Breeze Guest House

Die Unterkunft befindet sich 100m von Strand entfernt. Es gibt eine Gemeinschaftsküche mit Kühlschrank zur freien Nutzung. Frühstücken kann man auch sehr gut am Strand. (Cafe on the 18th) Der Host und seine Frau kümmern sich um alle Belange und stehen mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Sei es Laundry oder der Transport zum Busbahnhof, welcher kostenlos war.

Der Ausblick aus dem Zimmer Nr. 4 war leider nicht schön. Man blickt auf eine Betonwand.

We loved everything! The place is so cute and the owner so kind. They always ask if you need something and are always willing to help you. We booked pigeon island and whales watching with them. It was amazing and they take care about animals, we were alone with the whales and dolphins. Rooms are clean and very comfy. The guest house is perfectly located very close to the beach and all restaurants. Perfect for the beach days and eat out. I highly recommend.

Great place right in the middle of the nicest restaurants and very close to the beach. The owner is fantastic and helped me out with anything I asked. I lost a connection piece of my diving camera and he drove me around to search for a replacement. Would definitely recommend. Be warned that the location can have some residual noice from music from neighboring restaurants. I wouldn’t call it a negative because it comes with the location and the property can’t do anything about it.

Room was clean, comfortable, and cool due to the strong AC unit. The hosts were also friendly and provided local activity recommendations.

The water pressure in the bathroom was quite weak, and given the location there was sometimes noise into the early hours (although nothing that ear plugs wouldn't solve).

Bagno privato distante dalla camera senza aria condizionata. Bisogna fare un breve corridioio per raggiungerlo e sia il corridoio che il bagno erano caldi e afosi. Entravano gli insetti dalle finestre del bagno. Essendo vicino alla via principale, di notte si sente la musica fino a tardi. Non é prevista la colazione. Probabilmente siamo stati sfortunati nella scelta della camera, magari le altre sono migliori...

Wir haben uns im Breeze Guest House rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Guest House wird von einem unglaublich herzlichen und hilfsbereiten Ehepaar geführt, das mit viel Charme dafür sorgt, dass man sich direkt willkommen fühlt. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist wirklich unschlagbar. Unser Zimmer war schön, sauber und hatte alles, was wir brauchten. Besonders gerne haben wir den gemütlichen Innenhof mit den Sitzgelegenheiten draußen genutzt. Zusätzlich gibt es eine kleine Küche, in der man sich jederzeit Tee machen oder Wasser holen kann – sehr praktisch. Auch die Lage ist super: Der Strand von Trincomalee sowie zahlreiche Restaurants sind bequem zu Fuß erreichbar. Das absolute Highlight waren für uns aber die Gastgeber. Sie waren jederzeit freundlich und hilfsbereit und haben unseren Aufenthalt besonders gemacht. Der Gastgeber hat uns sogar einmal mit seinem Tuk-Tuk zu einer Sehenswürdigkeit gefahren und wollte dafür nicht einmal etwas haben – eine unglaublich nette Geste! Wir würden das Breeze Guest House jederzeit wieder wählen und können es absolut weiterempfehlen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und die herzliche Gastfreundschaft!

Great place and very friendly people.

Right at the beach on the best street with spacious rooms and good AC in a very nice environment. It was quiet, we had a lovely time, we also requested a laundry service that very nice to have. Excellent value for money in the area! I would highly recommend!

La posizione è super strategica: a 2 minuti a piedi dalla spiaggia di Uppveli, in particolare vicino al Mercato Fernando. Uscendo dall'altro lato si è catapultati nella via commerciale di ristoranti e negozietti che quasi nascondono il fatto di essere in Sri Lanka. La camera modesta di dimensioni ma con un bel bagno, pulito. A disposizione un frigo che abbiamo usato per tenere al fresco la nostra acqua. Lo staff (Shas) molto disponibile e cortese.

Pensavamo di poter fare colazione direttamente in hotel ma ci è stato reindirizzato verso un locale adiacente (penso sia spesso così).

Very nice place, we booked it for a day. There were scooters for rent and restaurants to go around, which was very helpful. The guest house owner was very helpful to us. We definitely want to come back here one day.

Amazing location right next to the beach and main strip of bars and restaurants! Clean room and bathroom with included toiletries and extra towels! They provided free tuk tuk rides into town if needed! Would definitely stay again.

The room was really clean and the communal area was nice. We had mineral water to refill our bottles and they offered scooter rental service. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the bathroom had shampoo and body wash.

The host family are very friendly and cooked us a great breakfast and some of the most delicious food I have had! Such a peaceful and relaxing stay.

