Sehr gepflegte Unterkunft in der Nähe der beiden Strände Pasikudah Beach und Kalkudah Beach. Der letztgenannte hat uns total begeistert : menschenleerer, schöner, langer Sandstrand. Die Gastfamilie von Ashok war sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Das Sri Lanka-Frühstück war sehr lecker.

Es war rundum ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Zimmer war groß, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Das Open Air Bad war klasse, mit Blick auf Palmen. Die Lage war ruhig, aber man war zu Fuß gleich am Strand. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und sehr umfangreich. Der Gastgeber Ashok und sein Team waren alle sehr nett und man hat sich wohl gefühlt. Jederzeit wieder! Vielen Dank!

Alle 3 Zimmer dieser Unterkunft sind mit Zwischenräumen, so dass man seine Ruhe hat Der Raum war groß, sehr komfortabel und luxuriös designed. Das Bett war so breit, dass es für 3 gereicht hätte mit Honeymoon-Charakter, zudem mit schöner Hotelbettwäsche und vielen Kissen. Die Klimaanlage funktionierte excellent. Man bekam 2 Liter Wasserflaschen. Es gab sogar einen Fernseher, den wir aber nicht benötigten. Ich liebte die große Terrasse mit normalen Sesseln, Tisch und Liegestühlen mit Blick in den Garten. Im Garten bekam man das optionale Frühstück serviert, dass wir auf jeden Fall empfehlen können. Die Kommunikation war äußerst einfach und prompt direkt über Mitarbeiter oder per WhatsApp. Als wir mal Wasserflaschen zusätzlich haben wollten, sagten wir es einem Mitarbeiter im Garten und hatten sie wenige Minuten später. Der Weg zum Strand ist wenige Minuten, vorbei an typischen Sri Lanka-Grundstücken, einer Wiese mit Kühen und Strandabschnitt mit Einheimischen. Auch der Strandabschnitt war der Traum., sowohl zum Schwimmen, Sonnen als auch für Strandspaziergänge. Es sind dort nach links einige noble Hotels, wo man auch sehr gut essen kann. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wieder diese Unterkunft wählen.

Das Badezimmer könnte für europäische Verhältnisse sauberer sein, Boden, Spiegel, Badematten. Bei Zahlung mit Kreditkarte zahlt man Aufschlag von 3,75 %. Eine unserer Kreditkarten, mit der wir vorher und nachher an anderen Stellen problemlos zahlten, funktionierte dort nicht.

Ashok was a fantastic host. The room was of a great size and it even had a tray of snacks, perfect for those hungry teenagers. The rooms are set in a beautiful garden just down the road from the beach and restaurants. The breakfast was the best we have had- a great choice of Sri Lankan local breakfast dishes!

Excellente qualité du logement et des équipements.

Ashok e la sua famiglia hanno saputo accoglierci con estrena gentilezza e professionalità. Sempre attenti a soddisfare le nostre richieste. La struttura è recente (3 anni) ed è curata nei minimi dettagli. Molto ordinata e pulita con un giardino davvero accogliente dove poter fare colazione. La camera/bungalow è spaziosissima e comodissima. Letto matrimoniale king size più un letto singolo alla francese. Doppi cuscini. Materasso comodissimo con topper. Ampio specchio di fronte al letto. Acqua, caffè e tè sempre disponibili gratuitamente. In aggiunta è presente un kit di snack (pagamento extra). Il bagno è davvero particolare, rimane a tetto (tutta la stanza, incluso il bagno, ha travi in legno a vista), ma una parte del muro rimane aperta su un giardino di palme. Nonostante risulti wild, lo abbiamo trovato estremamente pulito e fornito di tutto il necessario. La struttura si trova a 5min a piedi dalla spiaggia principale, frequentata per lo più da local. Il proprietario si assicura di, una volta rientrati in camera la sera, chiudere il cancello con un lucchetto. Una premura che abbiamo apprezzato. La colazione molto varia ed abbondante, soprattutto quella singalese con opzioni sia dolci che salate. È possibile anche cenare in struttura, ma non abbiamo provato il servizio.

Sehr nah an beiden Stränden. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und bemüht einen schönen Aufenthalt zu ermöglichen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portion sind Riesig. Die Zimmer waren auch Sauber. Man kann es weiterzuempfehlen.

It's a lovely little guesthouse which is very conveniently located close to two beaches. The staff were all absolutely lovely. The room was a great size and very comfortable (the best pillows of our trip!). The food was very generous.

