Reviewed Apr 19, 2026Our second stay at this charming cottage. We love the style and warmth . It has been decorated and furnished so well . Exceptionally comfortable beds . The grounds are stunning and it’s lovely to see them developing and taking shape . Such an easy walk to the shops and cafes . Very well stocked fridge and cupboards .

Reviewed Mar 26, 2026We loved the little creature comforts - the makings of, not just a continental breakfast, but bacon and eggs with baked beans if we wanted. There was a bottle of wine, chocolates, juice, bottled water, chippies, etc. The bathroom contained everything we might have forgotten to bring - disposable razors, cotton balls, cotton buds, etc and the hand and body washes and shampoo were top notch. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.
There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Che Bella was very comfortable with everything that you would need. The hosts have done a wonderful job with presenting the cottage. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. The hosts welcomed us with a well stocked fridge which was a nice surprise after a long journey. 2mins walk to the Martinborough centre & 10mins bike ride to the vineyards made it a fantastic location to stay.

It was a short walk to the shops and cafes and a short drive to the vineyards. Peter was extremely responsive. We loved it and would happily return.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2025Amazing home . Attention to detail is next level . Beautiful fixtures and furnishings . Private and Quiet location . Off street parking . Bed so comfortable . The provisions left in the fridge were so very generous . Loved that we walked five minutes and we were in the square with all the shops , bars and restaurants. Two minutes to the movie theatre . The gardens are stunning with plenty of spots outside to sit and relax . The house has a great kitchen and bbq is available . Loved the claw foot bath a week ago but of luxury at the end of the day . Great communication with the owner.

Reviewed Feb 27, 2025I was blown away with how beautiful this home was. It was so clean and furnished beautifully, along with a gorgeous landscaped yard. You truly felt spoilt by the personal touches, with the chocolates on arrival and a well stocked fridge for breakfast. The location is superb, only a mins walk away from the local 4 square and local cafe/restaurants. Peter was an absolute delight to deal with, always communicating with you, and even went above and beyond to send us things we had left behind. This home is gorgeous and comfortable, the pictures actually don't do it justice!

Reviewed Feb 6, 2025Loved the location, and the house is just fabulous. There are plenty of options in the fridge, which we could help ourselves to if we wanted. This was a nice touch, as was the little bowl of chocolates!
I'm allergic to feathers, and the duvet and pillows unfortunately contained feathers. I mucked through with the one normal pillow and the throw. I found the bed very high to get into.

My dress that I had packed for the wedding was little wrinkled and there was no iron.

Reviewed Sep 22, 2024Great location. Great selection of breakfast food and overall food and drink items 😊 Would have appreciated being advised of what type of breakfast food i.e. cereal, yoghurt as well as for cooked .
Would have appreciated easy read printed instructions for appliances. Heated towel rail would be good, simple stick vacuum and there only seemed to be one tea towel and no hand towels!

The kitchen was fully stocked with supplies, milk, bread etc - embarassed that we didn't eat it all!! And a big thanks to Peter for taking time out to sort the TV out for us, greatly appreciated. Would totally recommend Che Bella.
