Entirely my fault for not spotting it, but do note that this place has a fan but no a/c. This was challenging for a Brit on a hot day of the year!

Reviewed Jun 13, 2024My stay at the Sun Garden Cottage was fantastic. What I liked most about it was that it was very close to UJ, the neighborhood was quiet and serene. The cottage was exactly as it was in the pictures. The host Nell is truly the most wonderful person on earth, she was attentive and checked on me throughout my entire stay. I was so comfortable and warm that I forgot my purpose for being there was to study.

As always, Nell is an excellent host that goes over and beyond to make sure that you as the guest are comfortable and in want of nothing, and keeps you updated as to what's going on around. I love everything about the place, from the peace and serenity of the garden to the coziness of the cottage. It feels like stepping into a time warp of comfort and relaxation...
