Location was very good, parking garage kinda tight. Rooms were extremely clean! Included breakfast nice touch! good eats! Very nice staff!
Shower could have had better water pressure! Elevators kinda slow, seemed like long waiting period , once button was pushed for elevator to get to the floor we were at .
The location, the staff, the price, the breakfast and friendly breakfast servers, pool area
Older property, small rooms, very small bathrooms, very short toilets (hard for people with bad knees), slow draining tub and sink, no free parking for guests, hard beds (in our opinion)
Hotel needs a serious update but room was clean
nice selection for breakfast and liked that we were walking distance to many things
we had to bag our garbage and set in the tub ,had so many little ants show up
Convenient location, most attractions within a 5 minute walk. Decent breakfast. Beds are comfortable. Great water pressure!
The bathrooms are in desperate need of an upgrade, broken tiles and cracked walls. The hotel sits right next to the Mysterious Mansion and the music coming from there is extremely loud and goes pretty late at night. I had ear plugs in and could still hear it.
It was nice bed was comfortable
It was way to hot in the hallway needs air and needs air in the elevator on these the 90 days days. Need to redone parking garage there way to many cracks with the hotel setting on top of it. Need bigger parking spots. I live 45 min for there. Has a great view.
The stream outside
Old and dirty
Breakfast variety was good.. Also enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
Clean. Beautiful views. Excellent location.
It was always hot everywhere but our room.
The location is perfect for walking around downtown.
The lady at the desk was rude.
Close to everything
Parking was bad
Perfect location...drip...staff was friendly...drip...garage was tight, but if you can't park anywhere but Walmart, will need to backup..about...drip...10 inches of space on each side...drip...A/C..well, let's just say there isn't enough covers, cause when that...drip...kicks on, you will be looking to cuddle for warmth...oh, did I mention the drip...A/C condenser drip hoses are a little short, room above was dripping on window ledge...ever heard of Chinese water torture? Mentioned observation to front desk about extending drip hoses about 5 inches...lol...would definitely stay here again cause if you do Gatlinburg right, you wouldn't notice when crashing for sleep..
Location was great. Breakfast was great. Some staff were condescending and rude, other were great
Rude staff. No laundry. Slow elevators. Somewhat hard to navigate parking garage

Paying for parking at the hotel
Great location, nice pool and hot tub
Perfect stay other than the Karen that got wet in the pool at the slide complaining it was a pretty good stay I highly recommend it.
The location was FABULOUS!!
The elevator was slow and the hallway to wait for it is not air conditioned. The rooms still had adjoining room doors and that, to me, is a safety hazard. The parking is RIDICULOUSLY tight!! I have no idea how the larger cars parked. The parking is the main reason why we may not stay there again
Looked the view and friendly staff
Great location and great staff.
Had an issue with the shower but the staff responded promptly.
The closeness to down town Gatlinburg. The free morning breakfast was very good. The pool and hot tub very clean.
The elevator ride
Close to center of the strip, clean
Very convenient love the river view
Nothing
The cleaning staff was friendly, but I can't say that about the desk clerks I had to interact with.
The fact that you have to pay $18 a day to park in the hotels parking garage. No where does it say anything about that before you reserve the room. You get an email about that after you reserve the room & pay for 90% of the room to reserve it.
The view from the window was very good
The hotel needs a nice deep cleaning Dust everywhere They used to serve same breakfast everyday
Location, adjoining rooms, comfort, swimming pool area
חייבו אותנו ע"ס 16 וחצי דולר על חניה שלא ידענו מראש
Location is great. Walk to everything
Just needs updated and the breakfast
big beds,good location,friendly staff,clean
very poor breakfast
Love the location! A bit confusing to find the office inside the parking garage, but not a huge inconvenience
Coffee bar in lobby, outdated carpets and furnishings
Breakfast was good , location is perfect to walk around town
Staff. They were very nice. Location was decent. But had to walk thru a lot of parking lots to get to the main parkway. Breakfast was not typical, the biscuits did not taste like store bought and the gravy was really enjoyable.
Parking, parking fee, parking spaces, room (small) paid extra for a jacuzzi room, that barely would fit 2 kids, much less 2 adults, paid for a balcony, and it was butted up against the mountain and over a laundry room, asked front desk about it, and was told that it was supposed to be for "privacy". The toilet was tilted and looked like something from munchin land from Wizard of OZ, and the bed, well atrocious and extremely uncomfortable! TV was unwatchable, not that was why we came for, but would have been nice.
Best location! Clean, nice hotel.
Beds were not comfortable. Either need toppers or new beds. Also, parking lot is terrible. The parking spots are so small, you almost have to unload your car, then park it. And to top it off, you have to pay to park. I have stayed at 5 different places on the strip and did not have to pay to park anywhere.
Everyone was nice. Location was beautiful.
The musty smell of the room.
Cleanness, location
Some noise from outside that kept me awake
Clean, convenient central location with friendly and helpful professional staff.
No accommodation for gluten, lactose free dietary requirements for breakfast. Room coffee not the greatest.
Bathroom was clean. Room was clean yet carpet seems old and had a smell like mildew . Breakfast was great and staff was friendly . Close walk to stores ! Got to see bears !
Carpet in room ! Balcony could be bigger.
We loved where the hotel was. We could park in the Jeep and walk just a few blocks and be on the Gatlinburg strip. The pool and hot tubs were clean and relaxing. The breakfast was wonderful. It all made our stay convenient and enjoyable.
The only thing was the size of parking spaces. If you have a large vehicle and park it beside others, there is no room to get out of your vehicle. If you want to put your top down, you will need to leave the parking deck to do it.

