Downtown Beachfront Isla Verde Tropical Apartment

We absolutely loved our stay! The area was beautiful, convenient, and we really enjoyed everything about the location. Parking was also a huge plus and made our stay so much easier and stress-free. The owners/hosts were very friendly, attentive, and quick to help whenever we needed anything. We truly appreciated how welcoming and accommodating they were throughout our stay. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely love to come back again in the future. We highly recommend staying here! ❤️🇵🇷

Great location. Pool was great. Right on the beach. Everything you need on the same road.. Place a little outdated but comfortable. Secure parking on premises. Owner responded quickly. Had some minor setbacks but taken care of.

The property is located in the downtown area, just a few meters from the beach. It has a balcony with a beach view. The TVs had the common streaming apps installed, and some were already logged in, so we were able to watch a few of our favorite shows during our stay. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and having a supermarket directly across the street from the building was convenient.

Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall condition of the apartment did not meet our expectations. The curtains, pillows, bathroom floors, and living areas did not appear to be properly cleaned. The couch also had several visible spots and stains. The kitchen was not well equipped, and the dishes provided were old and did not seem to be thoroughly cleaned. The trash bins throughout the apartment were basic plastic bins, and basic toiletries such as shampoo and soap were not provided, which are commonly available at many Airbnb properties. Although the balcony had a beach view, it was quite dirty and had a significant amount of bird waste, so we were not comfortable using the outdoor space during our stay. There were also some maintenance issues. The TV remote did not work, and we had to take batteries from another device in the apartment to use it. The refrigerator was not cooling properly, so we had to use the freezer just to keep our water bottles cold. Considering the amount we paid for the stay, we expected a much better standard of cleanliness, maintenance, and basic amenities. Overall, the facilities provided were disappointing for the price.

No hay suficientes toallas ni de baño ni de playa , no hay platos, vasos la cocina no está equipada para nada , no había bolsas para la basura . Falta de ropa de cama y almohadas. No tienen nada de sillas o cooler para poder bajar a la playa, demasiado complicado las puertas de salida y entrada a la playa . El parking es demasiado bajo el techo algo que es complicado según que carro estés manejando. Cosas que deberían estar especificadas en la descripción del apartamento.

Nos gustó mucho el apartamento, la vista y las instalaciones del conjunto residencial. Nos encantó que tuviera salida directa a la playa y que tiene muchos restaurantes, supermercados y locales comerciales alrededor. Los complementos como las toallas, agua caliente, elementos de cocina estuvieron bien, etc.

Tuvimos inconvenientes con la luz del cuarto principal, sólo funcionaba una de las lámparas de mesa y el ventilador se veía que tenía luz pero no fue posible prenderla, de todas maneras, no fue un impedimento para tener una estancia agradable. Además, las camas tienen resortes que suenan.

Overall, I loved it. There were some cons but all in all the stay was great. The balcony was superb. Although the trees at the property blocked our view a little bit. The beach was great although we had mostly r as in the whole time but the access to the beach and the sitting area is nice. Close to everything. Uber is cheap.

While we were there, there was a main water line that burst prior to our arrival that caused us to not have water the majority of our stay. However, in the evenings we would get water long enough to shower and clean up.

Beach access was nice

The room felt so outdated, at night the lighting makes it feel so gloomy. The balcony door was broken, we could not access the balcony from the master bedroom.If you want a place that sleeps 8 comfortably, but don't care about the way the apartment looks, this is good. Getting around with only one key was a challenge. You need a key to access the pool and the beach, we had to keep going back and forth to open for others in our group.

No shampoo, no body wash, host didn’t send the apartment number and wifi, we had to wait to get those. Kitchen doesn’t even have salt and pepper.

The view was excellent, the apartment is high quality, big, clean.

The location. The beach was perfect and clean. No sea grass and stinky salt like further down the beach. It was right on the beach, meaning no crossing streets or walking blocks. There was restaurants and stores very close. Key FOB for private entry, no cut thru traffic. Uber from airport was $7, to Old San Juan $11. It was a perfect get away.

Close to the beach

Not clean, Fruit flies/nats all over the place. No running water for like 12 hours, couldn’t shower or even flush the toilet. Bed’s, furniture all old and very uncomfortable to sit or let alone sleep on.

The beach access was very convenient.

The building was old. The halls were dark, most lights didn’t work in the hallway. First of all, the unit that we were in had plumbing issues. In the unit, the sliding glass door was broken, there was exposed electrical wires, and open vents, the second room was a lot smaller than we anticipated.

Good balcony views of beach

The apartment appeared to be dated to original construction date. Plumbing fixtures were defective, air conditioning loud, Balcony sliding doors off the tracks unable to open. Hallway fire alarm hanging from the wires not fixed to the wall. Furniture needs to be modernized.

Location is excellent

Pool was fantastic and surprisingly not many people there considering the number of units. Beach fantastic as well. Very centralized location yet our unit was quiet, no issues with sleep. 7th floor was great. The management of our individual unit was responsive despite some hiccups. I appreciated the responsiveness. Beds were comfortable. Plenty of towels provided. Having a dryer was a plus for wet towels. Our underground parking spot was superb.

We didn’t get to check in until 5ish day of which we made work. We requested and very promptly got an additional set of keys and fob. It would’ve been nice to have more fobs as getting to the pool and beach requires it. We had to coordinate a bit at times with our family with teens. A few things were just odd—needs silverware (less than 4 forks there) and some shampoo (plenty of conditioner and body wash). The air went in the middle of the night the night before our last night. They were extremely responsive but it wasn’t able to be fixed for our last night. We had rain and it actually wasn’t bad at all with the windows open and fans. The manager did his best to help.

Location is great close to everything walking. The view on the balcony is the best feature. Super comfortable and clean apartment. The host was great too.

