Convenient location clean and well equipped

The staff is incredibly responsive. I have arrived extremely late due to issues with my flight and they still waited for my arrival and helped me check in the most professional manner.

- لم يعجبني لاتوجد ستائر متينه تحجب عن ضوء الشمس في النهار . وكنا في شهر أغسطس 12 -13 في أشد الحر . تعذبنا من شدة الحراره . - لايوجد تكييف للشقه كلها . فقط لغرفه واحده وخرطومه لابد من إخراجه للبلكونه ممايبقى الباب مفتوحا . - بالرغم من أن الشقه مجهزه بالكامل الا أن بعض منها متهالكه مثل باب الدولاب مخلوع لم يتم إصلاحه. وسجاد الصاله مدهوك . - مروش الحمام عالي جدا ولا يوجد مروش متحرك مما يصعب الاستحمام براحه . بالرغم من هذه العيوب الا انني أحببت المكان

Instructions to get key were terrible. No one there. Phone the number from booking.com, no one answered. Dropped message to booking.com, only get the reply the next morning. Also overcharged me another gbp40 for checking in after 8.30p! I finally get reply on 8.35p. It is a terrible requirement for checking in before 8.30p for international passengers where flight can delay and get stucked on the road when there was a tube strike. All the above does not make sense to me. It is just ridiculous.

Todo limpio y ordenado. Zona fantástica, cerca de metro, tren, teleférico, supermercado justo debajo . Zona para comer y tomar copas. Zona muy segura. Recomendable al 100%. Pudimos dejar las maletas al llegar más temprano del chekin y a la salida pudimos hacer lo mismo. Nos encantó la atención!

The shower in the master bedroom was very difficult to control the temperature and could have easily scalded someone. The shower in the main bathroom had no shower head holder. We couldn’t use the balcony as the door was broken.

Great location and easily accessible with public transport and car. The place was exactly as described and a lot of things to visit at your doorstep, on top of that the check was very easy and staff very welcoming

Excellent Stay

I had a fantastic stay. The apartment was clean, modern and very comfortable with everything needed for a great stay. The location was convenient and well connected to train stations also the check in process was smooth. The team was responsive and professional. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it.

The location was great, the apartment was ok but it needs to have a update, one of the balcony doors did not close tidy resulting in wind noise, carpets need renewing along with one or two other furnishings, the beds were great, apartment nice and warm, shower superb and lots of other good things, I would stay again but if it did not have the upgrades I would expect a lower price.

At check-in, I was informed that they needed to charge my card a £300 reservation amount, on top of the fee which I had already paid in full in advance. This may have been mentioned in the booking confirmation, so it wasn’t a major issue at the time. However, I was told that it was my responsibility to contact customer service five days after check-out to request the return of this amount. This struck me as quite unusual—why should this be my responsibility as a customer rather than handled automatically? After a full day of travel and with work commitments ahead, it wasn’t something I had the energy to question further at that moment. The real issue is what happened afterward. I have contacted the landlord multiple times to request the return of the money, as promised, but without success. This has been both time-consuming and frustrating, and nearly two weeks after check-out, I am still waiting for my money to be returned. Overall, this feels like a questionable and unprofessional way of handling payments.

The flat was spacious and easily accessible, manager is responsive and friendly

They spring a huge credit card charge on you when you check in as a security hold in case of damages. I left over 3 weeks ago and still have not received my refund. I didn't get much sleep at all while there. The bedrooms only have blinds with lots of gaps so the bedrooms don't ever get dark, even at night. Blinds are broken / damaged too. I'm not sure why they have blinds that they keep having to repair or replace instead of curtains. The flat was also a bit dirty (carpet and around the furniture in the bedrooms). The surfaces get cleaned, and the beds got changed and we're clean, but it seemed to me that only the kitchen and bathrooms are cleaned regularly.

Poorly maintained property. The heating wasn’t switched on when I arrived and I couldn’t get hold of the property manager at 0730hr to help with this. Bedding (duvets and pillows) were not clean. Wouldn’t recommend staying here

Once the booking was made, I got a message informing me that they do not tolerate noise or party in their facilities which I found really good as we also wanted a very quiet stay which was exactly what we had. The check in process was very smooth as well as I followed their instructions on contacting the house manager 30 mins before arrival and he was present waiting for us. The apartment itself was very clean and beautifully presented. The location was exceptional as it was mins away from the train station and there were many restaurants nearby both for fine dining and takeaways.. ExCeL Exhibition was a few mins walk as well and most importantly there was a grocery store just in the same building. Everything about my stay was great and I highly recommend this brand.

