Nice old style hotel in a good location

The view of the canal was exceptional. The room had lots of space and was very comfortable. Check in was very easy. Really nice to have the fridge and kitchen.

Die beiden Zimmer waren sehr schön und haben uns gut gefallen (sehr sauber, schön eingerichtet). Für uns war die Lage der Unterkunft ebenfalls sehr gut um von dort aus weiter ins Zentrum zu kommen. Wir haben uns super wohlgefühlt. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr freundlich, verlässlich, so dass wir uns die ganze Zeit sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt haben. Wir werden gerne wiederkommen!!

The location is great, easy walk to anything needed.

The pillows- I am allergic to feathers and they didn’t have any other option. Also a fan would have helped.

Die Unterkunft liegt ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis ins Centrum. In der Nähe gibt es noch einige gute Lokale und Bars. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, sodass man Nachts auch bei geöffnetem Fenster schlafen kann. Das Bad mit Dusche sind sehr gut und ausreichend groß. Also eine gute Adresse

An der Unterkunft gibt es keine reservierte Parkmöglichkeit. Man muss in der Umgebung oder in einem der Parkhäuser ( ca. 400 bis 700 m Entfernung) einen Parkplatz aufsuchen. Die Parkgebühren sind sehr hoch und betragen / Tag 30 € vor Ort und zwischen 25 und 35 €/Tag in den Parkhäusern. Vor der Unterkunft / in der Straße gab es keinen Hinweis, dass man ein Parkticket benötigt und dann werden direkt 70 € Strafe + 30 € Parkgebühr / Tag fällig. Hierauf ist zu achten, denn der Betrag ist heftig und man muss diese Kosten den Übernachtungskosten hinzurechnen, wenn man einen Vergleich zu Unterkünften mit Parkplatz macht.

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in Leiden. The Harbour Leiden liegt an einem der vielen Kanäle, man kann zu Fuß alles prima und zügig erreichen (z.B. Bahnhof 15 Min.).Die Unterkunft ist sehr sauber und bietet viel Platz, außerdem liegt sie ruhig. Die kleine Kitchenette (jeweils für zwei Zimmer zur Nutzung) ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man benötigt. Caroline hat uns bestens beraten und geholfen, wo nötig. Wir werden in jedem Fall wieder buchen, wenn wir einen Aufenthalt in Leiden planen!

Geweldige uiticht over de gracht op de Marekerk. Comfortabel ruime kamer, met een hoog opengewerkt plafond onder de oude balken van het dak. Leuk decoratief houtkacheltje. Klein en praktisch keukentje voor twee kamers in de gang. Het was er relatief rustig, af en toe een paar feest vierende studenten op straat of in bootjes tot in de nacht. Maar dat was gezellig om naar te kijken en nauwelijks te horen met de ramen dicht. Je kon kiezen uit ramen openschuiven of airco. Alle twee goede opties. We zagen geen personeel, maar alles was netjes. We kregen schone handdoeken en de vuilniszakken werden eveneens geleegd. Vriendelijke, ongecompliceerde en duidelijke communicatie met de verhuurder.

When the weather was windy, there was a noticeable noise coming from fireplace.

Quiet comfortable friendly elegance. We loved our ‘family room’ with the shared kitchen area. Lots of coffee pods and just enough things to be able to make a simple meal. It was perfect. A bigger bathroom and a haunted lighted mirror (it would turn itself on) and a comfy bed. Super close to multiple bus stops and a bike rental around the corner. Nice area to just sit and watch the boats across the street

Very clean, comfortable and convenient location right on the canal. About a fifteen minute easy walk from the central train station and just 10 minute walk to the central part of the town. Room and bathroom were large and the bed super comfortable. Great kitchen area just outside the room. We only used the fridge to store our water and the kettle to make coffee in the morning. The area in Leiden where the hotel is located is very nice plus super quiet at night. We stayed three nights and slept great. Our host Caroline was great with communication emails. She reached out several times to ask if we needed anything and to ensure we were having a great time. Both of us definitely recommend staying at Harbour Leiden. Thank you Caroline for being such a great host.

The UK sockets in the room were a life-saver, because I forgot my adaptor.

Nice location, ideal to visit Leiden. Comfy and facilities perfect for a family, kitchenette all equipped. Room really clen and well furbished.

We had a great stay and highly recommend this Airbnb. Caroline’s communication was excellent throughout and made everything easy. The accommodations are beautiful, comfortable, and very well thought out. The kitchenette had great coffee and everything we needed to prepare meals, which helped us save some money on eating out. The location is exceptional, and the beds are extremely comfortable. We originally booked for one week but ended up extending our stay by five more days. We would gladly stay here again.

The Harbour Lieden is an amazing find. Great location, lovely, clean rooms, comfy beds with everything you could need . But most of all an amazing host. Caroline was warm, attentive and welcoming. Obsługa była bardzo sympatyczna i pomocna, w pokoju było czysto.

