Tongo Hill Cottages

Es ist ein sehr außergewöhnliches Erlebnis und löst auf jeden Fall den Stress! Sehr schön war es, dass man sein Frühstück auf der Terrasse vor dem Bungalow serviert bekam. Abends konnte man sich einen Roller ausleihen, um essen zu fahren in die nächste Stadt. Man hätte sich aber auch eine Rikscha bestellen können. Das Personal Service war im allgemeinen sehr zuverlässig und zuvorkommend!

Beautifully hand crafted bamboo cottages, this is my idea of luxury rather than five star hotels. Staff told us a pool will be added, even more of a reason to return!

Personale perfetto. I cottages sono attrezzati di tutto e nonostante ti trovi in meno alla natura non abbiamo avuto problemi di insetti vari. Colazioni abbondanti e gustose. Gestiscono qualsiasi tipo di necessità dal noleggio motorino al trasporto in macchina. Super consigliato.

Charmante omgeving, heel aardig personeel, schoon en prachtige badkamer. Jammer geen airco maar wel twee ventilatoren en klamboe. Goed ontbijt, ruime keus en ophaalservice ook heel goed! Kortom wij hebben het fijn gehad!

El diseño del lugar, tiene un vibe super chill, cada espacio está muuy bien pensado. Por amar y cuidar a los animales le damos un 100/10, se nota el amor y el cuidado a los animales. La casita era gigante.

Es un poco lejos de la ciudad pero nada que un tuk Tuk no pueda solucionar.

Eigenlijk alles beviel ons! Het was precies zoals we verwacht hadden, eigenlijk nog wel beter! Het huis was super schattig en mooi, precies als op de fotos. Het personeel was geweldig, ze regelen alles voor je en als je iets besteld of een vraag hebt wordt het meteen voor je geregeld en bij de deur afgeleverd! Het kan soms wat lawaaierig zijn door het jungle orkest haha, maar dat neem je daar voor lief! Jullie zijn toppers!

Tout était parfait. Le petit déjeuner excellent. L'accueil incroyable. Le logement magique. La literie excellente. Un lieu paradisiaque ! Tout le personnel adorable.

Romantic bungalows, fans made sleeping comfortable

Ons verblijf was geweldig en alles was tot in de puntjes geregeld! Het personeel is super behulpzaam en helpen je graag. De huisjes waren waanzinnig mooi en het ontbijt was heerlijk. Zeker een aanrader en zouden zeker terug komen!

In de avond/nacht heb je veel last van blaffende honden op en rond het terrein. Daar kan het personeel niks aan doen, ze bieden oordopjes aan voor het geluid :)

BEST PLACE I HAVE STAYED! Tongo Hill is a beautiful place with wonderful staff. We were so well looked after during our stay, they helped us book trips, taxis & organised a lovely s’mores campfire evening for us. A quick tuk tuk ride takes you into the Main Street of Moalboal, but it’s great to be staying in the beautiful green grounds of Tongo Hill Cottages. The cottages are beautiful, breakfast is served on your porch each morning. And the social space in the middle is brilliant too. Thanks again 🌺🌊🏝️

What an incredable place to stay, a bit from the crowded town of Moalboal, but the staff help you in the sweetest way, truly you were all incredable in every way, thank you so much for that. Wonderfull breakfast in the morning and a good restaurant walking distance, but they can also deliver it at you cottage, transport arranged every day for my diving, I really had the greatest time specially thanks to all the wonderfull girls of the staff, thank you all!

Lovely staff and beautiful property. So peaceful in nature. Despite the heat, the fans worked great and had no problems with bugs, especially with the nets provided. Every recommendation from the team was excellent. Loved the social area, very warm, inviting and comfortable, with complimentary tea and coffee, and a station to fill up water bottles. Had a movie night, set up by the staff for free with popcorn, which was also a nice way to spend one of the nights. Would absolutely recommend to anyone to stay here!

Little way out of town, but it's not a bad walk and tricycle rides are cheap.

Beautiful place, lovely common area, great breakfast on your own porch. The staff was amazing and went above & beyond.

