Location Location Location!

It was very spacious and had lots of room for our stuff.

It was advertised as having a washer/dryer. We were expecting that it would since we travelled a lot before Galway. We put our stuff in and it got washed we think, but never dried after several hours. I contacted the owner and got no response. We had to find a laundromat and carry our stuff there.

Great place to stay, super clean, super easy to get to places.

Milk in the fridge would have been a nice touch so you can make a cuppa when you arrive.

The directions to the property and how to enter building and retrieve the key were very good and easy to follow. The place was really nice and spacious and in an easy location to get to public transportation, and the ferry landing.

An electric fan would have been great. Ha We happened to be in Galway during a heatwave and it was a bit warm.

Front door & laundry door squeaked LOUDLY; hallway bath toilet seat loose & needs to be tightened; 2nd bedroom had huge mud patch on the ceiling that needs to be painted; linens/pillows could use replacement

Great location, 5 min walk to Galway’s main tourist area. Very spacious for two couples - well equipped with laundry facilities and kitchen equipment. Nice view onto Galway port - we enjoyed watching the cargo ships load and unload. Access to unit well communicated and easy to figure out.

Host did not respond to messages sent through Booking.com app prior to our arrival. A phone call worked better.

Very comfortable property in great location overlooking the docks. The property got the sun on the balcony which was nice to relax on in the morning before we went out for the day.

The wifi/Internet did not work during the whole stay (which also meant we were unable to watch the main tv). We sent messages to the property about it but got no response.

Owner was non-response, cold showers because of lack of hot water, washer/dryer ruined our clothing, furniture in living area is very uncomfortable, door was off hinges for bathroom and fell off, door knob fell off, drilling outside of our apartment at 8am!

Location was great. Short walk to attractions. Apartment was so cute and clean, nice amount of space, nice balcony overlooking the docks. Washer/dryer available in unit. Great value.

Not the property owner’s fault - parking in the garage is expensive $54 for the 2 days we were there but there’s cheaper parking available at the meters right outside of the apartment that was $30 for the 2 days. Also, the pull out couch isn’t comfortable for sleeping but not a deal breaker.

Great location, close to Eyre Square and and main shopping area. Loads of space in the apartment that would suit a family or group of friends. Car park beside apartment or about 5min walk to train station.

Gets very bright in the mornings as only blinds on windows, no curtains but this wouldn't stop me booking here again.

Apartment was freezing when we arrived even though the host knew we were on our way he could have at least had the storage heating on,there was bread in the press that was green obviously not cleared out before we arrived

Location was good

The property was perfectly located in town. We were able to easily walk everywhere while also being 2 blocks away from the Main Street so we got to relax at night without all the noise. I highly recommend this to anyone traveling to Galway.

Everything was what we expected. I have no complaints.

The position was good, easy walking distance to everything. The car park is right next to the unit, so that made life very easy. The heating, kitchen & washing machine were all good & very comfy beds.

It was a bit tricky to find the address initially but it all made sense once we found it. We had a small issue with the main tv but the tv’s in the bedrooms worked well.

Location location location! This two story apartment was conveniently located in the heart of Galway. The apartment was clean and the two bedrooms were small, but very comfortable.

Everything was fine. Malcolm made sure we had all we needed to have a great stay in Galway.

Nice apartment, suitable for two couples in an excellent location. Walk to restaurants, bars, Eyre Square, hop on hop off bus and everything else in Galway. Easy access and communication with host. Recommended.

For US citizens perhaps instructions on how things work! Took us a bit to figure out tv, washer/dryer and how plugs work! Owner very responsive and came to our rescue!

It would be helpful to know about boosting the hot water

The location is perfect and the appartment is lovely. Very spacious and a good view. The appartment is decorated quite elegantly and has everything you need. It was also very clean on the inside and all the essentials were there.

While we really enjoyed our stay overall, there were a few areas where things could be improved. Communication with the host was a bit challenging — messages through the booking platform went unanswered, and I eventually had to call directly. That worked out fine, but there was some confusion around our agreed late check-out, as the cleaner arrived earlier than expected. The house itself was quite warm, and at night it could be a little noisy. Also, the balcony and its furniture were unfortunately quite dirty, with a lot of bird droppings covering the doors and surfaces, which made it hard to enjoy the outdoor space. A quick clean-up before guests arrive would really make a big difference.

This apartment was at an amazing location and so beautifully decorated. We find ourselves lucky to have been able to book this location. Thank you for sharing it with us.

The property was in a great location for exploring the city and taking a couple organized tours. The size was great for a family of five. A couple issues we had were resolved quickly.

The location is unbeatable. On the Docks, incredibly close to the train station, Latin Quarter, Eyre Square, and endless pubs and restaurants.

The place could use some TLC. Bed sheets weren't clean and had black hairs on them, the duvet cover had spots on it, the toilet seat in the bathroom located inside the bedroom was broken and moved when you'd sit down, it also didn't have an actual cover to it.

Lovely property, very homely. Everything you need in a great location. Would stay here again.

Beautiful apartment, spacious, well-equipped, fantastic views and really comfortable beds.

Parking in Hynes is ridiculously expensive. It cost me €50 for two nights! The docks are cheaper for anyone reading. The water pump was very loud (common in this type of apartment), other than that… Only minor maintenance things. Adding these for the owner to be aware of, not as a complaint. The sliding door in the master bedroom is v.difficult to operate. The rad in the master bedroom doesn’t seem to work at all.
