Blenheim Palace Lodge Retreat

Location for Palace and Woodstock. We took bikes so it was safe to leave by accommodation.

No welcome pack provided. No tea, coffee, milk, biscuits, it would have been a nice touch. TV channels very limited.

A modern and very comfortable lodge, equipped with everything you need for a relaxing stay. The location is excellent, with Blenheim Palace within easy walking distance, which made our visit even more convenient. We had a fantastic experience and really enjoyed our stay. A great base for exploring Blenheim Palace and the surrounding area.

Excellent location to travel to Oxford and Cotswolds. It was very clean and well equipped. Didn’t feel crowded and noisy like many lodge retreats can be. Walking distance to Blenheim palace which is an absolute treat!!

They don’t supply replacement loo rolls so best to be stocked and bring a couple from home to avoid a trip to the supermarket.

Great location and unique lodge, stayed in lodge 13 which was styled during the Alan Carr interior design masters series 5.

The lodge was filthy our socks each night were thick black and stuck to the floors, black hairs through out the lodge, fixtures and fittings were hanging off the walls and any repair work was clearly done quickly and not finished. We kept having the clean the surface’s, slept on top of the sheets both nights as we felt dirty being in that lodge not ideal when you have a 2 year old that wants to put their hands every where. I gave the company multiple chances to rectify this but still no word.

Beautiful setting with cabins positioned for maximum privacy. Although many cabins were being used, it was tranquil. Easy walk into Woodstock. The cabins were very cleaned and easy to be in. Well thought out design with everything we required.

There was nothing I didn't like.

Location and the setting of the whole site.

Only two bathrooms for a 6 person Lodge. No Mop or Hoover either.

Lovely location with 20 minute walking access to Blenheim Palace and Woodstock. Comfortable bed, large bathroom with lovely fluffy white towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. Enough toilet paper, dishwasher, washing-up liquid, tea towel and dishcloth also provided. Plenty of space for Fridge/freezer items and large TV. Quiet and peaceful.

Quality of corkscrew was poor and broke in the middle of trying to open a bottle (causing some panic lol). No small paring knife. A couple of cushions on the sofa would have been useful as although the sofa was lovely it was too deep for average size legs (we ended up using pillows from the bedroom).

Third time we have stayed as a group of four ladies , reception staff lovely and very helpful, great location . In general a great place to stay.

The garden areas on the park need a good weeding, the patio windows and door exteriors need a good clean due to a build up of cobwebs and leaves, two toilet rolls for four people not enough,

The location was ideal for us as we wanted to visit Blenheim palace and walks around the area, walking into the small town of Woodstock is just a stone throw away from Blenheim palace.bus stop is just a matter or 5/10 minute walk away to Oxford city centre or any other places to might want to go.

Location was superb! Surprisingly quiet, lovely views and only a short walk into Blenheim Palace. Twenty minutes on foot to the centre of Woodstock, and a few miles' drive to P&R for visiting Oxford. Staff were polite and friendly; a special 'thank you' to Karen for her help. We felt genuinely welcome. Property was super clean with no superfluous clutter, and well equipped with good quality furnishings, linen and kitchenware, proper coat hangers, private outside seating area with comfortable chairs. All the better for NOT having: bed runners, dozens of cushions on the beds, other people's leftover food or toiletries, scent diffusers, artificial flowers. Thank you.

Only one minor irritant: tiny, impractical cereal bowls.

It was a well situated lodge for us and good facilities. Nice private outside area to relax in. Had a nice feel to the lodge . The heating and hot water was excellent.

The sofa was not the most comfortable. Outside area for a luxury lodge could have been kept up together better.

The location is wonderful. The staff were really helpful and friendly. The kitchen is well equipped with crockery, utensils, pans, etc. It was spacious and clean and bright, with lovely places to sit outside, too. We had several meals outside.

Some salt, pepper, olive oil and handsoap in the kitchen would make the excellent kitchen even better :). And perhaps 1 piece of dishwasher powder per day (instead of 1 total).