Very nice guest house, 50m from the beach and close to a lot of nice restaurants (+ communal kitchen)! The room was great and had everything you need, including a very good AC which you really need in Trincomalee as it doesn't cool down at night. The owners are friendly and discrete, when I had to leave in the dark to take the night bus to Colombo they even brought me to the bus station by tuk tuk. I had a great stay, can recommend!

Kitchen was not always clean, but I guess that was due to other guests not cleaning up after themselves..

We waren blijverrast met de accommodatie. Het is een heerlijke plek en dichtbij het strand en leuke restaurantjes. De mensen zijn super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Wij hebben de fietsen geleend en dat is zeker een aanrader om het stadje te verkennen.

V cele oblasti trincomale včetně nilaweli úplně nejlepší poloha, kde se můžete ubytovat. Ubytování kousek od nejlepší části pláže, čistý pokoj , k dispozici kuchyně s perfektní lednici a mrazákem. K zapůjčení zdarma kola , takže jste za 4 minuty na kole ve wine shop, případně ráno můžete zajet na místní rybí trh a večer si v kuchyni udělat super čerstvou rybu. Cestují zde mésic a zde zatím nejlepší ubytování:))

De locatie was geweldig, de eigenaren super lief en attent, de kamers waren mooi met een goed bed en een heerlijke warme douche. Het ontbijt met vers fruit en een gebakken ei was ook top.

Location is perfect for beach vacation 😁 just 2 minutes from the beach. The stuff - Sas and his wife - super friendly and helpful. Sas speaks English perfect so it was very easy to communicate. He even takes me to hospital at night (gastritis reaction on KFC) for free. Also they give us beach towels and hairdryer without any charges. Room and bathroom is simple, a little bit old, need to renew paint on the floor but for us is ok. Bathroom is complete with shampoo, shower gel and liquid soap. We've taken room with fan, in low season there's no need in A/C. Also they have laundry service for not big money. And there's shared kitchen with all staff in it and big fridge so you can cook yourself. For me after gastric attack it was perfect. So if you need anything just ask Sas - he will help). Breakfast arranged in property - omelette, toasts, pancakes, fruits - everybody finds what to eat. P.s. Sas adopted a small puppy other guests found at the beach - so nice of him! He's a man with big heart!

Хозяева Сам и его супруга,прекрасные, доброжелательные , всегда готовы помочь если есть какие то проблемы,завтрак был прекрасный, расположение тоже хорошее,пляж рядом с виллой.Так же нас встречал из аэропорта трансфер, договаривался хозяин.Нури который встречал,прекрасный человек,цена на трансфер хорошая,не дорого и с комфортом.Хочу сказать всем Сам,Супруга,Нури спасибо Вам за наш отдых.

Everything was perfect. The owners are super kind and helpful. They are really good people with open heards, who will try to help You with everything they can. The room was really nice and clean and breakfast delitious. Wonderful place to stay. Hope to be there again one day 🙂

Alles! Sauber, Leute zuverlässig und zuvorkommend. Saubere Gemeinschaftsküche, sauberes Bad und schönes Zimmer. Moped oder Ausflüge direkt beim Host zum mieten. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner servieren sie auch nach Wunsch. 2 min vom Strand (bester Ort in Trinco). Komme wieder, es war großartig.

Siamo stati molto bene, il personale è disponibile per aiutare in caso di necessità e ci hanno fornito biciclette gratuite per andare a visitare la città. Il mare è vicino e intorno è pieno di locali per mangiare a tutte le ore. Inoltre il giardino è immerso nella natura e pieno di simpatici uccelli!

Property is in a great location - about 2 mins walk to Uppaveli beach which is gorgeous. Close to local food places and also a beach market that sells burgers, tacos etc so something for everyone. The property is lovely with a nice outdoor area to relax in. The room was clean and comfortable. We rented a scooter for 2500LKR for the whole day.

Sehr nette Betreiber, die immer hilfsbereit waren. Die Fahrräder konnte man sich umsonst ausleihen. Der Strand war zu Fuß in weniger als 5 Minuten zu erreichen.

De locatie is perfect, dicht bij het strand en het gezellige Fernando’s beach market. Houd er rekening mee dat je de muziek in de avond nog kan horen, maar niet zo hard dat je er niet van kan slapen. Vriendelijk personeel.

Waterdruk is relatief laag wat een klein straaltje bij de douche geeft.

