Service wasn’t the best. Breakfast was small and could take about 45 -60 minutes to get. It took them a long time to clear the plates.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026La posizione è in una baia molto tranquilla. Non c'è molto intorno, a parte qualche ristorantino.
Segnalo a chi dovesse considerare la struttura che siamo scappati dopo 2 notti perchè le camere sono infestate da cimici del letto o del legno. Non siamo riusciti a capire quali esattamente, ma mia moglie è stata punta almeno 100 volte e io simile con conseguenti ponfi e prurito importante. Siamo stati costretti a fuggire e andare a un altro lodge per evitare gravi condizioni di salute e infezione. Lo staff è a conoscenza del problema, ma non dice nulla. Proprio per questo, a seguito della mia segnalazione e lamentela, ci ha ridato praticamente tutti i soldi del soggiorno in contanti. Ci tenevo comunque a segnalare la nostra disavventura per evitarla ad altri.

WAARSCHUWING voor mensen met allergieën! Lees dit voor je boekt! Meerdere kamers kampen met een plaag van mijten die het hout opeten, maar bijten ‘s nachts ook gasten, waaronder ons! Ook hebben meerdere kamers zwarte schimmel, erg gevaarlijk voor mensen met anafylaxie! Het lijkt alsof de eigenaar wel van deze problemen af weet, maar wil dit niet toegeven.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026The location is superb! It was everything I'm looking for. The beach, the atmosphere and the staff were incredibly helpfulf and kind. I'm more than pleased with my choice. I ended up extending my stay on Tioman with two extra days just to soak more tropical island vibe. A huge recommendation !

Reviewed Aug 24, 2026Das kleine Chalet ist direkt am Strand von Juara. Wer ursprüngliches Inselleben und wenig Infrastruktur bevorzugt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Personal ist sehr fürsorglich und kümmert sich um alle Anliegen.
Die Chalets sind ein wenig in die Jahre gekommen. Wind, Wetter und Getier setzen Ihnen verständlicherweise zu. Allerdings schlägt der Preis viele andere Unterkünfte ringsherum und die netten Menschen vor Ort machen den Aufenthalt zu etwas Besonderem.

Les équipements sont simples mais vu le l’emplacement on oublie vite ce détail ☺️ Personnel adorable, communication avec la gérante par message 👍👍 très réactive. L’organisation de la récupération en voiture depuis la jetée d’arrivée et de départ 👌
La qualité des serviettes de toilette (très usées). Il manque quelques transats sur la plage (au moins un par chambre serait top). Nettoyer la plage devant les bungalows (beaucoup de mégots laissés dans le sable par les fumeurs irrespectueux du lieu malheureusement).

Po drodze jest dość zanieczyszczony i śmierdzący zbiornik/ciek wodny który robi bardzo złe wrażenie, mógłby być wysprzątany.

Reviewed Aug 16, 2026Perfekte Lage mitten am schönen Strand, diser Teil war immer sauber! Das Zimmer ist herrlich gelegen, ruhig und der Zugang zum Strand perfekt. Wir wussten, dass das Zimmer klein ist, es hat aber ohne Probleme eine Matratze für unsere Tochter ins Zimmer gepasst. Die Klimaanlage war top.
Das Frühstück war sehr gut, aber es hat gedauert bis es auf dem Tisch stand. Das Bett war bequem nachdem wir selber die Holzbretter unter der Matratze gerichtet hatten.

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Las vistas eran inmejorables, y el personal fue muy amable en todo momento. Nos facilitaron la entrada a la habitación antes de la hora establecida ya que estábamos esperando.
No estaba muy limpio, a pesar de entrar y ver qué acaban de limpiar, tenía telarañas en el baño , y la repisa del lavabo estaba un poco estropeada. Por otro lado, la habitación tenía bastantes hormigas. Y la colcha de la cama tenía alguna mancha .

Die Betten waren sehr weich und die Klimaanlage sehr laut. Aber dies ist bestimmt auch Ansichtssache.

Reviewed Jul 17, 2026Obiekt położony na cudownej plaży, po drugiej stronie dżungli. Bardzo spokojne miejsce z przepysznym azjatyckim jedzeniem w menu. Dla wybrednych wersja zachodnia również istnieje. Surferski klimat, bardzo miła obsługa zarówno kelnerska jak i po stronie recepcji. Idealne miejsce na odpoczynek.Wioska malownicza, w której czas płynie zdecydowanie wolniej.
Nie da się wymyślić nic niegatywnego. Może słabo działające wifi w domkach. Chociaż w tym miejscu może to na plus?

