It was a unique building full of charm and character. The owners were delightful and extremely helpful. We felt very welcome and well looked after. Dinner was delicious.

És un hotel molt familiar i tranquil i prop de Montreux, on s'hi pot arribar caminant o amb bus gratuit amb la tarja que et donen a l'hotel. Ah! I està a 5 minuts caminant del castell de Chillon. The view was fantastic and the staff friendly and very helpful.

La ubicación muy buena, en un entorno super agradable. El hotel era precioso y la habitación era espaciosa y cómoda. El desayuno estuvo bien y el personal fue siempre muy amable.

En plena ola de calor se hubiese agradecido contar con aire acondicionado o un ventilador, por lo demás todo estuvo bien.

Wonderful small hotel dating back to the early days of tourism in Switzerland. Located a little above the lake of Geneva, the hotel offers splendid views. The lake is at approx. 5 min walk. Absolute highlight was the management and staff who made us feel great at any time.

Due to the age of the building rooms are not totally noise free, but that is to be expected in a historic hotel. We slept very well nonetheless. I would less recommend this hotel for families with kids due to the lack of noise insulation

Het uitzicht vanuit de gemeenschappelijke tuin en het historische aangezicht van het hotel.

Voor meer dan 400 euro per nacht mag je (zelfs gedurende een druk bezocht evenement in Montreux) meer verwachten. We dachten dat ze ons per abuis de kleinste kamer hadden gegeven, maar de ‘normale’ tweepersoonskamer is dus gewoon erg klein. Na ons beklag te hebben gedaan, wilde de hoteleigenaar ons een andere kamer aanbieden; heel vriendelijk maar we wilden geen geste, we wilden waar we voor hadden betaald en als dat bij Swiss Historic Hotel Masson een kleine kamer met achterstallig onderhoud is, dan is dat het. De parketvloer is kapot, stekkerdoosje los, slappe dunne kussens, gordijnen hier en daar een gat, verf bladdert, vochtvlek op nachtkastje, kozijn in ontbijttafel rot. De kamer is niet iedere dag schoongemaakt. Toen we na vier dagen bij het uitchecken nogmaals onze ervaring deelden, kregen we als reactie dat het moeilijk is om aan al die hoge verwachtingen te voldoen. Terwijl wij juist niet kunnen bevatten dat je voor ruim 400 euro per nacht niet een voldoende basisonderhoud en comfort mag verwachten. Zelfs in Zwitserland.

評価の高いレストランで夕食も朝食もいただいたが、素晴らしいレベル。眺めは最高！テラスもお庭も良い！著名人もきっとリラックスしていたであろう歴史的な建造物でのんびり過ごせて良かったです！

The staff were very kind, friendly!

The room I was given was extremely small, stuffy, and uncomfortable. There was no air conditioning, and the only cooling option was an old very dirty fan placed on a table, which simply blew warm air around the room. The room itself was also not properly cleaned, and the pillow was extremely poor quality and very uncomfortable. Despite the temperature being around 40°C, the hotel did not offer any kind of welcome drink, not even a glass of water. In such hot weather, providing drinking water should be the absolute minimum expected from a hotel.

Auch wenn es alt und charmant ist, sollten Renovationsarbeiten nicht vernachlässigt werden. ZBsp lassen Zimmertüren Licht und Lärm durch.

It is really pretty. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating.

All of the stairs and no air conditioning. It is the oldest hotel in Montreux so one should not complain about air conditioning, I suppose. Also is up a hill so walking to hotel from bus stop was a hike up-hill.

The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. They rectified any problems quickly. We arrived later than planned and they kept the restaurant open for us. Off road private parking was appreciated.

It's "historic", I get it, but the rooms felt tired and there was no air conditioning. The wooden floors look lovely but creaked terribly. The showers were blocked in both rooms, although the staff got them cleared very quickly. There was an ant infestation in one of the rooms.

The room worked perfectly for three adults, great view, nice to have bath and tub. It was very comfortable. Great location and the Riveria card was a big help with riding the bus, seeing museums, and riding the boats.

I don’t have anything to comment on didn’t like, we enjoyed our stay.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Zimmer war gut ausgestattet. Die Betten waren sehr komfortabel und die Decken und Kissen auch. Sehr schöner Aussenbereich und Garten im Grünen zum relaxen.

Ich war ein wenig erstaunt dass Plastikblumen den Innenbereich des Hotels dekorierten. Der Balkon mit Seesicht wurde geteilt mit den Gästen vom Zimmer nebenan - Es gab keine Trennwand. Um 9Uhr wurde das Frühstücksbuffet bereits nicht mehr aufgefüllt und man erhaschte sich noch was übrig war. Das gesamte Hotel wirkte auf mich ein wenig müde.

