Reviewed Sep 1, 2026The host was really nice and helpful. He helped us with everything and showed us a lot about the culture. The whole experience was amazing. The hotel is very clean and it’s really close to a wonderful beach (5 minutes walk). I really do recommend!!!!

La camera è essenziale e non forniscono doccia schiuma e shampoo. La posizione è a circa 5 minuti di macchina dalla parte bella della città e del mare. Assicuratevi di poter pagare con bonifico o di avere contanti perché a volte la carta non viene accettata

È una stanza basic, con solo l’essenziale (non forniscono neanche il doccia schiuma). Per una camera da due ci avevano messo solo un’asciugamano e una bottiglietta d’acqua. Vicino al mare ma non alla parte bella e attrezzata. Abbiamo avuto problemi con il pagamento con carta.

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026El alojamiento es grande, con verías plantas. Es un lugar tranquilo y la habitación estaba muy bien. Nos dieron bolsas de café y un calentador de agua. Había servicio de limpieza de la habitación todos los días y cambio de toallas los los días. Se agradece. Está a unos 20 min caminando de Uppuveli beach, que es una de las mejores playas para estar y más turística. A escasos 5 minutos andando hay una playa, con un chiringuito que tiene tumbonas disponibles. Es una playa mucho más tranquila que las otras y menos turística, lo cual se nota en la limpieza de la playa. No estaba especialmente sucia pero si había diferencia con respecto a Uppuveli. Para cenar ese establecimiento de la playa está genial, buenos precios y comida tanto tradicional como más europea. En las inmediaciones de la zona no hay mucho para cenar a parte de este chiringuito y uno un poco más caro al lado.
La ubicación. Si buscas estar cerca de Uppuveli Beach y un ambiente más costero busca otro alojamiento. Si prefieres un lugar tranquilo, este lugar está bien

Reviewed Aug 13, 2026Das Zimmer hat mir sehr gut gefallen. Es war sauber und hatte alles, was man braucht. Das Personal war freundlich und die Unterkunft war sehr einfach zu finden..
Das Schlimmste war, dass man vor Mitternacht kaum einschlafen konnte. Es war im Hotel extrem laut, unter anderem, weil die Türen beim Schließen viel Lärm gemacht haben. Die Fenster waren zudem schlecht isoliert, wodurch man jedes Geräusch von der Straße gehört hat. Jeden Morgen um 4:30 Uhr konnte man das Gebet von nebenan unfreiwillig, aber klar und deutlich mitverfolgen. Außerdem konnte der direkt angrenzende Strand nicht genutzt werden, da er völlig mit Müll übersät war. Sollte man sich für dieses Hotel entscheiden darf man nicht empfindlich für Geräusche sein oder man nimmt Ohrenstöpfel mit.

What stood out the most was the staff; they were extremely attentive and their hospitality was exceptional. From start to finish, I was completely satisfied with everything. This vacation has given me some wonderful memories!"

Es fehlt definitiv ein Aufzug, da die Zimmer in der obersten Etage liegen. Für ältere Leute mit Rollstuhl oder Gehhilfen nicht geeignet.

The bed provided a great night's sleep, the AC worked perfectly, and the TV was a nice touch. I also loved the bathroom, which was very clean and had great hot water pressure. A special shoutout to the receptionist, who was so polite and helpful during check-in. Will definitely stay again!"

Its not a hotel, it's a wedding venue that has rooms on the 2nd floor. No lift, and no one helps with your bags, there's no hot water, there is no restaurant (advertises as having one), there's no coffee shop (also advertised), no coffee or tea in the room and even if you had your own, there are no cups to drink with. The sink tap was also broken and the door to the bathroom had some form of plastic wrap peeling off it. Definitely wouldn't stay again.

- Hotel molto rumoroso: si sente tutto quello che succede nelle altre stanze e in corridoio e la mattina presto (4/5 del mattino) c’è un altoparlante che trasmette una preghiera ad alto volume - Non esiste una spiaggia privata - Le camere non sono dotate di balcone privato - Nelle camere non c’è acqua calda e la doccia grande era rotta, quindi era possibile utilizzare esclusivamente il doccino

Room was quite cramped and didn't have much hot water. WiFi was intermittent.

