Struttura semplice ma ben tenuta. Abbiamo trascorso solo 1 notte di passaggio, quindi non abbiamo utilizzato nessun servizio. Camera stile ranch da 4 (siamo famiglia con figli grandi) con letto matrimoniale + letto a castello, bagno privato. Bel giardino curato con postazioni barbeque e tavoli all'aperto. Abbiamo preso la colazione che è stata ottima e abbondante. Host molto gentile e disponibile.

Faceva freddo e l’aria condizionata soffia davvero piano anche se si mette al massimo. Dopo aver fatto la doccia sono rimasta con i capelli bagnati perché non c’é un asciuga capelli. Nel letto non c’è il lenzuolo di sopra ma solo quello di sotto per cui dormi a contatto con la coperta che hanno usato altri clienti. Colazione inclusa ma siamo andati via presto e non l’abbiamo fatta (no breakfast box).

The breakfast was decent

- Beds: essentially a hard wooden plank with a mattress. Not a decent bed (what you'd expect for this price point) - Noise: not suited for (South African) winter. We stayed early August. The cabin was quite cold. There's a heater, but that one is very noisy. Essentially pick your poison: either too noisy or too cold. And lots of barking stray dogs to top it off - Lack of hospitality: we intended to stay for 2 nights, and had pre-paid as such. Since the majority of the family had an awful sleep during the 1st night, we decided to leave after 1 night. There was limited empathy ('most customers like the beds'), and no constructive thinking (e.g. looking for a cabin with better beds?), just a 'we don't offer refunds'. If a customer leaves because they can't get decent sleep, I think this is a rather bizarre reaction. The alternative accommodation (boutique hotel nearby) we found for our 2nd night was cheaper, had great beds & facilities, and was very welcoming. Our view: don't charge this price for 2-star facilities. Based on the price point, we'd expected better quality. If it was priced according to the quality, we wouldn't have considered staying here.

Wir haben uns in der Thokozani Lodge sehr wohl gefühlt. Es hatte alles, was man braucht und das Häuschen war sauber und ordentlich. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, vielseitig und in ausreichender Menge vorbereitet. Holger hat sogar selbstgebackenes Brot angeboten, welches uns sehr geschmeckt hat! Das Grundstück ist sehr weitläufig und lädt zum Erkunden und Genießen ein - im Sommer mit dem Pool bestimmt ein Highlight. Leider waren wir nur für eine Nacht hier, sodass wir nicht das volle Erlebnis genießen konnten. Die Entfernung zum Flughafen Nelspruit ist unschlagbar. Holger ist ein hervorragender Gastgeber: zuvorkommend, aufmerksam, bestens organisiert und offen für gute Gespräche. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden die Unterkunft jederzeit weiterempfehlen.

Very lovely stay. Holgen was a perfect host. Clean and comfortable instalations, an amazing dinner and a wonderful garden. We fall in LOVE with Ben, the dog. We would repeat without doubts.

Holger ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber, der sich sehr kümmert und Tipps gibt. Unser Abendessen war auch sehr gut. Leider haben wir nur eine Nacht verbracht, man kann aber in der Lodge viel länger verweilen und die schöne Anlage genießen. Die Lage ist gut um in den Kruger NP Ausflüge zu unternehmen.

Peace and quiet, clean and well appointed self catering facilities. Mr Hänning is a great host, makes one feel at home. I will return as soon as I have work in the area again.

The Check-In rules are ridiculous. It was after I booked that I learnt of the policy that R150 is charged for Checking in between 19:00hours - 21:00hours and after that it is IMPOSSIBLE!! Like really, how can you expect travellers from far to reach your place before 19:00 hours? What about flight delays or traffic delays. Or atleast that should be a condition before confirming the booking. I know of places where Check-in is 24 hours.

Zeer mooie lodge in een prachtige omgeving. We hadden het chalet Leopard geboekt, wat vrijstaand is en zeer privé. Holger is een aardige en gastvrije man en er zijn drie lieve honden op het terrein. Het ontbijt was zeer uitgebreid en lekker. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en zullen zeker weer boeken als we in de buurt zijn!

Het ontbijt was echt geweldig! Hele aardig host. Super mooie locatie met een mooi zwembad. Het is lekker rustig.

Dass wir unsere Afrikareise in Thokozani begonnen haben, war ein großer Glücksfall. Unser Gastgeber hat alles versucht, um uns den Aufenthalt so schön wir möglich zu gestalten. Die Zimmer (eigentlich schon Appartements) im afrikanischen Stil lagen für uns vier direkt nebeneinander in wunderschöner Umgebung. Der Park, in dem wir wohnten, war mit dem Swimmingpool sehr gepflegt. Die Mahlzeiten, vom Gastgeber selbst angerichtet, waren sehr schmackhaft. Uns kam die Anlage noch schöner vor, als wir es von den Bildern vermutet hatten. Wir können nur sagen: Danke für die Gastfreundschaft!

