I love the location

There are mosquitoes at the lobby area, the wifi connection in Room 819 was weak.

I like to location as its just opposite the Thamrin City.

The breakfast spread was not much variety and the taste was not to my liking. The hotel spa is terrible. I can hear noises from the outside and upstairs.

Right opposite Tamrin and down the road another big mall. The room was spacious enough. Breakfast had a good selection. Just nice.

The massage session was so-so

Location. It's good that it was close to the main mall but it was also noisy.

The breakfast is delicious and varieties. The chef are friendly and the location is near to the strategic shopping areas such as Thamrin City, Grand Plaza Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia and etcs. The staff and the services are friendly and helpful.

THe breakfast spread is great.

We were upgraded to a suite. Unfortunately, the facilities in the suite has to be improved. There was no place for the shower gel and shampoo. As a result, both had to be placed on the floor. Also, there was no place to plug in the kettle. The socket point is inside the cabinet together with the mini bar fridge.

Its strategic location - very near to Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia and Plaza Indonesia. The room is spacious and the bed and pillows are plushy and comfy. The staffs also are warm and friendly. Always greet us with friendly smiles :)

Some room for improvement - On the first day of our arrival, we noticed the shower drain was clogged. Informed the front counter and they came to repair it promptly once we're back in our room. The shower head also may need to be checked as well as the handle to the other shower. Breakfast was okay - can do better. They stop to replenish food at 9.30am whereas the breakfast slot ends at 10.00am.

The lobby was cosy. The food was not bad but it was not replenished until we asked.

We dont feel welcomed. Nobody around to greet us unlike other hotels where concierge reception doorman everywhere got staff standing and greeting. Only reception staff is around. From day 1 to day 5 nobody at the main door. It wasn't an auto door nor open door so everyday we have to pull & push the heavy door handle. We asked for extension of 1 room out of 2 rooms for an hour but only 30mins given saying that is their policy after which there will be charges. We asked for hand towels were told not provided by hotel so we asked for just an extra bath towel to replace the former was told there will be charges. We had 2 hrs free extention for 2 rooms from previous hotel but no exception at Maia. Only 2 pillows provided for our king bed unlike other hotels 4 pillows. We dare not ask for more else the answer will be there will be charges. Bed was good but pillow was too soft to sleep on given only 1 pillow each. Toilet cleaning can be better. Collection of deposits upon checked in I think was unnecessary as most hotels do not ask. Maia dont seem like 4* at all never expect such vibes and treatment.

La colazione era prevista fino le 10 e noi, e altri clienti, che siamo scesi verso le 9.40 avevamo poca scelta, hanno fatto fatica a rifornire i cibi rimanenti, e abbiamo dovuto chiedere. Pensavamo invece che essendo fino le 10 le dosi sarebbero comunque state rifornite.

The location is near to Thamrin City Mall and Grand Indonesia mall. The staff were very polite and helpful. The security guard was helpful to bring grab food to the lobby.

The lobby has a very strong Jasmine smell which was not to our liking. May want to change to something more pleasing to the majority. Placing a glass container of plain water or offering plain water or tea would make the wary travellers experience more welcoming.

Overall, our stay at Maia Hotel was enjoyable. The hospitality from all the staff was excellent, and they were always friendly and helpful. The breakfast offered a good variety of food options, and the hotel's location was a major advantage, with a shopping mall within walking distance.

However, there is room for improvement in terms of cleanliness, particularly in the toilet and bathroom areas. Guests should also note that iron are only available upon request and can be used for a maximum of 30 minutes.

The hotel is nearby shopping attractions such as Thamrin City, Grand Indonesia, Plaza Indonesia. Just a walking distance. Other places like Tanah Abang, Block M, Plaza M, and Plaza Pasaraya. Recommended to stay here if you are planning for shopping

Only one thing I dislike. The water stagnant on the floor of the toilet. Turning on the blower to make it dry, but nothing happen. Just that.

Beautiful hotel, grand lobby, large breakfast area. We were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a suite room for our 2 night stay. The staff were very helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and always smiling 😊 The room is large, well decorated, bathroom is large and the lighting is bright. The bed is king size and very comfortable. There's even a sofa next to the bed so you can sit and watch movies on the smart LG tv . Breakfast is yummy with menu change daily. Great location, very near Thamrin City, Grand Plaza and Plaza Indonesia where you can shop till you drop and take a bite at the many food outlets or try some street food. There are so many places to visit and they are quite close. Excellent service, great hotel, great location and we will definitely stay at this wonderful hotel again. Fully recommend it.

Nothing really....if I had to pick, it's the wifi connection. Unfortunately, our room is not close to the wifi routers located on the corridor, so the signal strength is low.