We had a wonderful stay at Austin David Apartments ExCeL. The apartment is spotlessly clean, modern, and incredibly spacious, with beautiful views over the Royal Victoria Dock. Just a short walk to the ExCeL Centre, yet peaceful and relaxing. Everything was perfect comfortable beds, well-equipped kitchen, fast WiFi, and excellent service from the team. Highly recommended! We’ll definitely be back. Thank you!

Beautiful location.. perfect for everyone both family and couples. Easy access to central London… various restaurants around. The house manager was really helpful and the reservation manager was hands on.. Overall an amazing experience definitely will recommend to my friends, will return very soon!!!!

The location is convenient for ExCeL and transport links. We were eventually moved to alternative accommodation on the second night, which was an improvement.

The original apartment was in very poor condition and did not match the listing. Cleanliness was unacceptable, with stained bedding and carpets. Furniture and fixtures were damaged and heavily worn. There were safety concerns, including a loose door handle and poorly fitted hardware. Basic facilities did not work properly, including lighting and sockets. There were no proper curtains, only blinds with gaps, which meant no privacy and no ability to sleep due to light. We raised these issues immediately, supported by photos, and spent the first night with no sleep. We were moved on the second night, but the start of the trip had already been significantly disrupted, especially as we were attending a children’s event. This fell well below a reasonable standard for the price paid.

first we had een time for getting the keys. we waited with 3 little children moren than 1 hour in front of the building, because they were cleaning. The appartment was not wat we expected. I made a deposit of 300 pounds . Now 2 moths later , they dont pay my deposit back! i need my money!!!!

It was clean, comfortable and the manager that met us was really helpful. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Great communication!

Was dissapointed as it stated we had a coffee machine. However we was told not to use it as our manager didn't know how to use it, therefore could not show us. It stated with the facilities that there was a hairdryer but wasn't. However this was rectified once I sent a message to the manager. He popped over immediately with one.

Found the pre-check in experience a little stressful, £300.security deposit required and then a waiver asking us to agree to up to £6k being charged to us for any damages... I understand this may be due to bad guests in the past but a bit off putting!! The pictures are a little misleading, nowhere near as nice and you don't get a view of the river (one of the reasons we booked). Facilities are ok but a little rough around the edges.e.g. cracked loo seat, shower temperamental. Not awful but not quite what we were expecting!

The property was near the venue we attended during the weekend.

The staff promised us four blankets for all four of us before the stay, but despite their promises and us paying the price for four people, they only provided us with the necessities for two. We had two towels to share between all four of us, which resulted in us having to search for and buy new towels to be able to stay there the first night. On top of this, there was an extra duvet in their wardrobe, which we ended up using only to realize it was beyond dirty. While the rooms itself were spacious, the pillows were rock hard and the walls were so thin that you could hear every move from the hallway at any given time. The communication with the staff was a lot of empty promises, them promising to fix our needs everyday only to do nothing. I wouldn’t recommend this place for its price to anybody.

We recently stayed at Austin David Apartments during a work trip to London, as nearby hotels were unusually expensive due to last-minute booking. The location was excellent – just a couple of minutes’ walk from ExCeL, with a beautiful balcony view overlooking Canary Wharf. The apartment itself was a good size, and on first impression, it had potential. Unfortunately, the overall experience left a lot to be desired.

Booking and Check-in: The booking process was confusing from the start, as the photos online appeared to be from several different apartments, making it unclear exactly which one we were reserving. On arrival, check-in was disorganized. There is no reception or signage (the flats are inside a residential building), and despite phoning ahead as instructed, we struggled to get hold of anyone. We ended up waiting outside in the cold and dark for 30–40 minutes before being led by someone to collect the keys. This did not feel professional or reassuring. Additionally, only 24 hours before arrival we were informed that we would need to pay a £300 deposit, something that should have been made clear at the time of booking. Cleanliness and Comfort: The apartment was large but cleanliness was very poor. Bedding was stained, with ripped pillowcases and discoloured pillows. The skirting boards and walls were dirty, towel rails were dusty and covered in paint, shower curtain covered in mould and the flat generally felt like it hadn’t been properly cleaned between guests. Although the apartment smelled fresh, there were so many air fresheners that it felt more like masking than actual cleanliness. We also came across personal belongings left behind, ornaments, dolls in cupboards, someone’s chemistry notes, spare buttons, and even a random ring, which gave the impression the property wasn’t being professionally managed. Other Concerns: The chain lock on the main door was loose, which made us feel unsafe, and overall, the flat felt more like a lived-in space than a serviced apartment. Positives: Excellent location near ExCeL (2-minute walk). Spacious apartment with a stunning balcony view over Canary Wharf. Negatives: Poor and confusing check-in process. Lack of transparency about deposit. Apartment not properly cleaned (stained bedding, dusty fittings, leftover personal belongings). Questionable security with loose chain lock. Overall unprofessional management.