Endroit paradisiaque, bonne ambiance entre les voyageurs et cadre parfait pour se reposer, personne sur la plage. Le personnel de l’hôtel est à disposition et offre un choix d’activités très large : snorkeling, plongée, randonnées, yoga (à tester c’était super). Il y a plusieurs offres de restaurants locaux (en plus de celui de l’hôtel) Il y a tout ce qu’il faut pour passer un agréable séjour !
Petit déjeuner très léger et pas très qualitatif, chaleur dans la salle de bain et insectes, serviette de douche mauvaise odeur, wifi ne marche pas dans la chambre

Reviewed Jul 14, 2026The location is just perfect, beautiful empty beach and very friendly staff. We had the best sleep we have had in years with the sound of the sea so close.
We saw one of the cats pee in the restaurant and the server noticed but didn't clean it. My husband also found hair in his food (but mentioned it later so it was too late for me to complain). The cleanliness of the bathroom in our hut wasn't great. The mirror doors and glass dividers all needed attention. We knew it would be rustic and the basic hut was fine, just would be better if cleaner. The 'steps' to the bar on the beach are nothing but dangerous. I would have ordered much more if I wasn't too scared to go up the steps again. Since there is a sand fly problem on the beach it would be good to offer some more sun beds so you can get off the sand and maybe a couple of umbrellas for those of us who burn even with factor 50 😅

Reviewed Jul 10, 2026Mi è piaciuta la posizione dato che era direttamente sulla spiaggia ed in un posto relativamente isolato (esattamente ciò che cercavo). Avevo un tetto sopra la testa e quando erano chiusi gli altri locali sono comunque riuscita a mangiare nel loro bar. Bellissimi i gattini, bella la location seppur poco curata, mi sono piaciute le energie di questo posto.
Igiene della camera a dir poco discutibile, si vedeva sporcizia ad occhio nudo sia suoi vetri dell’entrata sia su quello per accedere al bagno. Ragnatele ovunque e talvolta ragni. Nel bagno ci sono 4 fori lineari da cui può entrare qualsiasi tipo di insetto, infatti continuavano ad entrare ragni, quando entravano i gechi mi sentivo protetta dagli insetti. L’acqua calda è uscita i primi due giorni, dopodiché non funzionava più il dispositivo per scaldarla (nei seguenti 6 giorni). Colazione inclusa ma alla carta e non a buffet, poca scelta e porzioni scarse, era incluso solo un piatto perciò 🤷🏻♀️ Il “ristorante” della struttura era sempre sporco (non ho mai visto pulire un tavolo), si ordinava una cosa e spesso non arrivava, buona parte dei piatti presenti nel menu erano sempre sold out (per 8 giorni di soggiorno); spesso i ristoranti vicini erano chiusi perciò gli orari del “ristorante” interno erano piuttosto vincolanti: per la colazione niente da dire dato che era fino alle 11.00, ma il pranzo era da fare entro le 13.30 dopodiché non si poteva più mangiare niente fino alle 18.30, ma anche lì dovevi per forza mangiare entro le 21.00.

Reviewed Jul 5, 2026I absolutely loved my time here. The location is just perfect. My room overlooked the sea and I could be in the water in 30 seconds. The aircon and the shower were good and this basic “shack” was fine for my needs. The little restaurant which is just steps away was sweet and has wi-fi. All the staff were lovely and the included breakfast was most welcome.
I read other reviews and came prepared for mosquitoes. I didn’t see or hear one, but I was bitten in bed all over each night. What bit me was in the bed.

Reviewed Jun 14, 2026Die Lage am Strand und Bucht war schön. Personal sehr freundlich, doch sehr wenig Englischkenntnisse. Taxitransport hat gut geklappt.
Frühstück wenig und sehr einfach, generell einfache Küche mit wenig Auswahl, keine tropischen Früchte. Eingangsbereich mit Rezeption war ein Schock. Zimmer einfach, kein Klopapier, auf dem Nachttisch steht der laute, ratternde Kühlschrank, laute Klimaanlage, keine Liegen am Strand, Müll wurde 2x in 5 Tagen im Garten verbrannt mit schwarzer Giftwolke, Anfang Juni keine Essmöglickeit im fußläufigen Umkreis. Wir sind nicht anspruchsvoll, keine Ahnung wie die Wertung von 8,2 entsteht

Wi-Fi ловил только на ресепшене, да и местная симка в номере особенно плохо работала. В номере было душновато, даже несмотря на кондиционер. Двери очень красивые и удобные, но звук сильно пропускают. Шум моря и петухи слышны прилично)

Das Frühstück ist ziemlich dürftig. Man darf nicht zu viel erwarten. Leider sind am Strand Sandfliegen. Ohne Schutz kann man am gesamten Strand leider nicht liegen. Ein paar Liegen seitens des Hotels wären gut.

Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück war nicht der Rede wert. Laum Auswahl, zT waren Zutaten wie Bananen gar nicht vorhanden, kleine Portionen, schlechter Kaffee. Aber das Personal war nett und man konnte auf's Meer schauen. Für uns war's ok.