The sink in our bathroom was very slow to drain,.and the tap was a bit worse for wear.

Owner was very helpful and arranged a great tuk tuk of local area and Batticaloa. Can definitely recommend staying here if you want to get away from large resorts and support a local family. We also enjoyed the local breakfast served in the gardens.

We had a great stay here, with perfect local breakfast. The location is great between two beaches, all restaurants in walkable distance. The room was clean. Ashok and the boys are really nice and we were well taken care of. Will be coming back!

The perfect cozy stay in Pasikudah! Very spacious beautiful rooms with great outdoor bathrooms. The staff is really great and keeps the garden in daily shape. Ashok the owner is so friendly and helpful and the Sri Lanka breakfast is just delicious. Highly recommend!

Nous avons eu un petit interrogatoire par message le soir alors que nous dînions à l’extérieur notamment pour savoir à quelle heure nous allions revenir (il n’était que 21h) et nous avons trouvé le portail fermé à notre retour une demi heure plus tard … le propriétaire était visiblement déçu que nous prenions nos repas (petit dej non inclus et dîner) en dehors ! mais cela n’enlève rien à la qualité de l’hébergement .

Abbiamo passato due notti in questa struttura immersa in un bel giardino con camere spaziose e pulite. La colazione srilankese (a pagamento) è abbondante e buonissima. Ashok è stato gentilissimo e ci ha aiutato a trovare un autista per i nostri spostamenti, visto che qui Uber non funziona.

I prezzi per la cena sono un po' alti e per questo abbiamo deciso di andare altrove.

Das war ehrlich unser bester Aufenthalt in ganz Sri lanka. Das Zimmer war perfekt: sauber(!), groß, mit Klima und Ventilator, Klopapier, Wasserkocher, Frühstück war außergewöhnlich- alles was man braucht und noch viel mehr. Der Host ist sehr lieb, und nicht aufdringlich. Wir haben 5 Minuten vir Ankunft gebucht, wurden dennoch mit perfekt vorbereitetem Zimmer erwartet. Normalerweise bin ich zu faul für Bewertung, diese Unterkunft hat es aber verdient.

La location è buona, a pochi minuti a piedi dalle spiagge. Camere carine e personale gentile. Colazione nella media.

Wunder schönes Guesthouse mit tollem Garten in Pasikuda. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber und groß. Das Doppelbet ist riesig und super bequem, nirgends haben wir so gut geschlafen wie hier. Der Strand ist 2 minuten zu Fuß entfernt, Restaurants sind auch zu Fuß zu erreichen. Momentan gibt es nur 3 Zimmer, es sind noch 2 Zimmer und ein Pool in Planung. Das Dream Inn Guesthouse ist mit Sicherheit die beste Unterkunft in Passikuda, wir würden hier wieder buchen.

Lieu superbe, le jardin est tres beau, les chambres sont tres biens décorées, équipée, c’est tres propre. L’hote est d’une grande gentillesse et propose de tres bons plats. Nous recommandons sans problème.

Belle grande chambre dans un bungalow individuel avec terrasse, lit immense et confortable. Propre, bien équipée. Salle de bain agréable, douche avec paroi (rare au Sri Lanka). Joli jardin, bien entretenu Calme, bien située entre les deux plages (à quelques minutes à pied) Quelques petits restaurants proches accessibles à pied Ashok, l'hôte est très agréable et serviable. Nous avons fait une sortie snorkeling avec son papa, c'était sympa !

Établissement au calme. Chambre grande et propre et de bon standing, tout est neuf, charmante salle de bain à l’extérieur, frigo, très bon petit déjeuner, agréable jardin, proche d’une très belle plage et commerces. Option de restauration. Superbe accueil de Ashok. Je recommande vivement !

Dommage que le checkout soit à 10h, cela fait un peu tôt.

Personnel aux petits soins et emplacement tout proche des belles plages de Passikudah. L’établissement n’a pas de piscine mais les resorts proposent des forfaits transats/piscine avec vue mer à la journée. Amaya resort propose le lunch inclus à la prestation pour 20$ par personne.

Super Zimmer in einem wunderschönen gepflegten Garten. Die Besitzer sind sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war lecker und ausreichend. Die Lage ist super und man ist zu Fuss am schönen weitläufigen Strand. Absolut top! Die Betten waren auch sehr bequem.

