Great location! Close to a variety of historic sites and restaurants.

Terrible internet…never worked in two days. Had staff assist but the system is not up to basic standards, let alone for a nice hotel in a major metropolitan city.

Мы останавливались в этом отеле всей семьёй и остались очень довольны! Отель очень чистый и удобно расположен — всего в пяти минутах пешком от Султанахмета. Завтрак был замечательный, а сотрудники на кухне — очень добрые, внимательные и приветливые. Отдельно хочется отметить ребят на ресепшене: они всегда были готовы помочь, решали все наши вопросы и старались сделать наше пребывание максимально комфортным. Номер был небольшим, но очень уютным. А вид из окна на мост и Босфор нам особенно понравился — это было просто прекрасно! ❤️ Большое спасибо всему персоналу за гостеприимство и заботу. Мы прекрасно провели время и обязательно вернёмся сюда снова! Однозначно рекомендуем этот отель.

Era pequeña la habitación

We visited in June with the family and had two standard rooms - 1x double room, 1x twin room. The hotel is in an unbeatable location right in the heart of Old Town Istanbul. It’s only a short walk to Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar, the Blue Mosque and all major attractions. The Sultanhment tramway is just steps away, making it very easy to reach Dolmabahçe Palace, Galata and other parts of the city. The waterfront is also within walking distance. You have a great selection of restaurants and cafes right on your doorstep. Breakfast is simple and traditional, with beautiful views of the old town, Bosphorous River, over to Galata, from the restaurant. The rooftop bar is a highlight — amazing atmosphere and stunning views. Rooms were on the smaller side (not unusual for Istanbul though) the main thing though was that they were clean and in reasonably good condition. A special mention to Gokhan, who provided outstanding service throughout our stay. His recommendations and assistance made our visit to Istanbul even more complete. Overall, a great little property to rest our heads at the end of a busy day sightseeing, excellent location, great views and fantastic hospitality. We would absolutely stay again.

I really dont know that there is anything - If I am being super picky I would say the room size and bathroom size and the very small elevator. But in saying that the room size is consistent with most hotels in Istanbul old town and other properties across Europe

ロケーションは抜群です。地下宮殿まで歩いて４〜５分。他にアヤソフィア、ブルーモスク、トプカプ宮殿、グランバザールまで徒歩１０分以内です。部屋はコーナーのデラックスルーム　シービュー5階で部屋からボスポラス海峡やガラタポートが良く見えました。もっとも朝食の後、屋上へ出ればボスポラス海峡だけでなく、アヤソフィア、ブルーモスク、遠くにスレイマニエモスクやガラタ塔が一望できますので、普通の部屋をとっても満足できると思います。広さ的にはベッドはキングで十分広いし、90Lくらいのスーツケースを2個広げられるくらいのスペースはあります。食事は朝食、カフェ、ディナーと一通り頂きましたが、美味しいです。ただ前の滞在先のジョージアからの移動だったので市販品のチーズがイマイチに感じましたが、日本のプロセスチーズよりは遥かに美味しいです。部屋は清潔ですし、トイレ、シャワーとも水量も水圧も十分で快適でした。スタッフはフロント、ベルボーイともにとても親切です。帰着の空港までのリムジンの手配など本当に助けてもらいました。コンプリメンタリーはミネラルウォーターとコーヒー、紅茶。時々、コンプリメンタリーの補充忘れがあったのはご愛嬌です。言うとすぐに手配してくれました。設備面では洗面所に小物を置くところがあったらいいなと思いました。

他の方も書いていましたが、あえて言うとタクシーが多く通過し、このホテルの先は歩行者専用道路なので、その乗り降りで渋滞する場所なのでクラクションが夜間でもうるさいですし、隣が消防署なので出動の時のサイレンも気になりました。 設備ではベッド右側のライトが壊れていて点かなかったです。この防音とライトで3点にしました。

Emplacement, parfait, pas loin du tramway et des sites à visiter. Le matelas est parfaitement confortable. Tout était parfait. Le petit déjeuner européen ça fait du bien.