En el checkin no nos explicaron nada, es un hotel pequeño pero los recepcionistas no te hacen mucho caso, pedimos un cafe para una mañana ya que teniamos excursion y el responsable dormia. No sale agua caliente en la ducha... es una unica posicion de temperatura ambiente No sirven nada de comida

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025Het personeel van het hotel was onwijs vriendelijk, gastvrij en behulpzaam. We werden heel goed ontvangen en bij elke vraag die we hadden, hielpen ze ons meedenken. In onze badkamer hing een vreemde geur en het personeel kwam gelijk controleren en boden ons een andere kamer aan. Dit had voor ons niet eens gehoeven, maar we namen het aan zodat ze het probleem konden verhelpen. Ook hebben ze hier een wasservice die naar behoren wordt uitgevoerd en niet al te duur is.
Om bij het hotel te komen moet je een aantal trappen op en af. Als je slecht ter been bent, kan dat lastig zijn maar dit was voor ons geen probleem.

Reviewed Aug 10, 2025No tienen agua caliente y no te lo indican al hacer la reserva. El personal fue atento y predispuesto pero no nos ofrecieron una solución justa. Ademas, algunos colchones eran muy incómodos. Para intentar evitar reseñas negativas, no registraron la estancia en booking hasta que ellos e comunicaron con el alojamiento.

We durfden niet naar binnen toe..🫣Wij de receptie gebeld.. En ze stonden klaar.. jammer genoeg voor niks..🤭Het bleek de wind te zijn die tegen het plafond ging..
Met de Uber ben je zo in de stad. Het ligt iets verder weg.. Voor ins geen probleem. Misschien voor andere wel

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025Eerlijke waarheid over 3 nachten in dit hotel. Toen we aankwamen in dit hotel, moesten we zelf ondervinden dat je naar het derde verdiep moest gaan. Na inchecken werd ons een wc rol en een blokje zeep in de handen geduwd. Kamer op zich viel op eerste zicht mee. Maar na een douche of doorspoelen in het toilet, rook heel de kamer naar riool. Om 3 u snachts, onze eerste nacht, werd er op een box in de gang een gebed afgespeeld. Tweede nacht werden er om 4 u snachts wat leek op kartonnen dozen verhuisd. En onze laatste nacht werden we om 1 u wakker gemaakt door gelach en luid gebabbel in de gang. We kwamen voor rust om onze vakantie uitgerust te beeindigen, maar kregen dit niet.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2025La chambre est climatisée, le personnel est gentil, possibilité en supplément de laver le linge très rapidement. Accès à la plage, et en journée depuis la plage vous pouvez marcher jusqu'à celle d'uppuveli.
Le quartier est assez excentré des quartiers touristiques, mais en tuktuk vous pouvez facilement rejoindre les points touristiques de trinconmalee et les plages. Assez bruyant la nuit, prenez des bouchons d'oreilles et ce sera beaucoup mieux !

I changed my travel dates several times, and they handled everything with such kindness, flexibility, and professionalism. What impressed us most: Any questions or wishes we had were fulfilled immediately – always with a smile and genuine warmth. This family truly found a place in my heart. Saying goodbye was emotional — they’ve become like part of our own family. If I ever return to Trinco, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. We’re already looking forward to seeing them again!

Que no hi havia ascensor i no posava enlloc de la descripció. No es veia el mar i a les fotos si que sortia.

Niet heel schoon en er lagen nog spullen van de vorige gast in de kledingkast. Veel (bouw) geluiden s’avonds, heel luid! Maar was lage prijs dus je kan ook niet heel veel verwachten. Tip voor hotel is om de kamer & badkamer goed na te lopen en schoon te maken!

When we arrived there was a wedding and we could have lunch for free from the buffet, that was so good!