The service during my stay was extremely disappointing and should be taken seriously by management. The late check-in fee written in the booking clearly states £40 before midnight and £50 after midnight, yet we were charged £60, completely ignoring their own policy. The £300 deposit was also handled with no transparency: at check-in we were told it would be refunded immediately at checkout, but at checkout we were suddenly told to contact them two days later and provide our bank details and IBAN, something never mentioned before. The staff member who came to check us out was pushy, extra arrogant, and disrespectful, and his behaviour should absolutely be considered. He even asked where we were from in a way that felt clearly discriminatory, as if he was categorising us based on our origins instead of treating us like guests. No one should be spoken to like that. Another important point: don’t be misled by the high ratings — the company offers £50 for positive reviews, which explains a lot. I left the apartment in perfect condition and have proof of it. The apartment itself was great — clean and exactly as advertised — but the service, the lack of transparency, and the discriminatory attitude made the experience unacceptable.

We had booked for 3 adults, it was quickly apparent that the sofa bed was really only meant for a child, the bedding was handed to us after arrived, and was incomplete, we had to search all the cupboards for a duvet (the duvet cover was FAR too big), a pillow and a pillowcase as these were not provided or pointed out. The cutlery was bare minimum, three forks, knifes and a couple more spoons. We initially thought we had no mugs or glasses, but on exploration we found stuff in the dishwasher. The meet and greet was …. Odd…. We met outside one address and then had to follow a lovely chap to the far end of the building. We were cross questioned on several occasions on the purpose of our visit, which again felt uncomfortable. The main bed was exceptionally hard

Sehr gebrauchter Zustand und nicht sehr sauber. Kopfpolster an nach gebraucht gerochen. Habe dann das Handtuch draufgelegt damit ich schlafen konnte.

WLAN ist nach ein paar Tagen ausgefallen. Großer Vorteil für mich, dass ein Gym im Komplex vorhanden war. Schlüsselübergabe bei Ankunft und Abreise war perfekt - das passt

Das Apartment ist mittlerweile in "die Jahre" gekommen. Das sieht man and der Ausstattung im Bad und vor allem am Teppichboden. Leider hatte das Schlafzimmer selbst kein Fenster.

Blinds could not be closed properly, both in livingroom and bedroom so the opposite building could look into both rooms… No luggage storage prior to check-in or after check-out. Bed was not comfy at all, matras felt like sleeping on wood board… No housekeeping/change of towels for the full stay… even had to buy toiletpaper myself…

The apartment was not ready or clean for us. Check in was at 3 but never got into the apartment until 5:30. Booking was not clear about check in . It was like you were on your own. Felt uncomfortable especially traveling for the first time to London

It was like you were on your own need better management. We checked somewhere else and latter had to get our suitcase and carry them to a different location on our own . Very annoying

The location was okay. We did not stay at the original address that was provided.

The "twin bed" was a roll-out bed, and the mattress protector had a blood stain. The shower had mold and just overall didn't feel the cleanest.

Perfect location next to Excel, where I was attending an event, and to tube station. Equipped with everything necessary and even two TVs. Balcony protected from wind mostly where smoking was permitted. Spacey.

Not everything fully functional (bedroom door not closeable due to missing handle, water in kitchen sink drained extremely slowly), dishes weren't all clean upon arrival, balcony chairs rusty to the point of worrying one could hurt oneself on them. It is loud during the day due to close-by city airport, but we didn't mind because we were mostly out during the day and it was quiet enough (no planes) at night.

It was very dirty, black mould in the kitchen, bathroom and washing machine. The place was not clean

Location excellent. Literally 5 minute walk to excel. O2 cable cars directly opposite. Staff helpful. Got us an extra fan. . Clean and had most facilities needed. Parking was available for extra cost. . House manager very helpful. Close to lots of restaurants & Tesco extra.

Toilet holder falling off wall and kitchen sink unstable. Very hot but fan provided and extra one brought on request. Would be nice if couple fold up chairs provided to sit outside as small balcony area. Nothing provided to cook in oven. So some oven dishes would be good for future.

Apartment was clean, tidy, linen fresh and in the heatwave they had provided fans for every room which was greatly appreciated. House manager was very attentive, bringing extra items we needed on request and making sure we had the spare bed we'd required - we'd booked something with a futon and there wasn't one in this property so he brought a single fold up bed which worked fine.

Could have more cups, glasses and basics - we didn't have enough for all of us. I didn't have instructions on how to use coffee machine. Fridge/freezer was flooding which I notified the house manager of and he brought kitchen roll for us to mop it up.
