Dopo la prima notte, per un errore effettuato dall host ci hanno spostato di camera, per una meno bella. La colazione era costituita solo da: un succo, del pane, delle uova e della frutta.... rispetto a quanto pagato e a tutte le strutture dove abbiamo alloggiato in sri lanka questa è la peggiore.

Hotel zaniedbany a i tak wymieniliśmy za dopłatą pokój na niby najlepszy , w pokojach brak wody do picia, szklanek, zamiast drzwi do łazienki i ściany firanka, śniadania średnie, leżaki na plaży zbite z desek. Wieczorem przy hotelu są spalane śmieci - również plastik więc mieliśmy widok nie tylko na ocean ale też na ognisko…Przy płatności zostaliśmy oszukani, właściciel wbił w terminal wyższą kwotę co zobaczyliśmy dopiero gdy weszłam na konto bankowe. Kontaktowałam się w tej sprawie i napisali że oddadzą pieniądze mam tylko dać dane bankowe, minął miesiąc i nadal nie zwrócili pieniędzy - słabo - w całej Sri Lance było pięknie i w żadnym hotelu nie mieliśmy problemów a ten na koniec pobytu wyjątkowo nas rozczarował i pozostawi duży niesmak.

The laocation and the host, Deeshan, were both amazing! The beach is so quiet there - it’s like a private beach.

We liked everything although a fridge to which we had easy access (even a communal fridge) would have been great (although Deeshan was happy to provide cold water when he was around)

The host n hostess were nice indeed. The beach front was good.

The hotel is at end of Hikkaduwa with no restaurants in the neighborhood. I booked a room with balcony but all balconies overlook the busiest, noisiest road in town. I was moved to a small room for the same price. No cleaning, no information flow, no staff, the owner n his wife do everything. There are only 2 big rooms with ocean view.

What a find! The most fabulous place right on the beach near everything. And the food is sublime.

Beautiful place right on the beach. I am en elderly woman traveling alone and I must say i cuold not have made a better choice. Safe, clean and friendly. Deeshan goes out of his way to make sure you are allright. He also aranged a trip to Ella for me and it was fabulous. Deeshan also communicate very promt and friendly before my stay, reasuring everyting is in place. This place makes you feel like the most important guest. I will stay here again at the next opportunity.

The hotel is beautifully situated little outside the real crowded area of Hikkaduwa. The owner and his wife are kind and welcoming, they aim to give you the best experience possible. If you want, it's possible to enjoy a home made dinner. Also they help you navigate all the different things the town has to offer so you don't end up in a tourist trap. Breakfast was either the English style, what you get all around Sri Lanka, or a beautifully prepared Sri Lanka style breakfast. But the best are the sunsets at the beach ❤️

Wir hatten ein riesiges Zimmer mit Meerblick. Der Balkon mit Sitzmöbeln war schön. Es gab Moskitonetze und Kühlschrank.

Im Vergleich zu anderen Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten,die wir auf unserer Reise genutzt haben, war dieses Hotel etwas lieblos eingerichtet. Es gab kein Shampoo oder Duschbad. Die Dusche sah modern aus,lieferte aber kaum Wasser.... Das Preis -Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nach unserer Meinung nicht. Generell ist in Dodanduwa durch brennende Müllhaufen dicke Luft,was schon störend war ( am Abend).

Cudowne miejsce. Z całego pobytu na Sri Lance to miejsce wspominamy z największym sentymentem. Atmosfera wręcz rodzinna. Pokoje czyste, widok na morze spektakularny ❤️ właściciele to wspaniali ludzie (już tęsknimy :) ) zawsze pomocni. Pyszne śniadania w stylu Lankijskim. Polecam z całego serca.

I stayed for 2 weeks and I can say I'm in love with this place! All new facilities (silent AC etc), proximity to the beach (like several meters), cleanliness, location is close to the fish market (one could buy and order fish prepared differently at the hotel), quietness, no insects spotted, while not that far from the turtle beach. Amazing staff, whom I'm missing already dearly. There's a lake nearby (10 minutes away) on foot, where one could do some Kayaking for 1000/h Ruppies with scenery views. As a tempted traveller I can say that the place is indeed the perl in the Indian ocean.

Наше пребывание в этом отеле превзошло все возможные ожидания! Это именно то место, о котором хочется рассказывать и куда мечтаешь вернуться снова и снова. Номер — просторный, роскошный, с потрясающим видом на море, от которого захватывает дух. В отеле идеальная чистота👍 чувствуется настоящая забота о гостях. Отдельного восхищения заслуживает персонал: невероятно добрые, искренние, внимательные люди, которые делают всё, чтобы ты чувствовал себя как дома. Завтраки готовят в любое удобное для вас время,всегда вкусно👍 Но самый трогательный и незабываемый момент — это сюрприз от хозяина отеля и его супруги. В честь дня рождения моего мужа они приготовили для нас настоящий шриланкийский ужин, накрыли шикарный стол, и всё это — абсолютно бесплатно, в качестве подарка. А в завершение вечера нам вынесли большой праздничный торт со свечами. Это было настолько душевно и трогательно, что эмоции переполняют до сих пор. Этот отель — лучшее, что случилось с нами за всё путешествие. Огромная благодарность хозяевам и всей команде! Мы в полном восторге ❤️

Das Hotel liegt direkt an einem ruhigen Strand. Das Personal ist sehr nett und bemüht z.B. wurde ein Dinner Abends angeboten (es gab Fisch gegrillt am Beach). Auf Nachfrage wurde sogar extra 2 Bier im Supermarkt besorgt! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt!