W hotelu jest wspólna kuchnia na jedno piętro (dwa pokoje). Gdy w drugim pokoju mieszka osoba lubiąca pachnące potrawy (np. ryby) w kuchni i lodówce jest nieprzyjemny zapach. Dodatkowo pokoje nie są uszczelnione od korytarza więc, czuć zapach gdy osoby z drugiego pokoju coś gotują.

Niedliches Gebäude direkt am alten Hafen. Das Bad sehr sauber und komfortabel. Der Kontakt lief über whattsapp und war freundlich.

Von einer Ferienwohnung zu sprechen, ist leider sehr übertrieben. Ein Zimmer mit Zugang zu einer Gemeinschaftskitchenette auf dem Flur. Der Kühlschrank wird mit den Nachbarn geteilt. Es wäre fair, dies in der Beschreibung eindeutig zu erwähnen. Der Gartenblick ging in die Hinterhöfe der Nachbarn.

Beautiful place to stay, very cossy and close to all amenities in Leiden. We stayed at the top floor, which was great, the room was spacious, every floor has it's own kitchen. Overall, it was worth it. Caroline was very helpful whenever we needed help she was there.

Ηταν ενα πολυ ευρυχωρο δωματιο με καταπληκτικη θεα στο καναλι, πολυ καθαρο με πολυ ωραιο μοντερνο μπανιο και κοινοχρηστη κουζινα εξω απο το δωματιο οπου υπηρχε διαθεσιμοτητα για καφε κι αλλα ροφηματα.

The location was perfect, very close and within walking distance to everything. Bed was comfortable, bathroom was to a high standard. Room was warm and spacious and had a fantastic view of the canal! The air conditioning was great.

There is a shared kitchen on each floor - the kitchen was well prepped so we could cook all our meals. However we had to be mindful of making too much noise in the morning as it was a shared area between the rooms.

Das Zimmer war sehr laut aufgrund der gemeinschaftlich genutzten Kitchenette. Es wurde von den anderen Mietern keine Rücksicht genommen auf Uhrzeiten (Lärm ab 7 Uhr).

posizione magnifica sul porto di Leiden a 15min dalla stazione. ci sono locani e supermercati a pochi minuti a piedi. Logistica molto comoda.

Gute Lage und sehr freundliche Vermieter. Das Zimmer ist sehr geräumig und mit allen ausgestattet was man benötigt. Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Blick zum Kanal.

La struttura è dotata di tutto. La cucina, pur in condivisione con un'altra stanza, è sempre in ordine e viene pulita ogni giorno; ci sono il frigo, il microonde, il fornello, le stoviglie e le pentole. C'è anche la macchinetta del caffè, con le cialde a disposizione, così come anche una selezione di thé. Su richiesta, si può avere accesso anche alla lavatrice e all'asciugatrice. La host Caroline è molto disponibile, risponde subito via sms, cercando di aiutarti a soddisfare le tue richieste. Posto consigliatissimo!

The property was well managed, and the owner/agent was very proactive in advance and during the stay. The property was nicely fitted and with a good bed. It was very clean with fresh towels. There were some nice strolls around the Singel and canals. It was easy to get into the historic heart of Leiden and the sights of the city.

The property is a good location for the harbour and the historic centre of Leiden, but a bit far from the railway station to walk for an elderly person, so buses or taxis may be needed. This is not the owners fault, but the buses from the station were diverted for the weekend days we stayed so it was not so easy for an elderly person to get too and taxis are expensive in the Netherlands. The stairs are very steep, so it is advisable to think about access if you book this place, but that is true of many Dutch houses.

The Harbour is in a lovely and convenient location. We stayed in the family room. The property is very clean and well maintained. The bathroom is modern and the shower cubicle is very spacious. The kitchenette is perfect for cooking and preparing meals. The beds are comfortable too.

The first couple of times I went up the step ladder to the twin beds was scary! I soon got used to them though. They turned out to be a good practice run for our visit to the Molen de Valk windmill!

The property is located in the old city part so it’s convenient to reach everywhere by foot. Our room has a good view over the canal and they are several bars nearby.

Very nice spacious room in a very nice location. Self checkin. Comfortable bed. Big room with table. We loved the mini kitchen outside the room. You can cook a simple meal. (One cooktoop) Free nespresso coffee! Supermarket close by.

After 3 days the common areas could have used some vacuuming. Room could be hot in summer.

Comfortable bed for one of us. Excellent shower room. Kitchen provided enough to make a meal. Quiet, safe and peaceful.

We requested a double room but one of us( in our 70’s) had to climb a steep wooden ladder to a smaller bed in an attic area… not quite what we anticipated. TV remote failed and a lot of time was wasted trying to turn off the tv late into the evening!

The Harbour Leiden is beautiful, with modern clean facilities with plenty of character. It has generous sized rooms and a good modern bathroom. The location is perfect, nice and quiet but only a short walk from the centre.