Close to downtown
Had to pay a daily rate for parking. Our room smelled like an Amish armpit. The beds felt like sleeping on springs. The breakfast was ok.
The free breakfast was the only good thing about the stay.
Black mold in the bathroom, microwave unclean, hair in the bed, dead bug squished into the ceiling, flickering lights in the room, etc
Excellent location, Ffriendly staff and clean rooms!!
We have been staying at Edgewater for well over 30 years and have never paid for parking. However now they are charging for parking. This disappointed us the most because they have ALWAYS had free parking. Funny how something so small can make us stay somewhere else.
It was close to everything easy assess.

We love to stay here!
Convenient location. Comfortable and nice view from the room.
A bit older building, elevator often took a while. Other than that, nothing.
Breakfast and location
Bathroom needs updating with cracked tiles and the tub was painted
Convenient location
Maintenance needed in rooms. Bathroom small, tub worn.
Very convenient to main attractions within walking distance. Very good breakfast and the staff was extremely friendly. We had nightly bear sightings from the balcony and our grandkids loved it and we stayed up late just watching them. It was an exciting relaxing trip.
Only complaint we could have had was finding the check in sign as you pulled in to let you know to enter the parking deck and lobby location. The sign was not easy to spot.
Location was great!
The beds were a little out of date.
Location and price
Not enough elevators, took way too long to go down. Had to wait for several rounds of the only two elevators because they were always full
The property is in a prime location in the middle of Gatlinburg making walking around convenient.
I’ve stayed at this location several times over the years and this past visit I was surprised with a new fee to park. This is unfortunate. This is in the middle of Gatlinburg, not a big city with public transportation, with really no other way to get in other than your personal vehicle. To pay for parking on top of your room is a ridiculous.
I loved the location , rooms clean , bathrooms had great water pressure
The fee to park is ridiculous when you’re paying to stay there ! It’s almost $17 a night ! The breakfast is fair ! Nothing stands out , no fruit at all , beds are super hard and old
Location great close to stuff.
Bed a little hard and no bar.
Location, staff, and cleanliness.
Breakfast needs lots of upgrades, food offerings were same every day, lines are long and space is minimal. Was not impressed :(
The location was great not a lot of traffic on the road so you could leave the hotel easy, nice pool/hot tubs. Good free breakfast every morning.
The elevators were very slow getting to our floor, but everything else was just as you would expect.
Staff was very kind and accommodating, location is great for the area
Rooms were not very clean, bathtub had mold spots and hair in it from previous stay. The parking is terrible as the spots are so crammed together we had to slip in one side and pull out every day to be able to get the rest of us into the car.
Elevator very long wait times
The pool was nice and the water temperature warm enough . Great location
The bathtub wasn’t properly scrubbed and microwave didn’t work .
Close to downtown and on the river , staff was great
The elevator took too long, parking spots are too small,
the location was great. The breakfast was below average. There was no fresh fruit and the cereal selection was very disappointing. The overall hotel was dirty and smelly. The only thing good about the hotel was the bed. Very comfortable.
Carpet in the hotel was very dirty and smelly. I couldn't understand the man checking us in. He had a very foreign accent. The breakfast was below average.
How close it was to town and the breakfast
The drunks in the street all night yelling
It was peaceful and very comfortable. It was convenient to the area we wanted to visit.
The parking garage was tight. I was hard to get into and out of the parking spaces.
I loved how close it was to everything
Just the exiting sometimes was a little annoying.
Close too everything
Have too pay for parking
Location, covered parking, really cold room a/c.
The breakfast gravy was way too runny/watery.
Close to shops, food and entertainment.
Didn’t like having to pay for parking.
Location
The back of the building is filthy. When you look out the windows on the backside I had to get transferred to a different room with a better view which you definitely pay more for, but luckily they were nice enough not to charge me for moving me, but I was right above the dumpsters and I also found out that a little seven year-old girl fell off the balcony on the sixth floor and die along with other people that had mysteriously died in a fire in the garage and they give haunted tours on the street below the hotel because the hotel was supposed to be haunted and me and my son kept hearing somebody trying to get in the door so I probably will not be going back there
Proximity to town. Stay was overall ok.
Slow elevators, noise
It was a great location!!
I was given a handicapped room, but not sure why, it was not requested. Toilet was very low sitting so was not ideal.
bed was not comfortable, patio furniture was not comfortable and worn, Was disappointed that the mountain side was disappointing, was expecting to see a view of the mountains. Unfamilar with the area so I wasnt thinking the mountain SIDE you wouldnt have a view just trees. That needs to be more clear, I would have picked citi side if this was clearer. Definitely was dated but loved having the garage right below, nice to keep the bikes dry. All in all a great stay. Oh yeah need more pool seating/lounges.
Away from crowds
The bed & pillows were very uncomfortable
Everyone friendly and accommodating
Beds were awful, hard and sheets felt like sandpaper.
It was in the center of every place we visited while in Gatlinburg
Parking was narrow but availability was good. No smart TV to stream device and toilet seat was too low. But nice room.
Great location
Friendly

