We were met at the door by David, exactly at the pre-arranged time. David was great, and even carried our suitcases up the stairs - typical narrow and steep Amsterdam staircase. He had lots of information about the local area. He even came and helped us with luggage at our departure. The apartment is spacious and beautifully decorated. It is exactly like the photos - maybe even better. There is a rear balcony which was great to sit at for meals in or just relaxing. The location is great, with a canal, cafes and good shops all within easy walking distance (as in, just round the corner). It's a vibrant area, but not at all noisy in the apartment, even with the window open. There is a tram stop 50m from the apartment which makes longer excursions so easy. I have a calasthenics exercise regime for when I travel - I could this either in the square in the front of the house, or in the free space on the rear balcony when it was raining. There are trestle tables in the square just at the front of the house which we used when friends came for a drink - just another very cool feature. The kitchen has a microwave, full size fridge and freezer and is well equiped. There is no stove, and this is clearly stated in the apartment description. Something to considered for a longer stay

the property manager was very helpful from start to end. brought up our heavy luggages and responded to texts promptly and this is much appreciated from someone who is new to this city .

Characterful property . Excellent location on a tree filled square within 25m of canal and cafes . Lovely atmosphere but not noisy . Property well equipped and very comfortable . Furnishings not quite as smart as photographs but very nice.

There wasn’t anything about the property we didn’t like .

Host was amazing and the property was better than expected.

There was construction going on behind us that started at 7:00AM but only happened one day.

Lovely Apartment, great location and the host David was fabulous.

There is a lot to like about this property: -lots of space -plug in beside bed - but only on one side :( -couch was comfy -washer and dryer with drying rack was excellent -kitchen well stocked, even had coffee pods and creamer for us - nice touch! -close to all amenities and within walking distance to tons of shops and outdoor cafes -close to tram line -property manager (David) was excellent, super helpful (even carried our luggage up and down) -nice outdoor area just outside front door to sit and enjoy a bottle of wine or have a morning coffee or just enjoy the beautiful area

Some things that could be improved or things to watch for those looking to rent the unit: (trying to be detailed) -only plug in beside one side of the bed (so bring a loooong phone charger) -the unit has significant construction going on just outside of master bedroom (and the saw blades start at 7:00am...grrrr) -can't utilize the "bedroom outdoor terrace" as the construction is SOOOO loud you can't hear yourself think (we were here in late May 2026, so it will be at least another 6 months to 1 year before its done (see pics) -NO A/C - think about this if your planning a trip in the summer months (May-October) - its HOT HOT HOT inside that unit without A/C (they did provide one small tabletop fan, but it was in the living room, and there was nowhere to put it in the bedroom and nowhere to plug it in besides the living room -to the point above, because there is construction going on, your in a dilemma - do you OPEN the windows to get air flowing and suffer through the noise of the early morning construction or suffocate in the heat of the apartment - only you can decide -we opened the windows and got ATE UP by mosquitos - it was horrible, bites EVERYWHERE -there is also a POP up market on the weekends just in the square outside your living room windows - its super good and super quaint, but LOUD - again, this goes to the whole "no AC, I need to open the window" dilemma...

Livia’s place is in a fabulous, quiet, leafy location, set away from the typical tourist zones. The property is very comfortable, quiet, and tranquil after a long overseas flight. The property faces a leafy square which maybe transformed into a market, flower market, dog meet up or for school children sport. Nearby cafes, restaurants and shops offer all that you could need. The hosts are ever so kind and helpful. Highly recommend.

Stairs to the property - 24 very narrow steps on a very steep angle.

Stunning apartment in a beautiful district in Amsterdam. Easy walking distance of all the main sights. Host was excellent and very attentive.

Only cooking facilities are a microwave but great places to eat nearby.

Location. 1 street removed from many restaurants, small shops, supermarket and tram stop. Tram 10 mins to Dam Square and Centralle Station and 15-20 to RAI Station. RAI is convenient for day trip to beach and Den Hague. The bathroom was updated and clean. The patio was a good size with furniture. The host left thoughtful gifts like a lush bath bomb, coffee pods, milk, chocolate and a bottle of wine.

Some minor things and I’m being picky; The space would be nicer if it was generally decluttered and all the “dust catchers” like burned down candles, fake plants, and fluffy pillows removed. A bit more detail to finer cleaning like stains from the sofa, lamps that were dusty, (although again, the bathroom was very clean). The hairdryer needs replacing, its switch is broken so it’s on high as soon as you plug it in and cannot be adjusted. A full length mirror would be useful. A booklet on how things operate, tv, microwave, etc would be useful. Just a heads up: there are no cooking facilities other than the microwave which we knew going in so not a problem for us.

Perfect host who met us early and gave us access to leave our bags as we arrived around midday. Friendly owner who made us feel very welcome. Beautiful quiet location with easy tram access to Centraal Station and a short walk to some great restaurants

Location was perfect! It was located on a quiet street yet within walking distance of places of interests and good restaurants. And the place is wonderful - the big windows in the living room, I can stay there all day! The bed was very comfortable. David, the property manager, was very responsive and accommodating.

If you are sensitive to noise, there could be a bit of noise from upstairs unit but very manageable.

It’s pretty much close to 4 and 12 numbered tram’s station. Apartment was very clean, fresh and full with our needs.

Stairs are pretty much steep as usual in Netherlands :)

The dealing of the owner of the house was very bad and we were forced to cancel the reservation and leave the apartment

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is beautiful and very spacious. Location was perfect, walking distance to all the great museums & so many nice food places & cafes around. The host was very friendly and had some great recommendations for us.

The apartment was really roomy with a super balcony and in an excellent location. The area was near enough everything to walk, but on such a quiet, leafy square. To sit outside in the sun before the apartment was such a pleasant surprise. I loved the Amstelveld. Great place to stay!
