Very well located for Bournemouth airport. Good car park. Stylish, comfortable room, beautifully presented. Spotlessly clean. Really appreciated little touches like decent coffee, biscuits, fresh milk. Unfortunately couldn’t have breakfast due to an early flight. First visit. Would certainly return.

Pleasant room although slightly small for a double. Breakfast was cooked to order and very pleasant. Staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of free parking.

The breakfast was a disappointment for me as the omelette I had was obviously warmed up in a microwave & was tough, I left most of it. My husband would rate the breakfast 7 as it was supposed to be smashed avocado but his was sliced & he said it was dry. Sorry!

Conveniently situated pub with rooms. Friendly staff, decent sized rooms, spotlessly clean. Didn’t have dinner, but did have breakfast there, which was excellent, plenty of choice and freshly cooked. Welcome change from hotel chains.

The choice on the menu was substantially limited due to chef breaking foot. As we had booked to eat there as we were having a few drinks we had no choice but to order from the little there was to offer. No compensation or discount was offered

Locanda storica enorme e bellissima. Stanza comoda, letti molto ampi, bagno perfetto. Colazione super buona e consigliata!! Il vagone parcheggiato di fianco aggiunge un tocco storico ancora più bello e affascinante. Ci tornerei!

Comfortable room, breakfast was excellent. Good location for getting to the beach, etc. Friendly staff. Like the history of the place too.

The room was extremely hot and airless due to the weather. Freestanding aircon unit would be helpful. Overall well cleaned although found some fruit packaging which hadn't been cleared out.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The place contained a great deal of railwayana which was interesting and atmospheric.

Road noise was bad but cannot be helped as the bedroom windows were required to be open due to extreme heat. The quality of the full breakfast was of a lower standard than I expected, but that is a subjective thing.

Room was clean, spacious and a comfortable bed for our overnight stay. Plenty of parking and a variety of things to eat for breakfast. Staff were welcoming and friendly too.

The room was very clean and had everything you might need. The bed was very comfortable, but had constant traffic noise from the main road. We didn’t eat there in the evening because on the first night customers were being told the food had run out! The pump beers were also off because of a chiller problem and there was just one person serving at the bar and trying to serve in the restaurant.

The feel of the premises wasn’t very nice. It felt like it was struggling for business and was a pub on the brink of closure. Just doing the minimum to get by.

It was close to the wedding venue I needed to go to

De locatie en de ontvangst van een sympathieke jongen. Behulpzaam op je kamer en helpen waar je ventilator op je kamer zich bevind. In die periode was het heel warm op de kamers.

Er werd niet aangegeven dat de keuken sloo. Helaas kwam de vraag ook niet bij het afruimen of je nog een dessert wil omdat de keuken ging sluiten. In de ochtend is er veel stress bij een bezetting van 4 tafeltjes waardoor het onmogelijk was om een cappuccino te zetten.

Room was extremely small. Barely enough space for a double bed, bathroom extremely small and suffocating. No A/C. No lift. No help with luggages. Small fan. Extreme heat. Room rate not aligned with what is being offered and 'four star' hotel rating doesnt make any sense. Was told "we are a pub" when asked for lift. Room rate certainly raises expectations. Restaurant extremely expensive. 2 fish and chips and lemonade cost 50 pounds.

The building was slightly quirky with a railway theme. The rooms were clean and the staff helpful and efficient

We stayed the hottest 3 days of the year so far and there was no air-conditioning in the bedroom. Our room was airy but still very warm

Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Location was great for our family as a base for exploring around the New Forest and surrounding areas. The hotel was very quaint with a lot of historical background. We stayed in a family room which was perfect in terms of size and amenities.

Very helpful and attentive Staff, the food was great- we had both dinner and breakfast. Plenty of car parking spaces and the car park was secluded so it was safe for our classic cars. The location was great for exploring the New Forest and Beaulieu.

Nice interior decoration themed around the history of the building as a railway station. Lots of space inside and outside for drinking and dining. Good menu selection and what we had was very good. Friendly & helpful staff, clean & tidy facilities.

Before taking a table for dinner we checked when the kitchen closed. We placed our order at 8:20pm. The bar person took a sideways glance at the clock. We asked if we should order desserts at the same time ( kitchen closed at 9pm ) we assured it would be fine to order later - wrong! When we tried to order at 9:10 we were told no can do! At breakfast we requested cappuccino’s and were told no, the machine hadn’t been switched on yet🤦🏻‍♀️ Considering that the previous evening we had stayed at The Northey Arms, Box - in the same chain of pubs/hotel, the service here wasn’t a scratch on the previous evening nor was the accommodation up to the same standard

Wonderful location. We loved the small details and touches especially the fresh ground coffee and French press in the room. Very comfortable bed, extremely clean bathroom, intriguing decoration throughout and a very welcoming, informative, helpful, kind and cheerful staff. And the breakfast... absolute 5 star! Thank you ! One of our best overnight stays for a very long time !

The noise of the motorway maybe a bit much but it has not ruined our experience!And we knew it is located beside it so no complaint on that!