Abbiamo concluso la nostra vacanza in Sri Lanka con 5 notti a Uppuveli, per goderci le splendide spiagge. La guesthouse è stata la scelta perfetta: camera semplice, pulita e ordinata con tutto l’essenziale, ma il vero punto di forza è il giardino esterno, con amache e panchine dove rilassarsi in totale tranquillità. La posizione è ottima, a due passi dalla spiaggia e dal famoso Fernando’s Bar. Gli host sono stati impeccabili: sempre presenti e disponibili, ma mai invadenti, pronti a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Un plus davvero utile è il servizio lavanderia: i vestiti tornano pulitissimi e profumatissimi. Fatevi consigliare una cena all The Grill and Sip, proprio di fronte all'appartamento: il cibo era veramente ottimo e potreste passare una serata diversa a giocare a Carrom con i simpaticissimi ragazzi che vi lavorano! Consigliatissimo!

Accueil discret mais attentionné de l’hôte, qui nous a aidés à réserver une session de snorkelling ainsi qu’un taxi pour notre prochaine destination. Le logement était impeccablement propre, avec une literie confortable, la climatisation et l’accès à l’eau chaude. L’emplacement est idéal : à seulement 2 minutes à pied de la plage, à proximité immédiate des bars et restaurants du bord de mer.

Le seul point à améliorer concerne l’évacuation de l’eau de la douche, qui se faisait difficilement.

The location is great. It is 2min walk to the beach. The staff is awesome. The owner is really chill and helps you book tours, do laundry, transfers, or any other stuff you might need. The room is spacious and the fan really works, we didn't use AC. The bathroom is huge and has shampoo, body wash and soap. A great value overall!

La casa è molto accogliente, fin da subito ci siamo sentite a casa. Posizione fantastica, stanza molto pulita con ventilatore e aria condizionata se serve. I proprietari sono molto gentili, ci hanno proposto diversi servizi tra cui l’uso delle biciclette gratuito!

The location right next to the main beach entrance and restaurants also means there’s party’s right next door. Bring ear plugs if that bothers you. Also, despite the pictures, the guesthouse no longer provides breakfast. There are plenty good breakfast places right next door though so that’s not an issue. Small thing to be aware of; check when you book if you have booked a room with or without airco. I had not realized, but it is common practice in Sri Lanka to offer both opportunities ( whereby the same room without the airco is of course cheaper). We ended up having to pay 10 euro’s a night extra to get the airco remote ( totally worth it!) . Not a problem, just good to know.

Fijne locatie dichtbij het strand! Prima accommodatie voor de prijs die je betaald. De host is ook erg lief! Hij heeft mij zelfs in zn eigen tuktuk gratis naar het station gebracht.

Op basis van de bookingssite lijkt het alsof er airco gratis bij de kamer zit. Voor een kleine toeslag is dit inderdaad wel mogelijk maar niet standaard.

Molto accogliente e rilassante, lo staff era davvero disponibile e gentile e la struttura è davvero vicina alla spiaggia. Ci sono inoltre molti locali dove poter mangiare nei dintorni.

La amabilidad de los anfitriones, muy atentos y simpáticos en todo momento. Ofrecen alquiler de moto, lavandería, desayuno y excursiones. La habitación era amplia y estaba limpia. Contaba con ventilador y aire acondicionado (de pago). Cerca de restaurantes y al lado de la playa.

De locatie midden op Uppuveli strip direct bij het strand en bij veel leuke restaurantjes en spa’s. De grote beschaduwde tuin met zitplekjes was ook fijn en de eigenaar Shas was zoooo vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Je kon ook de was laten doen voor weinig. Totaal ontzorgen dus. We hadden kamers zonder airco maar de airco was er wel bij te boeken. De kamers zelf waren simpel maar voldeden prima en we hebben geen airco nodig gehad. Er was geen ontbijt maar direct aan de overkant kon je heerlijk ontbijten. Je kon wel gebruik maken van de keuken. Overigens was er geen geluidsoverlast van een feest dat er dichtbij was.

Als je luxe zoekt dan ben je hier niet op de goede plek maar als je een fijne ontspannen verblijf wil aan een prachtig strand….

The owners were very kind and helpful, organising different activities and transportation where necessary. We went whale and dolphin watching. The guest house is in the ideal location, a few minutes walk from the beach, with a number of restaurants and bars just opposite. They offer services like scooter rental at very good rates. We paid extra to have air conditioning in the room and it was certainly worth it.

After having stayed at a number of guest houses in Sri Lanka, this was not the best. It needs some general repair and better upkeep. They have a wonderful garden space out front which could be better kept and the rooms themselves lacked basic amenities such as soap.