Leider war auch nachts teilweise der Verkehr zu hören. Wir hatten ein Zimmer Richtung Straße. Ob dies bei den Zimmern Richtung Beach zu hören ist, wissen wir nicht. Zudem wäre für die Damen ein Mülleimer direkt im Badezimmer geschickt. Ansonsten alles super!

Кто любит тихий и уединенный отдых на берегу океана-отель идеально расположен! Достаточно чистый пляж, свои лежаки, иногда бывают сильные волны.

Pros- We loved our stay at Kavin beach resort. Rooms are spacious, staff and owner extremely well behaved and helpful. Modern interiors, the beach in front of the resort was fantastic, very picturesque. Sunsets from our room was exceptionally beautiful.

Cons- The top floor family room facing the ocean didn't have a separate bathroom/ toilet. It's just an extension of the bedroom with curtains separating the area. No wall/ no doors. The bathing area/ toilet was literally two steps away from our bed without any separation which we found unhygienic and not to our taste. When we told the owner about we not being comfortable with this, he graciously offered another bathroom which was in the next room to be used by us. But even that bathroom had issues with water being accumulated in the after every shower and we had to wipe/ mop the floor after every use. This whole bathroom issue was a bit messy, except that everything was good.

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt im Kavin Beach Hotel. Der Besitzer und seine Frau sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Genau so das restliche Personal. Die direkte Lage am Strand ist super. Das Zentrum von Hikkaduwa ist leicht mit dem TukTuk zu erreichen. Wir würden es auf jeden Fall wieder buchen.

Peaceful location at the end of the beach. The owner and staff were very friendly and helpful. The family room on the top floor has an incredible view, it was nice to wake up to the sound of the waves in the morning. There are shops, a Buddhist temple, a couple beach restaurants and a local fishing market within walking distance, and the town is a short drive away. The room was very well cleaned and the property is well maintained. There are chairs on the beach.

Kavin Beach Hotel is a real gem. The location is fantastic, it’s truly beachfront and on a lovely, quiet stretch of beach but still very accessible to the livelier parts of Hikkaduwa by a long walk or a quick and inexpensive tuk-tuk ride. My room was spacious and very clean, with good fan and AC. The owners are so incredibly kind and accommodating, here to help with whatever you need and lovely just to chat with as well. I originally booked for two nights but stayed for four and would definitely stay again if I’m back in Hikkaduwa.

Doskonała lokalizacja tuż przy samej plaży. W pobliżu znajdują się sklepy oraz restauracje, co jest dużym udogodnieniem. Właściciel bardzo miły i pomocny, zawsze chętny do pomocy. Jedzenie bardzo smaczne- śniadania jak i kolację , a pokoje i łazienki czyste oraz zadbane. Bardzo dobry stosunek jakości do ceny. Zdecydowanie polecam pobyt w tym miejscu.

Der Gastgeber und die Mitarbeiter sind super. Zu jeder Zeit hilfsbereit. Als ich krank geworden bin, hat man sich sehr gut um mich gekümmert. Wenn man eine Frage hatte, konnte man dem Gastgeber immer schreiben. Auch Extra Wünsche wurden erfüllt. Die Zimmer sind neu und modern. Das Bad ist sehr schick und es gibt warmes Wasser und vernünftigen Wasserdruck. Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand und dort gibt es kostenfreie liegen im Schatten oder in der Sonne.

Great and quite location at the beach. Close to great resteurants. Host is really opened, gives you a lot of tips, is open to have a chat about the island and is really helpfull. We felt taken care of. There is a laundry at the other side of the street, host can help you with that

Las vistas frente al mar era maravillosas, la habitación enorme y muy limpia, el colchón super cómodo y grande, el aire acondicionado funcionaba a la perfección. Todo era nuevo y cuidado, y el propietario una persona excepcional, nos ayudó en todo lo que necesitamos. Se encuentra en primera línea de una playa preciosa ideal para dar largos paseos, hay restaurantes muy cerca donde se come genial (recomiendo The Cath. Increíble marisco en frente del mar).