Location was great. facilities were superb.

The property was excellent, well maintained with all modern equipment Clean and warm, the hosts were lovely and welcoming The location was perfect for the palace visit.

Beautiful location and the lodges are lovely on a whole.

The lodge was dirty, we had booked the pet lodge as we took our dogs, this lodge costs more because of taking the dogs, but was very dirty, dust, dog hair everywhere, our dogs don’t shed their hair, but also the showers weren’t cleaned properly. It wasn’t the cheapest place to stay and in such a lovely location I expected better. So was disappointing.

The facilities are designed for families and holidays I feel really comfortable staying in!

The heating system is kind of tricky and the reception doesn’t work on weekends.

We loved the location — it’s perfectly situated and made our stay even more enjoyable. The lodges are spacious, well laid out, well equipped and thoughtfully designed, making them feel comfortable and relaxing from the moment we arrived. It was nice to have our own private outdoor space, which would have been great in better weather to enjoy the surroundings. We would definitely recommend and would happily return!

As we stayed in February, we spent more time indoors during the evenings, so a few small things became more noticeable. Some simple instructions for using the Smart TV would have been helpful. We also found the lighting a little harsh and felt that some softer lighting options would make the space even cosier. There were a couple of minor housekeeping oversights — two empty vape liquid bottles had been left behind the radiator in one of the bathrooms, and there were sweet wrappers down the side of the bed that hadn’t been hoovered up. These were small issues but worth mentioning. Overall, we had a lovely stay.

Nothing as everything was very nice. Only thought maybe some salt and pepper in the lodge would be nice.

Lovely retreat. Lodges are modern and stylish. EV charge point for each unit. Parking right by your lodge with others for visitors. Reception is a welcoming space with great staff. Lodge was nicely warmed and cosy when we arrived. Plenty of hot water for 5 guests. There was private garden furniture too but wrong time of year for that.

TVs only had limited channels so couldn't keep kids occupied while we made meals. Could have done with more than 1 dishwasher tablet as there are no shops nearby. But other than that it had all we needed.

Minor niggle... TV was full of useless channels and dificult to find popular channels. We would have liked to turn off the outside porch light.

Loved the whole experience. The little lodge was excellent. The bed was comfortable, the heating effective and everything inside the space was excellent quality.

The lodge was comfortable, clean and had all the accessories any family would require. The location was quiet, perfect!

There was nothing to complain about.

It needed a deep clean. There were stains of coffee in the blinds, the shower had seen better days too.

It was clean and warm. The layout of the lodge was spacious and practical. A nice size shower room and the shower had great pressure. The accommodation felt secure and safe

Not keen on the full length window in the bedroom but with a blind and curtains it was still very private.

De douches waren heerlijk en de keuken was mooi groot. Fijne banken.

Op het park zelf zijn eigenlijk geen faciliteiten. Dat weet je vantevoren, maar het is toch jammer.

Additional pillows needed, as those provided were too soft. Sofa not very comfortable - would have been improved if cushions had been provided.

Immaculate and had everything possible that you needed

Very comfy lodge with electric car charger outside the house. House facilities are excellent. 2 rooms with 2 private toilets are perfect for family trip.

The kitchen towel is not absorbent.

Beautiful location and quiet. The lodge itself we stayed was clean and all the kitchen utensils are complete. Staff are very friendly and helpful too.

Only one thing is it was summer time and weather was really hot that day. The room was too hot even we opened the windows. It would be nice that there’s a standing fan just to cool down the room specially at night.

The road noise from the adjacent A44 - perhaps this was magnified because the hot weather meant the windows needed to be open for ventilation

It was exceptionally comfortable and had everything we could need.

The fridge doors were hinged on the wrong side. This could easily be rectified as fridge door hinges can be changed left to right.

A lovely clean, light and airy lodge … the position is tucked away next to the Palace estate . The staff were very friendly and we thoroughly enjoyed enjoyed our stay ( the weather wasn’t great but we were very cosy inside !)
