Pine Forest Cottage

Whole house, has everything you need and its really quiet.

The road is quiet rough but if you travel during daylight it is manageable

- The location is nice and in the middle of a forest. - The nights were quiet and peaceful. - The bedding was clean and cottage was mostly comfortable, although the house needs some serious maintenance (ceilings and walls are in a bad condition) and attention to detail (painting on wall were all haning skew). - It had all you could need (except cold water in the shower).

- The road to the cottage from the tar is really bad, but managable. It is advised to get to the cottage before dark for this reason. - The shower had boiling hot water with no working cold water tap. It either meant burning yourself trying to get some water on yourself or doing a navy shower until the boiling eater reached the showerhead. - The ceilings and walls were in a bad state and have not seen a lick of paint in decades. - The communication was very bad in the days before we arrived that we started to think that we had been scammed and started looking for alternative accommodation. Litteraly on the last attempt to call, our call was finally answered ( we also treid to reach out the days before on the booking app, whatsapp and by mobile call on the day of the booking).

Your Place was Great my Guests enjoyed 😉 so you can just Consider adding a Swimming pool

Lovely large old house. Very comfortable. Good value for money.

Dishwasher flooded the kitchen. Monkeys stole food out of the pantry.

The house is spacious with three bedrooms. The kitchen was fully equipped. Cleanliness was excellent.

The road off the main road is in poor shape.

Everything about the place was what we expected.The beds were comfortable,the house was so clean.The guy even allowed us to wash our vehicle.A very quiet place…we’re definitely coming back before the year end.

Die Unterkunft war größer als erwartet, wir hatten viel Platz für alles, es war zwar ein altes Haus, aber mit eigenem schönen Charme. Wir wurden nett begrüßt.

Das Cottage liegt wirklich weit weg von allem, die Straßen dorthin waren nicht mehr befestigt und teils sehr abenteuerlich. Und etwas Salz und Pfeffer in der Unterkunft wären schön gewesen.

Nerina did a great job cleaning. Most rooms were old but clean. We enjoyed the porch. However the musty smell in the back bedroom and bath is probably in the flooring and walls and needs a renovation to remove the mildew.

Most of the photos used for the property are for the other apt and not the one we stayed in. Washing machine was listed but NOT provided. We had to leave early due to the TERRIBLE road conditions; you drive a private logging road. Guests should be warned they need a high clearance vehicle. We left because we did not want to damage the car. We booked for four but stayed only two nights. The host would not refund us the last two night's pre-paid lodging cost so we cannot recommend a visit.

The place was very aesthetic and comfortable. The green outside was beautiful

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce logement. La maison est grande, spacieuse et très propre, ce qui nous a tout de suite mis à l’aise. Elle est également très bien équipée, avec tout le nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez soi. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié son charme : elle correspond parfaitement à l’image que l’on se fait d’une maison typique d’une ancienne carrière de mine, chaleureuse et authentique. C’est un endroit plein de caractère que nous avons vraiment beaucoup aimé. Nous recommandons sans hésiter ! En revanche, munissez vous d’un 4*4 car la route est en mauvaise état

very nice location to relax the mind and refresh, the manager was quick to respond the emergency we encountered on our arrival

the route to the resort is very bad (huge potholes) and the navigator looses the signal along the way

Maison très grande avec 3 chambres pour 2 personnes, 1 belle cuisine/salle à manger avec lave-vaisselle, 1 grand salon et une terrasse que nous n'avons pas utilisée. Nous avons été très bien accueillis et notre voiture était dans le jardin fermé. Le seul bémol est la route d'accès très endommagée à ne surtout pas faire de nuit.

Having only one bathroom. There was no housekeeping service. I stayed for 3 nights, no one made my bed or cleared dishes in the sink. I had to sleep in an unmade bed all the time

Very clean. Great beds. A very spacious house with a great view of the mountains from the windows. I liked the surroundings, it's like living in a rural village where it's safe and beautiful. The feeling that you have returned to the past.

Maybe a little renovation would be needed,but then would lose the breath of the past

The accommodation is above the value. I will use it again and recommend Pine Forest to others

The roads are bad. The municipality needs to look at the roads... the side roads and some parts of the main road need to be fixed. It's not good for the economy.. a tourist destination with terrible roads.

The location was good but the roads were pretty bad, not the owners fault. The host was exceptional, such friendliness you won't ever find. Games to play with your family as well.

Les équipements mentionnés dans l’annonce n’étaient pas présents (machine à laver / four).

Wynajmujemy stary ale dobrze utrzymany dom. Czuć klimat. Wszystko bardzo dobrze utrzymane. Chętnie zostałbym tam więcej dni.

Minusem jest jedynie dojazd - jakieś 5 minut zniszczoną drogą.

We enjoyed staying at Pine Forest Cottage. It had all the amenities that we needed. The bedrooms were lovely and the beds were super comfortable. It was central for visiting places of interest in the area. Nerina was a lovely host and made us feel at home.

The main road into Klein Sabie was not good at all. Lots of potholes.

The host was very friendly and understand and even when we made noise did understood,the place was clean ,its also safe and the wifi is good too..

The place needs a tv and a garage or a shelter for cars to park since the place has high chance of raining..

The property is very well equipped and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was very good and loved the whole vibe of the property. The garden is lovely, and the beds are out of this world.

The road leading to the property is bad, but that is not in the control of the owner or host and there is nothing they can do to improve that. Roads in the whole Sabie area are bad.

Poor location. Roads are terrible and full of potholes. Description on Booking.com suggests the house is probably in a well looked after estate with mountain views etc. Not the case. Situated in run down decaying suburb and certainly not in an area reflective of what Sabie is known for. i.e forests greenery, scenery etc. The one road to the house is adjacent to the local township where those dwelling there choose to dump their rubbish along the road.

Quiet neighborhood in a very beautiful part of South Africa. The value for money of this property is excellent. We would love to come back and spend a week in this area sometime.

The description of the property said that it has a washing machine, dryer, and oven. It does not. We were planning on using the washing machine, so we were a little disappointed.