There was a little bit of noise from nearby farm animals, but nothing ear plugs can’t fix. Also it’s a bit far from the center to walk, but a trike will get you there in a few minutes for 200 pesos

O MELHOR ALOJAMENTO EM QUE EU ESTIVE NAS FILIPINAS! Estou a viajar há quase 1 mês pelas Filipinas e este alojamento destaca-se de qualquer outro que eu tenha estado. O alojamento é lindíssimo, super limpo, confortável. E a equipa é muito querida e simpática. Os quartos são maravilhosos, mas a casa de banho consegue superar 🤩 Tenho pena por só ter ficado 2 noites, agora teria ficado pelo menos mais uma noite. O pequeno almoço também é delicioso e apesar do alojamento não ter restaurante, eles podem encomendar churrasco no restaurante próximo e comemos na varanda do quarto. Os espaços comuns também são muito lindos. O alojamento está rodeado de natureza, muito verde e muitos animais. Também há uma zona de massagens e uma fogueira ao ar livre. Um lugar de sonho! Parabéns aos donos e a toda a equipa maravilhosa! 100/10

Melhorar o Wi-Fi nos quartos, contudo na zona social o Wi-Fi funciona muito bem!

Great place and very accommodating staffs. Everything was superb.

The water pressure for shower was low and the fan is actually not enough for the morning heat.

De huisjes waren prachtig. Alles gemaakt van bamboe waardoor het erg authentiek voelde. De huisjes waren erg ruim en de buitendouche tussen de bloemen en planten maakte het af. Echt een prachtig verblijf!

The breakfast was good, fresh and on time. The rooms are nice and cozy and clean with spacious outside bathrooms. There's no ac, but the fans work well enough mostly when standing directly in front of them. Transportation from the rooms was always fast.

Wish we could have pre-paid for some of the food and other things. Also, clearing the used dishes more quickly from the table outside would have been nice. Bugs swarm them as soon as you put anything down.

Personnel aux petits soins, très beau jardin tropical. Chambre très bien entretenue et propre, la salle de bain extérieure est magnifique. Très bon petit déjeuner.

Beaucoup de bruits le matin à cause des coqs de fermes voisines, mais l’hôtel prévient les gens à l’arrivée et fournit des boules quies. Hôtel un peu excentré, à 5-10 minutes de tuktuk de la plage. Pas de piscine, mais un joli jardin avec des transats et hamacs.

Miglior posto dove alloggiare a Moalboal! Sono un Host dei B&B anch’io e capisco bene il settore. Su Booking sembrava un posto carino, però dal vivo ha superato nettamente le nostre aspettative … Cottages uno più bello dell’altro, struttura incredibile con area per massaggi (consiglio massaggi in struttura durante l’ora serale in mezzo alla natura con suono di insetti e uccelli incredibile), area social di due piani dove poter guardare film sullo schermo grande con popcorn, fare chill sulle amache, bersi caffè/te inclusi e godersi dell’area per yoga sul piano sopra. Ci sono anche gli sdrai e la doccia chi vuole rilassarsi in mezzo alla natura. Colazione a scelta tra piatti incredibilmente buoni, salutari e belli! Ci dispiace di essere stati qui solo 2 notti, sarei stata qui volentieri per due mesi 😂🙂‍↔️ Ragazze del reception super gentili e disponibili. Consiglio di prenotare cottage con la vasca da bagno, va a ruba ed è incredibile … Hanno anche i scooter a noleggio a prezzi top, comodissimo e siete vicini a Moalboal o ad altre spiaggia vicine. Consiglio vivamente questo posto per condividere la mia esperienza unica ✨

I loved everything about Tongo Hill. The communication before our arrival was so good. The place is so well kept and completely adorable. They had everything we needed and more! The breakfast was delicious and delivered at our requested time right to our cabin. The help was just amazing. We couldn't have been more pleased. The location was perfect also!

Amazing location in moalboal! A bit far from the center (30 mins walk) but so quiet and peaceful. The whole place built with bamboo, ecological. It was truly paradise and our best stay so far ! Would definitely book again! That bathroom 🤩

Cutest cottages with lovely bathroom area. They really integrated nature beautifully. Such a lovely garden. It felt luxurious and the staff was super helpfull and friendly. Breakfast was good. The matress and pillows were nice too. They can rent you a scooter on their property. Had a great massage on property too.

We thought we would have a bathtub, but they explained that was with more luxurious cottages. Also I would have liked the option to have our breakfast in the common area. But on our porch was ok too.

Best place of our entire long honeymoon! There are no words to describe the serenity and wonders of this place.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend, wahnsinning freundlich und hat sich spürbar um uns bemüht. Sie haben alles möglich gemacht egal ob es ein Ausflug war z.B. Canyoneering zu den Kawasan Falls oder uns einen Roller organisiert obwohl keine mehr zur Verfügung standen. Die Bilder können nur ansatzweise das zeigen wie es in Wirklichkeit vor Ort aussieht. Ein echtes kleines Paradies abseits des ganzen Trubels in Moalboal/Basdiot. Für die Tiergeräusche kann vor Ort niemand etwas, das lässt sich aber ohne Probleme mit Ohrstöpsel lösen.

