Sehr freundliches Personal, das Buffet war sehr gut.

Der Ausstattung im Hotel und in den Zimmern wird einem 5 Sterne Hotel nicht gerecht. Auf den Balkon gab es keine Sonnenliegen. Der Hotelmanager begrüßt freundlich und nach einer Rückfrage hat er sich nicht mehr gemeldet. Das gleiche passiert uns Guestrelation Manager.

Die Anlage ist super schön, mit einem wunderbaren privat Beach. Das Personal ist super zuvorkommend und höflich! Wir haben den Stop (3 Nächte) genutzt, um runter zu kommen und nur zu entspannen - dafür war es perfekt.

Einziger Minuspunkt ist das Essen: es ist vollkommen in Ordnung wird aber mMn den Ansprüchen und Erwartungen nicht gerecht. Drinks sind jedoch hervorragend!

The rooms are lovely and spacious with good air conditioning. The facilities were great - a stunning large pool, gym and spa. The beach is lovely with spaces to sit and lounge. The staff were very attentive. The food was also a highlight - evening buffets and breakfasts were delicious with a good range of options.

We hadn’t realised the bathroom on our suite was outdoors (our fault for not reading the small print) which made the bathroom less comfortable to use (was very warm).

The staff was absolutely lovely.

The hotel is located on the worse side of Pasikudah beach. Dead corals and shallow waters so you need sandals to go into the water. this totally spoiled the experience. We walked 10+ minutes every day to go to a better beach. The room was pretty but the hotel lacks in many ways and is not 5 stars at all - the pool is way too hot, the food at the buffet is really not tasty (we recommend the downstairs restaurant), we did not quite like the outdoor bathrooms - works in the Maldives but not so much in Sri Lanka. We shortened our stay to change hotel with no possibility of partial refund so it was a very costly mistake.

Loin d'être un hotel 5 étoiles. La chambre n'était pas propre et n'était pas du tout fidèle aux prestations indiquées sur la fiche. Villa de 118m², qui est en réalité une chambre avec salle de bain extérieur et voisins au dessus... à coté du restaurant et sa musique très forte . Le personnel est très gentil mais pas au niveau d' un 5 étoiles. Buffet très bas de gamme... idem, la plage était sale, les bains de soleil laissés avec les consommations des autres clients sans être débarrassés. pas suffisamment de bains de soleil, à la piscine ou à la plage.

Super nice staff, rooms were nice (except for the outdoor bathroom it was boiling hot during the day). The beach area at night was beautiful.

Pool water was disgustingly hot. The sea was rocky and very shallow. Poor breakfast. Way overpriced. Why people rate this place high is beyond me.

The rooms are beautiful, very clean and very tidy. It is a very well kept hotel. Staff are really lovely and could not be more helpful. It is a lovely hotel.

We only had 2 days there which was perfect but there isn’t an awful lot to do around the hotel and beach and sea itself is not swim able. It’s a minor gripe from us because we all adore swimming in the ocean and it isn’t suitable from the hotel. It’s more like a bathing pool and you can only get as deep as your knees. However you can walk round the bay to the beach but obviously no sun loungers there. The swimming pool is also really really warm so you don’t get to really cool off when you go in it. The dinner buffet is a bit limiting and I think if we had stayed for a full week we would have got a bit bored of the food so I definitely wouldn’t recommend doing full board. It was also very confusing what was and wasn’t included in the full board options as we got told different things by different staff. Like I said non of this impacted our stay just things to mention and the rooms really were fabulous.

Gym is poor, equiptment from the nineties, I guess. Beach is not directly facing open water, not pleasant to swim in, at all.

Beautifully laid out and very comfortable room even with two children sharing with adults. Loved the semi-outdoor bathrrom. Kids loved the pool, karaoke room and pool table. Meals were very good.

Beach is ok for lounging on but best to walk to the public beach at Pasakuda along the shore (10-15 mins) for clearer/ deeper waters for swimming. Kalkudah Beach is relatively unspoilt and worth the 15/20 minute walk although the waves can be quite choppy.

Nous avions une chambre avec soi disant piscine privée, qui tenait de la baignoire. Sdb totalement has been envahie de feuilles et de cendres en raison des brûlis réalisés dans le voisinage. La chambre étant à 560 euros la nuit inadmissible

Lovely beach location and facilities. Great welcome and looked after by Keevsha. The body massage was one of the best I had by Pasida and the rooms were kept clean with plenty of towels by Janidu. The buffet breakfast was great and extensive and the service there was really good.

