Great location in walking of everything. The restaurant recommendations from the owner were amazing. The place was newly done with bright white colors. Very clean and comfortable.

I’d only say that the room definitely slept 4 but it would struggle to have enough room for luggage for 4. Other than that it was wonderful.

David communicates well and helped us with parking. Room is a little small but comfy bed and nice bathroom. Fairly quiet especially considering it's in the middle of town. Excellent location- we walked everywhere and left our car in the car park (2min walk away and only 3euro per day)

It was the perfect location. The rooms were immaculate and new. Parking was easy. David was so welcoming and gave us the best restaurant recommendations — the food was amazing.

David var väldigt trevlig. Rummet var var väldigt snyggt och bekvämt. Badrummet kändes lyxigt. Det var väldigt nära till allt i Kilkenny.

The room was nice, clean and new, comfortable large bed with ensuite bathroom and hanging TV. It is a bedroom with a tray in the closet with kettle and tea/coffee tray and a fan.

More comfy seating option would be nice and a mini fridge/microwave would be so convenient.

Fantastic location, short walk to the castle, lots of pubs and restaurants around. Room was spotless. Cheap public parking just down the road.

Camera molto angusta, difficile muoversi e anche trovare lo spazio per le valigie. Armadio piccolo, per metà occupato da bollitore, tazze, caffé ecc e dal ventilatore. La descrizione parla di 21 mq, ma nella realtà sono decisamente meno. Camera adatta per una o due notti al massimo.

Schönes Townhouse in zentraler Lage von Kilkenny. Der Empfang von David war sehr herzlich. Er gab uns tolle Tipps für Frühstücks- und Dinner-Locations. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet. Auch das Bad war sehr schön mit Regendusche. Parken konnte man in unmittelbarer Nähe für 3 Euro/Tag.

Für 4 Personen mit entsprechendem Gepäck ist das Zimmer für einen längeren Aufenthalt eher eng. Für ein Übernachtung aber ausreichend.

Depending on the traveller profile and room option, stairs. And no breakfast except for minimal biscuits and coffee/tea in the room.

The location is close to the Medieval Mile, which was great. We ended up staying in the room at the very top, which was roomy with a King-sized bed & 2 twin beds. Unfortunately we over-packed, so getting our bags up and down the stairs was a bit of a chore since the stairwell is fairly narrow. On our next trip we will pack quite a bit less! There were two parking areas, and I would recommend going to the Ormonde Street parking garage. The castle is only a block or two away, and the stroll down to St. Canice's Cathedral & Round Tower was fun, since we were able to see quite a bit of the Mile that way. If you have a chance, we'd highly recommend walking over to Café La Coco for breakfast & trying their blueberry and banana pancakes with mascarpone cream. It was delicious! We were only there for one night and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed our stay.

Really comfortable stay on a quiet road with lots of windows and a fan left in the room during the hot summer days we visited. The bathroom and room is newly renovated and all in all super comfortable to stay in. Overall facilities and room extremely comfortable. Would stay again! Also the host waited for us and was very accommodating. Parking is very close to the property and very affordable safe car park.

Beautiful, immaculate well appointed room in a great location only minutes to town. Bed was extremely comfortable and the tea and coffee set up great.

Notre hôte David a été super avec nous. Il nous a donné de bonnes adresses pour nous restaurer. La chambre est très propre et le logement est parfaitement situé pour visiter la ville à pieds. Merci David pour ce séjour!

Wir waren leider nur eine Nacht dort, würden aber immer wieder hierher zurück kommen bei einem nächsten Besuch in Kilkenny. Der Gastgeber hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen und nett mit uns gesprochen. Er hat uns einige Tipps gegeben. Die Lage ist perfekt, man ist mitten im Zentrum. Das Zimmer war sehr gut ausgestattet und das Badezimmer in einem sehr noblen Zustand. Vor allem das riesige Bett hat uns gut schlafen lassen.

Es gab nichts zu bemängeln!!

