Distinctive Stylish and Spacious Family Home

Great host, home was exactly as pictured, very spacious and warm. Was perfect for a group ski trip, would stay again

The property was so comfy, we are a family of 10 and we loved our stay. The place is clean and warm when we arrived. There’s also a view of the mountain with snow at the dining perfect for when we are having our breakfast. It is also close to cbd. Plus the price is affordable.

We love everything.

The location was fantastic, lovely scenery. We had the whole house upstairs and downstairs to ourselves which was great so we could spread our family out. Great facilities (washing machines / bathrooms etc)

General upkeep of the property was below expectation. It is expensive to stay in Queenstown and although main living room was nice, there are lots of little maintenance jobs to do around the property that tarnish the overall feel. The property felt a little tired and there were large cobwebs hanging from the ceiling in most rooms which once again tarnished the feel of an amazing house.

The host of the accommodation was wonderfully prompt in contacting us when we had some questions.

The downstairs bathroom heater wasn't working, but that wasn't a problem since we used the upstairs one. Just wanted to let you know.

Plenty of space for 7 adults. When we arrived on a cold winter day, all the heaters and lights and lamps were on, it was very warm and welcoming. Heat pumps in every bedroom.

An earlier check in time would have been good but it was OK. Can see if someone had been staying the night before, you would need the time to clean

The email line "Please note checkout time is STRICTLY 10.00 am". Lines like this create negative thoughts in people's mind. We left the house before 10:00 am.

With comfortable step in when we reach the house. The house is with air conditioning on, they know it’s hot weather, which makes us very respectful.

If there’s more washroom, it would be greater

We loved our stay, the layout, location and view. The view of the lake was beautiful from the dining table. It was easy to travel to all our other activity locations; bunjee, winery tour, hike etc. The staff were very helpful, any queries we had was immediately answered. Safe neighbourhood

The entry door lock - we kept having issues. It worked the first few days but after that we couldn't lock the door. We contacted the staff at the beginning and they attended to it the same day but after that when the door couldn't lock again we just left it. It was a safe nughbourhood so we weren't worried.

There was a leak we reported and they fix the problem straight away.

The views from the home of the Remarkables were spectacular! There was lots of room for the family upstairs and downstairs. Parking was easy. Beds were comfortable.

The gas heater in the main lounge worked intermittently despite the instructions but once going brought great warmth to the home. Needed pegs for the clothes line and Vacuum cleaner needed maintenance to work.

The layout of this house is brilliant and was extremley well equipped! It was so spacious, tidy and very cozy! Was super warm and had alot of options for cooling on the hot days. The communication was really good and the hosts are really friendly. Will 100% stay here again!!!

For a large group like we booked for, there wasn't really enough basics such as towels and toilet paper.

I like the space and the view, The space and rooms are enough for my big family. The downstairs are perfect to have a separations from the kiddies and place for them to hang out.

I did not like not having pots and pans to cook with, the heater is so temperamental, it would not light if you needed it. big disappointmnet.