Die Lage ist sehr gut, sowohl der Bus als auch die Bahn sind nahe beim Hotel. Sehr schöner Park mit der Möglichkeit, auf Liegestühlen zu lesen. Sehr gutes Nachtessen, zwar nur 1 Menu, dieses aber hervorragend gekocht.

In general, the hotel was nice and historic value. Staff were kind. The breakfast was good.

It is not looking at all like on the pictures... Some rooms are much different and not that classy.

Ich bin in diesem alten historischen Haus sehr herzlich begrüsst worden. Mir wurde das ganze Haus erzählt und rumgeführt. Der nette junge Herr sprach sogar deutsch ! Das Frühstücksbüffet war total liebevoll angerichtet und alles war lecker! Ich habe mich rundherum sehr wohl gefühlt! Wunderschöner Blick auf Berge und See. Und komme gerne wieder.

War grad eine Baustelle in der Nähe und die Autobahn ( Lastwagen)oberhalb, war gut zu hören. Aber in der Nacht war ruhig!

Breakfast was a cold one, not hot. Location was difficult to walk to with luggage using public transportation. Pillows were very flat, I had a sore neck.

Staff muito simpático principalmente as meninas que tratam do pequeno almoço e o rapaz do bar, localização próxima ao Château de Chillon, vista do jardim e da varanda do bar eram belíssimas, quarto com frigobar.

Pagamos por um quarto com varanda e ficamos num quarto sem, A “cama de casal” eram 2 camas de solteiro juntas, Tv do quarto apenas com canais em francês, Não há café ou chá de cortesia aos hóspedes, e os preços são altíssimos, Café da manhã ok, e items como ovos mexidos são cobrados a parte, Roupa de cama, mesa e banho com itens manchados ou rasgados, Janela da casa de banho sem privacidade, O hotel é muito barulhento, principalmente devido ao piso que range muito e carece de manutenção, Noite de sono péssima, Não há ar condicionado ou ventilador, O hotel realmente carece de manutenção e cuidado.

The location and quirky nature of the hotel is good. Monday's dinner was good and the wine section was also good.

There is no soundproofing between floors, so extremely noisy inhabitants above (about whom the hotel can have little control, other than perhaps to have prominent notices asking people to be considerate of those below them) ruined our final night of rest. The dinner on Wednesday night was also poor.

L'hôtel Masson est une pension emblémaatique de Montreux. L'établissement conseve un charme désuet. Le temps semble s'être arrêté...Les différentes salles et jardins se visitent comme autant de petits musées. Les chambres sont décorées avec soin et sont fonctionnelles. A noter, un petit balcon avec une vue plus ou moins ouverte sur le lac Lémand. A noter, la proximité des lignes de bus qui desservent rapidement le centre ville. La gare est également très proche de l'hôtel...

L'isolation phonique laisse à désirer mais je pense qu'il est impossible de remédier à cet inconvénient sans toucher à l'intégrité de ce magnifique bâtiment...

Schlafen wie beim Urgrosi. Unser Aufenthalt war toll. Sehr nette Besitzerfamilie.

Die Lage, das historische Haus, die knarrenden Böden, der friedvolle Garten, das köstliche Frühstück und das freundliche Personal machten für mich den Aufenthalt einzigartig.

Etwas ringhörig, aber das lässt sich wahrscheinlich nicht vermeiden.

Under staffed - whilst there was a bar on site there was never anyone manning it. We were able to find someone to sort out drinks though apart from one evening.

Sehr freundliches Personal und super Frühstück. Ich bin vor Jahren privat hier gewesen und habe nun beruflich bewusst einen Stop hier eingelegt.

Hätte gerne das nächste Mal wieder das Zimmer im EG neben dem Aussichtsbalkon . Ist so schön....

El encanto de su construcción y por su puesto las maravillosas vistas de donde está situado frente al lago y en alto.

La limpieza es horrible. De cara a lo visible muy bien, pero muchísima suciedad en zonas no de paso, mesita de noche, detrás de las camas... E incluso varias arañas sobre las camas. Tengo que destacar que el desayuno muy bien.

Hotel pintoresco,las habitaciones son de estilo antiguo y bastante grandes. La ubicación del hotel es muy buena cerca de una parada de bus y a 20 min andando del Castillo de Chillón. Las vistas desde la fachada donde se ubican las letras son espectaculares.

En 3 noches q hemos estado no nos ha hecho ningún día la habitación,mientras con la familia de amigos con la que viajábamos si.La limpieza en algunos rincones de la habitación brillaba por su ausencia. El desayuno los 3 días lo mismo y tenían muy poca variedad.
