The view is nice. The room we stayed at was big and comfortable but the bathroom was not clean and had a bad odour.

Far from a five-star experience The hotel advertises itself as a five-star property, but unfortunately, the service we experienced was below even a good three-star standard. The restaurant service was particularly disappointing. The food was always cold and of bad quality. The restaurant is like a canteen. Several waiters simply stood around while guests were left without basic items such as cutlery. When we asked for assistance, the staff appeared unwilling to help and just pointed at the cutlery and asked us to get it. The staff lacks training. They just stand around and stared at us making us quite uncomfortable. Basic hospitality should not require repeated requests—especially at a hotel claiming five-star standards. The hotel was also extremely stingy with basic room supplies, including towels. There were three people staying in our room, but only two towels were provided. We informed reception three times and requested an additional towel, but every request was ignored. By the end of our stay, we had still never received a third towel. We also requested mosquito-repellent liquid twice, but this was never provided either. The repeated failure to deal with such simple requests shows a serious lack of attention and care. It was also quite boring. They do not offer any activities except for a 7am walk. Maybe a high-tea or some cultural programs would be great considering the property is quite secluded and far away from Munnar town. While the property itself may look impressive, a five-star rating must also be reflected in attentive, professional and helpful service. Based on our stay, there is a considerable gap between the hotel’s advertised standard and the experience it actually provides. It’s sad because the hotel has so much potential but the staff really needs basic training.

They don’t tell you that the basic rooms are not in the property and a little lower with a bit of a climb to the main property area. Also the spa was literally a scam and the worst we have ever had anywhere. Their steam bath wasn’t working and they still charged us the whole amount. And they had expired food products in the room for consumption

The peaceful location, beautiful surroundings, and relaxing atmosphere were the highlights. The resort was comfortable, well maintained, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We have not enjoyed campfire as the heat was not coming out properly. No one spent time there as that was a bit disappointing.

Our stay at Le Montfort Resort in Munnar was fantastic. The property has a great location with super views of the surrounding hills and plantations. Everything was very clean, the facilities are top-notch, and the beds were extremely comfortable. Perfect place for a relaxing getaway

Excellent property, very helpful staff. The location is great, a perfect gateway from the bustling city vibes. There are a few improvements needs to be done in terms of Gym, spa facilities. Overall, it was really good.

Very beautiful & scenic location. Probably only property in Munnar with such wide area. Play area for kids makes it very kids friendly. Every staff from reception, security, house keeping, restaurant, massage Centre(Nidhin & Jain) were amazing. Another good point is the way our driver was taken care with his stay & food, special appreciation. the property manager was visible across taking care of the details. Location has no mobile network but WiFi is well covered.

Not many but as suggestions for improvement, considering the terrain & scenic location it’s bit difficult to reach out to the place. There are 2 roads shown by map, always prefer the road through Munnar town. Resort should guide the visitors on this. The resort rooms are located at different levels due to the landscape, the steps are steep which makes it difficult to move around for elderly & with people having knee issues. Buggy is available but takes time. More reliable technology could be used. Lastly the swimming pool should be heated as Munnar is mostly cool.

It was very clean; pretty location, calm and relaxing. Staff was friendly and supportive.

They didn’t really give us good recommendations and guidance for places to visit and activities to do outside the resort. They can partner better with local tourist attractions and make it easier for guests to visit these places.

Very good service from reception staff.. They upgraded us without charge as we wanted a ground floor room. Anamika and Vikash in the restaurant provided very good service.

Resort had quite a few steps so may be difficult for some guests.

the view and ambience was great.The staffs were very professional specially Miss Ambika from the restaurant and dinesh and mina from front desk.They were super helpful and courteous.

Amneties need to improve and food menu and a little bit more on cleanliness under where it is not visible.the washroom was tiny n floor was wet all the time.

Really loved our time at Le Montfort. The staff was super warm and helpful, and the food tasted great. The views of the misty valley are just beautiful. Such a peaceful place to unwind—definitely recommend it!

The only slight downside is that the approach road leading up to the resort is a bit narrow and bumpy, but once you arrive, the peaceful property completely makes up for it. Definitely recommend it!

The property is located at the top of a hill, and it overlooks an amazing view of the mountains and valleys around. The staff were exceptionally friendly, and really went out of their way to make us comfortable. We felt no need to leave the resort during our stay, the indoor and outdoor activities kept us well entertained. We particularly enjoyed using the badminton court that offered a spectacular view.

I liked indoor and outdoor games as well as a peaceful stay in our room. Food was excellent.

This place is like Eden. Hidden, tucked away, in the middle of the clouds. Completely magical and dreamy. It's self contained, so you don't have to step out for anything.

The food was good, but not great. But Munnar isn't known for its food, so it's fine. That was the only thing I wasn't too kicked about. Everything else was great.

The location was amazing although a bit away from the market area but that’s what makes it more special. The staff was extremely courteous and kind. The property is really good, very clean and good amenities.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like. In terms of what can be improved. More options in breakfast spread and more Signages may be every 200 meters till property would have helped. Since the property is at the fag end of the road, it constantly keeps you wondering if you are on the right track.
