The property was very well maintained with a great location and close proximity to the lakeside. The staff were amazing and really courteous, the hotel manager Ms. Laxmi was amazing and helpful and made every effort to ensure we had whatever we needed during our stay.

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Barahi Pokhara for two nights, and it was truly an exceptional experience. I booked the hotel on the very same day of our arrival and mentioned to the staff upon check-in that it happened to be my wife's birthday. To our absolute delight, they surprised us beyond expectations! They upgraded our room, decorated it beautifully with colorful balloons, and within just a few minutes, brought us a wonderful birthday cake to celebrate. That was only the beginning of our amazing stay. Cleanliness and hospitality were clearly their top priorities. Every time we left our room and returned, we found fresh towels, restocked toiletries, and emptied trash bins—all done so seamlessly and discreetly without us even noticing. Although the building has a slightly classic/heritage structure, its spotless cleanliness, amenities, and thoughtful care made it feel timeless. The genuine smiles and warm greetings welcomed us in every corner of the property. We also thoroughly enjoyed the daily performances by the local Nepalese troupe, who added a wonderful cultural touch with their beautiful traditional dances each evening. I told the management that they offered us far more than just hospitality; they showed us genuine love, respect, and the natural, heart-warming kindness of Nepalese culture. To top it all off, they generously arranged a complimentary airport drop-off for us as a birthday courtesy! Choosing this hotel was the best decision, and we will undoubtedly return. Special thanks to Laxmi, the wonderful person behind all this beauty and seamless service, as well as Durga, who took exceptional care of us at the fantastic breakfast buffet. Hotel Barahi Pokhara is located in a very beautiful and scenic place. I traveled from Pokhara International Airport to Hotel Barahi Pokhara and reached the hotel very easily. The breakfast provided by Hotel Barahi Pokhara was excellent, and it left a lasting impression on me. In fact, it made me crave it again because it was so delicious that I can never forget it. The staff at Hotel Barahi Pokhara are friendly, professional, and very helpful. The hotel's housekeeping service is excellent, and the housekeeping staff are also courteous, supportive, and attentive to guests' needs.

We do not like spicy food. Every day for lunch and dinner the cook and his team made non-spicy food for us. It was delicious.

Love the ambience, breakfast varieties, friendly and efficient front desk and security. We were also able to see the fishtail mountain. The location is about 100 m to the lake and just next to the main shopping street.

Ich habe das Hotel Barahi für insgesamt drei Aufenthalte in Pokhara gebucht. Man hat mich jedes Mal sehr nett empfangen, und sich nach meinen Befinden erkundigt. Besonders möchte ich Krishna hervorheben, um nur einen Namen zu nennen. Man wird mit Welcome-Drink und kleinem Snack im Zimmer empfangen. Ich hab mich tatsächlich sehr zuhause gefühlt und werde zu 100% das Hotel für meinen nächsten Aufenthalt in Pokhara wieder buchen und auch meinen Freunden weiterempfehlen. Preislich liegt es im Vergleich zu anderen Hotels zwar etwas höher, für mich war es das aber auf allen Fall wert und angemessen, da es mir tatsächlich an nichts fehlte. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet alles was das Herz begehrt und man wird auch dort sogar mit Namen angesprochen. Auch der Pool und Spa-Bereich ist sehr schön und gemütlich. Die Lage ebenso sehr gut, mit wenigen Minuten bis zum Seeufer. Die Zimmer sind ebenso hervorragend ausgestattet und auch das Badezimmer sehr modern. Rundum eine ‚Wohlfühloase’ für mich während meines zweiwöchigen Nepal-Urlaubes. DANKE!!

Ich wurde bereits sehr herzlich empfangen und auch während des Aufenthaltes zu meiner vollsten Zufriedenheit umsorgt. Das Personal ist unglaublich freundlich und versucht einem jeglichen Wunsch zu erfüllen. Es gibt ein unglaublich reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet mit allem was das Herz begehrt. Man wird persönlich ins Zimmer begleitet und mit einem Willkommensgetränk und -Snack begrüßt. Mehrmals erkundigte man sich, ob ich denn noch irgendwelche Wünsche hätte und alles zu meiner Zufriedenheit ist. Eine unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft. Danke für die wundervolle Zeit. Ich hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt und ich werde bei meinem nächsten Aufenthalt auf jeden Fall wieder das Hotel Barahi buchen.

Great spa , breakfast and the staff

The best, sweetest staff and the best place to stay especially when you're looking forward to a long hot shower after trekking for a few days! Breakfast was also exceptional.