Une très belle Guesthouse. Dans un beau jardin à quelques minutes de la plage , un joli bungalow très confortable, belle chambre, salle de bain extérieure , petite terrasse. C’est très calme et l’accueil d’Ashok est un plaisir , très serviable et chaleureux il fait tout pour rendre le séjour agréable. Bon petit déjeuner servi dans le jardin. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine. Nous recommandons.

L’orario della colazione richiesto non sempre viene puntualmente rispettato. Consiglio di far presente allo staff questa cosa qualora aveste orari inderogabili da rispettare.

Die Zimmer sind neu, absolut sauber und gut ausgestattet. Die Gastgeber sind überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend, wir haben uns von Anfang an sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und ausgezeichnet. In nur etwa 5 Gehminuten ist man am Strand von Passikudah. Trotzdem ist die Lage sehr ruhig. Die Unterkunft ist absolut zu empfehlen!

Prices for food are quoted in Euro. Not really a problem, but just new calculations to work out the prices of things.

It was very spacious, tidy and new. It also had a modern bathroom and shower. The yard was well landscaped and tranquil. The breakfast was also delicious and plentiful. The host was very welcoming and accommodating.

Open bathroom was a nice design but there were a few issues with the bugs.

Wir waren für drei Nächte dort und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Die Lage in direkter Nähe zum Strand ist super. Der Garten ist schön, insbesondere die Beleuchtung abends. Die Zimmer sind groß und komfortabel, das Bett riesig.

Uns persönlich waren die Preise für das Essen zu teuer, schade.

Die Anlage hat ruhige, große, saubere Zimmer in einem wunderschön angelegten Garten. Die Ausstattung ist super. Das Frühstück ist reichhaltig und lecker.

Ashok war ein sehr freundlicher Gastgeber und auch das ganze Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die ganze Anlage ist sehr schön mit einem großen Garten und viel Grün. Es gibt 3 Bungalows mit jeweils einem sehr großzügigen Zimmer und sehr schönen Badezimmern. Ein besonderes Highlight war das halboffene Badezimmer. Man kann ein sehr reichhaltiges und schmackhaftes Frühstück dazubuchen und wir haben auch einen Abend ein sehr leckeres Abendessen genossen. Wir können dieses Guesthouse jedem sehr empfehlen, der einen Aufenthalt in Passikudah plant. Beide Strände sind in kurzer Zeit zu Fuß zu erreichen und auch ein Shop und einige Restaurants sind in der Nähe.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour dans cette maison d'hôtes à taille humaine (3 bungalows). Ashok a été un hôte très accueillant, toujours à l'écoute de nos besoins (excursions, laverie, repas). Nous avons adoré le plat de crevettes géantes préparé par ses soins, un délice ! La chambre est spacieuse et il est très agréable d'avoir une salle de bain à ciel ouvert. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Der schöne Garten ist eine Ruhe-Oase und gleichzeitig Begegnungsort mit den anderen Gästen und Gastgeber Ashok gewesen. Er war sehr freundlich und präsent, man fühlte sich bestens umsorgt. Er hat uns das Taxi für die Weiterfahrt organisiert, was reibungslos geklappt hat. Das western Frühstück mit frischen Früchten, Fruchtsaft, Toast und Kaffee war lecker. Die Bungalows sind noch sehr neu und wirklich schön gestaltet.

Le lieu est magnifique, extérieur et intérieur et particulièrement propre et agréable. Il est situé a 5min a pied de la plage de passikudah et 10mn de la plage de kalkudah. Ashok est particulièrement gentil et attentionné et sa cuisine est très bonne. Il nous a arrangé une sortie en snorkling et notre trajet de départ à prix négocié. Les chambres sont spacieuses et la salle de bain est particulièrement agréable (des mieux organisées , propres et saines que nous ayons eu au cours de notre voyage). Nous recommandons fortement et encourageons Ashok dans son projet d'agrandissement.