The staff were pleasant and the breakfast was pretty nice. The view from our room was beautiful but be careful because the other side of the hotel is just looking at overgrowth and dumpsters/parking.
Small hairs found throughout the room. Warped/crumbling cheap office ceiling tiles in the bathroom. Tiles coming off wall in bathroom with black mold behind it. Shower head and toilet hookups looking like they were going to come out the wall. I dont think the carpets been replaced in well over 20 years. I wasnt very comfortable being barefoot in my own room. Pool was ATROCIOUS. Ivy growing out the walls. Horrible patchwork in caulking. Water felt icky despite the chlorine being bad enough to burn your eyes the moment you entered the area. One of the hot tubs was literally CRUMBLING so bad I at first thought someone had somehow put sand in it. Then later realize that the pool was leaking INTO THE PARKING GARAGE A FLOOR BELOW so its structurally TERRIFYING. Pot holes so bad upon pulling in you could easily bend a rim. The parking garage barely fits a normal sedan. THIS PLACE NEEDS HELP
מיקום ואנשים נחמדים
לכלוך מטורף חדרים ומעליות מסריחות
Parking lot real tight and narrow curves
Peaceful and far enough away but still close enough to everything
Stay was fine. Front desk gal was extremely nice and helpful. Room was clean but bathroom could use some updating. It was clean however. Our room was for handicap use so shower water went out onto the floor.
Of course location.on the river
Parking it's tight spots especially for dumb drivers
Breakfast
Was not as advertised. Parking horrible. Staff rude eat front desk. Very old and outdated. Poor management. We stay in gatlinburg at least twice a year. Tried this hotel due to the advertised amenities. Out of the 25 plus visits to the area I can say this was absolutely the worst value for the money paid. Will not recommend anyone to stay.
Staff was very friendly.
Elevators were extreme slow. Showers water pressure and temperature was terrible. Beds were springy and uncomfortable.
location was great. The hotel is right in the middle of everything. The beds were comfortable and that was all that was a positive in the room. All of the staff was super friendly.
Elevators were disgusting. As soon as you walk out of the elevator onto the floor, the smell is just terrible. The carpet is dirty and stained. I would give the breakfast selection a 2/10.
Location
I was called and told to move my car. I had a handicap sticker and paid for parking. Whoever called was rude and demanding and woke me up out of my sleep. It was someone on night shift.
Everything was great. No complaints at all.
No laundry room. Had to take wet clothes from the pool home.
Room
Breakfast
Ants in the room, musty smell but it is an old building and right on the river so not much can be done about that. It just made us feel dirty.
Location
Parking charges and prices went up .
Near the attractions
They moved our parking to p2 but on the p1 theres lot of car parking same size like us when we move to p2 it so annoying because the staff or security were smoking we have a baby and my baby smell that si that is so annoying we don’t like it
Location and near to attractions
Not clean and bad smell in the room, bugs biting
The location
It was a bit outdated. Parking was bad.
We stay at the Edgewater for the pools.
I didn't like that I was charged 2x. Charged 1x by Booking.com and another charge upon check in where the staff insisted I had not paid. Also, breakfast seemed lacking. They had no brown sugar or raisins for oatmeal. No cream cheese for bagels.
Location was great!
I didn’t like the fact that we had to pay extra for parking at a property we were already paying to stay at. Elevator was very slow and ice machine was out of service on our floor the majority of our stay.
I liked the location easy to get around town
Parking garage parking spots are to small . Only good for small vehicles!
Location was great, food was great, staff was friendly and helpful.
The toilet didn’t flush great which made it clog easily. They did leave a plunger for me when I asked. Also the hair dryer in the room was broke and they said that they would bring a new one up but it never arrived. They were busy though with it being 4th of July weekend. The parking is not free anymore like last time we stayed so when booking you need to calculate an additional nightly charged.

How long the elevator took, the breakfast sucked, how small the pool area was
The location is perfect for going to Gatlinburg. The rooms had a nice balcony.
There were bugs in the room. The ice machine did not work.
The staff was friendly and helpful the views were great