Some of the waiting service was slow particularly in the pool side cafe. Not quite a 5 star hotel. The buffet dinner was good but some of the desserts should be kept in a cold or refrigerated cabinet as they were melting.

The staff are all absolutely amazing. They are so welcoming and happy to help. A special thanks to Suvalashan who looked after us so well in the restaurant, along with the other staff. Thanks to the hotel for arranging decafinated coffee for me, the only hotel of 7 that we stayed in that managed to organise it. It was greatly appreciated. The rooms are very spacious and well decorated. They kindly updated us for our anniversary with a beautiful sea/pool view and a lovely cake. We'd highly recommend a stay here.

A wonderful small resort, with only few rooms (if I am not mistaken, there are only 35). The hotel is very nice, well decorated and with a wonderful and spacious room. Dinner and breakfast selection were great too. They also organize some small activities for kids, like treasure hunt or TV movies, which are not invasive and are actually kinda nice. The beach is nice, although the water is pretty shallow, but it is calm. The water in the pool is very warm, so for some it could be a cons, but for me it was really great. The staff is nice and very helpful. During night you can hear the monkeys running on the roof, sometimes making a lot of noise - we found it very nice.

The aircon in the room was pretty noisy, and the power was quite strong, so it could bother you at night. The bathroom is outside, so be prepared to find sometimes some foreign guests (we found a friendly frog).

The location was right by the beach so that was good. People were very friendly, warm and welcoming.

The room was horrible, there were insects everywhere, multiple lizards would enter the room because they keep the doors open while "cleaning" the room. There were worms in the fridge, they would refill the water with hot water in a 45°C Weather. My family and I were on full board, however every single drink we ordered during lunch or dinner was chargeable. They charge you for ordering cold water!!! Food during buffets were cold, and every single meal we had during the set menu was premade and heated in a microwave to the point that the meat was inedible. Overall the service was horrendous. Would never ever go there again.

Nettoyage de la chambre n'a été proposé qu'à six heures trente du soir. Nous avons dû changer de chambre( c''était une chambre avec piscine) car du chlore a été versé juste avant notre arrivée. Il est impossible de se baigner dans l'eau au niveau de la plage il y a quarante centimètres de profondeur et l'eau est à une température insoutenable. La température de la piscine la journée avant six heures du soir est tellement élevée que les joints fondes d'ailleurs les joints noirs de la piscine se sont collés sur nos vêtements, il y en a plein sur nos maillots de bain. Le buffet du petit déjeuner dans la salle principale, à cause de la température très élevée, les aliments fondent, il y a un vrai manque d'hygiène. Des produits chimiques ont été vaporisés pendant notre séjour alors que nous étions assis au bord de la piscine. Nous avons quitté l'établissement au bout de deux jours car nous n'avions pas trouvé de d'autres hôtels disponibles alors que nous devions rester 3 nuits. La troisième Lune a bien sûr pas été remboursée par l'hôtel. Comme vous pouvez le voir sur la photo, une fois que nous utilisons la piscine la salle de bains est submerger d'eau.

Wunderschönes und entspanntes Hotel. Wir haben uns auch mit Kleinkind sehr wohl gefühlt dort.

Mit Kleinkind ist der Strand aufgrund der Korallen nicht ideal, aber es gibt dafür einen Kinderpool und ein Spielhaus.

L’attention au détail. Le service était extraordinaire. La nourriture était meilleure qu’on n’y pense. C’était très silencieux quand même. L’hôtel offre beaucoup des opportunités pour faire des activités.

Au moment du Check in il fallait avertir aux clients du fait que la mer là-bas n’est pas tout à fait de sable et qu’il y a des chaussures de mer à disposition.

The beach was 50m from the dining area and easy to access; The swimming pool was also situated within 50m of the dining area. Staff were friendly and hospitable. Will definitely go back if I get a chance!

Lighting in the rooms could have been better!

I loved the the beach most, water is too shalow for swimming, but still can get a decent dip during high tide. Pool is well maintained and good for some morning laps. Staff is very friendly and ready to help. Ask for cocnut water, which is available at the beach.

For this kind of resort you would expect a pick up from train station. Restaurant selections seemed to be quite limited, but overall quality is good. Some unfortunate maintenence issues with broken lock, which I do not blame staff for at all and they did everything to solve it.

