TV channel selection wasn’t great and access to Netflix would have been appreciated.

I really loved the atmosphere,the place was just perfect ,the room we booked was very spacious ,oh and the bathroom was quiet big and very clean wow ,their breakfast was the best ,I have travelled and ate breakfast but this was the best I’ve ever had ,how they prepared their Omelette was the best ,I really enjoyed ,the surrounding area is just breathtaking aswell ,ill recommend this place and ill definitely visit again

So welcoming. Excellent reception who had replied to our emails even before we left the UK. Beautiful room, clean and great decor and size. Calm surroundings with fantastic well manicured gardens. An oasis! Staff were friendly and efficient. Great place.

Sehr schönes und großes Zimmer, sehr freundliches Personal, tolle Anlage und sehr gutes Frühstück.

Alle Fenster waren geöffnet (Mücken?) und das Zimmer war sehr stickig.

Beautiful, comfortable bedroom and large bathroom with ample soap, lotion & shampoo/conditioner provided. Beautiful gardens and splendid pool! Loved the use of wapp messages to communicate with reception - lady at reception very helpful and friendly. Housekeeping also did a great job with our washing/ironing!! Wheel-chair friendly accommodation & restaurant

Did unfortunately not enjoy our dinner. The power/generator kept going off causing the aircon in our room to beep non stop through-out the night. There was a big storm in the evening which could have caused this.

Road to get to the venue from white river is a bit tricky but that is beyond their control.

Quiet and beautiful gardens. Breakfast was great. Room was comfortable and clean.

We were not able to watch the rugby as the Channel wasn't available on the DSTV suite. Meant that we had to leave the hotel and go and watch somewhere else

Large roaches and frogs in the bathroom.

Upon booking, the manager was not friendly or helpful. There was a frog in the suite and large roaches the moment you turned off the lights

The facility has great potential.

The location was not ideal for after dark security. The fence adjacent our room was under construction. Breakfast was only served after we left, but fully understandable

It was comfortable, clean and beautiful. The staff were friendly.

Dinner wasn't great. The veggies we slightly over done. The steak was done medium but very bland. The toaster doesn't toast both sides but overall the food experience wasn't amazing.

The staff were EXCEPTIONAL and should all be commended on their level of service delivered. What a treat!

Great stay at a lovely small hotel just outside of White River. The staff is warm and welcoming. The rooms are large, comfortable and well-equipped. The pool area is a great place to unwind with a beverage in the winter sun in the afternoons. The restaurant was outstanding! Delicious meals with huge portions and very reasonably priced. Even the carryout breakfast given out the night before an early morning game drive was impressive. The hotel is off a main road with double gates to enter. The beautiful grounds were peaceful with lots of singing birds. This was a great and safe place to stay not far from the airport and around a 30-40 minute drive from Kruger National Park.

Absolute gem! From reception where you are treated as a VIP with warm hand cloth and welcome drinks to the very spacious rooms and stunning , tranquil haven gardens- a great experience!

Facilities offered were good.

The hotel needs to be maintained better. The whole facility is “tired” and needs to be redecorated. Secondly and more importantly, the hotel seems to lack active management. The consequence is that the staff while very polite and willing, need training and supervision.

We stayed here twice with two different groups from the US as a transfer hotel and it provides all the South African charm of a country yet local stay. The staff is so friendly and accommodating and the food was great both times. Wine and drinks were good as well. The packed restaurant for an early flight is robust. The property is lovely and the jungle like songs that come from the trees and grounds was just lovely.

The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Check in and out was efficient. Breakfast was tasty and offered something for everyone. The pool was amazing and with the hot weather, the pool was a welcome break fromt he heat.

Food was very average; dinner menu is basic, but convenient to be able to eat at the hotel. Fruit salad for breakfast was nearly all apple. Coffee barista still in training.

Our safari tour operator booked us for an evening here since we had an early flight to Victoria Falls the next morning. We were given the Gardenia Suite, which was large and well appointed with a comfortable bed, a living room area with a sofa and large screen TV, refrigerator, and a huge bathroom with a walk-in shower. The area surrounding the hotel doesn't offer much to do or see, but we were happy to have a day to just relax in the middle of our busy trip. We inquired at the front desk which car services we could use to get to the town center for dinner, and they contacted a taxi to get a price quote. However, we decided that the price was too high so we decided to avail ourselves of Nut Grove Manor's on site restaurant for both lunch and dinner. The food was good, served in ample portions and very reasonably priced. Breakfast at the hotel was not as extensive as some other hotels we stayed at in Africa, but everything was fresh and good quality. All of the staff we interacted with were pleasant and professional. All in all, this is a great place to stay as a stopover between Kruger and Victoria Falls.

Super location. Beautiful surroundings. Amazing attention to detail. A little night lamp was in the room so we could see where we going. Staff are the best. The barman, Decent was helpful, attentive and funny. Matilda had everything organised for us. Such a friendly relaxed stay. Highly recommend. Xxx

We spent one night on our way to Victoria Falls from Kruger. Good nice hotel. Rooms are clean, modern and spacious. The on-site restaurant serves good dinner and breakfast. Nothing to complain. Staff is very caring and helped me through a little injury very professionally.

Lovely restful place to stay after long day at Kruger. Charming rooms in separate units around the beautiful garden. Super friendly and helpful staff. Good food. Altogether a delightful retreat. Massage available in treehouse was a plus!

Money was stolen from my luggage. The safe was not working properly and that's why I left my money in my suitcase, closed. Despite this, they opened it and the money, along with a gold chain, disappeared. Both the cleaning staff, the hotel manager and the company that organized the travel pack (Kobo Safaris) did not take responsibility. Regrettable experience in a beautiful country like South Africa.

The amazingly beautiful garden and pool just make you want to come back again and again. The bungalows are nice and clean and the restaurant serves excellent food.

Wow, what an awesome place. My wife is very picky about hotels, and the Nut Grove manor did not let me down. The rooms were excellent rooms with air conditioning, a living room area, and a luxury bath (huge shower and tub). I was concerned about the food (my adult daughter is a very picky eater), but the food was incredible. We had ostrich filet, lamb shank, and beef tenderloin, along with pasta, and excellent desserts. We did take advantage of the spa services and I highly recommend booking spa appointments-great relaxing spa in a tree house. My thanks to everyone at Nut Grove Manor, the service was exceptional. You will not regret staying here!!!

Absolutely beautiful hotel. Staff is amazing, grounds are well kept, food in restaurant is phenomenal. Our room was very clean and cozy. Close to amenities like the airport and Kruger park. We even had a massage and it was amazing! Definitely recommend.

The property has a perfect location for a private, restful and quite getaway. The rooms were a good size. The grounds were well kept. Breakfast was good.

The biggest issue with the property: none of the rooms were clean. And there was opportunity to remedy this and make the rooms clean. Very disappointing.

Loved the spacious room, facilities and beautiful lush garden.

What a little gem of a place in the most tranquil grounds to wander around. The rooms are spacious and extremely clean. The best bit is that they spread throughout the grounds, making it your own little piece of paradise. Lovely friendly staff and such a delicious dinner. Very close to lots of tourist destinations, like the Potholes, Gods Window, many waterfalls and the list goes on. Thanks again to our tour operator Destinations by Shane.

Our stay at Nut Grove Manor Boutique Hotel was lovely, we enjoyed the beautiful gardens and the suites we stayed in a lot. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. We loved the restaurant and the beautiful decor, but we had to send our dinner back as it wasn't properly cooked. Breakfast and the variety to choose from was amazing.
