Reviewed Sep 2, 2026El diseño minimalista de la habitación... el tamaño muy grande de la habitación... el desayuno incluido en el Nut café de al lado... la piscina para relajarse con jacuzzi... y todo esto a 50metros de la playa, al lado de las letras y del muelle para los barcos.
Acaban de reabrir y algunos detalles fallaban, como una cerradura que no cerraba... pero cambiaron la habitación de los niños inmediatamente y todo bien.

I had a horrible experience at this place. I usually lock my room/bathroom/toilet from inside, in particular when traveling alone. However, in this case the bathroom doorlock was broken and I was locked inside without any possibility to contact anyone. Since it also didn't have a window I would not have been able to make contact to the outside. I screamed and apparently no one could hear me. I managed to fix the lock and could get out after 1h. When I told the receptionist someone came to fix the door but I received no compensation or anything for this terrible experience.

Reviewed Mar 11, 2026La verdad que fuimos con miedo/ incertidumbre por alguna reseña que habíamos leído y después de 9 noches alojados puedo decir que la experiencia ha sido fabulosa. Se nota que han puesto esfuerzo por mejorar. Tuvimos agua caliente todos los días. Hacían la habitación a diario. Nos cambiaban las toallas cuando queríamos además de darnos diariamente juego de toallas limpias para la playa. El personal fue muy amable. La habitación está bastante bien (limpia y con lo justo para estar cómodo). La verdad que por este precio no creo que en ningún lugar te puedan dar un servicio mejor. Sin duda repetiría si vuelvo a Holbox.

Reviewed Mar 10, 2026Me gusto lo céntrico que esta el hotel, puedes ir caminando a los restaurantes y el centro. La habitación estaba perfecta, limpia, toallas de baño, el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfecto.
No había agua caliente y el agua de la alberca estaba muy fría.

For få liggestole ved poolområder til at slappe af. Internet på værelset var ustabilt og langsomt. Var bedre ved poolen. Meget støj på værelset fra gaden (kan afhjælpes med gode ørepropper). Få steder at hænge håndklæder op på badeværelset hvilket er uhensigtsmæssigt når man bruger meget tid på stranden.

Nous étions dans une petite chambre au RDC avec une seule petite fenêtre donc malheureusement, il faisait très humide dans la chambre. Un petit plateau avec une bouilloire aurait été un plus.

La primera nos llevó por la escalera que no era, y cuando ya estábamos mi pareja y yo en plena ducha nos aporrea la puerta que se ha equivocado de nuevo y nos hizo movernos a otra diferente, en la que nunca nos comentó que no podríamos dormir por la música…. Además la piscina de las fotos es muy bonita pero no la usa nadie PORQUE DA A PLENA CALLE. Increíble todo.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026De locaties is aan de ene kant heel fijn doordat het dichtbij het strand is. Aan de andere kant zorgt dit voor veel geluidsoverlast. Het personeel was enorm aardig bij de receptie!
Ik keek enorm uit naar deze accommodatie, omdat de recensies erg goed zijn. Eerlijk gezegd was dit tot nu toe mijn slechtste ervaring met hotels na ruim 4 weken in Mexico te hebben rondgereisd, vandaar dat ik ook even mijn recensie wil schrijven. Bij aankomst werd mij verteld dat ik geen handdoeken kon krijgen omdat deze bij de wasserij waren. Ik had verwacht dat dit voor één nacht was, maar heb tijdens mijn hele verblijf geen handdoeken gezien. Verder sliep ik op de begane grond en had ik enorm veel last van geluidsoverlast. De wanden zijn zo dun dat als je ‘s avonds in bed ligt en er iemand langs loopt of bij het zwembad zit, het lijkt alsof deze persoon in jouw kamer rondloopt of staat. Heel erg onprettig.

Que el aire acondicionado no servia y nos cobraron un deposito inesperado de $1,000 pesos Aunque nos los regresaron en el momento de nuestro checkout pero no me lo mencionaron en el proceso de mi reservation. Pero por lo demas todo esta muy genial tanto como el personal y la ubicación exelente.

La connexion wifi ne fonctionnait pas dans les chambres mais accesible au niveau de la piscine Idéalement il faudrait mettre à disposition des voyageurs des accessoires utiles comme un sèche cheveux et un fer à repasser.

We booked a room with two double beds in this 4-star hotel with a pool in the city center. When we arrived, we were told our room was under maintenance. The only options offered were to move to a 3-star hotel without a pool, or take a small double room with an extra bed… with no compensation. The first room was damp, with mold and cockroaches. The next day, after complaining about our terrible night, we were moved to a bigger room but there was no hot water. When we asked for an extra bed, the receptionist said we should either sleep three in one double bed, or put a mattress on the floor ourselves. For every request, the receptionist said he had to check with the manager first, which made everything even more complicated. He also explained that our booking was actually for an “annex” outside the city center, which was never mentioned in the listing. We had specifically chosen this hotel for its location, so this was very misleading.