Everything was just perfect. I stayed with my girlfriend (sadly just for one night) and what we experienced was just perfect. The Room - Clean, modern, really tidy and so much space for all of our luggage - same with the toilette room and the shower) The garden is just a beautiful Oasis with lots of areas to hang out and relax. The staff member's are so friendly and helpful with all requests which made out stay really enjoyable. For breakfast we were asked if we want to try their own grown bananas - they were so delicious 😋 Overall 10/10

A hidden gem in Passikudah – absolutely recommended! The Dream Inn Guesthouse truly surprised us in the best possible way. From the moment we arrived, the host was incredibly attentive, warm, and welcoming. We stayed in the spacious garden villa, which offered more than enough room for the three of us—our 9-year-old son even had his own bed. The room was spotlessly clean, air-conditioned, and equipped with a top-quality mattress that gave us two very restful nights. One of the highlights was the semi-open bathroom, beautifully integrated into the natural surroundings—functional, charming, and impeccably clean. We especially loved the peaceful little garden terrace, which opened up into a lovingly maintained garden and offered the perfect spot to relax. The location is also ideal—just a short 2 to 5-minute walk from several stunning and quiet beaches. Breakfast was another highlight. We chose the local Sri Lankan option each morning and were blown away by how delicious and authentic it was. In summary: a friendly host, excellent comfort and cleanliness, beautiful natural surroundings, and amazing local food. We only stayed for two nights this time, but we will definitely come back—and stay longer next time! Highly recommended!

We loved our 2 night stay here at The Dream Inn Guesthouse. The room had a beautiful aesthetic, was incredibly clean and very spacious. The grounds were lovely, creating a tropical oasis and a sense of calm. The staff were very attentive and friendly, always taking the time to chat with our little boy, sharing their Sri Lankan hospitality. The beach, just a short 5 minute walk away, was nice and calm, making it the ideal beach for swimming ☀️ Thank you for having us on our short, but sweet stopover in Passikudah.

Le séjour etait parfait! La chambre était spacieuse! Hashok cuisine très bien! Il nous a régalé tant avec les petits dejeuners qu avec les repas le soir! Avec ses employés ils ont été aux petits soins avec nous! La plage est seulement à 2 minutes a pieds! Un grand merci pour ce moment hors du temps!

The staff were all super friendly and helpful! Organised a taxi for us at a better price we would have got it for through uber and also recommended trips to us and offered them again at a better price we would have paid. The room was amazing with good a/c and very clean/new ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We only stayed one night at the Dream In but we wished we had stayed longer. The staff was so nice and helpful the entire time we were there. The breakfast they made was incredible and they provided fresh juice and local fruit. Their property is well kept and a great place to relax! The property is literally 2 minutes walking from the beach. Near the beach you can find resturants that offer great food. The Inn offers dinner but we didnt arrive in time to order. All in all, we really enjoyed our stay!

We didnt have a blanket that fit the entire bed, just a bottom sheet and two smaller light blankets. A large, doublesized sheet would have been perfect. Either way, we still had a comfortable sleep!

Ashok en zijn familie hebben een heerlijke sfeer weten te creëren op hun stukje grond, en dat binnen 5 minuten lopen van beide stranden (Kalkudah en Pasikudah). Drie prachtige verblijven op voldoende afstand van elkaar in een heel sfeervolle tuin, tegenwoordig incl. konijntjes! Ontbijt en diner zijn met liefde klaargemaakt en enorm qua porties ook. Ashok is een prettige persoonlijkheid om een praatje mee te maken. Heeft veel goede tips en praat met liefde over zijn guesthouse en de toekomstplannen. Wellicht dat we nog een keer terugkeren als het zwembad af is!

Ik zou persoonlijk flessen mineraalwater altijd gratis ter beschikking stellen aan de gasten (ipv tegen betaling).

The location is fantastic-- it's less than a 5 minute walk to the beach. Upon arrival we were greeted with fresh juice while our room was made spotless. The owner helped us arrange transportation, too. A very comfortable stay!

The local beakfast was delicious and provided every carbohydrate in the country-- I was only missing sambol and some protein options like chicken curry or an egg.

Der Garten war eine richtige Ruheoase. Die Unterkunft ist gut gelegen. Das Bett ist super komfortabel und das Frühstück war sehr lecker!

The owner and his brothers did everything to make our stay very enjoyable: They gave us fresh fruit juices at our day of departure when we didn't want breakfast in the early morning and they even grilled some fishes that we brought at no extra cost in addition to the dinner that we ordered. The rooms are clean and spacious and the 3 bungalows are in a small side street with a nice garden, so it's calm and green around. When the neighbour climbed his palm trees to collect coconuts, we also received fresh coconuts for free. The breakfast was rich and they also offered good dinner (a whole fish, prawns or crab). We took the fish for 13 EUR.

Nice house, like the pictures. Close to 2 beaches. Good airco.
