The staff were the absolute best staff we’ve ever encountered in Bali

No where to sit around the pool, only a few loungers that were taken up early in the morning

I like the friendly staff and family feel of this hotel.

This is our third stay, location, room size, cleanliness, beautiful helpful staff

More seating by the pool, even extra padded cushions to go on the timber seating by the pool, for laying or sitting. Off peak too expensive. Should give discounts to people who regularly stay.

Location is great close to everything we do in Legian. Staff are absolutely wonderful. Beautiful little hotel.

There is only one thing we would change and that is there are more sun lounges needed around the pool

It was very clean and the staff were incredibly friendly. The location was great and walking distance to great shops and amazing warungs.

The kitchen was very slow and everything seemed to take a long time even something as simple as cutting fruit.

The location was fantastic very central. The staff were very friendly, helpful and caring. On the the day we were travelling out I was presented with a brownie with a lit candle. This was at six o'clock in the morning and a wonderful way to start my birthday.

Lovely and helpful staff welcomed us to the Mahata and were terrific throughout our stay. Our room (suite) was large and comfortable, and the room and grounds were spotlessly clean and well maintained with a lovely pool. We appreciated the free water, juice and snacks in our room. Nice and quiet stay and good value overall.

The location was a bit hectic for us overall even though the hotel itself was nice and quiet. Didn’t try the restaurant but it looked very nice - would love to see more vegetarian options on the dinner menu.

This is really a nice hotel in Kuta. We chose to stay close to the airport on departure day and The Mahata seemed to be a right option. It did not disappoint. We stayed in 2 double rooms and even if they are not too big, they are perfectly adequate for a short stay. Everything was clean and well taken care of. Water, juices and snacks provided for free. The staff at this hotel was exceptionally kind and willing to help. We had to leave earlier in the morning and we were offered to have breakfast in the restaurant before the official opening, which was a nice gesture. The food was really good. I'd definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who wants to stay to Legian area.

The Mahata is always an awesome place to stay as it's a boutique hotel that's only small, perfectly located near to everything, the rooms are spacious, super clean and the beds/linen & pillows are super comfy. The staff just top off the experience.

Hôtel bien placé, proche de la plage, dans une rue un peu en retrait plutôt calme. Les chambres sont modernes et confortables, la piscine est agréable et le petit déjeuner varié et de qualité. Le personnel est aux petits soins, sympathique et bienveillant.

It is well located with many food and drink options within 5 minutes. A small, casual boutique style hotel that is very well maintained. The staff are very helpful and professional.

Very little. The pool area is comfortable but as it’s quite compact and there are only 6 pool lounges making it very difficult to get one in the morning. A some guests had items on lounges even when not by the pool including being at breakfast for over an hour.

Pool was a bit cool

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk. Als je een goede kamer hebt dan is het prima.

We hadden een kamer gekregen die rook naar vocht. Toen we dit aangaven kregen we een nieuwe kamer. Deze kamer rook beter, maar had ook last van vocht. Dit was echter wel uit te houden. Het zwembad is klein naar prima. Er waren alleen heel weinig ligbedjes.

Due to location it can be very noisy

Location was wonderful. It was clean, the beds were very comfortable. The staff were absolutely incredible. The food was also very reasonably priced and delicious.

Could hear the traffic slightly from room but it’s to be expected around Legian. Maybe put a lid on bin in bathroom These things would not deter me from coming back again.

Ground floor room had lots of ants and bugs, was quite surprised. Room didn't get cleaned when asked at reception, had to ask again.

Location is amazing! The staff are the best we’ve encountered in Bali so far. Special mention to Bagus out the front for just being a lovely guy!

Was a little noisy at times late at night and our aircon sounded like it was trying to take off at times. Not a massive bother though. Extra points though cos they did provide ear plugs.

Like a lot at the Mahata staff are always beautiful and polite.

Love this hotel. The beds the linen, pillows and the size of the room. Very relaxed environment. Highly recommend if looking for a boutique hotel.

There is no lift but the staff help carry your luggage.

Beautiful decor and style that looks just like the photos. Not a huge hotel which gives it a boutique feel. Situated in a quiet lane just off melasti st...great location. Staff were super attentive and friendly. Hate to share the secret as I might not get in next time.

All staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and tastefully decorated with a hot shower and comfy bed. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. I very much appreciated that this hotel attracted people who prefer quiet and respectful environments, as this gave me some quiet time away from the crowds and 'party' scene. Given the small size and direct access to the pool from rooms, I would not recommend this for families with children.

Great location for the beach and nightlife yet peaceful at night. Spotless, spacious rooms and bathroom. Small but lovely pool. Delicious food menu. Helpful and super friendly staff.

It would be nice to have a body lotion in the bathroom and better coffee in the room - maybe coffee machines…

A nice inexpensive Hotel with lovely clean, large, modern and comfortable rooms. My room was a bit musty- however they moved me with nil issues. Breakfast was fabulous.

The pool is lovely but limited sun on it.

How close the Mahata was to everything only 10min scooter or walk to anything!

We loved everything about this hotel, from the front of house staff, pool bar staff and the housekeeping team - the whole team were incredible. The location is perfect in the hustle and bustle but down the laneway to be quiet enough for a good night sleep. The cinnamon whiskey cocktail was like drinking an apple pie. Being able to work from the restaurant overlooking the pool was wonderful and finally relaxing at night with a few drinks around the pool was the icing on the cake.

Everything, Mahata was the highlight to my first real overseas experience. Highly recommend 👌 Staff were excellent, Hevi was exceptional 👏 I will definitely stay here next year. Cheers Steve.

The hotel was a good location to the restaurants and sports bars. And easy walking distance to places of interest in Legian. The staff were excellent, the reception and restaurant staff, thanks.

I usually say something if things are not likeable. However, I have nothing to say here. The friendly staff override everything.

There is not a single thing that wasn’t exceptional about this 2 night stay. It was such a pleasure we didn’t want to leave! We will definitely be returning very soon!

Everything the staff did was accommodating. I broke my ankle in Canggu, and they went out of their way to make my stay so comfortable. The rooms are perfect, and the food in the restaurant is delicious at reasonable prices. Would definitely stay again. Actually I extended my stay for another 6 days ♥️

Love this place. I've stayed here a few times now. The staff are very accommodating, rooms are clean, I felt very comfortable here as a solo traveller. The location is a highlight as it is central, yet it's down a side street so it is very quiet. The restaurant is good.. they do room service until late. I didn't experience any rowdy guests, even with a swim up bar. The vibe was very chill. Easy access to and from airport. Would recommend 👍❤️

We had a lovely stay at The Mahata. The resort is small, but it was beautifully presented, clean, and very comfortable. The atmosphere was relaxing and the staff were warm and welcoming throughout our stay. A great option for a cosy and enjoyable stay. Couldn't ask for a better location just steps away from Melasti!