This was my favourite accomodation i’ve stayed in as it had so many great features to it. Straight from the start the staff were lovely to us and gave us a debrief on everything we needed to know; there was lots to offer eg- activities, food, drink, transport. the common area was lovely with games and movies to entertain yourself with and there was a great view from the top. the room was very clean, mini fridge was stocked and shower/bathroom was very dreamy. anyone that likes nature needs to visit this place, i would come back 1 million times again

This is such an amazing spot, so beautiful and the staff are so incredibly nice. It is a little slice of paradise. Bonfires, massages, free tea and coffee, beautifull outside bathroom, comfortable big bed, beautiful huts: what's not to like about this place?

Das Personal war Traumhaft. Sie haben einem wirklich jeden Wunsch von den Lippen abgelesen und hatten auf alle Fragen auch Antworten. Sie organisierten alles für uns. Das Frühstück würde uns direkt an die Hütte gebracht und über WhatsApp könnte man rund um die Uhr mit jemanden von der Rezeption in Kontakt bleiben. Die Unterkünfte waren auch absolut bezaubernd und sauber. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt...

Nachts hört man ab und zu die streunenden Hunde bei ihren Revierkämpfen und eine Vielzahl von Hühnern.

Wonderful clean bungalows in a lovely setting. We stayed over christmas and the staff were so helpful and helped us book takeaways, transfers and they also had onsite scooters and snorkels we could rent which just made our stay nice and easy.

The staff was absolutely amazing! The scenery and athmosphere is also very nice. It's a great experience and that's what it's all about. A big recommendation are the Smores by the bonfire!

You do need good earplugs because you're basically sleeping in the open and there are quite a few (stray)dogs in the area as well as a lot of roosters. They all tell you that in advance and have earplugs available in case you forget them. Nothing they can do much about but it's worth mentioning. Also for People over 180cm: the bed is +-180cm long in the Deluxe bungalow so your feet will probably stick out. But that's almost everywhere in the Philippines :-).

We loved our stay at Tongo Hill Cottages. The room was clean and tidy, and the outdoor bathroom was fantastic. The staff were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us. The site has great facilities like a massage and social area, it’s also very easy to arrange transport into the local town.

amazing staff. place looked even better rhan in the pictures. amazing breakfast. all my friends and I were si happy to have chosen tongo hills. I was a bit hesitant at first because it was a bit expensive but it was worth every penny.

The hotel is peace we loved it.

Prachtig verblijf waar je écht helemaal tot rust komt. Het personeel is ontzettend vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt is heerlijk en zeer goed verzorgd. Wat meteen opvalt, is hoe mooi en schoon het huisje is alles was tot in de puntjes verzorgd. De douche is geweldig. Het terrein is prachtig aangelegd en er zijn uitstekende faciliteiten en tours beschikbaar. Daarnaast regelen ze met plezier een scooter en vervoer voor je. Ontzettend bedankt voor deze fijne ervaring!

Het ontbijt moet een dag van tevoren worden besteld, wat iets minder flexibel is. Daarnaast zouden wat extra ontbijtopties fijn zijn, zoals een tosti of sandwich, of yoghurt als alternatief voor de smoothiebowl.

Nett und Gemütlich. Sehr freundliches, hilfsbereites Personal. Selbst ein paar Tage nach unserem Aufenthalt hatten wir in der Not einen Transfer nötig, bei dessen Organisation uns ohne Zögern geholfen wurde. Ein großes Danke dafür ❤️

Viele Geräusche in der Nacht von den umliegenden Nachbarn (Kühe, Hunde, Hühner —> Ohrstöpsel/Oropax helfen. An den Geräuschen trägt die Unterkunft keine Schuld.

Lovely cottages in a more rural setting with super friendly and helpful staff - nothing was too much trouble. Communal area was great and whilst there isn’t a restaurant on site the staff can organise food to be delivered within about 30 mins. Loved our few days here and would certainly stay again.

This is an oasis just outside the busy area. You’ve got everything you need onsite. The staff can arrange a scooter for you or order food to be delivered. You have massages in house. Breakfast service was great and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Loved our stay here!

If I am picky: the towels need an update. But that’s the only thing.

Posto magnifico a contatto con la natura. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli. Il soggiorno è stato rigenerante. Possibilità di fare dei messaggi direttamente in struttura. Il personale é sempre disponibile ed efficiente, rispondendo velocemente a qualsiasi richiesta. Consigliatissimo!
