La hospitalidad de la familia, nos trataron tan bien que estuvimos como en casa. Calidad precio insuperable. Toda las recomendaciones que nos dieron fueron excelentes. Los niños recordarán siempre los días que estuvimos.

This has been our favourite place to stay so far in Sri Lanka. The property facilities are great, but the family who own and run it are really special. Madara cooked the most amazing food for us - huge home cooked breakfasts, and an amazing dinner one night also. Each day she and her husband Buddhika went above and beyond to provide us with new fruits to try from their garden (or they went and bought them), and Buddihka provided us driving services at dawn twice, plus drove us all the way to Nilaveli to our next hotel. Their son was also very kind and caring to us. Each time we wanted to use the pool, they cleaned it thoroughly, and they suggested excellent restaurants we could walk to for dinner. Concerned for our safety they warned us about the risk of elephants on our return and suggested we get tuktuks home rather than walk back even though it was very close. They never upsold us, and even checked prices with another driver before quoting us very fair fares. When the power went out briefly they immediately brought out battery lights for us. We thoroughly enjoyed staying here and great appreciate their care and service in providing us with great experiences.

- Unfortunately, most of our clothes have been stained all over and are no longer wearable. We contacted the owner about the issue, but they are no longer responding to our messages and have not tried to find any solution. - The room is infested with mosquitoes and flies. We are really disappointed with the situation and would appreciate it if something could be done about it.

The hospitality was great. Really welcoming people and great breakfast.

All went well, even we arrived at night still the property owner open the pool lights and clean the water for insects.

Hosts were very welcoming. Went out of their way to accommodate us, even getting up early to take us to lion rock.

It feels like you are a part of the family! An amazing and welcoming hosts, very comfortable stay with everything you need, a great pool for the kids and peace and quiet that are very appreciated. The location is 10 min drive from the town Sigiri, but it is very easy to get there with a tuk tuk.

Nous avons passé ici les meilleurs moments de notre séjour au Sri Lanka. Un immense merci à toute la famille pour son accueil exceptionnel. Le couple qui tient ce petit hôtel est d'une grande gentillesse : toujours souriant, attentionné et d'un courage admirable. Ils ont construit cet endroit de leurs propres mains, et cela se ressent dans chaque détail. C'est une expérience unique : on profite de l'accueil d'une maison familiale avec les services d'un petit hôtel. Nous nous sommes sentis comme des invités plutôt que comme des clients. Nos filles ont passé des heures à jouer dans la piscine et à s'amuser avec les animaux. Elles auraient volontiers prolongé notre séjour ! Le petit-déjeuner était délicieux, copieux et varié, avec de nombreuses spécialités locales. Un vrai régal. Nous avons également apprécié le service de blanchisserie, très rapide et très pratique. Surtout, nos hôtes ont pris le temps de nous faire découvrir la vie locale, de nous conseiller et de partager leur quotidien avec nous. Cette expérience a été bien plus authentique et mémorable que certains hôtels de luxe où nous avons séjourné auparavant. Si nous revenons un jour dans la région de Sigiriya, nous reviendrons ici sans la moindre hésitation. Nous recommandons cet établissement à 100 %.

Het was een oase aan rust. We waren de eenigste gasten deze 2 nachten. Het gezin is heel vriendelijk en in de vroege ochtend bij de rots afgezet tegen betaling. Ook konden we hier onze was doen ( tegen 2500 roepies) wat heel fijn was na een paar dagen strand. Ook fijn zwembad en ook lekker schaduw wat fijn was met 34 graden.

De locatie was fjjn maar wel afgelegen van een stadje.

C'est la deuxième fois que nous venons dans cette guest house, toujours avec plaisir. Le tarif est très économique mais tout est fait pour que nous soyons bien accueillis. Les chambres sont propres, l'eau est chaude, l'ambiance est très conviviale. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux et frais. Les propriétaires se mettent en quatre pour vous rendre service. Nous recommandons ! This is the second time we have stayed at this guest house, and it has always been a pleasure. The price is very reasonable but everything is done to make us feel welcome. The rooms are clean, the water is hot and the atmosphere is very friendly. Breakfast is copious and fresh. The owners go out of their way to be helpful. We'd definitely recommend it!

The greenery,the amazing hospitality, the hosts are super kind and the breakfast was wonderful. The place was super clean and the rooms were spacious and very clean. We could sleep peacefully.

When we payed the bill at the hotel during checkout,we didn't match the price with BDT as per booking

Great Location, very calm and green and spacious. Best breakfast, wide collection from Sri Lankan and western breakfast habits. We went with a toddler and was very suitable wirh a little kid. Very kind host family.

A very nice stay with excellent food. We were very well taken care of. The owner is very friendly and willing to help. The rooms were clean. The corner for dinner was special to me.

Room was spacious and have 1 double bed and 1 single bed which was great as we used the single bed as extra storage area for our clothes

Nothing everything was perfect

While the facilities reflect the budget-friendly price, everything is fair and well-maintained. But the real standout? The breakfast. It’s absolutely insane—delicious, generous, and way beyond what you’d expect at this price point. You won’t leave hungry! If you value warmth, kindness, and an incredible start to your day, this hostel is a hidden gem. Just remember, it’s a budget stay, so adjust your expectations accordingly!

Beautiful surroundings and excellent service.

My hosts, Buddika and his wife, were some of the most loveliest and friendly people I’ve met on my trip to Sri Lanka. They were genuinely pleased so see me and went out of their way to show me around the area and to look after me. The standard of the accommodation is what you would expect for the price but I rather liked the peaceful and rustic surroundings that went with it. This is wild elephant country, so you have a good chance of seeing them nearby. Buddika took me out at dusk on the back of his motorbike to try and see them crossing a nearby road - that was one of his typically friendly gestures (not a paid trip for tourists!). This isn’t high-end accommodation but it is high-end Sri Lankan hospitality.