Apartment was very clean but smelled like cleaning chemicals. Close to many restaurants and brach. Good security and close to higways.

Kitchen is extremely old and small. Including pealing cabinets, coffee machine stopped working adter three days. Dishes, pots, pans and utensils are also old, food sticks to the pans regardless of how much grease or butter you use and very limited quantities (3 sts of utensils). Only the tv in the main bedroom worked. The otgerctwo did not turn on. No beach chairs for use at beach. Humidity build up due to balcony door closing issues makes floors wet and slippery.

The apartment had no running water, we had to get up and move to a whole other complex because the owner didn’t know how to fix it. The cleaning was mid in both apartments we arrived at, the second one even had a used wine glass and dirty fridge. Ants were seen around the apartment. One of the rooms has no AC of this listed apartment has no AC.

The location is good because everything is close by.

The bed in the main bedroom makes a lot of noise when you barely turn. It squeaks terribly, the other person staying in the tiny bedroom will hear even your breathing. The two rooms are separated by a fancy lattice opening at the top so there's no privacy if someone else is staying in the 2nd tiny bedroom. They'll hear you even if you whisper You may get sick from the dusty ceiling fan, the AC vent that needs to be replaced, and the dusty closet doors. Also, there are lots of tiny ants.

Dim lighting in hallways leading to condo. There are 4 beds however only 2 full and 2 twin beds. From photos I thought that there would be 2 full size beds in master bedroom. But the beds were super comfy so no issues with that. Just fyi for those with larger groups.

Excelente localización, facilidades muy limpias y en buen estado, el parking cómodo y seguro, de fácil acceso. Tienen muy buena seguridad y protocolos que no permiten entrar a cualquiera. El apartamento cómodo, muy limpio, bien equipado, no nos hizo falta nada. Está al cruzar la calle de una farmacia que vende de todo y muchos lugares de comer muy cerca. Nos encantó que tiene acceso directo a la playa.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb in Isla Verde! The space had all the accommodations and comforts we could have asked for—clean, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained. The balcony was absolutely stunning, with gorgeous views that made every morning and evening special. The location was perfect: close to the beach, restaurants, shops, and just minutes from the airport. Everything we needed was easily accessible. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

The apartment was ok. The cabinets in the kitchen need to be replaced. There is no window or storage in the second bedroom.

Appreciated the location, very walkable to restaurants, coffee and groceries. Condo was very clean.

When we arrived, there was no power in the neighborhood, which wasn't the fault of the owners, however, other renters we ran into were made aware of the outage prior to their arrival. I didn't realize that the 2nd bedroom has no windows, there is lattice work at the top of the wall, which makes it "open" to the other bedroom. It was fine for our 2 night stay but if staying longer would have liked the bedrooms to have more privacy. More chairs on the balcony would be awesome so everyone can sit out and enjoy the fresh air. There were very limited chairs around the pool area and they were cabled down and could not be moved to find sun/shade- again, no fault of the owner, just a quirk of the property.

Location was awesome. Size was good.

Fir $400/night you should be able to flush your toilet. Not having 4 people use a waste basket for the toilet paper.

The location and access to the Beach was amazing. The Pool was nice too.

The beds where not very comfortable and the smaller room didn't have a night stand; dresser or closet. Very small. We couldn't close the Bathroom door because the Lock was broken and we informed the owners so they could fix it before next guests. We didn't mind that much as there was still a door to the Toilet and Shower that could be used.

The apartment is beach front, drink service on the beach, umbrella and chair rentals available, awesome pina colada’s in pineapples at the end of the beach that are amazing, Ubers we’re available and affordable.

The front security was a little difficult.

2nd bedroom was very small

We liked that it was on the beach and had pool access. There were several food options within walking distance. And we felt reasonably safe.

We didn't like the ants that were in the kitchen. We even found some in the main bedroom. (We had no food in the bedroom.) We didn't like the lack of light when trying to unlock the door. And we didn't like that the 3rd bed was in the living room where there is a lot of light when the sun comes up.

Location to beach and restaurants was very nice.

Apartment wasn’t anything like pictures, very dated, small bedroom was hot, was told they would bring a fan and didn’t, front light was out, was told first day they would get it fixed, never did, no blankets at all except sheets on bed. Pool was freezing, couldn’t get in at all.

The location is excellent, beach front. Also, a great pool and the apartment was very clean.

The playground was closed for remodeling and the dryer was not working properly.

Location was nice. Condo was nice and clean.the beach was beautiful. We were able to walk to restaurants near by. Went to watch the football game at a sports bar near by.

Ac was super cold. Lol. My husband loved it! I would step out on the balcony to warm up. All in seriousness,,, no complaints.

Location is good, near shops and reataurants

Needs lots of cleaning, under the sink, ceiling fan blades, main entrance closet doors had thick layer of dust, oven/toaster was not cleaned, coffee machine was not completely cleaned from last used. Did not have dish soap nor laundry detergent.

Everything, close to everything and right on the beach and it's private you need a key or room number to just get into the property.

The sliding glass door needs to be fixed

The apartment is located in a great spot in Isla Verde. The owners are always available to support guests. They respond promptly to messages and calls.

Super clean apartment with everything you need. Next to the big hotels in Isla Verde walking distance to everything. Direct access to the beach. Hosts super atentive and helpful.

Great location with everything nearby. Comfortable beds and pillows. Very clean with plenty towels and blankets. Cold AC. Responsive host.

No shampoo or soap to take a shower with. Furniture in living arranged odly...more like lots extra beds everywhere for larger groups. Apparently the website was wrong and I needed to pay for the cleaning fee in addition to the total price listed online after the reservation was confirmed. Unable to take credit card payments and had to make arrangements on the fly.