Le seul petit point négatif, c’est au petit déjeuner qu’on vous débarrasse rapidement vos couverts, alors que vous avez pas fini de déjeuner

A small hotel near the main sights: the Blue mosque and Hagia Sofia mosque. Comfortable for walking around as it is flat. Friendly staff.

Breakfast was disappointing, if I am honest. The roof terrace was nice but a lot of hotels around have one.

Good location relative to the sightseeings in the old city

intermittent absence of hot water, tiny room size which one could only compare to hotels in Manhattan, bad noise insulation, chaotic or missing room service schedules, no USB chargers, Internet access that filters access to VPN preventing us from being able to work.

Rooftop restaurant was fantastic with wonderful food and views of the entire city include amazing views of the Blue Mosque and Hagia Sofia. Location very central to all the sites and the tram. Staff was incredibly kind and helpful.

The only minor thing was that while we had the deluxe room with a queen bed, it was simply two beds pushed together with an uncomfortable gap in between. The beds themselves were comfortable.

This fine hotel is situated quite close to the major sightseeing spots in the old part of Istanbul. It was very clean and had many amenities. One great feature is its rooftop restaurant having a broad menu and delicious food and service, and wonderful nighttime views. One of the highlights of the hotel is its very courteous staff, including the front desk managers Gokhan and Ilhan who did everything to make our visit comfortable. Despite being in the center of activity, the hotel was quite quiet at night. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.

Puedes ir caminando a todos los sitios de interés turístico. La zona se siente muy segura y su desayuno buffet era muy bueno!

Es un edificio en el cual han optimizado el espacio, así que en la distribución de los espacios todo resulta bien apretado. La habitación era pequeña pero muy cómoda y con todo lo necesario.

The accommodation was very comfortable — the rooms had decent soundproofing and a nice room setup, and the breakfasts were delicious. But most importantly was the staff: they were very polite and always tried to help, giving advice whenever we needed services that weren't available at the hotel.

Rooms and bathrooms are small. Breakfast offers very little. Not many options. I expected the views to be better especially at breakfast but breakfast is only served in the indoor room with the blinds down due to the sun.

The Adamar is in an amazing location, 5 minute walk from the Blue Mosque, with an incredible rooftop terrace providing panoramic 360 views of old Istanbul and the water on 3 three sides. The staff are just wonderful, so happy to go above and beyond to make guests happy

I checked out approximately two hours after arrival due to the condition of the room being completely unacceptable for a property advertised as 4 stars. The shower was non-functional – the head was broken at the connecting pipe, causing water to leak from the joint rather than flow properly. When I reported this to the manager, they said they were unaware of the problem, which means the room had not been inspected before my check-in. The walls were dirty with visible scuff marks. The furniture was heavily worn, tarnished, and of very low quality. The room itself was small and everything in it felt cheap – in reality this is a 3-star property at best, and a poorly maintained one at that. The sound insulation was so poor that not only could I hear every conversation and movement in the hallway, but basic bathroom sounds from my room were equally audible to people outside – there was zero privacy. The photos on the listing do not reflect the actual condition of the rooms. I requested a full refund and would strongly caution anyone considering this hotel to look elsewhere.

The area is a bit noisy, but it is kind of expected as it is the touristic part of the city (not the hotel's fault).

