Location was good, right next to beach. Pool is indoor, so it was warm and pleasent out of the wind and weather.

The location is handy! The cabin was spacious and clean. Partner said the new TV room was so awesome to watch the rugby, huge TV and comfy seating. The indoor pool and pedal carts were both real winners with the kids.

The biggest downfall for us..the door was unable to be locked from the inside and with a 2year old that wakes quietly during the night and also likes to let himself outside at any chance he gets, this stay made the nights stressful and sleepless. While the room was lovely and spacious it had minimal comforts, the single couch was a real squeeze to fit all 4 family members on in the evenings. We ended up leaving a day/night early which was super disappointing for our family holiday.

Its proximity to the beach and town and a great cafe not far. The unit was clean and tidy the reception was great with information. It was fenced right around.

I can't really say anything bad maybe replenish coffees and tea for guests daily

The security gate misread our swipe when trying to re enter the premises and we had to leave it parked outside for a wee while, then we tried again.

I like everything about Waikanae Top 10 it caters to all budgets gas heaps of things to do for kids and right on the beach...

Cleaning team were very good and friendly. I like the approach towards recycling and saving on unnecessary laundry. The place was lovely and quiet. The shop at the front looked well-stocked with convenient items. The signs around the site were easy to read and understand. I love that this holiday park is so close to the beach and to town/the shops/sights to see/things to do. I have good memories of the park. There's plenty of activities to do in the park and nearby. If you want a petanque/boules patch would be a good improvement and visitors can borrow a set from Reception. Heat pump was great.

In motel room 16, I wish there was a little light / lamp over the kitchenette area, where people chop and heat food. A person standing over the hob or sink blocks the ceiling light, but if a light was installed under the shelf, it'd be better. The heated indoor pool was luke warm to tepid. It'd be great to have a sign to say what the pool temperature was. The wifi was really hard to connect. Although front reception helped get my phone connected, I couldn't connect my laptop, so I ended up using all my personal data, which was an unplanned extra cost.

The location couldn't be better, eateries and shops were very close and even though it was in the city it felt private.

The beach is close, the room is really clean, and it was nice that the staff visited to check if we needed anything.

The room price was a bit higher than I expected, but I think it's a reasonable price.

It wasn't as clean as I expected it to be things could have been a bit nicer but all in all was an awesome stay. We will be back as its not our first time staying here.

The times indoor pool facilities were open, unsuitable for our requirements. Needed longer evening hours to 9pm not 7pm

We loved our stay, such a warm, modern space. Loved the soaps etc were a lovely touch, big pump bottles and great quality. Staff seemed a vibe, were so happy cleaning and laughing, so cool to see! Loved the electric blankets also!

The shower, nozzle kept moving up so had to turn the pressure down so it would stay in place. No mirrors in either bedroom for when bathroom in use. No plug for the kitchen sink.

Mum had a wonderful 90th Fish n chips birthday with just her kids and their fsmily. I can't fault this Top 10. Communication, excellent happy staff. Brilliant venue that caters all ages. Location is petfect, as we returned to our childhood playground. We have found our fsmily homestead. Highly reccommend. We had the Beach house, a 2 story suite and a ground 2 bedroom suite. Mum loved the memories madd by her mokopuna .

This property is great for kids, lots of things to do and feels very safe for them to go and play. Cabins are as you’d expect for a holiday park in terms of sizing, but clean and comfortable with everything you need. Reception ladies are incredible, very helpful, flexible and knowledgeable. Cleaning ladies are lovely too.

Some parts eg toddler playground still under renovation but will be great when finished. Pool not really heated. But still swimmable.

Everything about our stay was awesome. Location the rooms the pool and activities for my granddaughter.

Admin staff were frustrating. I paid in full online. Staff called me and said I still needed to pay a deposit on my room even though I had paid in full already. When we decided to stay on an extra night. We had to pack up our room to move then once we had packed the entire room up they came back and said we could stay in the room and didn’t have to relocate.

Waikanae Beach Holiday Park is a great place to stay. It offers a variety of rooms and activities. It is located on the beach front so its a short walk to the beach. It's only a 5min walk to the main township.

I loved the self contained unit that we stayed in. Very modern. Air conditioning was great on the very hot days. The grounds were easy to walk around and the facilities were easy to find and use.

The dryer wasn't working and that was ok cause we used the laundomat in town, this wasn't a biggie to us but would have been nice to do laundry at night after our wananga

The park was clean and the facilities that were open were well maintained and clean also. We loved the covered in swimming pool! This park is a city park so is close to the beach AND only a short walk to town. Comfy beds and stunning views. A relaxing break away with family.

There was a big renovation going on of a bathroom and kitchen block which we were unaware of before we got there, it would have been nice to know before hand, however this didn't worry us, and the other bathrooms were in great condition and kept very clean. These renovations need to be done and we appreciate they were being done before the summer months were in full swing.

Very secure facility and safe fir our kids to wander somewhat. Very comfortable, quiet and serene surroundings.

Great spot right next to the beack and across the road from a nice takeaways.. young and old people should like it . We booked a family apartment but the tv was fuzzy so we asked to be moved..the nice lady at reception helped us out We ended up in one of the motels much nicer . And where we would book again when we visit gisbourn. All n all a great place to stay and walk the beach at sundown

The Beach Bach was perfect for our stay with parking right outside. It is located close to the reception, pool, park and beach On entering after our long, hot trip we walked into a clean, tidy and cool space. Comfortable and roomy lounge area, kitchen was cool with ample seating and all the appliances you need. Rooms/beds were comfy and served there purpose. Room outside for outdoor dining and a great area for morning/afternoon walks right next to the beach with the Waikanae cafe across the road! The bathroom had a bath & shower which was lovely and extra towels etc were available in the cupboard if you wanted a quick swim in the pool. I would highly recommend for families big and small with your pet!

Some areas not available due to the much needed upgrades taking place during the week. I cant wait to see when its all complete.

The location was perfect right on Waikanae Beach with great amenities.

The constant logging trucks that went past every few minutes. The ground shook, our whole room shook at night from the noise. It was not relaxing at all. I felt really bad because the actual camp ground is fantastic.

Kleine maar goed efficiënte kamer. Dat gaat prima met alleen de kleine keuken als uitdaging bij het bereiden van maaltijden. De douche is wel het hoogtepunt want deze is heerlijk en super schoon. De faciliteiten er omheen zijn prima, trampoline, zwembad en kinderspeeltuin en dat vlak naast het strand. Je kan je eigenlijk niets meer wensen.

Keuken is erg klein en echt van het minimale voorzien. De twee pannetjes waren bijv. Zo klein dat je er nauwelijks genoeg spaghetti in kwijt kon.

The Queen bed was hard. May need to add mattress topper. Woke up woth sore backs.

great location close to town centre and great walking and running paths. Room was very good and comfortable. Beach was right there and lots of friendly locals out exercising. Overall every aspect was amazing.

The room servicing could have been better. Only 2 towels replaced for the 3 of us.(Got more from office. Not sure if cleaning was supposed to be done but it wasn't. That was the only thing that was a let down, Everything else top notch.