Very helpful and friendly staff, really went out of their way to make sure we had a great time that included the reception, restaurant, housekeeping, everyone was so nice! Lovely spacious and comfortable room. They gave us cookies every day. Delicious breakfast, plenty of choice. Buffet dinner was also great with free cultural show. Good coffee and cocktails available from the poolside.

Sometimes the room wasn't made up until later in the day. Everything else was perfect!

Barulho nos corredores, portas batendo de outros vizinhos ( precisaram melhorar a acústica e a fechadura para que na seja necessário bater a porta). Água do chuveiro estava com cheiro forte de enxofre (li relatos de outros hotéis da rede, com mesmo problema, até mesmo com água turva —- então creio que seja necessário rever a forma como tratam a água).

The service in Hotel Barahi Pokhara is nothing but outstanding! Everyone is so helpful and full of initiative! The Hotel Manager, Ram, after knowing we will be staying in 3 of the Barahi Hotels (Pokhara, Sarangkot and Chitwan), offered a complimentary dinner for us! Durga, who worked in the restaurant, also provided great service to us. Overall, fantastic hotel with every member provided excellent service to their guest!

Very well-maintained property. The rooms are beautifully decorated and modern, with great attention to detail in the design. The bathroom is excellent, with a large shower. There’s a lovely mountain view from the window, and the bed and pillows are very comfortable. The staff is extremely helpful and always looking for ways to assist. The breakfast was good, and I especially recommend the eggs with bacon made on the spot.

It was a real pleasure to stay in this hotel. Everything was perfect including amazing breakfast. Special congratulations for the staff who is absolutely exceptional, with a gorgious sense of hospitality, always helpful and so friendly. Even when I made a last minute reservation, the front desk manager found a solution to provide me with the best room possible. VIP treatment anytime and attention to small details made my stay memorable. I just loved my experience at Barahi Pokhara and highly recommend to stay in this hotel

- mein Zimmer im 7. Stock (710) hatte direkten Blick zu den Bergen. Leider hat es im gegenüberliegendem Gebäude eine grosse Baustelle und es wird höher gebaut, sodass dann die Aussicht zum Berg nicht mehr gegeben ist. Das ist sehr schade. - Sehr freundliches Personal, leckeres vielfältiges Frühstück. - Sehr gepflegtes Zimmer, es wurden mir frische Früchte und sehr leckere Cookies und frisches Wasser zur Verfügung gestellt. - Moderner und gepflegter Swimmingpool - Toplage an Lakeside

My family had a memorable and exceptional stay at Hotel Barahi in Jan 1st week 2026. From the moment you step in the property, the hospitality, warmth and care from the hotel team is just wonderful and we had one of the best holiday experiences with them. Food and restaurant staff is just amazing, and it feels like home. Special thanks to Krishna for taking so much care of our family and helping us to sort out any problems we faced in travel. Also thanks to Mr. Indra, for taking us out on the day tour and taking so much care of us. Many thanks to Laxmi for bring our buddy ! I strongly feel that Hotel Barahi have raised the hospitality and management levels so high, there is a lot to learn for other big and luxury hotels, from this team.

Seit 2011 besuchen wir das Hotel Barahi in Pokhara. Das Hotel wurde fortlaufend erweitert, renoviert und modernisiert. Wir haben auch diesmal unseren fünftägigen Aufenthalt in der kleinen „Ruhe-Oase“ an der Lakeside von Pokhara sehr genossen. Vorteile aus unserer Sicht: + gute, ruhige Lage mitten an der Lakeside + sehr saubere Zimmer, ggf. mit Bergblick + besonders gastfreundliches, hilfsbereites Serviceteam + jederzeit erreichbares Management + leckeres, vielfältiges Frühstück + gutes Restaurant + moderner, sehr gepflegter Swimmingpool + gut ausgestattete Poolbar Besonders empfehlenswert sind die Zimmer in der vierten Etage des Anbaus mit Bergblick. Vielen Dank für den rundum schönen Aufenthalt. Wir werden diesen in sehr guter Erinnerung behalten. Wir freuen uns schon jetzt auf den nächsten Besuch. Für unsere Weiterfahrt wurde uns vom Hotel ein modernes Elektro-Auto mit einem freundlichen, ruhigen und erfahrenen Fahrer zu einem fairen Preis zur Verfügung gestellt. Danke auch dafür.

Seems random whether or not you will have a balcony or a fridge. I have stayed there twice and can’t seem to get both in the same room.

I was travelling alone from India and stayed in this property for 4 days.Location is in a walking distance from the Pokhara lake market. Rooms are spacious , as show in the website and wel-maintained. Food is good and staff are very polite and provide the best service and hospitality.

Beautiful location. Close to lake. Activity organizer is amazing! We got to our point hill trek and came back and did some extra activities and had a wonderful time .