La posizione è davvero eccezionale: Santa Sofia e la Moschea Blu sono a pochi passi, mentre la Cisterna Basilica si trova praticamente dietro l’angolo. Nelle immediate vicinanze c’è anche la fermata del tram T1, comodissima per andare dalla parte asiatica della città. Abbiamo apprezzato molto la possibilità di utilizzare semplicemente la carta contactless per i trasporti pubblici, senza dover acquistare biglietti ogni volta. La vista dalla terrazza è spettacolare e merita da sola una visita. Inoltre, il caffè turco servito dall’hotel è stato uno dei migliori che abbiamo assaggiato durante il nostro soggiorno a Istanbul. L’unico aspetto che ci ha lasciato un po’ delusi è stata la colazione. Avevamo letto molte recensioni entusiastiche e probabilmente le nostre aspettative erano molto alte. Personalmente preferisco una colazione dolce e sapevo già che avrei trovato una scelta più orientata al salato, quindi ero preparata ad adattarmi. Anche mio marito, che invece ama la colazione salata, non l’ha trovata particolarmente memorabile. Molte proposte ci sono sembrate piuttosto “pesanti” per l’inizio della giornata. Naturalmente si tratta di gusti personali e ciò che non ha convinto noi potrebbe piacere ad altri. A parte questo, il soggiorno è stato davvero piacevole. Il personale è sempre stato gentile, disponibile e pronto ad aiutare per qualsiasi necessità. Consigliamo sicuramente questa struttura a chi desidera visitare Istanbul soggiornando nel cuore della città storica.

Hotel aconsejable para visitar el centro histórico de Estambul, el desayuno nada aconsejable. En los alrededores se dispone de restauración abundante. El personal amable i dispuesto a solucionar tus problemas. Es un hotel para dormir, si el tiempo lo permite ver la puesta del sol i las vistas tomando algo 100x100 aconsejable.

We had such a comfortable stay here made possible by the incredible staff. We got 2 rooms for the 4 of us, one of which was upgraded because it happened to be available, and the rooms were ready for us upon arrival, even though we had arrived well before check-in time. The staff took their time to explain the area to us and made sure we were comfortable. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room is restocked with water and fresh towels on a daily basis. Breakfast spread was superb and the breakfast room is gorgeous with a view of the Hagia Sofia and the Blue Mosque, both of which are less than a 10 minute walk away from the hotel, as well as the Sultanahmet tram stop. Reading some other reviews before our stay, I was worried the traffic noise would keep us up at night but there’s almost no traffic noise at night. The adhaan can be heard from the rooms which was lovely (and not too loud either). I would stay here every time I visit Istanbul.

The bathrooms are a tight squeeze but manageable.

Front desk staff were great - friendly and extremely helpful. Lady at breakfast wasn't too friendly. Also when asked for 2 servings of eggs for breakfast, got one (admittedly I don't speak Turkish). Next day asked for fried eggs and got omelette - when querying the order that came, we were told "only omelette today!" We declined politely. Location was excellent, walking distance to attractions. View from breakfast was amazing; unfortunately had been raining, so no access to rooftop.

Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación esta en el centro de la ciudad vieja de Estambul , cerca de Cisterna, Santa Sofia y Mezquita Azul muy cerca de parada de Tranvia, y a 10 min de Gran Bazar, las habitaciones son amplias

La habitación que nos dieron aunque era amplia tenía muy malas vistas a un patio interior donde estaban ubicadas las máquinas de aire acondicionado, Cenamos en el restaurante, la comida y la atención del personal muy bien, pero mejor no pedir cocteles no saben hacerlos...

La posizione dell'albergo è fantastica vicinissima alla moschea blu , santa Sofia e basilica cisterna. Lo staff gentilissimo e molto disponibile, la stanza molto grande, letto comodissimo, camera pulita, servizio ogni giorno delle bottigliette d'acqua molto apprezzato.

Las vistas desde el restaurante son soberbias, Santa Sofía y la mezquita azul a tiro de piedra. Es muy céntrico, muy bien ubicado, con restaurantes, comercios y transporte público muy cercanos.

El baño es suficiente, aunque un poco pequeño y con un escalón en la entrada en el que tropezamos varias veces.

Good variety on offer for breakfast although some a little random ! All staff on reception very friendly and incredibly helpful ,all speak perfect English.

Lift - tiny ,and often in use by staff . Initially had a delux room with sea view ,but had to move as the female who works in the restaurant 1 floor above continually scrapes the chairs across the floor,dragging them from one table to another . Impossible to sleep, they started preparing for breakfast from about 6 am , china clanking and talking . Reception thankfully moved us to a comparable room without a view ,which was so much better !
