I have no better words to say, and feel so lucky to find this place for our first trip ever to Canada. Thanks so much, Mary, to looking after us. We will come back one day for sure ☺️☺️

欲を言えば、部屋にポットがあると嬉しかったです。

Reviewed Sep 11, 2026Location was great: near a street car going North/South (to downtown by the lake) and a Metro Line going East/West. You've got the whole city covered from here. The family who runs the place were wonderful, and the room was clean and spacious. It was our first time in Toronto, and we had a great time. I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Toronto.
No complaints. The host had a coffee for me in the morning, and that was fine for me.

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026De vriendelijkheid van Mary. Ze doet echt haar uiterste best om het je naar de zin te maken. Soms zo erg dat je er nerveus van wordt. Ligging. Nog geen 5 minuten lopen van Bloorstreet en 20 minuten van Kensington Market. De hygiëne. Alles spatzuiver schoon.

Reviewed Aug 26, 2026Our room was super big! The private bathroom was small but in perfect condition. Good shower. Everything was spotless and modern. We had the chance to park our car in the private parking of the house free of charge. There are two spots.
Location was not what we needed. If you want to go on foot to the city centre, it will take at least 30 min. It is far from the heart of the city. We did not like the breakfast. It was all about artificial and processed food. (All carbs)

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026Molto apprezzato il fatto che fosse disponibile un parcheggio non a pagamento per la macchina. Posizione comodissima per il centro grazie alla fermata della streetcar (tram) a pochi metri. Per chi apprezza tenersi in allenamento, c'è uno dei campi universitari dall'altra parte della strada, con pista di atletica ad accesso libero. Raggiungibili a piedi in pochi minuti zone con vari ristoranti e locali.
La stanza un pò piccolina e non isolatissima, in quanto si sentono i rumori del traffico notturno

Reviewed Aug 21, 2026清掃が行き届いて部屋もゆったりと広く、クイーンサイズのベット2台で夫婦2人でくつろげました。洗濯機を貸して欲しいと頼んだら、籠にいれて部屋の外に置いておいてと言われて、その通りにしたらふんわりと乾燥された状態で届けられました。他の宿では使い慣れない洗濯機で苦労したり破けたりすることもありましたが、こちらの宿ではとても助かりました。少し湿り気を帯びた状態で届いたので、部屋でハンガーに干したらシワもなく良かったです。バスタブはありませんが、シャワーはしっかり出るし排水もちゃんとしています。シャンプーとリンスは無くてボディーソープと固形石鹸だけです。お水のボトルも4本ありました。トイレットペーパーが厚くて柔らかかったのも、嬉しかったです。

É uma zona modesta mas tem transporte à porta e metro a 5 min de caminhada. Facilmente chega no centro da cidade tanto a pé como de transportes. Na zona encontra vários locais para comer e supermercados. Obrigada Mary! 😘

Reviewed Aug 15, 2026Mary who runs the B&B. She worked endlessly to ensure you have a great stay. We wanted for nothing, replenished the water every day. You can help yourself to tea and coffee throughout the day. We sat in the garden reading and chilling. Air con was a bonus. It is a seven minute walk from the tube station and there are street car running north and south.

L'hébergement est situé sur un axe passant et à proximité d'un hôpital (sirènes ambulances la nuit) mais nous étions en ville donc il y a des bruits de circulation !

Reviewed Jul 24, 2026Die Lage ist top, man kommt problemlos ins Zentrum, zu empfehlen ist die App Lyft aber auch öffentliche Verkehrsmittel sind gleich vor der Tür. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, das Zimmer sehr sauber und das Frühstück top. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen, auch für Familien mit Kindern.
Ein wenig hellhörig, aber wenn man den ganzen Tag in Toronto unterwegs ist, ist man abends müde und schläft einfach.

Private bathroom was outside the room. Need to be conscious of what you are wearing or the noise you will make when going out and back into of your room.

Ontbijt is vrij standaard maar voor mij prima. Geen kledingkast op de kamer waardoor een lang verblijf voor mij niet zou werken.

Lidt tørt og flere dage gammelt brød, som fik en tur i microen og så blev det til at spise. Ikke det store wauw, men ok. Forskelligt morgenmad at byde på og te/kaffe. Mary gør, hvad hun kan. Der er høj sequrity, fint område i Annex, forholdsvis tæt på city og f.eks. Casa Loma og Yorkville. God 4 km gåtur ( ca. 1 time) til City. Med transport: Gå 15 min til Spandina Station og tag linie 1 mod Finch Station og stå af på Union (ca. 15 min). Skal du retur til Bathurst Street, hvor huset er, så tager du linie 1 mod Vaughan fra Union. Transport er let. Benyt dit betalingskort på telefon eller benyt Presto på telefon. (Benyttes i busser/tog og Metro). Boligen ligger lige overfor Toronto Tekniske skole. (Central Technical School). Flere spisesteder.

Reviewed Apr 6, 2026The whole house is spotlessly clean. I had a comfortable room and a private bathroom. Mary thinks of all the little details. The breakfast is excellent. 9 types of cereal. Bagels, croissants, sliced white, and multi grain bread. She also had boiled eggs, Italian ham and black forest ham, yogurt, orange, and apple juice. A whole lot of different coffee pods and instant coffee. She had different teas, 2 types of cream cheese, oranges, apples, and bananas. She doesn't let us do the dishes! I saw peanut butters, Nutella, and syrups. Would take an hour to eat all that! Beautiful, granite top kitchen island to sit and eat. Excellent location. 6 minute walk to TTC station. I slept very well. It was quiet, and the bed was very warm and comfortable. 1 minute walk to krispy kreme. Beautiful little suburb. I'll definitely come here and stay everytime I come to Toronto. It's a home away from home. She provides free bottled water and she's always around to answer questions.
Everything was perfect. Mary is a wonderful host.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026The moment I stepped into the house, it felt like coming home. Everything was spotlessly clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable—I slept for nine hours. When I woke up, breakfast was ready. Lying in bed, I could even smell the scent of laundry detergent—fresh and comforting, just like a mother’s embrace.
Nothing! The only downside was probably that my stay was too short—I really wished I could enjoy another night of sleep in that bed.

Sie ist immer vor Ort, öffnet auch bei sehr später Ankunft persönlich die Türe und hat immer ein Lächlen auf den Lippen. Das Frühstück ist so reichhaltig wie in einem 5*-Hotel und man bekommt netten Kontak zu den anderen Gästen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
