Grand Hyatt Kunming

Helpful staff. Great location.

I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Stacy for the exceptional service she provided during our stay. Despite the hotel being very busy and fully occupied, Stacy went above and beyond to accommodate our request to have both of our rooms on the same floor. When our original room type was not available on that floor, she kindly upgraded one of our rooms to make it possible. Her willingness to go the extra mile made a significant difference to our stay. She also took the initiative to ensure our transportation for the following day was properly arranged by coordinating with the concierge, giving us complete peace of mind. I would also like to recognize the male concierge staff member who assisted us. Unfortunately, I did not get his name, but he was extremely helpful, courteous, and professional throughout our interaction. Thanks to the outstanding service from Stacy and the concierge team, our stay was truly enjoyable. Their professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality exceeded our expectations. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future.

Taylor. Front office staff was very courteous to offer fruit basket after changing our room because the first room we got had cigarette smell. The staffs Danny at Yun Xiang Chinese restaurant very helpful and knowledgeable on tea. Food in the finest in Chinese restaurant

All nice

It was nice and clean and welcoming

Location

Really enjoyed this hotel, was next to a mall which was very convenient and breakfast was wonderful.

Service was excellent. Staff were fluent in English as well. Breakfast was amazing with a wide range of international food but sufficient spread of excellent local dishes. Loved the Chinese restaurant. Dined there twice.

Enjoyable stay. Dined again at the Chinese restaurant when I stayed here again a few days later.

Alles!

The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. The staff had a great service mind and were very helpful throughout my stay. The location is excellent, with a large shopping mall directly connected to the hotel. Overall it was well worth the money.

Although some staff members could not speak English, they were still very willing to assist.

Spacious and clean room. The staffs are very friendly and helpful.

Some of the staffs cannot speak English.

Everything

Beautiful hotel, perfect location, staff we're very kind and helpful.

Breakfast, ,room, environment, near the mall

none

Amazing service, room is very spacious and neat. Highly recommend

There’s nothing we didn’t like about this hotel.

The location was good , easy access to lots of yummy food and springcity 66

The command of english languages was very limited to few service personnel only

The labels on the shower and bathroom door seem to be backwards (push when it should be pull etc), and the room got too hot in the mornings and i couldn't get the thermostat to work.

Location, location, location. Close to subway and excellent food. Beautiful and modern property in Kunming.

No complaints.

Very clean, central location. The hotel staff were lovely and accommodating.

Beautiful room and view and modern mall beside.

the hotel was very clean and modern. Next door was a shopping mall

very pricey. As a muslim, not many food options. The shopping mall was high end so mostly expensive things. Not many english speaking staff

Ready, approachable and fast service staff! Convenient location to downtown attractions (e.g. Cui Hu, old street) and shopping district.

二泊三日でゆっくり休めてよかったです。プールやジムも使いやすくてよかったです。朝食も最高でした！

Location and modern facilities. Easy access to subway and excellent dining.

The service staff from the door to the counter desk to be room service to the breakfast table are all impeccable and knowledgeable. Love the details inside of the hotel room. The room is spacious and with a very comfortable bed. But if you intend to add another bed, it might be quite challenging. It does come with a day bed near the window. Just request an extra pillow and blanket. This hotel is next to a big shopping mall with all the high-end shops.

There's no bidet 😅 in the toilet. It was not a deal breaker, but it would be a perfect score for our family.

It is new, very clean, comfortable, classy and the staff goes above and beyond to make our stay memorable.

We booked a twin room. The room was very spacious. It would have been good if the bed was bigger. I'm 50kgs and found it a bit small!

Beautiful and exceptional decor

Very clean, great service, friendly staff.

Superb service! Spacious, clean, and well designed bathroom!

Leo Walter They are very nice and caring. And made best arrangement to meet our requirements. Very much appreciated

Grand Hyatt has a distinctive design to its architecture. Service from Suzanna was excellent. However, when we booked the guestroom, we used the AI Chat to enquire about a rollaway bed and was informed that it’d be inclusive in the room rate. It was not!! When we brought this up, front desk disclaimed it without even checking. Such miscommunications would not have happened if we were talking to a human and not a chatbot. It wasn’t a good experience. I think Hotels.com should take responsibility for such miscommunications. I have thoughts of not booking via Hotels.com once I’ve made full use of my rewards points.

Everything was perfect and comfortable, and the worker sami was very kind and helpful with everything I needed

This was our first stop in Yunnan and I have to say the hotel was amazing! It must be quite new, as everything still looks very sparkly! Rooms are super functional, nice size and very pretty. Every restaurant we went was great! The breakfast buffet is amazing! We had a buffet dinner there for New Year's Eve and it was super good too. Once we had a small snack in the lobby lounge on the ground level and the food was also fantastic and so was the staff! Bonus points for the next door shopping mall which is very cool too. Would definitely recommend when in Kunming.
