The disrespectfully neighbors, their children were so loud banging and thumping on the walls all day and afternoon till 6pm we banged on the walls.

The view of the ocean was amazing.the apartment was comfortable and clean. Everything we needed was there. Staff were supportive.

Not enough warm bedding. No mats in cold concrete floor. Obviously designed for summer with no consideration for winter conditions. Arrived after hours , no Milk or heating on.

The pool and beach views

The rooms were absolutely dirty, beds not clean, one bed had bugs in it. Ended up getting flyspray to sort that out. left over food packets in the fridge. Floors needed a good hot mopping. Not clean at all.

Very spacious and good location. Modern amenities e.g. heat pumps and a great bathroom. Suitable for family groups!

Access barrier issues were a bit annoying (frosted up sensor) and parking was inundated with water during the rain. Had to park “in the way” of the main road and felt bad about it. Wasn’t immediately obvious from the advert it’s in the top 10 park. No issue but may be a surprise to some.

Last Saturday afternoon，I found that my room‘s door was unloocked.

Location was perfect, modern, clean and tidy while staring out to Waikanae Beach. So beautiful.

Fabulous location with wonderful sea views. Unit was well equipped and comfortable. We loved the covered outdoor area accessed through sliding doors from the lounge as it was well protected from the prevailing wind and meant we could sit outside and enjoy the evening

The kitchen had 8 water glasses but only 2 wine glasses. I had checked the website before we came to see if a Nespresso machine was provided so I could bring Nespresso pods from home but it wasn't mentioned on the list of appliances. When we got here there was a machine but I couldn't be bothered making a trip to the supermarket just to buy pods - perhaps the website could be updated with a note to bring your own pods. The guests next door returned from Speedway and were making a lot of noise even though the rules state quiet required after 10 pm and this is re-iterated at check in. Finally, after a couple of hours around midnight my sister rang the Night Duty Manager. To her credit she was very apologetic and acted very promptly. We wanted to wipe down the dining and outdoor table but there were no paper towels or spray and wipe provided. It would also be helpful to have some glad wrap provided. The floors had been vacuumed but not mopped and were very grimy to the extent that the bathmat was dirty underneath as were our socks and slippers - everything else was spotless.

Apartment was clean and tidy. It is a great location

One of the heat pumps didn't work and with the stone floors the apartment is quite cold. Couldn't find extra blankets anywhere, had to get them the next day. No frypan for the stove top only an electric frypan but the location of plugs for the jug, toaster and frypan (only 2) is located at the end of the bench with minimal bench space to house them.

Amazing facilities whatever your accomodationstyle. We stayed in the apartments and they were fabulous. Exceptionally well maintained and all staff very friendly and helpful

The Windows were dirty on the putside but to be fair would be a daily task to keep them clean when your by the beach!

Waikanae Top 10 is my go to place in Gizzy. I feel at home here, I know where everything is, the staff are amazing and very welcoming.

You need to add more security lighting between the apartments and walking over to the facilities. it was hard to see at night once the sun went down the path in front of me. Some big lightning would be good. Also the dining table in the apartment was very unstable and needs replacing.

Views and staff were great.

Only complaint was 3 bedrooms with 4 adults and only 1 bathroom mirror. Could possibly suggest a full length mirror on the back or behind the bedroom doors.

Location was fantastic and the apartments are beautiful. The staff were really friendly.

There is some noise from logging trucks transporting to the wharf, the park do offer free earplugs for this.

Super comfortable! Has everything you need including a Nespresso Coffee Machine. The lady at the reception is lovely and so helpful. Newish, spacious and perfectly set up, definitely a cut above the rest when it comes to apartment rentals. Furniture and appliances are all like new. Layout is well thought out and overall its really comfortable. Situated in a camp ground you also get built in entertainment watching all the campers. You are a short walk to the waterfront and its a lovely walk along the waterfront. The rooms are all spacious. The apartment backs on to the main highway which during business hours hosts a number of logging trucks. Every couple of minutes a truck goes by. Upstairs in the living area it is quite loud, whereas, downstairs it well done and the bedrooms are somewhat protected from the noise. The bathroom and stairwell absorb the noise.

The toilet was filthy and was not cleaned properly during our visit. the floors downstairs are all concrete and made the place (in April) a bit cold. We had to have the AC running when we were there to warm it up. There is no privacy with this unit. It is situated in the camp ground, which is entertaining, but you are also completely visible to the campers. As you sit on the lounge or at the dining table, in the kitchen, you are looking straight at the campers at their tables. The bedroom has a net curtain to give some privacy. The view was nice

Arrived to a late check in. Floors were not clean as it cause socks and feet turn black. Asked to have the issue resolved the next day unfortunately we returned back to the same problem black socks and feet. Asked again to have the issue amended by this time I’m annoyed & ask to make a formal complaint as the apartment became untenable.

There was nothing to complain about but the construction area was a little unsightly - however that will soon be finished so it can’t count against the property

Location is fantastic, so handy to Kiwa Pools. View is amazing, who doesnt love staring at the ocean. Great facilities within the park for families with kids.

Having bedrooms downstairs and living above, you can hear the noise from above in the bedrooms below so can be a problem trying to get kids to sleep while others are upstairs.

Apartment is awesome, fantastic location (close to the beach) with great views, awesome it is part of the holiday park so we are able to use all the facilities available in the park eg. pool, playground

Only one thing lets it down, the bedrooms are downstairs and you can hear everything happening upstairs from below so anyone walking around above could be quite a disturbance for those trying to sleep below.

We had a 3 bedroom apartment and it only had 1 bathroom with toilet would have been nice to have separate or additional toilet we had 6 adults otherwise couldn’t fault it

The unit was great for us. Very well equipped.

We didn't know that there was going to be so much construction work on. Felt a bit catfished when you consider when we thought we were coming to vs what was there. All was ok realt but just a shame not to be able to use the games room etc and to have to walk around all the work.

The view of the beach was phenomenal, we had some stellar sunsets. The facilities were great, very easy to get around, and overall the apartment was comfortable and well-located for exploring Gisborne.

We didn’t like the lack of plug points in the kitchen/living space, which made it a bit tricky when preparing meals. The apartment could also benefit from having some basic cleaning supplies available such as chux cloths and spray to help keep the space tidy. A fry pan would have been useful too.

The front reception was very welcoming and friendly, the apartments are well set out and clean. The beds are comfortable and cosy. The air cons are in great every room for comfort. The cook top was a little confusing at first but we worked out. The shower pressure is amazing. Could suggest having more then 1 mirror in the apartment. Had a great stay great for a large family also.

Great location with amazing sea views. Very quiet even though it's on a well used beach front. Easily accessible with off road parking. Very comfortable beds and a brilliant shower. Close to town and all amenities.

Could have been a bit cleaner. Felt the hard floors could've done with a really good wash.

Great location. Handy to beach, cafes, supermarkets, fuel stations...pretty much everything. The place was perfect for our two day stay and we would have liked to stay longer. Excellent kitchen facilities which was essential for our particular stay

The location was great and the view from the apartment was beautiful. The use of the other camping ground facilities such as the pool was a real positive.

The internet didn't work well in our room, including on the TV.

Fully equipped kitchen so we could do our own breakfast. Very handy location to the beach and restaurants.

Wifi was very slow poor. When a ship is loading logs, trucks are noisy throughout the night.