Wir und viele andere Gäste hatten kein warmes Wasser beim Duschen. Wir haben das während unseren ganzen Aufenthalt mehrmals bemängelt, das Problem wurde jedoch nicht behoben. Zudem verstopfte sich das WC sehr schnell, bereits am ersten Tag. Wir mussten das WC selber entstopfen, obwohl das Hotel zunächst eine Hausunterhaltsfirma beauftragt hatte.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026Ich kann über den Aufenthalt vor Ort nichts sagen, sondern lediglich zur Frage des Kundenservice. Wir konnten am Anreisetag nicht anreisen, da aufgrund von Sturm die Fährverbindung eingestellt war. Beim Anruf im Hotel konnte niemand!!!! Englisch sprechen. Nur mit Glück und Hilfe des Parkplatzbetreibers in Chiquila konnten wir uns überhaupt verständigen. Eine Anreise an diesem Tag war nicht möglich und wir mussten uns auf dem Festland eine alternative Unterkunft für diese Nacht suchen. Über den Reiseveranstalter wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass das Hotel unsere Anfrage die Kosten für diese Nacht zu erstatten oder eine kostenlose Stornierung zu ermöglichen abgelenht hat. Eine weitere Kontaktaufnahme unsererseits wird ignoriert und man erhält noch nicht mal eine Antwort. Schade!!!! Das ist wirklich kein Art mit Kunden umzugehen. Stornierung hin oder her, aber noch nicht mal zu antworten!!!! Ist für mich ein no go!

Mancano un po’ di servizi in camera come asciuga capelli e frigo, a mio avviso non fondamentali. Ma il disagio più grande è che in camera il segnale del Wifi non prende, in un isola dove la ricezione è inesistente, il Wifi in hotel è fondamentale.

Reviewed Jan 5, 2026Perfect position close to the beach and in the center of holbox. The staff was super friendly. The receptionist helped us to organise our three island tour and gave us all the necessary information. Rooms are clean and spacious.
The shower drain was a bit smelly but I think it is due to the island sewage system rather than the hotel itself. Would be good if a cover for the drain is provided in the room.

Reviewed Jan 4, 2026La chambre était impressionnante/magnifique et propre (nous avions la grande suite) ! La piscine était agréable et le personnel accueillant. L’emplacement est idéal ! A 100m de la plage et placé au centre de la ville avec plein de restaurants tout près.
Manque d’équipement : pas de sèche-cheveux, pas d’eau dans la chambre, pas de serviette pour les mains, pas de frigo. Même si la chambre était propre, la tuyauterie/canalisations sentait mauvais. Finalement, la route en face était assez bruyante.

Chuveiro sem divisória, deixava o banheiro bem molhado após o banho. Um pouco de barulho a noite por conta do bar da piscina.

Stanza nel sottoscala umida, odorante di muffa e per nulla insonorizzata. I nostri passaporti si sono piegati dall’umidità che hanno preso in 2 giorni di soggiorno. Il bagno non ha nemmeno una ventola per l’aspirazione.. inaccettabile che un hotel nuovo offra camere del genere. Una qualità simile me la sarei aspettata da una struttura datata, non da una terminata nel 2024. Le camere standard sono tutte al piano terra e praticamente nessuna di loro prende mai luce, valgono la pena solo camere superiori che sono dal primo piano a salire.

I had in the room since day 1: - no light in the bedroom section - no fan - no water bottle provided - bad wifi - no soap in the refill section - mini crockroach in the toilet section And let the reception know + messages to them via the Booking.com app. Then on my 3rd night: - same as the issues previously mentionned + no aircon + electricity shortage It was also super loud when I was going to bed. The receptionnist tried his best, and the handymen too, but they couldnt do much. Its just a place to avoid, as other hotels near by seem so much better. Not the best experience... And frustrated I picked that place for 3 nights in total... They told me I could ask for a refund, but I should talk to Booking.com to see how I could make that happen... Lucky me...

Personnel non chaland Pas d’eau chaude dans la chambre, nous avons du aller dans une autre pièce pour prendre la douche et revenir dans notre chambre. Cet hôtel ne vaut pas le coup. La chambre est petite et send l’humidité

Nous avons eu une coupure d'eau qui n'a pas duré. Piscine trop froide.

Reviewed Dec 27, 2025The hotel staff contacted us in advance and requested a 50% prepayment of the room rate, threatening to cancel the entire booking if we did not pay upfront via a third-party website. This requirement was not stated in the original offer on Booking.com. Additionally, the staff provided inconsistent deadlines for the payment (first 24 hours, then 48 hours, and later by the end of the same day), which made the request appear unprofessional and raised serious concerns about its legitimacy. Furthermore, the bathrooms have no ventilation, which causes the entire room to become humid and develop unpleasant odors after showering or using the toilet. Additionally, there is no possibility to hang or dry wet clothes, for example after returning from the beach.

Fruktansvärt högljutt. 5 nätter utan sömn då det ligger precis över en nattklubb som spelar jättehög musik fram till 06 på morgonen. Inget som stod i information. Helt omöjligt att sova i det ljudet.
