This hotel was amazing value for money. The room was spacious, clean and so comfortable. We had use of the leisure facilities which were absolutely fantastic. My daughter especially loved the pool and sauna room. The staff were all really lovely, so helpful and welcoming! The breakfast was so tasty and we just couldn't fault anything at all. Would def recommend and would love to visit again if in the same area.

Team weren’t engaged, not friendly, especially in the bar/restaurant. Check in ok, however, had to ask where bar/restaurant was and how to get to Our room. Wasn’t offered to join the loyalty scheme

As always , very clean & tidy. The staff go above & beyond. 4th time staying here, love how you can get 8 days parking in with the stay , one less thing to worry about & already booked for next year 😊

Close to airport

We paid 173€ for one night and the room was very dirty and tired. It needs to be completely refurbished. There were a lot of cobwebs around the ceiling and the bathroom was particularly dirty (the tiling around the WC, the shower curtain). The chairs in the bar area were very dirty and the tables were not cleaned. Very disappointing overall.

Location perfect....very very comfortable bed...would definitely stay again for early or late flight

The location to the airport is perfect. The staff were friendly on arrival and departure, these were our only interactions.

The room seemed very dated, the carpets and bed bases were heavily stained, as was the shower curtain. It was ok for a night but it did seem a little over priced. Stayed at the Hilton at Manchester airport a few months back for less and received a warm cookie on arrival. Also be careful parking in the car park by the bushes and trees as you will likely end up with bird mess all over your car. Obviously not the hotels fault just something to be aware of.

Bed wasn’t complete or secured. Shower curtain was dirty, shower hose was slightly split near the taps. Breakfast could have done with being warmer. No crisps on sale at the bar or reception ( sold out apparently)

Well was not clean at all cobwebs all over , loads of dust on everything, bad smell blood stains on pillows had thet them changed they where fusty smell bed cover disgusting. Worse than last time we stayed and that was bad. Needs major clean & updating , food & drink way over priced. Aircon not work. & no lift .

The hall we were on smelled of sewage. They had used potent air freshener to try and conceal it, but you cannot hide the smell of drains.

Perfect location as it's so close to the airport. Spacious hotel with plenty of rooms and great facilities.

I had asked the young waitress how spicy the curry was on the menu ? She said that it wasn't that spicy. It turned out to be very spicy. After the meal, I said it to her, she never apologised. Lack of basic manners on her behalf!

I’d arrived after an 18 hour flight and was anxious to check in early. I paid £10 an hour to do so. No lift isn’t ideal if you have heavy luggage and aren’t allocated a room in the ground floor

The room was clean and comfortable, in a great location and its just a 5 min walk over to the airport.

Staff were fantastic both in reception and in the restaurant, nothing seemed like too much trouble

Closeness to airport, literally walk out of hotel, keep right and follow footpath round. Triple/family rooms available. In room safes.

Check in at 3.30 am was appalling. Staff member was obviously not happy being interrupted from playing on his phone or some such. There was no one else in front of us checking in. We had just had a 6 hour flight and it was 5.30 am for us, we had already checked in on line. Why did it take him so long to faff about checking us in (2 rooms, approx 25 minutes!) with others wanting to check in too. Allocated room upstairs with heavy cases, no lift and no offer of assistance. Doors on rooms have gaps under them so let in noise from guests leaving/coming in. Doors need soft closures on them! Breakfast had by some of our party was not good (tinned mushrooms!) for £17! Some plane noise taking off etc but to be expected when you are so close. Tiny bathroom, we were in room 114. Difficult to open door if anyone is in without chopping their toes off.

The whole key card system had gone down when we went, so the lovely staff members were having to let people in using a master key- we appreciate that this appeared to be a one off, however it did make us feel less secure than usual (especially with all the key card issues in the news recently)

We had ants in the room and I had 2 on my bed crawling. Told the reception guy when checking out and also about all the cobwebs in the room. I also have mobility issues and we were accommodated in room 100 furthest away.

The fact that hand soap or shower gel were mixed with the water (I guess it was all about saving as much as possible so that’s why the water mix). There was hardly any shower gel in the bottle plus the fact that it was mixed with water was a big no!!!

Great location, less than a 5 minute walk from the terminal. Was reasonably priced, especially given how close it was to the airport.

We were staying after our holiday due to the late time we landed. I called before I booked to check arriving during the night was ok, I was asked to email, the hotel confirmed it was not a problem as long as they knew, they put a note on the booking so it didn’t get put as a ‘no show’. I completed the online check in with the arrival time as well. I also messaged when I found out our flight was delayed. When we arrived at the hotel, the night manager was rude and said he’d put us as a ‘no show’. We were eventually shown to our rooms, it was at the point he left our rooms we were told there were no keys for the rooms as the machine had broken so if we wanted to leave the room, we either had to wedge the doors open or go to reception who would then let us back in again. The family was split across 2 rooms, so this wasn’t ideal. The day staff were more helpful and confirmed the notes were on the booking so it shouldn’t have been listed as a ‘no show’ and they would email the managers to make sure we didn’t get charged for not turning up in addition to us paying on arrival.

Near the airport rooms very large and bed very. Cofortable would recommend to anyone flying from East Midlands to book. It is the nearest to airport and good value for money

Ideal hotel for the airport

The food wasn’t great in the restaurant. Was a little disappointing.

Location within a short walk to the airport for an early flight and hire care return not too far away, comfortable beds, clean room, relatively quiet, food on site, easy check in and out with friendly desk staff. Value for money room.

Paid access to car park even to drop off without parking given non-stopping in surrounding airport area - should be drop off zone for guests but could see how that may be exploited given proximity to airport. Inevitably there will be some corridor noise as others with earlier flights leave. Some plumbing fittings starting to show age.

The hotel is ideal for an early flight out of EMA - just a short walk across the road. The hotel room is spacious - plently of room for 2 people to sort luggage ahead of a flight. The rooms have great soundproofing. Considering people are arriving late and departing early, we didn't hear a thing.

No separate filter for the food, but it was awful. We both had one of their branded Barrel and Stone pizzas, which was 80% cheese. I managed 2 slices and my husband 4. The staff on collecting the plates at the end of the meal didn't even ask how the meal was - I think it was quite apparent. We have eaten there previously and the meals was ok. Just don't order the pizza!

The room was adequate for what we needed. the bar and food amazing though disappointed in not having haddock!! however the service and staff in this area where brilliant.

the bathroom was a little dated and could look unclean because of this. the steps to the floor where the room was located were hard to negotiate with suitcases.