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Der Service, das Essen, das Personal, die Massagen und das Zimmer. Alles war einfach wunderbar. Thirasha, Thushara, Rumesh und Suvalakshan haben uns jeden Morgen und Abend mit einem Lächeln begrüßt und waren immer freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das hat den Aufenthalt im Hotel noch schöner gemacht. Wir kommen gern wieder. 😊

Der Pool ist leider tagsüber sehr warm. Aber das ist meckern auf hohen Niveau. Trotzdem waren wir rundum zufrieden 🙈

The apartment was clean and spacious, with great view, beaches are nice, although the water is a bit shallow. They have a great pool with a nice sea view. The staff members are very polite and atmosphere is pleasant. The excursions and transportation were great and, what is really important, safe. We cooked with their chef on the beach and that experience was really nice as well. Good value for the money, overall.

I would prefer buffet for dinner over the set menu. The food was nice, but it is easier when you don't have to wait.

Nothing - I’d like to never leave!

The staff at this absolutely amazing hotel really take it to the top. The people of Sri Lanka are generally hospitable but it was really lovely meeting the staff who genuinely take care of you such as Indula, Rumesh, Dilshan etc. This is probably the best hotel along the strip. Pure relaxation and the spa treatments out of this world, thanks Arshard for the recommendation 😉.

The food choices can be monotonous during a longer stay.

Best of all the staff. Very welcoming and friendly. The rooms and level of comfort throughout the resort was amazing. Great value for money . The food quality and variety of choices was amazing. We loved our 7 days there and would highly recommend.

Property was really great value for the money and definitely the best in Pasikudah. Weather was not good and if that happens you have nothing to do because there is basically nothing in the area. Everything around looks really bad.

Tout est absolument fabuleux. Le staff au petit soin, la nourriture excellente, la chambre hyper belle et confortable ( mention spéciale pour notre homme de ménage Kodeeswaran qui décorait notre lit chaque jour 😉). Un excellent rapport qualité prix. On devait rester 2 nuits, nous y sommes restés 6 !

A wonderful place: spacious, clean rooms and very friendly staff. Special thanks to the hotel manager, who was welcoming and helped resolve an issue with the air conditioner extremely quickly. Good sleep is very important when traveling, and it was truly appreciated. The hotel’s beach area is clean and well maintained. We came mainly for snorkeling, but unfortunately at this time the water was murky and the coral reef seemed dead. However, the beach itself is long and public, perfect for long walks. We stayed for two days, and during that time both breakfasts and dinners were very enjoyable (we chose from the menu). There is a large swimming pool. The massage therapist was excellent — special thanks for the high level of professionalism. I have a lot to compare with. Overall, there is plenty of activity: evening movie screenings, billiards, a bar, and more. We personally preferred enjoying nature and a calm, relaxing stay. The gym was small but had everything necessary; the only downside was that it felt stuffy, so it’s better to turn on the air conditioning in advance. Everything was great!

The hotel was not polished to the extend we expected, fitness facilities were broken, the food buffet was not as full as presented, prices not cheap (most expensive old fashioned ever seen). Overall the price of the hotel did not reflect the standard - except for the staff, which was excellent

Das Zimmer war sehr gemütlich und das ganze Personal super zuvorkommend und freundlich. Strand ist super und man kann direkt im Meer vor einem Schnorchlen. Es hat direkt im Wasser korrallen deshalb etwas aufpassen mit den Füssen

An gewissen Tagen gibt es A la Carte (Frühstück und Abendessen) und an gewissen Tagen gibt es Buffet. Ihre Stärke liegt definitiv in den A la Carte Tagen... Preis sehr hoch für Sri Lankanische Verhältnise

Großes schönes Zimmer, super Service. Schöner Pool und schönster privater Strandabschnitt am gesamten Strand.

The staff were exceptional in every regard. I am gluten free and informed the hotel ahead of my arrival. They could not have made more effort with assisting me with this and the food throughout our stay was varied, tasty and a delight to discover. The best gluten free bread I have ever tasted, baked especially for me, daily! Good value hotel, but rates in keeping with a 5 star hotel in the city. The facilities were adequate and a luxury feel in terms of well appointed and designed rooms. Good AC, clean and spacious. We were upgraded to a sea view pool villa ( booked a garden view) which had a lovely feel and ambience. Very spacious and lots of room to relax. Recommend asking for a first floor villa/room. The swimming pool and beach facilities are excellent though the beach is a bit shallow for swimming. For good snorkelling you need to book a trip, locally not much to see. The bar was by the pool area with indoor and outdoor seating an option. Nice air conditioned environment for the bar and a pool table were good additions. The gym is small but adequate. The restaurant area is in the shade but open air, so be aware regarding some tendency to flies and the occasional crow cackling away looking to see if they can find leftovers. Very lovely and attentive staff made this holiday a real escape and relaxation. There is a calm and uplifting vibe. The spa has a sauna and steam room and good reasonably priced options for massage.