This "hotel" has only 5 rooms 😊 we had one with an ocean view. The room is nice, big with comfortable beds, nice, big bathroom with super shower with hot water. The staff is very friendly and helpful, they can organise everything. We could stay longer on the day of check out!!! We are very grateful for that 😊 if you are looking for a quiet place with literally nothing around, this is the perfect place for you. Around just the basic shop and few restaurants. Only breakfast could be better, we just had toast, scrambled eggs with jam etc.

We stayed for three days, and during that time, they could have changed the towels and cleaned the room, as it was full of sand from the beach. A bit away from the city center.

The hotel is a bit aside from the city, the beach is very quiet- we have enjoyed it a lot. Rooms are new and comfortable, breakfast was outstanding. One of the best things about the place is hotel staff

Thank you Pramosh, Patrick and Jaya for the wonderful hospitality you guys have shown from proactively giving tips to avoid getting scammed, recommending best places for water activities, adjusting breakfast timings to ensure I don't remain empty stomach till lunch to taking me on their scooty for currency exchange and utilities. I can't recommend this hotel enough, a proper 10/10 stay.

The wifi in my room was a bit weak but no complaints if you have a local sim

The owners were super nice and the location and breakfast was amazing. We were even able to do a lagoon tour and they also tried to teach us how to climb a coconut tree. All in all 11/10 - totally recommend this hotel :)

Everything was good

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location is perfect with access to a beautiful quite beach at the edge of Hikkaduwwa which was a plus to avoid the tourists hotspot. The hotel and room were very nicely decorated. Above all the staff were amazing. Both Pramosh and Patrick made us feel home from the moment we arrived. They arranged delicious breakfast everyday, did a lagoon excursion for us and when we left it felt hard to say goodbye. We would definitely go back to this hotel not only for the location and facilities but definitely for the great staff and hospitality.

- WiFi access in the room could be improved and maybe offering card payment. But these are very small things, generally we had Ana amazing time.

Amazing stay at Kavin Beach Hotel! I recently stayed at Kavin Beach Hotel and I couldn’t be more pleased with my experience. The room was spotless, spacious, and beautifully decorated, providing a cozy and comfortable environment. Mr. Pramosh was incredibly friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist with any request. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to Kumarakanda Vihara Temple, supermarket and my favourite restaurant A2 yet peaceful enough for a restful night’s sleep.

The property was next to the beach and well secured. It was new and clean.

Staying at this hotel was one of the best stays in Sri Lanka. This is a beautiful and modern hotel on the coast. This hotel is calm and the beach is always empty, which we love. They serve delicious and inexpensive breakfasts. They also made an incredible candlelight dinner for us. The food is very tasty. The staff is hospitable and always ready to help at any moment. Even our neighbors are wonderful sweet people. If we are in Sri-Lanka again we will definitely stay here. Best place to stay in Sri Lanka. My first time to Sri Lanka, I didn’t know the best beach to stay at, I trusted my intuition and picked Kavin beach hotel. And I’m so glad I did. The rooms are all clean and pretty. We picked the ocean view room, it’s huge, we could do yoga in there while looking at the beach. The bathroom is big with a fancy shower, silent air con. It’s all new, clean and modern/stylish. The room is luxury with the dreamy view. It really is like a dream come true. We traveled all along the cost to the most popular beaches, and although they were all beautiful, we enjoyed swimming in the bay next to Kavin hotel the best, warm, calm, water like silk and no tourists. The owner was so lovely, we spent a week there and he became like a brother, we felt like we were staying with family. The staff were all wonderful. They all went above and beyond. I’ve travelled the world and this is the best place I’ve ever stayed. The location is awesome too, not busy. Great beach restaurant next door and the best food at A2, hot rottys across the rd and the train station and a beautiful temple, Galle is 20 mins down the rd too. Perfection, plus you can swim with wild turtles. They also made a Romantic bbq on beach for us. So special. Definitely coming back, friends for life. Thank you 🙏

I like the service, the hotel owner was so helpful 24/7. The view was perfect the beach was clean and romantic. The staff is ok point they speak very good English. Rooms are clean and very tidy. Everything was up to standers, the home made Sri Lankan food was so delicious, i would highly recommend this place for anyone !!

The rooms were very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable and they didn’t deny any of our requests and was being very kind. Amazing location, literally steps from the beach and close to lots of restaurants. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, there was several instances of him going beyond what’s expected to make my stay more enjoyable.

We like all the things.

We stayed at Kavin Beach hotel in Hikkaduwa. Our stay lasted for 6 days. We booked an ocean front view room, it was huge and luxurious! Air conditioner was working well and extremely silent. All the staff at this hotel spoke and understood English well, which is a big plus. They were all very welcoming and willing to help us at any point, such as ordering tuktuk for us, and bringing smoothies directly to our room. We were also offered free lounge chairs that we could use by the beach. Another great thing is that the owner openly shares the hotels upcoming improvements that will make it an even better stay in the future. We're excited about that! Overall, we had a great experience and willing to come back to Kavin Beach Hotel in the future! Probably the best hotel in Hikkaduwa. Thank you very much 😊