Struttura composta da tre camere indipendenti,nel centro di Kilkenny. Proprietario molto cordiale. Totale indipendenza e autonomia perché non c’è una vera e propria reception. Camera di dimensioni contenute ma molto pulita, con mobilio nuovo e in ordine, dotata di bollitore e qualche bottiglietta di acqua lasciata come omaggio all’arrivo. Bagno finestrato molto comodo, con doccia piacevole. Disponibile un parcheggio pubblico a pagamento nelle vicinanze

Potrebbe tornare utile un appoggio in più per le valigie e un tappetino per uscire dalla doccia

We absolutely loved our stay at Sandbury House! Our room was absolutely beautiful as well as the bathroom - we felt like we were in a hotel room! It was spotlessly clean and David and Mary were such welcoming and friendly hosts who provided us with recommendations of places to eat, sights to see and car parking within a short walking distance.

Extremely clean, comfortable bed, great location, very quiet, attentive and kind host

Room was a little small but was overall fine. No issues whatsoever.

The loacation was ideal, the room was lovely and on of the owners david was there to meet us on check in. Both him and Mary sent us an extensive list of places to visit and parking facitities which was super helpful and really added a nice touch to the experience in general. We were also recommended a place for Breakfast by David and it turned out to be a lovely tip. Would most definitely book and stay at Sandbury towhouse again in the future!

All was great, nothing to add here. Nothing we did not like, the property ws well maintained and the room had everything we needed and the freeodm to come and go as we pleased, also was so central.

David who ran the property was lovely and so very helpful. All restaurant recommendations were excellent and the room was extremely clean.

We had a large room with 1 king-size bed and 2 single beds. Plenty of power outlets for devices, which was very convenient. The bathroom was very clean and bright. It was also nice that there was sufficient light by the mirror. The city center is very close, just a few minutes' walk away. The host gave us clear directions on where to park well nearby and nice spots in the city. Very much worth the money.

The stairs to the room are quite narrow for carrying a large suitcase. The host met us and carried it upstairs for us. There is no railing on a part of the stairs to hold onto.

Fantastic hosts, very accommodating. Heaps of useful information, including where to park. Rooms are large, property is very new, clean and well presented, centrally located adjacent to come great restaurants and cafes.

Our room overlooked the street, with windows ajar, the noise from the conversations of passer by’s was noticeable. We were there during World Cup, by 12.15am I could tell you Brazil had been defeated and who scored the goals for Norway!

The Sandbury house was a wonderful place to stay and in a great location in Kilkenny. Our host David was so very helpful and kind. He was super passionate about making sure our stay was fantastic and it truly was! Thank you so so much Sandbury house!

We had a perfect stay and would definitely recommend this accommodation to anyone visiting Kilkenny. It was excellent value for money, with a clean, comfortable room that had everything we needed, including a TV and a fan, which was a nice bonus. The location couldn’t have been better—it’s within easy walking distance of all the main attractions, shops, pubs, and restaurants. Our host was lovely, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. Another great advantage is the nearby car park, which costs just €3 per night, making it incredibly convenient if you’re travelling by car. Overall, a fantastic place to stay, and we’d happily book again!

Very comfortable bed, well-appointed bathroom, great location in the heart of Kilkenny. Our host was friendly and welcoming and shared information about area restaurants.

Even with the fan provided by our host, the second-story room was uncomfortably hot (85 F) and airless all night because Kilkenny had been unusually hot for a few days. We get that Ireland doesn't do air conditioning and that the heat dome over Europe was unusual. This is a very lovely place to stay as long as temperatures are normal.

David was an excellent host. Very helpful and gave excellent recommendations for nice Cafes and restaurants. Very clean and modern room. Gorgeous bathroom and excellent facilities.

Die Lage ist super, um Kilkenny zu Fuß zu erkunden. Öffentlicher Parkplatz 'Fair Green Car Park' ca. 5min entfernt und mit 3€/Tag sehr preiswert.

David and Mary have created a most comfortable place to stay when visiting Kilkenny. Their hospitality and the accommodations provided are superior. David's friendliness and Mary's attention to detail made our experience a delight. Suggestions for dining and sites to visit were appreciated. Being centrally located allowed us to walk to and discover so many wonderful things about Kilkenny in such a short time.