Comfortable bed but the pillows are not so comfortable. Could do with options for softer feather pillows. The bathroom is outdoors which some may find less inviting after sundown.

Ужасный пляж, купаться у отеля практически невозможно, приходится ходить в левую сторону, на городской пляж.

Hotel, który robi większe wrażenie na żywo niż na zdjęciach. Podczas naszego pobytu hotel był podobno w całości zajęty, a mimo tego zachował bardzo kameralny klimat i każdy bez problemu miał leżak na plaży i basenie. Do plusów hotelu można zaliczyć przestronne pokoje (nasz z basenem w łazience), duże wygodne łóżko z normalną kołdrą (a nie prześcieradłem), smaczne różnorodne jedzenie, duży i czysty basen, piękną i zadbaną plażę przed hotelem, ale największą zaletą jest obsługa w całym obiekcie. podczas naszego pobytu wydarzyła się niemiła sytuacja, która mogła zdarzyć się wszędzie - ale to jak hotel zareagował i przejął się mną sprawia, że zasługuje na maksymalną ocenę.

Komuś może przeszkadzać za płytka (do pasa) woda na plaży bezpośrednio przed hotelem. Dodatkowo są resztki rafy koralowej, ale hotel zapewnia bezpłatnie obuwie do wody, a kawałek dalej jest publiczna plaża bez koralowców i z głęboką wodą.

First of all I must mention the staff. Excellent service with good team work. They served us very professionally of hospitality. Very delicious food and beverage. All facilities are good.

When I asked to book as a local I noted their first priority for foreigners. Otherwise prices for foreigners who come through different agents are lower than the locals who reserve through booking dot com or directly over the phone.

Tout, absolument tout. La perfection au maximum. Décoration magnifique, personnel adorable, piscine magnifique et aussi chaude qu’un jacuzzi, bar de plage, restaurants. La classe!

Absolutely breathtaking location and very relaxing layout - they’ve thought through everything really well. Beautiful rooms. Very friendly staff with some going above and beyond to assist. Good breakfast selection.

Unfortunately, the spa experience was very disappointing and we were both left very unhappy with our massages. Also, the cocktails were the most expensive we had encountered in Sri Lanka - £12 for a negroni! The cleanliness of the rooms could also be improved, specially the bathroom, and some of the staff could benefit from additional training.

Un grand waouh. Hôtel familial plutôt haut de gamme. Les jardins sont magnifiques. Les chambres (pavillon) sont immenses avec une salle de bains extérieure (douche, baignoire, 2 vasques…). Tout ce qu’on peut imaginer d’un resort. La piscine est grande et parfaite pour se détendre. La vue sur l’océan est splendide. La plage est vraiment très belle avec ses cocotiers. Très agréable de marcher des km le long de l’océan sans Beach boys. Les repas buffets très bien. Le service est au top. Les employés sont vraiment au service des clients. C’est effectivement le plus bel hôtel du séjour. Très peu de clients donc un magnifique hôtel pour soi. Tellement bien que j’ai ajouté une nuit.

Les moins s’il faut en trouver : Un mauvais wifi (mais bon en vacances…). Le quartier reflète ce qu’on voit beaucoup au Sri Lanka : saleté des rues. Quelques restos modestes en extérieur mais pas waouh. Mais ça n’est pas la faute de l’hôtel.

Beautiful hotel that sits on a stretch of private beach with direct access to the (very shallow) sea. The hotel footprint is not large (unlike neighbouring properties) but it did not feel crowded and we were always able to get space by the pool or on the beach. We had 2 rooms (one above the other) and were fortunate to have an internal interconnecting staircase between the two rooms. Rooms are spacious and have a daybed, as well as a balcony or patio. Air conditioning was powerful and a relief when you needed a break from the sun! There is a large outdoor bathroom, with a separate indoor shower and open-air bath. The large pool was a highlight of the hotel, along with the immaculate beach. The free pool table and the (underused) karaoke room were good fun (although you need to be able to navigate to YouTube karaoke songs). The beach bar with its swing was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful.

If you are staying for more than a few days - the dining options (main restaurant and poolside cafe) are a bit limited. The desserts for the buffet need to be kept in the air conditioned private dining area or should be offered on request. The desserts that needed refrigeration had turned into mush on the serving plates and some were even warm because of the ambient temperature, which was a shame as they were tasty. Some of the rooms need redecoration and repairs. Our reading lights didn't work (they were repaired when asked) and the bath plug required somene with a plunger to empty the bath.