Reviewed May 5, 2026Location at the beach was superb! There were minimarket closeby and the shack had a restaurant. It was awesome to sit on our own terrace and watch the storm during the night! The village were small and the shack is almost at the middle so good distance to walk everywhere. Bed was comfortable and clean. Also, own tap for clean you feet after the beach outside of your frontsteps were perfect. The staff were friendly and communication with them were easy. They also arrange transportation from and to the ferry (for a fee). All in all the vibe of this place were perfect for island holiday.
Cleaning was little bit so-so, little bit dust here and there but nothing major. Showerhead and -pipe wasn't properly on the wall when we came but staff came to fix it when asked. Also my spouse cleaned the filter of the AC, it was all blocked. Not too much space to store your luggages.

Wir hatten die obere Etage , es war himmlisch das Meeresrauschen zu hören ! Das Zimmer war sehr groß , sauber , das Bad war auch sehr gut! Es gab Nix zu bemängeln!! Leider kam niemand zum reinigen in den 5 Tagen wo wir da waren. Das Restaurant ist ganz nett , aber leider dauert alles lange wenn viele Tische belegt sind..es gibt aber in Laufweite sehr gute Alternativen! (Coconut Grove, Juara Village Restaurant) aber man konnte sein Wasser immer kostenfrei auffüllen:) Die Bilder be Booking sind authentisch ,
Kein Handtuch Wechsel , es gab kein Kaffee im Zimmer. Also selbst mitbringen. WLAN funktioniert überhaupt nicht im Zimmer.

Reviewed Mar 25, 2026Das Zimmer war groß und sauber mit AC. Das Bad war ebenfalls in Ordnung genauso wie das Bett. Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am sehr schönen Strand.
Einen Zimmerservice gab es nicht. Die verantwortliche Person an der Reception war wenig hilfsbereit und unfreundlich. Das1.Mal, dass ich so etwas in Malaysia erleben musste. Essen gab es, möglicherweise wegen dem Fastenmonat Ramadan, im dazugehörigen (?) Restaurant nur Abends zwischen 18:30 und 19:45.

Reviewed Mar 20, 2026Die Zimmer sind geräumig und gut ausgestattet, das Bad ist groß mit abgetrennter Dusche. Die Lage direkt am Strand ist schön. Restaurants wegen Ramadan sehr eingeschränkt nutzbar. Minimarkt mit kleinem Angebot um die Ecke.
Das Personal, ausgenommen die Bedienungen, war sehr unfreundlich

Reviewed Feb 22, 2026Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Lage direkt am Meer war traumhaft. Da Nebensaison herrschte, war es sehr ruhig in Juara und auf der ganzen Insel. Das haben wir sehr genossen. Mit dem Taxi ist man in ca. 20 min in Tekek auf der anderen Seite der Insel. Klappt alles wunderbar.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Onze kamer lag aan het strand, met een prachtig uitzicht. Het restaurant is basic, maar alles smaakte prima. In de buurt zijn verschillende winkels en plekken om te eten. We hebben een mooie boottocht gemaakt met vier stops om te snorkelen.
Er waren maar een paar strandstoelen en geen parasols.

Reviewed Dec 25, 2025Otele gitmek için 2 saatlik feribot yolculuğu yapmak gerekiyor. Adaya gidince de pikap ile adanın diger tarafına geçmek gerekiyor, extra para ödemek gerekiyor. Otele gittiğimde kapalıydı. Etrafta kimse yoktu. Bir odası hariç diğerleri tadilattaydi. Yağmur sezonu olduğundan her yer kapalıydı, yemek yemeye yer yok. İki tane küçük mahalle bakkalı var. Hiç turist yoktu. Yağmur sezonda gitmeyin. Normal sezonda güzel olur. Ada çok güzel. 3 gece rezervasyon yapmıştım, bir gece kalıp geri döndüm

Reviewed Oct 9, 2025The placr was absolutely stunning! I like the blue turquoise features Nd the room was spacious as well as the bathroom. Looks really clean. I really enjoyed my stay there. Truly relaxing! The environment surrounding also very beautiful. Perfect to take pictures!
I got bed bug bites! It wasnt many but.. Yeah. Also maybe lil toiletries like toothbrush or tiny toothpaste will be good since theres like 2 mini market there n its hard to some stuff. But other that truly beautiful place

Reviewed Oct 7, 2025Super emplacement face à la plage idyllique. C'est un coin de paradis,. Attention cependant les alentours ne sont pas nickels mais on est un peu au bout du monde. Ambiance cool. Le personnel est avenant et accueillant à 1 exception près.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2025Relaxed, amazing location and lovely people. Travelled Malaysia for a while and this was by far the best place we stayed, with our family of four. Amazing views and so peaceful, everyone was helpfull and friendly. Dont forget to ask for a BBQ night, the food was amazing. Thankyou I would love to return. Adam
