel is run and this makes the experience memorable and fantastic.

The staff was exceptionally friendly! They really made our stay feel extra special! No matter what we needed they were there for us. The rooms and all of the hotel were super clean. The rooms felt super modern with nice appliances. The breakfast was really nice and I preferred it to a buffet since I would just over-indulge. You could choose from a list of breakfast options and get unlimited coffee of your choice. If you're looking for a hotel where you can just chill by the pool, I'd say this is not the right hotel for you. Its a cosy little pool with a few sun loungers. The area is quite shady though, especially during off-season. We spent most of our time at the beach or in the city which was great for us. The city center is a 20-30 minute walk away. For us it was not a problem but its something you need to be aware of since there are not too many restaurants around the hotel. Having said that, the hotel's own restaurant is fantastic as well! Would definitely recommend having dinner here at least once as well. All in all 10/10 for us and would highly recommend to anyone. Will definitely come back here if we come to Crete again.

Everything about this hotel was exceptional. The cleanliness, the facilities, how attentive and dedicated the staff are, the food. I could not fault it in anyway, this made our holiday. I am gluten free and they were nothing but accommodating and make sure I had the most comfortable and enjoyable experience.

High specification. Storage properly thought out, a place for everything and tastefully fitted out.

It was further from the Old Town than we would like but it was in exchange for having a pool. Nearer the Port, a hotel with a pool would have cost more. Either budget for taxi rides, hire a car or get the bus.