Der Aufenhalt war super schön. Holger der Eigentümer sehr Eigentümer sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Alle waren freundlich und es war sehr sauber. Wir haben uns extrem wohl gefühlt. Das Abendessen vom Holger war ausgezeichnet.

Lovely tranquil place with beautiful gardens and huge pool, bungalow was really cute and had two outdoor seating areas. Owner was really helpful and lovely. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Very beautiful and peaceful place. The host and cleaning staff were super friendly.

Unfortunately the dogs made our stay very uncomfortable especially the 2 brown ones as they were always on attack mode. My 4 year old was almost attacked but luckily my husband was there to quickly pick her up. Please lock them away as this could have been a very traumatic experience for people who are terrified of dogs. They ruined our stay and we were there for 4 days. Please also consider adding a kiddies play area as there's not much to do besides the swimming pool if you don't plan on going out for excursions.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Holger empfangen und erhielten ein Upgrade auf einen Bungalow. Dieser war einige Schritte vom Haupthaus entfernt auf dem riesigen Grundstück gelegen. Hier konnten wir schon ein bisschen Buschfeeling spüren. Wir hatten eine eigene Terrasse, Sitzgelegenheiten außen und Grill, ebenso gab es eine kleine Außenküche für Selbstversorger. Auf dem Grundstück kann man ein bisschen "herumstromern", Vögel und andere Tiere bekamen wir schon zu Gesicht. Einen schönen Pool gibt es auch. Holger bereitete uns ein leckeres Abendessen zu. Ebenso gab es ein tolles Frühstück. Wir hatten bei einem Drink noch tolle Gespräche - hier würden wir jederzeit wieder übernachten - auch länger!

The host is amazing and very very cooperative. It is near to numbi gate of the kruger national park. So you can drive easily from here and reach the kruger national park. Supermarkets are nearby such as Woolsworth and checkers in around 6-7 kms. Overall I felt like I am living in the middle of the nature. A lot of fruit trees such as mango, banana and avocados are there in the property.

The Wifi speed and even if you have your own esim or a sim card the network is not that great. You can do a video call but watching videos continuosly is a little tough.

Grosse, schöne und sehr saubere Unterkunft. Am besten hat mir der Park mit Swimmingpool, Gartentischen und einer gemütlichen, überdachten "Laube" zum verweilen gefallen. Werde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt wieder dort buchen.

Beautiful rooms and an amazing garden! The owner was extremely nice and his home-cooked dinner and breakfast were exceptional! We loved the place and wished we could have stayed another night.

The service was excellent

The view, peacefulness of the place, and the birds chirping in the morning. Together with the enthusiastic host/manager, who was friendly. The place/location gives you access to the main road where you can also find taxis.

Holger is a very caring host. He was always available and gave us very valuable travel recommendations for the area. The lodge is very nice and well maintained. It is situated a bit over 1 hour to Graskop and the Blyde River Canyon attractions and around 45 min to Kruger's NP Numbi Gate. The Castleridge venue in White River, 10 min drive from the lodge, has good restaurants.

The guest house was very nice especially the gardens . The chalets are spacious and original and well equipped. The host very kind. The breakfast was very good.

Loved Thokozani. It is very peaceful. The rooms are very comfortable and well equipped. Conveniently close to Witrivier and easy access to Kruger, God's window and Bourke's Luck Potholes. Hospitality was great! We enjoyed our 2 night stay and will definitely book there again if we visit the area.

The host was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. The room was also very spacious, clean and. Comfortable. The location is also beautiful.

Good breakfast that we experienced. Nice basic clean accommodation with lovely grounds to wander in.....and a new puppy to enjoy :). The owner is really keen for people to stay a bit longer but this place is absolutely perfect for a one night stay on the way to Kruger International Airport which is what we used it for.

There is a drainage channel on the grounds that was very smelly (and I'm used to travelling, particularly in Africa so smells don't really bother me but this was quite bad) Rooms were clean enough but a bit dated and bedding was a little damp

Fantastic lodge, amazing garden setting and wonderful accommodation. Highly recommended, semi rural setting yet only 5 minutes to White River town.

The road outside was atrocious. 500m of gravel with potholes. Had to drive ( in a saloon) very very carefully. A 4x4 would be fine I imagine. This is a public road and the owner is doing his best to get it repaired, so no fault attached to the guest house.

This is a very good place to relax, very quiet,clean and staff were very friendly. The owner was very helpful and took care of our needs ie transfer,dining any thing we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

I was a big fan of the following: The peaceful environment. The comfort of the room. The swimming pool experience (water was not constantly cold or hot) I like how there are towels available for everything.

I was not a big fan of Netflix not working because it forced me to have to attempt watching movies from my personal phone. A slight suggestion from my experience would be adding a small broom & mop or cloth in the rooms for visitors' convenience.

The place was beautiful, relaxing and quiet. We prepared our own food and it was nice. The staff members were excellent always willing to assist.

The place was fun to be at, however, their standard of cleanliness needs to be upgraded. We were met by crocoaches and ants, although the bed linen was clean, it was too old to host visitors, the poles that supports the thatch were also dusty.
